And this last one is more of an opinion than a headcanon, but I think he deserves better than Palmer. Now, I don’t hate Palmer (I know some of my tags might make it seem that way, but I just think it’s fun to torment him), but I don't think he's a good parent. The fact that Barry’s whole motivation for money is so he can build his own Battle Tower to get his dad’s attention WHEN HE IS ONLY 10 is not healthy. Maybe one day in the future they can reconnect and have a better relationship, but for now I think Barry should be focused on having dumb fun.

Headcanuary 2024

Day 8 - Birthday

I know in the past I used to give my muses birthdates (in fact, I believe that info can still be found in some of my muses google docs). But let it be known that for actual worlbuilding purposes, the dates are completely irrelevant and make no sense at all. So, I completely disregard them. It is way more likely that the pokemon world, has its own set of months, and in some regions cases they may follow an entirely different calendar altogether.

Don't mistake my words, I'm not saying they don't celebrate their birthdays in most cases. I just don't see any purpose in doing anything with them (outside of some dash shenanigans that I really don't partake in, there isn't a reason to actually do any of that).

With that out of the way:

Brendan and Barry enjoy spending their birthdays in the company of their family and close friends. Even though, this was impossible to do, while they travelled abroad. Especially Barry, who spens many more years travelling, across the globe. He has had several birthdays he practically spent on video calls with his family and friends, that stayed back in Sinnoh;

The likes of Matsuba and Drake don't actually know when their birthdays precisely are. They never celebrate such date. Although, Drake can actually learn such fact about himself, through looking for official papers about himself. So, at least in his case it isn't a complete loss. But Matsuba is a lost cause;

Juan goes far an beyond in making his birthdays an entire spectacle, on its own. His fanbase is well known for making enormous tributes to their idol, in this very special date. Juan also enjoys hosting huge luxurious parties to celebrate it;

Morty and Rowan prefer smaller things, with only a select few people around them to celebrate it. Rowan may spend this day with his significant other's company. Whereas Morty likes to seek out either Eusine or Zuki's company, if either options are unavailable, he seeks out establishments that gives out free food for his birthday.

Don’t reblog this post, I don’t want it being spread around.

Basically a compilation and combination of some old stuff, that I still find it to be relevant for my muses. Obviously, nothing will be enforced upon anyone, but at the same time I need to show what’s relevant or not for my work so there aren’t any mistakes.

I’m bound to add or remove things, if I see fit:

Game mechanics: As the name implies, a lot of these things are just meant to be that, and they shouldn’t affect the lore or worldbuilding for the most part. However, it seems like some RPers like to take them into consideration, so here’s where I stand:

NOT TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION/It just isn’t a thing in their world:

IVs/EVs: there is no such thing as precisely knowing the pokemon’s stats.

Glitches (Especifically MissingNo and the Bad eggs)

HMs: They aren’t exactly tutors like TMs, more so abilities that the pokemon already have within themselves.

Please don’t talk about IRL meta strategies, it makes no sense for a storytelling standpoint.

Taken into a CERTAIN DEGREE:

Natures: Most trainers are aware that raising two pokemon of the same specie, can lead into different results. The natures/personalities have been described, classified and studied. But there is no such thing as people being 100% sure, which aspect of the pokemon will be enhanced by what (e.g.: Pokemon with Adamant nature, have been observed to have a tendency to mostly rely on physical force rather than attacking from the distance).

Levels: This goes alongside IVs and EVs’ statement. There is no such thing as keeping track of a pokemon’s growth, at least not with numbers or some kind of grading system. A pokemon’s strength and superiority over the other, is a combination of multiple factors (the amount of training, bond with their trainer, etc.).

Power Point: A pokemon running out of a move’s PP is simply described as a fatigue, that prevents them from using the attack. There is no such thing as precisely knowing how many times a move can be used in a battle, the trainer will have to take it from their own observations.

Hacked/illegal pokemon: They are essentially pokemon, that are forbidden from being used in battles that follows the pokemon League’s established laws. This is because these pokemon are found using attacks, and abilities that they don’t naturally learn. As the methods to usually obtain such results, are deemed unethical, with no respect taken into consideration to the pokemon’s well being.

Base stats: Species strengths, it isn’t something that has  been precisely counted or kept track of. These are just a specie’s  strong points, that people have observed and studied. They do use the  classifications of Attack/defense/special attack/etc. although this is something mostly limited to those who study and research them.  

