Well I was planning on discussing it a little bit once this all blew over.. but this is going on a lot longer than I thought it would unfortunately.. so I guess I should properly address it now- albeit vaguely for privacy reasons of course-

So for the past few months I've actually been dealing with a medical issue of some sort. For a while it was tolerable. I was able to sit at my desk for chunks of the day and still draw stuff..

But recently I caught a chest cold of some kind..? Which appears to have made my issue significantly worse. For the past 2 weeks or so my days have been spent collapsed on the couch.. that's why my recent posts have all been paper drawings from my sketch book-

When it comes to the issue itself, I've been to loads of doctors already and gotten a lot of tests done. So far they haven't found what's wrong.. but I'm sure we'll find it eventually. And so far it seems likely it's just a minor thing.. nothing to worry about.. probably-

Mostly what I'm hoping is that I can finally kick this cold and get back to when it was manageable. Then I can finally return to the comfort and peace of my room and get back to drawing stuff regularly 😭😭

As for Pokemon I had before them.? :0 If I remember correctly.. I had a tarountula named Webster for a bit. I caught a buizel and named him Danny.. and I also got a hoppip that I named Patty.

I actually got Patty early on and was kinda intending on keeping her. But I think I found Anastasia and I just had to keep my first shiny in my party. So out of all the critters.. Patty had to go 🥲💔

Undertale/ISAT crossover thoughts

Don't really want to write one myself (already got enough fics I'm failing to write XD) but ever since I finished In Stars and Time I've been thinking how I'd write a crossover between these two amazing games and I figured I'd share my notes in case anyone needs a bit of help/motivation in writing their own~ =D

Warning: These will mostly be in 'order of thought' as it's all barebones stuff. Also contains FULL spoilers for both Undertale and In Stars and Time so er, if you're still looking to play those/still getting through them don't read this and please play this incredible games.

Mt Ebott is located on The Island and the shattering of the Barrier brings the ability to see color back to all those on the (ISAT) surface.

Humans losing the ability to see color in ISAT was due to them/the 'wish wizards' of The Island sacrificing it (along side their seven strongest 'colour casters') in a Wish Craft ritual, naturally leading to humanity losing most of their 'colour magic' knowledge.

Undertale's 'sepia flashbacks' were all Chara's memories of how the world looked to them, BUT once in the Underground they were able to see (and remember things on the Surface) in color (hence the whole 'golden flowers' bit; it was still mostly just a cover story but Chara genuinely wished that they could see their favorite flower field as the 'gold' they realized it was rather than the 'mid tones' they saw it as on the Surface).

...The 'erasure' of the Island I'm thinking might've been accidentally poor Chara and Asriel's fault: with Chara's 'ritual' killing of themselves via buttercup taking three days to happen, Chara being from the Island insisting Asriel always give them flowers in groups of three, seven and thirteen, and an entire Underground filled with tons and tons of 'trapped' wishes from monster kind for their freedom combining with Chara's self loathing/desire to hurt those who hurt them trapping them in a loop that Just. Wouldn't. End. until Chara eventually snapped and pulled a 'May these people, this Island, EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE WHO'D EVER HURT THE MONSTERS I LOVE including me BE ERASED UNTIL THE MONSTERS ARE FREE!' and um. Welp. There went an entire nation... (also Flowey eventually remembered some of this but only after going back to being Flowey post Asriel and probably it took a while for him to sort through all that).

Which er, means in this fic, that the people of The Island and the Island itself are still 100% there but they've all spent roughly 8 years or so all blitzed out of their minds: Need to think of Chara's exact wish wording so its not just 'corpses everywhere' but very good odds the people on the Island were either running on full automatic for years or able to remember some stuff but only if they very very carefully did not think of themselves as their own countrymen/used the languages of elsewhere/were careful not to think of where they were as any actual location within their country...

...Which naturally would effect the kids by far the most as their very language is basically a brown note (bilingual types could at least swap over to a different language but likely most of The Island was rendered silent) and well, pretty hard to remember Mt Ebbot is the mountain that must not be climbed when you can't think of the locations around you by name and the adults may or may not remember the kids exist half the time so... Yeah. Cue a lot of kids climbing up the mountain due to both lack of warnings and increased chances of feeling ignored/isolated/hurt.

Aka why in Undertale we can never hear/read anything Frisk says, why the monsters outside of Flowey/Asriel never refer to Chara by name and why no one remembers Frisk's name until after the Barrier shatters: Chara's 'Wish' couldn't be broken until then.

Not sure where all the anime and high tech that's washing into the Underground is coming from but either The Island used to be a massive tech hub prior to memory erasure, a LOT of tech was lost along with the loss of color or The Island's memory erasure in the ISAT world color magitech? maybe the wizards tried to seal away more than just monsters?, or IDK maybe the Underground barrier techincally had them displaced outside of Space and Time a bit and the garbage that was washing in was from literally everywhere thanks to the Universe wanting to help them or something (side note: realizing the memory erasure from Chara may have accidentally snipped Universe worship from the monsters as well since they clearly venerate the stars also but well. That longing for the stars DID cause them pain so..).

Imagining that Siffrin and party are in Bambouche meeting Bonnie's sister (or idk, having a vacation or reunion there if you wanna give Siff a bit more recovery/'explaining his issues to his family' time) when the Barrier is broken and all the colors come rushing back. Best first sunset ever (right before the entire Surface world kinda flips out over color, and to a lesser extent those familiar with The Island start remembering more and more details as the 'curse' weakens a little with every monster leaving Mt Ebbot) followed up by Siffren and the others absolutely losing their minds over how beautiful the stars are with just a tiny bit of color to them (the stars no longer being passively pushed out of people's awareness helps).

Anyway next day the party realize they have to investigate: Partly because Siff is well, kind of losing their mind over being able to see and remember home a little, but also because W.T.F and the Island is clearly the epicenter of everything going on. ...Also Siff may remember childhood stories about colors being locked away to serve as warning for if the Monsters returned so um. That's could be a thing.

Meanwhile the Monsters are getting a MUCH warmer reception from the local humans than they ever could've imagined (accidentally saving a nation from enforced amnesia kinda does that) and are also very confused as to why no one knows who they should get in contact with for formal alliance stuff (not sure if The Island has much of a government left at this point honestly...)

Would Flowey and the ghosty Chara acompanying Frisk count as Sadnesses???

