Watching a fandom die down or die out is so melancholy, especially if your a fanfic reader.

Like one day there’s 100’s of new fics everyday. There’s always ten fics your currently reading that are regularly getting updated.

And then one day you log on and maybe your own interest has been lacking lately so you take a look at the fics and nothing really grabs your attention.

Another day you log in and wow not much has changed. There’s a few new fics and a new chapter on one.

You forget about it for a couple months and you log in again, and wow. Nothings changed. Nothing new.

You’ve watched not only yourself slowly drift away from a piece of media you once spent countless hours almost obsessed over, but also everyone else drift away as well.

And sometimes it’s been YEARS since you’ve checked it out but you drop back in and wow. Again nothings changed but you know what’s still there? All your favourites. And so you go down the rabbit hole of rereading all your favs and then you read ‘new’ ones that in the past you simply skipped over. You see comments left, recent ones too! Your not the only one flipping through the old ‘photo album’ of fanfic memories. It’s kind of sweet in a way.

19 Ferals and counting: Pt. 2

So This huge jail break thing goes down and Logan has to release these Kids from their lil cambers and hope he can get them out of there. There’s this moment of chaos before the recognition sets in that he’s like them. Either they can smell it or they see him heal, or his claws or even just the resemblance to themselves.

None of them really speak at all and Logan doesn’t even know if they know how. So they break out and Tony pulls a solid (he will gloat about it and be very smug) and whisks them away on the Avenger jet.

Tony is the reason they can stay hidden (and also the reason Logan can afford anything from this point on, kids be expensive).

Tony hides him away on some remote mansion cabin he owns in wherever. It’s off grid and with Jarvis installed it’s protected. (Jarvis can also facilitate obtaining supplies). There’s some kind of force field or cloaking system that keeps a certain area around this hidden and secure. Also prevents the kids from immediately running off.

So, here’s Logan with a classroom worth of kids (traumatized child soldiers with varying levels of feral abilities) and now he needs to figure out parenthood.

19 Ferals and counting: Logan desperately try’s to raise 19 of his clones / newly adopted children. PT. 1

So the X-Men shut down this big operation that’s ripping off the Superhuman serum used for Captain America, right?

It’s linked with the whole Weapon X program and they have Logan’s DNA on file, and who doesn’t want instant healing soldier’s?

They bust the lab, they find a bunch of inhumane mutant experiments, and a bunch of Avatar like pods with Feral Mutant mini Logan’s ranging from like 3 years old up to 16-18 ish. This includes Laura and X24.

SHIELD gets involved and is like, “listen these are experiments gone wrong, they’ve suffered enough. We don’t need to wake em up, we’ll just ‘let them go.’ All peaceful, right?”

And everyone’s like, this is a moral dilemma!!Everyone is on a different side of the fence and Logan’s like “…??? These are kids??? With my DNA??? And we’re just gonna let them die because????”

And so it’s this huge thing, the clones are kept under shield watch and there’s this big thing of what are we gonna do? We need to discuss all options blah blah blah but shield already knows what they are doing because they don’t want 20 odd superhuman traumatized child mutants with who knows what powers running around. They could be trained lil winter soldiers.

Logan decides he’s gonna call in a friendly favour and contacts Captain America himself cause he knows caps to good to let kids die. And caps like “I’m on it.”