Taken into consideration:

TMs: In present time (BW setting) they are reusable, prior to it they were single use only. The TMs are programmed to react/teach to species determined by its development teams, who worked alongside professors.

Shinies: The very rare odds of finding one are intricately tied the fact that these pokemon, don’t survive for long enough in the wild. The shiny pendant is just a little luck trinket, associated with tales of making these pokemon show up more oftenly in the wild (even though that has been debunked).

Critical hits: Just an attack that lands on an weakspot at a pokemon’s body, it could be a scar, an wounded area,etc. It is pure luck.

Trading: Pokemon that need to be traded in order to evolve, actually take a lot longer to evolve by themselves in the wild or with a trainer by themselves. The process of trading is meant to quicken/shorten things up, something brought thanks to the technology’s advance.

Worldbuilding:

Kanto and Johto have a rivalry that dates back to millennias ago. Although the origins of it are long lost, the animosity between the regions never went away. And in the present time, it is tied to the disparity of both regions’ developments. Kanto went on to become one of the most technological advanced regions on the planet, although it lost steam over time. Whereas Johto is mainly known as Kanto’s countryside, due to the fact it chose to maintain its traditional roots somewhat alive. Both regions may speak the same tongue, however each one comes with its own very distinct dialect (a trainer may not get around in Kanto, while using Johto’s dialect, and vice-versa). However, both regions have one thing in common: They both have a long history of dealing with corruption. Be it from the likes of Team Rocket, running the underground scene in Kanto and having a firm hold of the region. To Johto’s ancient issues, bound to the few remaining clans spread across its territory, who still are very powerful within the region. Unfortunately, this rampant corruption has deeply affected the Pokemon League, and how it functions in both regions.

Sinnoh is the oldest and the largest region, on the planet. Much like Johto, it seems to be lost in time. As unfortunately, the region is plagued by one of the worst Winters, on the planet and it dictates the course of events throughout the region. As one can imagine, this kind of extreme season has had a huge effect on the Pokemon League in Sinnoh, especially to any trainers’ journey. As such, it is no wonder the Battle Frontier managed to expand to this land, and establish itself there.

The Pokemon League and the Battle Frontier are two completely separate entities, with their own set of rules and there is a clear competition between both companies. While the League became very popular and widespread amongst trainers, the frontier has opted to appeal to a more specialized/experienced kind of trainers. There’s a clear rivalry between both companies employees, as they are loyal to their own respective companies.

Headcanon unrelated to current comic events (everyone has Dreen theories right now)

In the future, it becomes known that Agatha Heterodyne's Spark was, for the first part of her life, suppressed by a wearable Mechanism. We know that fact is in university textbooks, after all... And because Sparks Are Just Like That, people try to replicate it.

This is, to say the least, not a good idea. No one else is Barry Heterodyne. Most of the Sparks who try cause serious damage to the potentially Sparky children they try their devices on. You'd think people would get a clue, but...Sparks. Sparks think "oh, but that inferior hack who barely deserves to be my rival did it wrong, obviously, I can do better!"

It is one of the things that, in the post-canon, Triumvirate-ruled Wulfenbach Empire, gets you shot on sight.

(Outside the Empire, it gets you wrapped up in the local equivalent of a high-security bow and sold to the Empire to be shot on sight. Both Gil and Tarvek have been known to undersell valuable trade/security treaties because they really want to shoot that guy. It's a known if minor weakness in their diplomatic prowess, which their neighbors are happy to exploit when possible.)

(And it's still considered the merciful option, because if they don't shoot the guy, Agatha is going to get her hands on him.)

The Triumvirate takes such things personally. They have kids by this point. There was never any doubt that the kids would break through, but boy, were the three of them really paranoid about locket-type mechanisms for a while.

Triumvirate kids get warned about accepting jewelry from people with the fervency of razor-blades-in-Halloween-candy scares. Each of them has a secret pattern of imperfections on all their sigil pins and other wearable things, that only they know, so that no accessory they ever own is replaced or altered without their knowledge.

No more Spark-suppressing, brain-strangling mechanisms. Ever.

✨ Bruce Wayne Headcanons that haunt me but I refuse to elaborate on even if they're utterly wrong Pt. 2✨

Going feral over this man

Hal and Bruce almost share a birthday and it fucking infuriates Bruce for no reason.