... And er, that's all I got plot/setup wise. Most of my brain energy had been spent on imagining what soul colors all the ISAT cast have and also 'What Pokemon would they all be if they ended up in a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game?' so have a list with my reasoning on that front! =D

Siffrin: Blue/Integrity - Might seem like an odd choice given his constant lying/acting but like. Given all of the memory erasure and the torture of the loops Siffrin's absolute refusal to compromise his family's happiness/safety or use the loops for literally anything not 'helping family/ending the loops' based (even when he's basically losing his mind and could really use just... Taking a loop or three to goof off or something) just screams how devoted he is to what he believes in and well, the amount he lies syncs up well with how insane he's going so yeah. Siffren is an Integrity soul who's having a really really hard time being true to himself due to all the wobbie breaking he's gone through all his life. Specifically I like to picture his soul as a very dark, deep black/blue with little pinpricks of other colored light (mostly green, red and yellow), like a tiny heart shaped starry night's sky <3 (And er, bet that soul went very 'red/bleeding sky' as he was losing it in Act 5; Determination isn't his color by nature but they were not well at that point at all).

Isabeau: Cyan/Patience - Isa is super kind and all sorts of things but what really sets him apart is just how patient he is about everything (in ways both good and bad). I like to imagine his soul looking like a blue daytime sky, maybe with the odd white cloud and yellow 'sun' dot: partly because it fits him but also partly to cutely contrast Siffrin's. *cue me humming Like Morning Follows Night from the RWBY OST because I mean. It kinda fits honestly

Mirabelle: Orange/Bravery and/or Yellow/Justice - Again another 'you might not think so' but like. Mirabelle is hella gutsy despite her anxiety and I admire her so so much (also JUSTICE BARRIER REFLECT AGAINST THE KING YAAAAGH! XD) Not super attached to it as Isa and Siff's but the orange/yellow glow of a sunset (maybe with some pink/purple along the edges to show her Perseverance <3).

Odiel: Green/Kindness - She's hella awkward about how much she cares and not the greatest at reading situations/reacting gently but like. Her sheer affection towards the others, her always watching and coming out with the bandages and how she point blank tells Siff 'nope, not angry at you nearly blowing up the world. Also you trying to do that because you love us is cute' means I can't really see her any other way~ Not sure if her soul would be dark green (for more Integrity) or more light green (for more Justice) but all in all, very very green, like light/dark speckled leaves <3

Bonnie: Purple/Perseverance - This kid endures so much so well I swear (they're also really brave so a little orange would work well too but despite everything I don't think bravery is their main characteristic). I like to think of their soul as very 'purple evening clouds with bits of brave orange gold/setting sun on the edges'.

And Loop has a White boss monster soul for reasons; thinking that in this crossover that Monsters believe that they were born from the Universe's compassion (with The Islander's myths claiming they're the result of failed/'cursed' wishes like the 'brother who can understand my suffering Wish Craft' fairytale Siff finds in the Orary room) and both Monsters and the Islanders believing Sadnesses are born from forcing a wish of cruelty/sorrow that goes against the will of the Universe (cue Chara and Flowey who probably were Sadnesses in this until the breaking of the Barrier grumbling that yeah that sounds about right and The King from ISAT proving to even more aaagh than he already was).

And yeah. I'm out of babble thoughts now so hope that this was interesting for you all and please feel free to yoink any ideas that snag your interest <3

Last Twilight Episode 10 Reaction

I wasn't even going to write my own posts of LT but this episode just delivered punch after punch! I couldn't help but comment, so–

I love to see Jimmy and Mark using their dramatic acting microexpressions attacks on my heart, i'm bleeding but I'm fascinated. Sea has grown a lot and acts so believable, I want to praise him. But damn, maybe it's because I actually remember Jimmy and Mark since Bad Buddy, the contrast is huge here. Jimmy also does that thing with the jaw that makes him look more manly and mature, none of the young and mischeivous Wai, in Vice Versa he also didn't reach this level of complexity, I think we all should bow to P'Aof & team for leading him.

I know I should be talking about Day who isn't crying while his family is devastated (he knew and was prepared and felt comfortable as long as he had Mork, they were not prepared) but I am biased... The way Night didn't even dare to touch Day when he wanted to comfort him at doctor office Т_Т And how later, at the dinner table he looked with such disbelief, and hesitantly started teasing Day as sibling again when Day reached out Т_т And how for months he felt he deserved to be silent, torn apart and uncomfortable, yelled at and judged for not taking care of his brother properly.

Noo, my heart!

But also Day and Mork, of course, the way Day bravely said "The last thing I saw in my life was his face", and Mork said "I'm sorry" and I can understand the mom going "you crossed over all lines with ny son, get out of my house", and it's probably huge red HR violation but Jimmy's big teary eyes aaaaah how could she not fold? I saw some comments on tumblr about the show not calling out her being abusive and everything, but I strongly disagree and I think it all makes sense. The strong single mom, the asian family, the unwanted oppression and self-misery that finally cracked during Christmas dinner – I could probably write my view on this in another post but who cares.

Dhskajvs I love how Porjai and Night are "patpraning" Mork and Day, like they are setting up plans to look like accidents just for two undestined lovebirds to be able to sneak out on a date from the parent who shouldn't know about it, very PatPran behavior xD Only friends are the one making it work xD

That's the face of a man giggling because he just declared himself a father and a future husband on his own (oh their mom is going to have a heart attack but who cares). "That's my child" - look at the sky, this night is so freaking green~ I'd say the real winner of that marathon was Night, Day maybe got a medal and a boyfriend but Night got a girl and a kid! xD His confidence is hot, but also I wouldn't hesitate a second as well if I saw Porjai available to be loved, I mean look at her! What a treasure.

I can't believe I was so on board and rooting for a hetero couple in a BL since the very first second but they are still going too damn strong. I love them. I shall draw a fanart.

Omg, pop-up books shout-out in a BL! First time seeing this. Okay, Day and Mork are freaking cute, I usually lose interest when characters start dating but they are so damn adorable and in their happy bubble here! Smiling and goofy Jimmy is all I need in this economy.

Master Aon is slaying on a dance floor, this actor is honestly stealing the show and I love it for him... I like how he shows being advanced and comfortable as visually impaired person in relationship with a girl that can see, the calling out and gestures and the comfort.

P'Aof and his damn heartwarming community scenes, first with MLC and now here, I knew what I walked in and still wasn't prepared for all the EmOtiOns<3

Promoting Oishii as one of the color paints is very creative but all it makes me think of is a VERY relatable situation with actual artists who put tea cup and water for paint on the same table... Yeah xD

Also, sniff kisses are so cute, fight me, westerns.

Lmao, Day even drew Jimmy's poor 5 o'clock shade above the lips fvsjakjahk I wonder which one of the staffs drew it, or was it actually Sea? No matter what, I bet this person had a lot of fun anyway :D

Okay, THERE ARE MORE SCENES THAT MAKE ME ALMOST CRY Poor Night, he was so unloved and judged in this family for a year, I will actually fight everyone to give him his own special beef stew.

He was going to distance himself out of guilt as a self punishment and feelings of 'the hero is here, the villain should vanish' supported by both people closest to him, but Day insisted he's a family and he should stay, reminding their mother of it… Oh no. So many feelings.

