Hey CTR! No need to post if this will further any issues 🤭 but I wanted to share.

I’m the anon who asked about the door & statue. I get you about the can of worms, but my mind didn’t even go there. It doesn’t have to be linked to anyone and imo isn’t linked to anyone. Just cos there is a link doesn’t mean it is connected.

But there is a beautiful story and message behind the statue. Immediate thoughts were that something so beautiful can be restored with love and care. And cos its so old and valuable it MUST be and deserves to be restored to its former glory. Given new life. Beauty in the breakdown, so let go. Again, please do not connect my ideas to some internet “ship.” When I have time today I’ll read about the statue and maybe Ephesus cos of its rich history.

These stories matter and that’s how we share our lives. I saw there is a statue of Sappho, too? So, in the same breath, the other side of the fandom should be able to look at HER story and not be blinded by the fact that she was a gay woman. Life, stories and experiences should transcend these things that blind us.

I will add that this installation is so interesting and original. People visiting and picking apart the bits they find interesting. Connected with that mv teaser I see a very interesting vision for all of this!