My guy was a rebellious teenager growing up, you know, trauma baby tings but also wanting to distance himself from the elite society (I mean rich Gotham really is a different cesspool of evilness lmao who can blame the poor guy.) Not to get deep but the beginning of his crusade was him wanting to seek a life and identity beyond the Wayne name right and witness Gotham from all angles. However, after realising he can both honour and build upon his legacy, Bruce destroyed any proof of this phase as he associates it with his turbulent and troubled coming of age. Little does he know there's a box filled with Polaroids within the 73288199 attics of Wayne Manor ready for his kids to find plus his detailed knowledge about the punk scene of Gotham makes them suspicious anyway.

Bruce learns a lot from his children. He may be their mentor but he's definitely learnt acrobatic tricks from Dick Grayson, combat and body language from Cass etc etc. Black Canary one day complimenting an acrobatic move of Bruce's only for him to have learnt it from one 11 year old Dick Grayson.

Bruce knows every nook and cranny of the watchtower. This guy designed, funded and helped build this fucking thing. Superman can hear him fuckin scurrying in the hundreds of boiler rooms, hidden corridors and storage rooms like a human rat. Flash doesn't understand how this man just teleports from one end of the tower to the other not knowing Bruce built trapdoors, hidden passageways, fake walls in this place. Bruce has a hiding spot in the upper levels of the watchtower where a small window gives view to Earth. J'onn is the only leaguer who can rival Batman in his watchtower knowledge.

He is the unofficial caretaker of the justice league. He makes sure all catering and quarters are fully equipped to people's needs. Overhears a leaguer saying there aren't enough vegetarian options? Bam, fully renewed menu. Barry complaining he can't sleep because his quarter is too cold? Bam, temperature risen. Small things like office supplies, medical equipment - he's always taking mental notes of. He knows what leaguer is allergic to what too. Lad keeps the watchtower STOCKED

The League never fails to wish a member a happy birthday. Somehow word always gets out and no one really knows how the date gets around. It's Bruce. He knows everyone's birthdays. Sometimes photogenic memory doesn't work in his favour. When it comes to respect, compassion and love - Bruce isn't the verbal type. He prefers to show it through action - I mean he crusades around Gotham to show his need to protect people for God's sake. Therefore, he sets like a reminder anonymously on the watchtower monitor for some random hero to find.

My guy HATES Asmr.

Bruce's hair is naturally thick and actually pretty darn curly. Superman is renowned for having the curls, but Bruce - with dirty, grown out hair - can give him a run for his money. His curls never show though as he keeps his hair very short and often has it sleeked back in public (as Thomas and Alfred always told him it was neater and more proper that way.)

He is a PERFECT mix between Thomas and Martha. Everyone who ever meets Brucie Wayne for the first time tells him he's the spitting image of both of them.

My man was a heartthrob in the 90s. Dick and Tim frequently Google "Bruce Wayne 90s" and bust a gut laughing at how their old man is like in every fuckin teenage magazine published in that decade.

respond to the prompts out of character!

what made you pick up the current muse(s) you have? Obviously, I'm heavily influenced by a set list of characters I personally love, which means I come up with a take/portrayal as I delve deeper into the lore. I tend to have a preference for side characters, rather than protags or lore heavy ones, bc of the freedom I get... BUT at the same time I've had numerous muses that carry a lot of weight in their respective franchises (see: Seto Kaiba, Captain Rex, rival Barry, Richter Belmont and Sea Dragon Kanon just to name a few).

I mainly write as canon characters, I genuinely have little to no interest in making or RPing as an OC. At most, I have 1 OC in two out of the RPCs I'm currently part of. Which explains this huge disparity.

is there anything you don’t like to write? My hard nos are Incest, Adult/minor types of relationships. Bodily fluids/toilet stuff and fetish focused RPs. One-liners and really short replies aren't fun for me, sure, they can be fun for crack/joke interactions. But they won't last long. I really love working and expanding on the source material, so RPs for me really need to have that good plotting to back it up. While I'm totally open for exploring darker/taboo subjects (e.g.: adultery, toxic relationships, etc.), they MUST carry weight on the characters and be handled accordingly.