Again, it deserves another post. Where I talk about how Night feels like such a man, a protective adult who changed and is able and actively wants to take care of dear people, but who looks and feels like a small punished kid in his own family house. Day too, btw, but he hasn't found as much confidence as he struggles with blindness as well.

But I loved that family having fun scene. I loved it so much. That family trying out cake eating blindly was so nice, oozing of happiness. The curse of misery deserves to be broken, and the kids are the one breaking it, as usual. Mother should remember what's really important - her and her kids happiness, not control that's led by fear. But it's not easy. This is why this scene is so important, and filled with happy and relieved tears. Tbh I didn't feel like P'Aof glossed over the mother-son conflict, it's just that the narration feels... I don't wanna say more asian, it might be different from the sort of justice/revenge what some of the people wanted to see. I understand it and it hits home.

Oh I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING, P'AOF!

Something tells me in a very loud way that this operation won't go well, look at Sea's face! The scene just screams "I still can't see anything". It would be such a P'Aof type of teaser as well, give hope and then trick into the opposite. I can't imagine him actually getting his vision cured. I'll fight myself if that's what actually happens in the next episode. It's a great way to show that you should just keep enooying life instead of regretting the cure.

Steve looked into the backroom bathroom's cracked mirror and fixed his hair for the seventh time in the last thirty minutes. It was practically a ritual at this point when he was nervous. Well, maybe it'd become his lucky thing after tonight.

He brushed the hair away from his face and clicked his tongue ring pensively. From one side, his new haircut still had his usual thick brown voluminous waves with highlights that nearly brushed his shoulder. From the other side, he'd had it trimmed down into a disconnected undercut and dyed baby pink. He'd originally been planning on dying all of his hair pink and getting both sides shaved, but had chickened out. He'd still been thrilled by the outcome though.

Or at least he had loved it just this morning. But would everyone else? Had he made a mistake and fucked up one of the only good things about him-

A fist banged on the door and Robin's voice came through the door. "Come on, dingus, you're already pretty. Stop spiraling and let's go!"

Steve smiled and let her in. "Aw, Buckley, I'm pretty? Even pretty enough for you?"

Robin snorted and wrinkled her nose. "Don't push it. Now get your ass up on stage before it escapes those pants and makes a run for it. You're never going to throw those out, are you?"

Steve looked down at his worn thin jeans and yeah, maybe they were a bit tighter than usual in the ass, but their new apartment had a lot of stairs, okay! Despite it being almost more holes than pants, they were comfortable and definitely something his parents would never have let him wear when he'd still been under his dad's thumb. So of course that made them his favorite.

He turned and washed his hands once more. Robin let out a choking noise and pointed at his ass. "That's a new hole."

For a split second, Steve thought she was talking about something else until she poked at a spot on his ass not covered by the pants. There was a new hole in his jeans that showed off a not small peek of his ass and thigh. But it was low enough that Steve wasn't too worried about it.

"Buy a guy dinner first, jeez." Steve teased her.

She just slapped his ass. "Yeah, sure, I know a great little place on Easy Street called Cafe Puttana."

"Did you just call me a whore in my own mother tongue, Buckley?!" Steve gasped dramatically. "And maybe if you dressed like this more often, you'd stop having to resort to handing out free drinks to get a girl's attention." Steve hip checked her as she giggled at him and opened the door. "Now let's get this show on the road before everyone notices their favorite bartenders are both missing. My public awaits." He adjusted his pink jean vest over his Nirvana t-shirt as he stepped out, still picking, still-

"Your 'public' is a bunch of drunks, punks, burnouts, and half dead partiers." Robin hugged him from behind just before they got to the stage in the bar. "So don't let the nerves get you. Just have fun and sing me a song, piano man."

That got a genuine laugh out of him. "I'm no Billy Joel, but I'll see what I can do, uptown girl."

Robin went up on stage to announce him. She hyped him up as best she could given her audience and got a not too bad round of applause. Steve wasn't expecting much, this was a gig he'd just gotten only because he worked at the bar and the band that had been scheduled to play had canceled. He usually worked as their bartender and he was good at it. He probably wouldn't have gotten either job if Robin hadn't stepped up to bat for him.

Steve practiced his breathing exercises as the players they could find on such short notice got ready. He stepped up on stage, gave a friendly wave to the regulars who recognized and cheered for him.

He took a seat at the piano he'd had to tune himself before the show because it got so little use.

"Hey, you bunch of vagrants and drains on society." His words were met with proud hoots and hollers. "It's me, Steve, your favorite bartender." This was met with a loud boo from the bar, Robin playfully heckling him.

"That bunch of assholes the boss hired canceled, yeah, I know. So you get me instead, aren't you lucky? Usually you have to buy a drink to get to listen to my dulcet tones." Steve grinned as the crowd booed, whistled, and catcalled. "So enjoy the music, I wrote it myself. Yeah, that's right, fuck you, I have layers. Or if you don't like it, just shut the fuck up and enjoy the view you bunch of pervs." More catcalls.

Steve signaled the players and waited a moment, waiting for his cue, as they played the intro. They weren't bad for only two days of practice.

Steve blinked his eyes open when he felt a bit of an echo- no, there were people singing along. He recognized Robin's off key voice and smiled. Steve sang out the lyrics with his whole chest.

For an embarrassing moment, Steve thought he might fucking cry at the roars from the bar. Yeah, it was a few dozen regulars, drunkards, and partiers blitzed out of their minds, but it was leagues above his self doubt's worst case scenario. He had to swallow hard more than once before he felt confident enough to talk into the mic again. 

"See, that wasn't so bad, was it, you assholes?" Steve knew he was probably smiling like an idiot, but it was hard to care. "Give a hand to the band, they had like two days to fucking practice my crap, holy shit."

The bar clapped and yelled for them. The band looked pleased with the positive attention and a few waved back. One flipped off the audience much to their delight.

"Now, the rest of the songs are covers, the good shit, I promise." Steve announced. "So spend your fucking money, don't forget to tip, and enjoy."

They ended up playing some Nirvana, a little The Clash of course, Dead Kennedys, Siouxsie and the Banshees, through in a Motley Crüe song, and topped it off with his beloved Queen.

To Steve's honest surprise and giddiness, there was a demand for an encore of Beggar's Song. He led them through it one more time before ending for the night. Closing time was in less than an hour and he wanted to help Robin out with last call.

They got a decent amount of tips that he let the band take the lion's share of, but still got a sweet fifteen bucks on top of the thirty his boss had already paid him. He'd be able to buy some pretty good food for him and Robin this month.

The backstory is Robin and Steve moved together somewhere after Robin got kicked out for coming out to her parents.

Maybe she stayed with Steve until her parents told his parents and they called to tell him to send her home, whatever. Robin and Steve decided to strip whatever they could from the house, sell it, sneak into her room while her parents were gone to pack, and they rode off into the sunset. 