is there anything you really enjoy writing? GIMME ALL THE WEIRD COMBOS TO INTERACT WITH!!! Characters that never met or barely interacted with one another in canon but, they can interact in our RPs!!! My jam is doing worldbuilding and expanding on the source material!!! I also enjoy writing comedy, fluff, romance, slice-of-life, over-arching stories that connect/get refferenced in other threads.

how do you come up with headcanons? I look for plotholes or anything that was barely touched upon, in the source material, and I go off from it. I try establishing connections or make them clearer, to serve as future reference for me and my RP partners. I also love taking influence from other medias I'm into.

do you write in silence or do you play music? I used to be able to multitask a lot easier in the past. Now, I mainly prefer writing in silence. Only in very rare cases, I may play some kind of lo-fi beat or lounge music.

do you plan your replies or wing them? It depends on the thread in specific! Most of them have been plotted out, so I go off what we have laid out. Only in a few cases I try to wing it.

do you enjoy shipping? YES YES. GIMME. However, due to some bad experiences in the past, I'm really picky with platonic and familial stuff (popular fanons my beloathed).

Jay Garrick: the Flash Headcanon

SPOILERS for Jay Garrick: the Flash #1-4

So, Jay Garrick: the Flash has just introduced a villain named Doctor Elemental. His real name is Professor Hughes, and he was Jay Garrick's chemistry professor. He was also responsible for activating the metahuman powers of both Jay Garrick (the first Flash) and Jay's recently-introduced daughter Judy Garrick (the Boom), and is a nasty piece of work. He's experimented upon---and killed---dozens of people in an attempt to give people superpowers on a wider scale, and he's also frustrated with the fact that he was able to give Jay superspeed but was unable to grant himself metahuman powers. In spite of his lack of powers, however, he did manage to invent a pair of gloves that let him transmute the elements---hence his supervillain name.

So, we have a supervillain who calls himself Dr. Elemental, wears a big fancy cape and cowl, can transmute matter, and is obsessed with giving people superpowers by any means necessary. This leads me to my new headcanon----namely, that Dr. Elemental played a part in the creation of Dr. Alchemy.

Albert Desmond was born around forty years ago to an astronomer named Peter (or Herbert, or Herman---Cary Bates was bad at remembering characters' names) Desmond. Shortly after he was born, his father discovered a pulsating sun known as the Dragon's Eye. The energy from this star passed from his powerful telescope into the ring he was wearing, and then, when he held baby Albert, that same energy passed into the boy. Unbeknownst to everyone, this would imbue Albert with incredible power---but also a propensity towards mental instability. (This information comes from Flash vol. 1 #216.)

We know from Rita Desmond (Albert's wife) that his powers and mental instability were both dormant until he turned 20 years old and the Dragon's Eye star began pulsing. Thus, I think it's reasonable to guess that he was already in college, and possible that he had already met and become romantically involved with Rita, by the time his mental instability and powers first surfaced. (We also know that Albert had to have gone to college at some point, because, as per Gotham Central #28-31, he has PhDs in chemistry, biochemistry, and molecular biology.)

Now for the headcanon stuff.

Professor Hughes is a creepy scientist who's invented technology to give himself elemental powers, and he is totally obsessed with granting other people superpowers. He also has an obsessive hatred for the first Flash, Jay Garrick, and, even though at this point the first Flash has retired (and has possibly become trapped in time thanks to a scheme from the Thinker, the Fiddler, and the Shade), there is now a new Flash---clearly with metahuman powers---running around. Worse, this Flash, from the name alone, is obviously a fan of the original Flash (whom Professor Hughes hates). He can't reveal himself to fight this new Flash directly, since that would necessitate revealing himself and jeapordizing his very long-term revenge plan against Jay Garrick's whole family, but he might be able to create a new superpowered rival for Barry.

This is where Albert comes in. Since Professor Hughes/Dr. Elemental seems to be a creepy, obsessive stalker, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for him to keep tabs on people who seem as though they may possess---or have the potential to develop---metahuman powers. So, when he hears that there's a brilliant young scientist, who has recently developed some mental health problems and who keeps having inexplicable things happening around him, he poses as a normal scientist, promises Albert explanations for the weirdness around him, and then uses their sessions together as a way to carry out his experiments on him.