Now they have a shitty apartment, jobs at a shitty bar, and they've never been happier. ❤

I have plans to bring Billy and Eddie into it later.

You don't have to answer this but I wanted to let you know you got me super invested in SunxEclipse stuff.

The way they are in the show has always intrigued me. Like the way those two interacted had always felt different in a way??? And I'd always get all excited when I found little similarities between the two characters.

Rambling a bit but does anyone remember how in the Halloween takeover Eclipse forced Moon to go through the same pain Sun went through when they shared a body? And he just left Sun to chill and nap in his own mind??? (Probably the longest break Sun's ever had btw akskdh) LIKE WHAT HELLO???

And there were plenty of times Eclipse could have just killed Sun but. Didn't? Like when he got into SolarFlare's body. And when Sun destroyed Moon's magic circles, Eclipse explained to Sun how he could fix the problem instead of just letting him walk into the raw magic and tear himself apart? (Think that was the longest and calmest convo they ever had lmao)

The fuckinggg. Symbolic base Eclipse had on the surface of the sun.

Alot more I could say (especially about how similar Sun acts like Eclipse in manyyy instances) but very eepy almost midnight.

Anyway I like SunxEclipse. Would never admit that off anon tho because the world is. Very mean. Sometimes. :/

At this point in show lore, Sun is the one who knows Eclipse the most. So who knows where we'll go with that.

And yeah... Forcing Moon to go through the same pain that Sun experienced when sharing a body.... I mean, sure. It was probably to get Moon to suffer. But that also feels so vengeful and purposeful.

It was also worth noting in the early introduction of Eclipse, when he was in Sun's head and leaking out during intense moments of Gameplay Videos. (and I still stand by that Eclipse was the one who said "Chillapachino" that one time and was enjoying being Silly with Sun.)

But whenever Eclipse took over in gameplay, he was always a little more angry.... Sure... But like.... He was also way more assertive, and tended to stand up to Moon more. Something that EARLY Sun didn't really do all that much.

Maybe I'm misremembering, but I think he threatened to take away Moon's whacking stick at one point as well. But I might have imagined that and that might not have been a legit thing.

Not to mention GodEclipse kept Sun around of all people. He even killed Lunar in that dimension, but he thought Sun was worthy to live. He even wiped his memories so he wouldn't suffer too much. Even when we see GodEclipse he says "My Sun is dead" His Sun. Not like... "that nuisance" or "idiot" is dead... His Sun.

And Remember, GodEclipse is not TOO Much a Diversion from the timeline.

The only difference is that he won the fight with Bloodmoon and got the Star shortly after then. And he wiped everyone like he said he would, unlike Eclipse 2.0 who got upset cus Old Moon died and he had no one to monologue about his hate boner to.

Eclipse also in early episodes didn't really include Sun much in his evil Plans. His vendetta and focus was solely on Moon. Sun just kinda got twisted up in a lot of it due to circumstance and him being trapped in Sun's head.

But yeah... Lunar says that he knows Moon better than anyone cus he lived in Old Moon's head.

That goes both ways.

Eclipse and Sun know each other better then anyone at this point.

If there is someone to give Eclipse a chance, I hope it's Sun.

I feel Sun would be a hypocrite if he tries with Bloodmoon and doesn't with Eclipse.

But I guess we'll see.

I think I will answer once again for both of my lads :3 As usual let's start with Satien.

Satien is a bit tricky with this question, mostly because he doesn't usually let people close enough to get him angry. By no means am I saying that you can't get him angry, you certainly can! But it takes a very deliberate approach to do so and you need to know where to aim to get him to a visible irritated state.

And oh boy, if you did, you better back off.

You probably have encountered people where you though 'Oh, if a look could kill, I would be dead right now', that's Satien xD And I quite literally mean it. Most people didn't dare to push further after that, however, if you do. You gonna kiss the floor very quickly. There has only been a few of such situations, one of such was with a fellow adventurer who wouldn't take 'No' for constantly crossing his boundaries and thus endangering people.

Mind you, Satien isn't someone who slaps or punches people - he doesn't. But he knows how to disarm people well. Or make them look like a total fool.

Generally Satien doesn't explode or gets loud at all, it's like this one well aimed 'putting them in place' and then back to calm. Pretty much moving on with his life and the never ending tasks, heh.

Now lets take a look at Reah...

Now, Reah, has a whole different level of temper, haha. He is way more fiery and emotional than Satien is, way less restricted and thus more explosive.

But that also has multiple reasons, V'reeah's character was broken over and over again in torture. His boundaries crossed and tossed out of the window, his pride shattered and treated like he was a wild animal. A savage. Thus did he make a few connections which weren't quite correct, the feeling of authority for him is suffocating. He will go against this feeling and try to 'break free', he will refuse to follow another's lead and oppose them whenever he gets a chance to. While actively trying to slip out of the 'leash'.

So, now imagine this person being in 'debt' to another person... Or following a schedule which was set up by another person... Yeah, fun times. Luckily, said person, wasn't impressed at all the fiery feed back and explosive behavior.

Heh, so as you can see, Reah can fire himself up very quickly and will pout and make his protests quite visible.

This was the first pic of him I ever took in Photomode where you could actually see his face XD I had taken scenic pics mostly until then, or him just standing somewhere and looking into the distance. I remember that it felt weird to take pics of him at first... I figure, since it's a first person game and you don't really see your character's face up close that much, it was always like "uh, hello sir, sorry for approaching so closely" initially xD he felt a little bit like a stranger. Glad I'm over that now :D

Idk there is just something about it that really... captured his essence in a sense and the brainrot started XD Little cocky bastard coming into his own finally but still has to hype himself up in front of the bathroom mirror bc on the inside he's just a scared kid really xD And that hasn't changed until now - yeah I can say with relative confidence that his personality did not change much, just became more well-rounded over the months, he has a very well-developed backstory now, and I keep getting to know him better and better as I'm slowly going through my second playthrough xD

He's still an edgy bastard, but he got his tattoos upgraded to something fitting his vibes better :3 His fashion sense is still soemthing that stands out, even more so now than it used to! That is probably the biggest change from that early shot, his wardrobe fitting his corpo background and personality more (cause first time around I was so caught up in story stuff and didn't really know yet what options there were in terms of clothing and styles... so I just put him in that random Wraiths jacket for a large part of my first playthrough xD I still like that style of jacket a lot, and him just running around shirtless under his coats and jackets bc gotta show off those tats :3).

I am very very happy with his looks and as of right now I'm not really planning on changing anything big about his physical appearance. He is and always was (and always will be) equipped with very little cyberware, he has tattoos that fit him now (although I might expand on them in the future for a potential post-2077 appearance). I still wanna do an updated wardrobe post and mod him some custom top surgery scars, but I liked him a lot from the start and feel like if I changed him too much it wouldn't be my Vince anymore xD

Do rayman and lex have children? and if not, do they ever plan on it?

OH, BOY. this is a fun one, because...

I've never wanted kids. it's never spoken to me and I probably wouldn't make a great parent. not putting myself down, just an objective fact. I'm not interested in it. and I can imagine ray would feel similarly. if we want to take care of kids, we're always free to babysit globox and uglette's lil rascals 😆

HOWEVER, that has NOT stopped my mind from making me have dreams at night about us having a kid... so... consider that a Certified Raylex AU/Spinoff.

I haven't drawn him yet, but his name is atlas! because my brain said that's his name and I said oh okay. I didn't even get to decide 😂

he's half stargazer, half... whatever rayman is, haha. the lil guy takes after lex juuust a little bit; he's got underdeveloped antennae, though they're never going to fully develop, they won't grow out like lex's. they're more like little nubs. but other than that, he doesn't get any Cool Alien Features, lmao. he has no tail, and he's not going to be able to grow wings, either. he DOES, however, have colorful glowing markings all over his skin! almost like cool bioluminescent freckles.

he's VERY cheeky and loves to poke fun (definitely got part of his personality from rayman… lol). he can be kinda rude at times… he'll learn though. maybe. he can and will pull off pranks on literally anyone and everyone (not even polokus is safe). I don't know why, but I also kind of have a strong urge to make him, like, a skater kid? XD he's 2cool4school or something.

I have yet to draw him but this has been brewing in my head for a few months! maybe I will one day.

and yeah, inhabitants of the glade can't conceive normally, there was alot of magical bullshittery involved as well as help from polokus because, y'know, he's, like, GOD. either way, atlas is sort of their biological offspring in that regard? I'm OBVIOUSLY not going to go into details on this blog for very obvious reasons but all you need to know is ✨magic✨ hahah!

AGAIN THOUGH. this is not Canon to the Raylex Timeline(tm). we are very fine having our little 'family' just be us two ❤️ but in a "what if" scenario, you get atlas!

It sucks that Sonic Boom isn't being renewed because they could find some way to incorporate Sage. And Boom Eggman being the softie he is would praise her for even the smallest thing. I can see him actually being a kind of good dad in contrast to Mainline Eggman being just awful as a father.

Boom Eggman is the only version of Eggman I'd accept to be any modicum of a good dad. Making sure his daughter is well taken care of while also being her teacher in the art of evil. Being proud of her for every small act of evil. She could even screw him over once and he'd be like "that's so evil! That's my girl!"

That's just my take on it tho. I like the contrast between canon and boom Eggman.

Yeah I think the most popular but the canon divergent fanon version of Eggdad and Sage now would work perfectly fine with Boom Eggman, he's set up well for some version of Sage to be introduced to him.

Boom Egg isn't so bad, he's actually known to be lonely and want friends and family with his desires to befriend Sonic and co and what he had going on with Morpho and Mombot and such. Basically all the things people would like game Eggman to be, fully possible without malicious intentions or ulterior motives and more depth than modern Egg's shallow perception.

Plus I think the guy who has managed to have some genuine and friendly moments with Sonic and also managed to be concerned with the well being of a child like Beth the shrew and stuff would make a better father than the one who is always trying to kill kids in terrible ways and has very shallow self-centered and selfishly beneficial ways of caring about his creations at all lol

Boom Egg would enjoy having someone to teach evil who's genuinely enthusiastic without having to make them eat evil cookies if she had the same loyalty she does to modern Egg. She could please him much easier and he'd probably gush over her evil and emphasize it a lot fondly like how much he does with himself in the show.

I can definitely see him being so attached and proud of her that he'd react like that to anything evil she does even it were against him or at his expense in any way because he'd just think it further proves her greatness and how impressive it is. XD Depending on what abilities she has in the Boom verse she'd be one of his significantly greater creations.

She probably wouldn't be as big of a threat just like Boom Eggman isn't as much as modern but she'd especially be much higher up on the list than the majority of his other creations, which he'd appreciate her highly for. But also for the way she can feel like family to him and he could get the company and care from her that he's always not very secretly desired going by other bonds he's made.

I enjoy looking into and embracing vast differences between modern and Boom Eggman in personality and interactions, it's pretty interesting and fun. If Boom still existed and a version of the dynamic could've existed like that officially then everyone could've been happy and gotten what they personally wanted out of the character and father daughter dynamic.

(Probably unpopular opinion for you but idk): I know that Prince Hans does not "deserve" a redemption arc and will probably not get one in Frozen 3 or 4. But I can't help but hope for one anyway. Sorry not sorry.

Anon, I can tell you weren't following my blog after Frozen was released XD

I see Hans as a complex character, not just a greedy villain, so yeah. I really hope to see him getting redeemed!... just hoping Elsa is not the one to redeem him, otherwise I'd flip a table ffs. We barely know anything about him, it'd be great to learn more about the Southern Isles and the Royals there. We only know Hans is the last of 13 kids, and that 2 of his brothers pretended he didn't exist. For. Two. Years. Talk about a messed-up family! While it doesn't excuse his actions, it's no wonder he was desperate to get away and became twisted himself. And Hans getting redemption doesn't mean he has to be friends with everyone or live in Arendelle, it can be Anna getting closure for what happened and then she reaches out to help him and end it on the two saying goodbye with a smile, each going to live their own life. There is a wonderful fanfiction that I recommend: Based on a True Lie which does a very good Hans redemption (in a way) and where Anna is really the main heroine <3

I honestly feel like Hans was done dirty and handled poorly, even as a villain. I wouldn't have minded him being a villain if the movie had done it well, Hans being a twisted villain could have been very good, but honestly? Every time I re-watch Frozen, I think "Nope, still not buying it."

Watch Toy Story 2 and there, you have a very good twisted villain! At first watch, there is little chance you'd suspect Stinky Pete to be a bad guy; but when you rewatch it, you can see the foreshadowings and little hints of his manipulation of both Jessie and Woody (even if I personally believe he did care about Jessie, at some point) to get what he wanted.

Why am I not convinced about Hans being "Evil", before his "reveal"?

One: after the meet-cute scene with Anna

This looks way too genuine, and he had no reason to fake it, no one was looking! And don't use the "red herring" excuse, it's not good either. They could - no SHOULD - have cut the scene the moment he fell into the water if Hans was meant to be just a greedy bad guy.

Two: there are no real signs (read "red flags") of manipulation in his speech and actions.

They're vague and a stretch at best, like the line "'Cause, like, I've been searchin' my whole life to find my own place" Many Disney protags have used similar lines and were looking for a place where they felt they belonged (Belle, Ariel, Hercules, Quasimodo, Aladdin...). Honestly, it's more that he adapts to the situation (that he has no control over btw).

He's not the one to push Elsa to reveal her powers, the two sisters were arguing and both were at the end of their own rope. No one knew Elsa had powers.