Once he has Albert, he starts experimenting on him with a variety of substances (allegedly, they're meant to help him control his mental instability and the weird things that are happening around him, but in actuality, they're to either give him superpowers outright or greatly increase the potency of the powers he already has). This, naturally, does not do wonders for Albert's already unstable mental state, and things are made even worse for him by the fact that Dr. Elemental starts deliberately playing on his unstable psyche to induce a second personality, one that's basically the embodiment of his darker impulses and mental instability. After all, if he's going to fight the Flash for Dr. Elemental, he's going to need the proper motivation.

Dr. Elemental's experiments prove to be a phenomenal success. While the pulsing of the Dragon's Eye star would have eventually ensured that Albert developed incredible metahuman powers, the stress that Dr. Elemental's chemicals placed on his body caused the powers to manifest much more rapidly than they would have naturally. There was only one problem: namely, the fact that Albert's powers proved to be more powerful and extensive than Dr. Elemental could ever have predicted.

Albert Desmond possessed the power to transmute any substance into any other substance. Through his metahuman genes, the effect of the Dragon's Eye, and Dr. Elemental's experimentations, he could meet---and surpass---the abilities and powers that Dr. Elemental's own technology granted to him. Dr. Elemental, always jealous of those with natural abilities, and paranoid that his creation might turn against him, decided that he needed to take some precautions. To that end, he helped Albert create an "Element Gun", and, through a lot of manipulation and possibly even some drugs, convinced Albert that he needed to use the gun in order to manipulate the elements, and that he would be effectively powerless without it.

With that, he released Albert, who promptly designed a bizarre costume for himself, set up a hideout in some caves outside Central City, gathered up a team of henchmen whom he forced to wear even more bizarre outfits (and whom he named after the six inert gases), and started a crime spree as the fantastic Mr. Element. (Dr. Elemental was very pleased by Albert's choice of name.)

Albert fought the Flash and was imprisoned, but later dug his way out of jail with a spoon, then found his cellmate's "lucky stone", which he had decided must be the Philosopher's Stone. Sure enough, once he found it, he discovered that it could transmute the elements, and he used it to start a new crime wave as Dr. Alchemy. (His mental health also continued to deteriorate; the Dr. Alchemy name and costume were a sign of his developing a third personality.) What Albert didn't realize was that the stone he had found was, like the Element Gun, merely a conduit for his powers.

Albert fought the Flash again, and was imprisoned again...but this time, he decided to seek help for his mental problems, which he received. He served out his sentence, was released, and then returned to a normal life with his girlfriend Rita, whom he would soon marry. He also became close friends with Barry (who he did not know was the Flash) and Iris. This probably annoyed Dr. Elemental, so the man was no doubt pleased when manipulations from Eobard Thawne, the Reverse-Flash, and Albert's own mental instabilities caused him to occasionally revert to criminality---and he would be even more pleased when Alvin Desmond arrived on the scene.

You see, while neither the Philosopher's Stone nor the Element Gun had initially been anything special, Albert was so powerful that, when he used them as conduits for his power, they eventually gained powers of their own, with the Stone even developing a limited degree of sentience. Unfortunately for Albert, the Stone was very frustrated with his determination to live a normal life, and so it created a new wielder for itself out of Albert's darker impulses.

This new wielder, a simulacrum of a human, was named Alvin Desmond, and he became the new Dr. Alchemy. The Stone gave him false memories of his past and of his position as Albert Desmond's "astral twin", primarily to avoid any risk of Alvin spending more time questioning his existence and identity than he spent committing spectacular crimes with it. The plan worked perfectly, and the much more malevolent Alvin Desmond served as the Stone's perfect host, while also carrying on Dr. Elemental's twisted legacy.

However, both Alvin and Albert would eventually come to realize that Alvin was a creation of the Philosopher's Stone, and Albert would use that knowledge to seemingly destroy his evil "twin" (though the Stone could easily recreate Alvin if it ever wanted to do so). Albert then lived out a fairly peaceful and normal life for several more years.

While Albert was trying to be retired, the Philosopher's Stone was stolen by a S.T.A.R. Labs scientist named Dr. Curt Engstrom, who used it to become the Alchemist (and who lazily barely changed the Dr. Alchemy costume. At least Alvin had the excuse of a) being a simulacrum created by the Stone to be all the things it liked about Albert and b) attempting to frame Albert for his crimes!) He fought Wally once, but then never appeared again. I don't know what happened to him, but my best guess is that the Stone didn't like him for whatever reason and just abandoned him, thus leaving him unable to escape from prison.