He doesn't manipulate Anna to push her to go after Elsa and give him control of Arendelle; Anna makes the decision on her own, he even tries to stop her or says that he should go with her, but she's the one to ask him to watch over Arendelle while she's on her journey.

The candlestick falling on Elsa was an accident! I don't care what everyone says, given how fast it happened, Hans couldn't have aimed so precisely. Hans glancing up is once again too vague, he might have been checking for a place where he could deviate the arrow without hurting anyone but he had no time. Plus, I don't know for you, but I saw plenty of people glancing up as they think/before they act (and do so too sometimes) for no real reason. Light argument at best.

At most, you can argue he lied to seduce Anna.

And honestly? Revealing his evil plan this way is just so dumb! I get that many villains tend to monologue too much for their own good because they're overconfident and when they believe they've already won, but here? It's stupid and too risky, a good manipulative villain wouldn't have revealed himself at that moment in my opinion. Either you make him a master manipulator, or you just make him a puny opportunist, you can't have both; and either way, he should have acted way differently before the reveal. No wonder so many fans (myself included) had a theory that the Trolls were the ones who messed him up with their magic "Get the fiancé out of the way and the whole thing will be fixed" so their champion (Kristoff) would get the girl.

As for Papyrus.. its complicated.

Papyrus had accepted long ago that Sans and all his friends were gone. And that he was never going to see them again.. It really hurt. And it took him a very long time to accept that fact. But he did. He knows in his soul that his true brother is gone..

That didn't make seeing "Sans" again any less painful though. He probably saw a Sans through the trees in a new Snowdin. Man, I cant imagine how he felt.

The whole multiverse thing was explained to him by Frisk. He knows that's not his Sans. He knows its not him. But gosh. Its been so long since he's seen his brothers smile. What he would give to hear one of his silly puns again. What he would give to hear his voice.. to just.. to hug him one last time..

Frisk would grab Papyrus' hand, "Papyrus.. we need to go.. please, common.."

Seeing the other Papyrus walk into view and begin talking to that Sans.. He recollects himself. Its not him. Sans is gone. He's been gone for a very long time..

With tears streaming down his face, he would find the strength to grip Frisk's hand.. and turn away.

It never gets easier..

I didn't intend to ever draw Frank and Eddie in a romantic light.. becuase yeah like you said, I just don't really like ships. Or honestly any romantic content that isn't my own OCs. Idk I just don't really enjoy drawing it--

But that's kind'a what I feared about the Welcome Home fandom if I'm being honest. I felt like people were really protective over Eddie and Frank. And if I revealed that I wasn't interested in drawing them as an item, canon or not? I felt like I would get a loooot of backlash.

Well the strongest would be Blue Beauty by far- but looking at the smaller cookies? I think Seafoam is probably the strongest. But that's mostly due to him being so big. He's the biggest cookie on the crew and most of his strength just comes from packing more weight to his punch.

Though another toughy on the ship would be Louis. He may not be very big. But boy that crab arm? He has a grip strong enough to break cookies in half. And enough upper body strength to take your pieces and chuck em overboard--- 💀💀💀I wouldn't mess with either of them tbh--

As for the bounty.. that's a good question. :0 I wanna say Seafoam because he's the Captain an all.. but I really like the idea of Cuttlefish having this dark past and a surprisingly huge bounty over her head- 👀👀

Its a very interesting prompt. Usually we think of Captain Barnacles as very level headed and calm. He seems like one to bounce back from any situation and keep leading the team no problem. But man. After something like that? That's gotta scare him to his core.

I can see Barnacles being more tense and not wanting any of the crew to stray too far from him or the Octopod. I can imagine that he would give Kwazii a lot of time to recover, a lot more than he actually needs. And maybe even going as far to forbid him from going on certain missions.

But after a little time and maybe a talk with Kwazii. I'm sure both Kwazii and the Captain would recover from the experience and continue on as normal.

Gabriel - I feel Fessor would be very much drawn to the Lonely given his childhood, who he grew up being different, his issues with his father. I think he'd both serve and fear it, like the Lonely would totally try seeking him out. He doesn't have many friends at Davenport and even his time with Michael he was seen as his "odd boyfriend". I know the Lonely is an anecdote for depression and I bet espc after Michael broke his heart, Gabriel would have either been consumed by it or become an Avatar had Liam not been there. Eye would be another, he's definitely marked by it being a professor, a bookworm and loves learning but Lonely in the end would beat it out.

Liam - He'd totally serve the Vast. As close to agoraphobic as he is, his issue is mostly with people, he likes being outside by himself (or with Gabriel) with no one around, he loves the water. I mean he's also my own projection and I serve the Vast XD But yeah wide open spaces are for him, plus he does like roller coasters! So he'd fear the Buried but not in a normal claustrophobic way, he hate being crushed by people around him, being put in social situations he can't escape. That kind of buried feeling. Also Corruption a bit only cuz Liam is a clean freak. It's something I could see begin to push him in obsession if it wanted to consume him. Let's also throw End in here given how much his dad's death affected him.

Aiden - I think they're very Web. Not saying he's a manipulator but they like being in control, being the center of attention. She can work a room like no one else. Aiden wants all eyes on them and everyone eating out of their palm. So yeah Web XD Would totally fear the Corruption, mostly the dirt/disgust side, I mean he has an image to uphold, no messy runways, no dirt or grime! He's obv not a clean freak but image is very important and anything to spoil that they wouldn't like.

Barrett- Given he's a lawyer, probably would serve the Eye, since lawyers generally need to know a lot of information and just being able to "know" it would save a lot of time XD. God I'm not sure what'd he'd fear cuz I'm nearly positive once in an ask I said what his fears was/were and I can't find it so I dont know if I imagined it or not XD For the sake of this I'd probably say Web (which is funny considering Aiden) because it is a loss of control and he's my type A, workaholic so loosing control of something would be a fear of his, being manipulated, etc. So weird that I picked those for Aiden and Barrett XD

Colin - my germaphobe totally fears the Corruption XD I mean do I have explain why? He's got an immune system worse then Gabriel and Ambrose's, has a cleaning service, boxes of tissues everywhere and rules for River to adhere too XD He's not gonna do well around anything dirty or illness spreading. As for serve, as a joke since he's a food critic Id say Flesh but lets not go there XD Honestly for Colin I cant really think of one he'd outright serve, I think he'd be consumed than serve.