A few years after that, Albert apparently had some sort of mental breakdown, and the Dr. Alchemy personality seemed to take over permanently. He generally was more interested in reading ancient tomes (some of which were apparently full of gibberish HTML) than in actively committing crimes, but he was crueler and more amoral than he had ever been before.

Around the same time, a corrupt police scientist named Alexander Petrov started using the Element Gun to kill other police officers, which he was able to do thanks to the residual power that Albert's extended use of the weapon had left in it. Unfortunately for him, he was stupid enough to frame Captain Cold for his murders, and Captain Cold promptly killed him for it as soon as he found out about it. It really makes you wonder how he managed to become a police scientist in the first place, since "framing Captain Cold for murder" is up there with "threatening to kill the Flash's loved ones" and "taunting Gorilla Grodd with bananas" in terms of things that you really, really shouldn't do if you value your health. Dr. Alchemy heard about this new Mr. Element and was not impressed, later thanking Cold for getting rid of his would-be successor.

Through his experiments on Albert Desmond, Dr. Elemental ultimately created FOUR different supervillains who would bedevil the Flashes, a feat which he counts as a unqualified success.

For the Dawn's starter in Masters not being canonical to what she would have chosen in the games, with Barry having the stronger and Lucas taking what's left, I'd subscribed to the headcanon that every trainer in Masters is from an alternate universe. Cyrus was put in Pasio just after successfully obtaining Palkia (making him from Pearl's timeline). Cynthia, Cheryl and Dawn all mention having bested Team Galactic / Cyrus on Spear Pillar. That wouldn't have happened if he'd just disappeared. In Barry's Pokémon Center dialogue, he calls his rival 'that kid', so maybe in his universe, the player picked Chimchar. And Lucas could have come from a timeline where Dawn chose Piplup. None of them talk of this just like how none speak of Red / Leaf / Ash being from the same house in Pallet, or why Grimsley isn't having an identity crisis with his future self from Alola.

It makes sense. Most of the characters in Pasio seem to be post canon to their games, but there are a couple exceptions that nobody questions like Grimsley's. I like that theory too tbh, it would explain Ash at least since he's strictly from the anime (and I think a couple of manga volumes, not the ones with Red as MC I mean). Because otherwise, his story with Misty and Brook in particular would be a plot hole.

So, I guess that explanation for Cyrus fits as well. I still would have preferred for Dawn to have one of the legendaries, though, it's a detail that irks me a bit since it's established that she's supposed to be the Champion, not Lucas who's the professor assistant.

💛: What is a popular ship you just can't get behind, and why?

Coldflash (Barry Allen/Leonard Snart). Idk, it has all the ingredients of a ship that I really should be into, but I'm just... not. I think it's just that they're that really specific brand of "friendly rivals" that doesn't really excite me that much.

💚: What does everyone else get wrong about your favorite character?

It's apparently really hard to "get" Nora West-Allen's character if you didn't grow up in a single-parent household, never meeting your other parent. A lot of people say that she overreacted or that she was being irrational in her actions to try to save her dad from dying. Yeah, she did make some bad decisions, but she just wanted to know her dad. She just wanted to get to know him, because she had a frankly terrible life and she thought that maybe, if he was around, things could be better. Idk I have a lot of thoughts about her but she deserves her own post.

🖤: Which character is not as morally good as everyone else seems to think?

Caitlin Snow. Because she's the token white woman of the main cast, a lot of people seem to uwu-ify her and make her into someone who can do no wrong. Really, Caitlin has willingly worked with a human trafficker and hid the fact that she had a murderous alternate personality from people who could help her with it, and the people who were put in danger because of it, for a really long time.

💔: If you had to remove one major character from the series, who would you choose?

Cecile Horton. Idk, she just bores me. She's an interesting character in the earlier seasons, but later on, her personality is just filed down to "empath".

🏳️‍🌈: Which character who is commonly headcanoned as queer doesn't seem queer to you?

They all seem like they're some flavor of LGBT+. However, with Caitlin Snow, people often headcanon her as bi or pan, but I see her as a-spec.

Star Wars:

💛: What is a popular ship you just can't get behind, and why?

Obikin. Even though I'm aware that they're both adults when most people ship it, I'm just not a huge fan of the power imbalance in there. It gives me this feeling of visceral disgust, and if I see it untagged that gets an instant block from me. Ship and let ship, I'm not going to give someone hate if they ship it, but that ship kinda grosses me out.

💚: What does everyone else get wrong about your favorite character?

REVA WAS A CHILD!!! SHE WAS A CHILD SUCKED INTO A BRUTAL CULT AND NO ONE WAS THERE FOR HER!!!! YES SHE DID BAD THINGS BUT THAT DOES NOT MAKE HER A BAD PERSON! SHE WAS TRYING TO SURVIVE!!!! (also she's honestly one of the best most compelling characters that Star Wars has put out since the Clone Wars ended and anyone who says otherwise clearly doesn't understand her character)

🖤: Which character is not as morally good as everyone else seems to think?

Padme. Again, sad dead white woman can do no wrong. She was ready to stay with Anakin, to try to bring him back to the light, even after finding out that he murdered his friends and massacred children.

💔: If you had to remove one major character from the series, who would you choose?

Kylo Ren. He really could have been interesting! He had so much potential! I was peak Reylo trash back when TLJ came out, but now? He got boring. There was potential there, but they just made him a generic conflicted sad bad boy.

🏳️‍🌈: Which character who is commonly headcanoned as queer doesn't seem queer to you?

General Hux. While I have enjoyed a few Huxlo fics in my time, I don't really see him as liking men, or he's just around the wrong type of men. MAYBE he'd be Bi with a very strong preference for women, a 0.1 on the Kinsey Scale, but I don't see him as being anything more than that.

Not all pokemon they own are meant to be used in battles, this may come as a shock to some, when it comes to Gym leaders.

Morty:

Dunsparce - he doesn't quite remember where he got Dunsparce from, he has forgotten about its true origins. But he can tell this pokemon has been with him, for about as long as his signature Gengar. This pokemon used to be a house pet, back at his family's home, a fact that he can't bring himself to remember. The pokemon stays at his appartment, rarely leaving its premises. Only those closest to Morty even know, about its existence altogether;

Taurus, Fearow and Mantine - Morty owns these pokemon to help him traverse any terrain he comes across. He mainly carries these pokemon with him, whenever he travel abroad. Taurus is essential for him to get to places quickly, he was given this pokemon by a local of Ecruteak city, as a sign of gratitude for his services. Fearow is for fast flying travels, something he can't achieve when using his Drifblim. Lastly, Mantine helps him travel across bodies of water fairly quickly, Morty also shows he has a talent for surfing on top of it.

Juan:

There are several species of water pokemon commonly found throughout Hoenn's oceans, which he keeps in an aquarium inside his mansion. The most notable one is a school of Luvdisc. Another honorable mention goes to some species of pokemon, only found at the bottom of the ocean that are also kept in display;

Piplup - The way Juan acquired this pokemon wasn't through the most ethical way. But he owns a Piplup that roams around his mansion, which has no other purpose other than being cute, and being an addition to Juan's ever growing collection;

Barry:

Some of Barry's old team pokemon were left under his mother's care. Essentially, turning them into house pets of sorts. He did this, because he felt like it was the only way for him to truly get a taste, and learn more about other regions' native species. His starter Torterra, ended up becoming his mother's favorite. Which meant after his time in Unova, he basically left him exclusively with her.

Brendan:

Brendan only actually puts into use a very smaller percentage, of the pokemon species he owns. He likes capturing a good variety of new pokemon speces, wherever he goes. Some of his pokemon stay with him as his pets, but a select few of his pokemon are under his parents care.

Rowan:

Rowan isn't a trainer in any sense of the word, he doesn't enjoy pokemon battles in the slightest bit. So, every pokemon he owns is either a temporary study subject, which will be returned to/released in the wild once he is done with them. Or they are his pets. The most well-known pet is his Togekiss.

His Togekiss also carries out an important task of carrying letters and gifts, between him and his significant other. It may be old-fashioned, but they chose to keep the tradition up.

Matsuba's relationship with the band of ghost pokemon that followed him around was very different. To such an extent, they can't be considered his pets, and he most certainly wasn't their master.

Drake only owns 6 pokemon, all of which he carries with him all the time. And none of them can be considered pets, in any sense of the word.