River - ok this is a toughy.... possibly Eye cause he likes to read and gain knowledge but not enough where he'd be compelled to do it. God maybe River would be like Smirke and Leitner who dance around the Fears but never is taken by one XD Or he's Joshua Gillespie and just doesn't notice. Yes I like that for him XD

Noll - HA oh man, this one is gonna be fun. Alcohol is his crutch so he's very Web, he needs that control over him. MAG 172 with Francis is like the perfect example of Noll. Except he doesn't try to do better. He'd definitely serve it as long as it provided him bourbon. A healthy pairing of serving and fear. Also he'd probably fear the Spiral, only cuz so much has happened to him and epsc when you're drunk you can't always trust what you see. Lonely fits in there too and Stranger, he's definitely marked by it. He's several fears in jeans and a tshirt XD

Ren - He 100% fears the Desolation. I mean a fire burned down his family's gallery and permanently damaged his lungs. He has a very healthy fear of fire and who can blame him? Honestly next to Colin his fear was probably the easiest to determine. As for serving, I'd say either Eye or Web. He's smart, quite manipulative (good god is this a theme in my OCs???), wants to impress the right people, definitely doesn't want his secrets known to others. Eye and Web can fight over him.

Ya bet she does. Actually, it's something I wanted to talk about for a pretty long time now, but sorta well... Never did xd.

Her main hobbies are learning transfiguration spells, listening to music and making attempts at trying to solve conflicts and issues of other people. But I think she also likes going for walk and reading cheesy novels from time to time although I wouldn't call those her hobbies :"D

But I kinda wanna touch on why she loves transfiguration so much.

I always imagined Melly as someone who had fascination with magic. Especially from a technical approach. As in, she finds it super interesting how magic is produced in the first place and how it's capable of doing the things it does. Even though she was familiar with magic throughout her whole life, unlike many of her peers, this very thing she's used to since she was little is exactly what's most interesting to her. Girl can read through spell books for ages, just to learn how to do certain spells(without actually casting them tho).

So, as of late, I figured that given how she's really interested in nature of magic and it's technicality, the branch of magic she would love most would be transfigurations, the more "scientific" form of magic.

"Haha cuz she's metamorphmagus". Yeah exactly! She was always fascinated by how, unlike me many other people, she was able to transform parts of her body, having an ability to pretty much be able to even camouflage or take on appearance of someone else, which is something she had always practiced and loved doing since she was little. But she also wanted to do the same for other objects too: changing molecular structure of an object and transform an object into something completely different or even into something with life? Holy shit, that's so awesome!

But thing is, transfigurations are notoriously not the easiest to master and Melly, who never says no to a chance to practice them, knows that better than anyone, especially given her terrible luck: does she backfire constantly? Oh fuck yeahyeah. Did it backfire so much to the point she had injured herself and ended up at Hospital Wing? Ya bet! But she never gives up. She will redo the same spell all over again, even if it often goes wrong, even if it takes her days, not until she'll learn or even master it. So her efficiency in them comes from her hard work and constant practice. And well, her enjoyment of it, of course. Same can't be said for subjects she doesn't like //cough/ DADA //cough/

❤️ - What is one of your OC’s best memories?

First thing that comes to my mind is probably her receiving a letter from Hogwarts and well, arriving at it for the first time.

But I also feel like it would be worth mentioning her memories about spending time with her family during Christmas holidays. As much as her relationship with her parents wasn't the best, the moments she spent with them, the family dinners, drinking (at that time) non alcoholic butterbeer, the presents, the shopping around the city centre, it's all just magical.

But unfortunately these memories don't bring her the same amount of joy, despite being arguably her happiest/best ones.

Kelp's the guy who's no fun at parties. He will join for a bit, talk about geopolitics, then sit in the corner nursing his drink and then he'll probably be gone without saying goodbye. If you're not paying attention it's easy to miss the fact he was the one to book the bar (or maybe he got someone else to make the call, but still) and tell everyone to come. He's also the friend who connects people. "Oh, you like that thing? Come over here, let me introduce you to this other person who also likes that." He's serious and can get the group back on track if they have a shared goal, and he's more than willing to request ideas and coordinate planning, make decisions and get the group going. He tends to observe everyone's strengths, drives and fears, and he tries to get to know everyone well. He's very willing to ask for help from the group, and equally ready to offer his hand. He's more likely to spend hours talking to his friends one-on-one than in gatherings. Anyone messes with him and there's probably people in the group who'd see red (on his behalf) much faster than him.

🍎: Do they share any features or traits with any family members?

Yeah! Jax found a really cool token for his dad, I loved it! And from that, you can see Rhod has his dad's red kelp hair. Alaria also had the same hair. Probably same eyecolor too. And I think both him and Alaria were raised dutiful as fuck, so yeah, they shared that. But Kelp probably takes after his mother's heigtht cuz his dad looked tall!! xD

🍰: What's something your OC counts as unforgivable?

On the individual level, nothing he could ever set in stone without context. But in a broader sense, the conscious and deliberate maintenance of parasitic structures of power and oppression by self-aggrandizing, wealth-accumulating states. And a state's disregard for its people's wellbeing as a whole. Also, forgiving is not the same as exempting from punishment or corrective action. I mean, is anyone surprised? XD

:thinkies: He probably has a silly pet peeve like, the way people prepare red seabream in Cyana (and Blade Hold) might piss him off bc obviously that's just wrong (and the rest of Pyrifera are the ones who know how to prepare it right). Like, "they add syrup to their acai" type of pet peeve. XD

You know, rethinking about Shin after his timeleap, he has escaped few delicate situations during his only week before the…incident.

1) This Shin didn't know who was Inupi. Can you imagine how it would have been painful for Seishu if he wasn't in reform school at this point and if he came visiting him?

Or if the "incident" never happened and that he lived? Inupi comes out of reform school and Shin isn't here (or worse stopped to visit him without reason?)? And Shin doesn't recognize him? What? He would feel so much rejected. Well Wakasa would have spoke about him to Shin but it wouldn't have given the memories of little Inupi to Shin.

(Koko, after have learn from Inupi (who wasn't in tears, nope) that Shin acts like if he was a stranger:….This fucker *boss music*)

2) Izana. The question is "Was OG!Shin aware of Izana's existance?" I guess that Emma may have spoke about him (like in canon, it's probably her who spoke about her big brother Izana to Shin). If he knew, it sadely means that he has either decided to not met him because of Mikey's accident or worse abandonned him/stopped to visit him without a word, still because of the accident.

In the new timeliene, the fight between Izana and Shin under the rain was probably before Izana create the 8th gen of the BD or just after (he has the same haircut). It was before the 9th gen anyway, so before Toman's creation and so a lot before Mikey's birthday.

3) In a week, Shin must have learn a lot of things (lucky him he was still good to repear bikes XD) but not everything. He has not seen Baji for exemple and barely recognized him (Baji was so different of the rebel kid that he left in his og!timeline XD). And even learning things doesn't give back the memories.

It's kinda sad to think that the Shin that we see in ALL flashbacks (except Senju's flashback and BajiTora's flashback where it's the OG!Shin) and that we grow to love, that Inupi admired, that Izana loved, isn't the one who died that night. The one who helped and let Inupi come in his store, the one who tried to take Izana in the family, ect…vanished when OG!Shin take over.

Especially that timeleapers have not all the memories of the past. Takemichi had some "flashbacks" of Valhalla fight (the vision of Baji and Kazutora dead + Mikey being sad) but not the full view. Even after have spent 3 months in Bonten Present, Takemichi didn't have any memories of the 12 previous years, only the ones from his own original timeline. So Shin didn't have any memories in 1 week, for sure.

I love both of the Shins, and OG!Shin broke my heart because he didn't deserve to lose his whole family. But it also break my heart to think that he has erased the other Shin existence, like Takemichi erased his past self when he returned to his present.

The Shin in the Reset Timeline was probably closer of the Shin who was in all the timelines that Takemichi knew since he got the power than of the OG!One. Because you know, the OG!One was very much broken and traumatised. (I can't believe that he thought it was ok to give a such dangerous power to a 11 years old :/) (ok it's a good things that he did it, since Takemichi saved Mikey but still)

Yeah, Shin was a character with so much potential and so interesting and so important to a lot of characters and the plot itself

1) yeah, I was so sad for Inupi when I realized that the Shin that died didn’t know Inupi 😭 I hope Inupi for some reason didn’t have time to go the shop that week for some reason, because it would have been so sad for him to see that his hero.. almost didn’t recognize him 😔of course Shin would have tried to “act natural” but of course he couldn’t know everything!

2)Izana: the thing was Izana has never been very clear also with the Shin we see in Izana ‘s flash back, I guess, as you said, if OG!TL Shin knew Izana at all. Probably he did, Emma would have talked to him anyway before Mikey’s accident, but I guess that in the end, Shin had to decide between his own brother Mikey and a kid he probably didn’t even know where he was. He probably was so desperate that he didn’t really consider Izana in the OG timeline, as sad as may sound :(

3)yes another thing I didn’t really appreciate about the writing was the inconsistency about the time travel and the fact Wakui never gave some precise rules. I didn’t want nor expected a manual, but some more consistent would have been nice. Time travelers apparently don’t remember what happen in the “fixed” TL they end up after changing the past, so shin probably had to “catch up” on his own on various things.

But the Takemichi conveniently remembers, as you said, flashbacks from Valhalla, in the last arc he can “see the future” briefly before something happens, but in the 3 months he stays in Bonten TL he didn’t remember (apparently, Wakui never said anything on that. Does it mean he would have remembered but he needed more time? Or that memories never come back, but sometimes flashbacks happen? Wakui was never consistent on that)

Of course Shin didn’t know a lot of things about the new TL he ended up in.

I love both OG!Shin and the one we see in flash back.

OG shin is so much darker and edgier as a character than the “cool big bro/loser hero” all the other characters knew. OG shin was desperate, he felt guilty, killed a man, he killed himself in front of Haru(poor Haru, no wonder he was so fucked up) and gave a power so dangerous to a child , Takemichi, he didn’t even know, wtf 🤣 ( in a story, I can tolerate murder, but not narrative scenes that make no sense lol. Okay, it was necessary to link Takemichi and the whole story and make it a full circle, but as an adult, it wasn’t a very smart decision to leave such power to a random child lol).

Anyway OG Shin was very interesting but I guess that Wakui was already at his limit and in burn out as he basically confirmed in his last interview, so yeah, I guess it can’t be helped

The shin we see in other characters flashback as you said , is of course in a better place, mentally, than his OG counterpart, even if he had his problems (his dad cheating and dying young, finding out he had a half sister , his mom dying young as well), but he was so charismatic that he created a better place for so many people around him. Reset TL shin is probably very similar to the shin all these characters knew as you said

I love both Shins as well, at his core he’s always very selfless and ready to help, but in the OG timeline he was so much more desperate and desperation brought him to walk a very dangerous path

You know, I was thinking about how Kairi was a little bit of a tomboy in KH1, and how in the later games she became more feminine over time. And I'm probably overthinking things, but I think part of the reason was that up until the events of KH1 she probably spent most of her time with Sora and Riku. Later when she was separated from them it seems she spent more time with her female friends, or at least Selphie. Again, I could be overthinking this.

Hmm, maybe? Or to me, she's really just the same—it's more that as the games she's involved in go on, we get more opportunity to see her character growth and personality spectrum. Just more as we get more.

In KH1, we get she works well in her friendship with two males, not only counting them off to race, but even joins them (though is too slow). She spends her time making trinkets, which according to Terra, is a "girly" thing to do. XD She dresses with feminine attributes, and I wouldn't exactly say her personality is "masculine" or anything. She has a strong will and courage to protect, as shown in Sora's "death" scene and when she covers him from other Heartless. She even wanted to join Sora for the final bout in the Final World. Romance-wise, she straight up sees that Sora drew the Paopu Fruit. We wish we could've gotten more out of her, but it was a foundation for everything that follows.

Her being more involved = more of the above, essentially. More of what we already know.

We see she still has that same courage and desire to be involved—in KH2 she takes this more into her own hands as she goes to look for Sora. Literally goes into a weird, Dark Corridor, which even Axel commends her for having the guts to do. She jumps off a ledge and doesn't even break her ankle, kicks Heartless butt, gets a Keyblade, has a very nice interaction with Riku, with Namine and the Twilight trio, and if circumstantially she and everyone else [besides Sora and Riku] weren't separated, she'd been wanting to square up with Xemnas too at the end. XD We get just a small taste of "adventure" Kairi.

Feminine-wise, yeah she let her hair grow out (which I believe long hair is typically thought of as more "feminine" by people??), and she's still wearing a skirt—so really still roughly the same. Except now instead of just another trinket, we see she wrote that letter for Sora + is completely unfazed by the idea of being "the girl he likes" and that her journey to find him is a "romantic/wonderful story". lol Not to mention that conversation with Roxas and Namine—"We'll be together every day". Of course romance isn't REALLY just a feminine thing, but we could say the writing has it more direct than it was in the first game.

And then in KH3, well, same principle. She's the same, but just more opportunity...eh kind of. We REALLY should've gotten more from her training with Lea/Axel, I honestly was looking forward to that being it's own segment where we could play as her, similar to what we did for Riku. Could've saved it even for just one time, like what Kairi was talking about with her and Lea/Axel "meeting in the ring" as they were apparently going to spar each other. It's great that this was made up for in Re:Mind playable-wise, AND in MoM, that she got her VERY OWN action cutscene in her skirmish with Xehanort—a full on 1vs1 battle cutscene. KAIRI has one. That's pretty sweet. But still, that training segment still would've been great.

Now we know she's going to be training even more, BUT she's also going to be with Aqua, someone who also is designed to be a very feminine, strong character. If the games take from the novel, maybe the game (or the inevitable novel) will show Aqua showing Kairi how to bake, and even better ways to make the trinket charms (sorry Kairi, but Aqua's have a little more quality lol).
