Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.

Today's Word With Joel and Victoria Osteen - How You You Handle The Blessing
Today’s Scripture
1 Peter 3:9, NLT
Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.
Today’s Word
God’s favor on your life means that He will release greater blessings, greater influence, and greater resources. But you have to realize that as others…

1. “Praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is so good, and by raising Jesus from death, he has given us new life and a hope that lives on.”
—1 Peter 1:3 (CEV)
“Celebrate with praises the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has shown us his extravagant mercy. For his fountain of mercy has given us a new life—we are reborn to experience a living, energetic hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” —1 Peter 1:3 (TPT)
3. “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.
In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.”
—1 Peter 1:3-9 (NIV)

"THAT CONTAINER IS LYING ABOUT ITS CONTENTS"
Matthew 7:15, “Be on your guard against false prophets; they come to you LOOKING LIKE SHEEP on the OUTSIDE, but on the INSIDE they are really like wild WOLVES.” (GNT)
My two favorite seasons are Winter and Fall! Winter, because I love Christmas, snow, carols, decorations and the like. And Fall, because I love the colors, Thanksgiving, the start of the scent of fireplaces, but most of all,…

A Golden Treasury for the Children of God
by Carl Heinrich von Bogatzky
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
- Matthew 6:10
God will have all men to he saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth: for there is one God, and one Mediator, between God and man, the man Christ Jesus who gave himself a ransom for all.
- 1 Timothy 2:4-6
Therefore he is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
- 2 Peter 3:9
O the inestimable riches of universal grace! This minute, O my distressed soul, thou canst lay hold on them, and firmly believe this promise to belong even to thee, and that thy lovely Saviour is as willing, as he is able to save thee from all thy sins. Whatever objections may be raised against it, and engross thy thoughts, hearken not to them, but resolutely reject them as the most detestable suggestions of the devil, who above all things, fights most against faith, knowing well enough that unbelief is the source of all wickedness. Therefore, mind him not, he is a liar. But the word of God may be depended upon: hence thou mayest confidently say, that I am exceedingly corrupted, is too true; but not beyond the infinite grace and power of God. Still I am a man: and he being willing that no man should perish, but that all should be saved; this his will is to me, the surest pledge of my justification, sanctification, and salvation. It is his will, and it is mine too, that I should be saved: what enemy then can hinder it?
But O my soul, for ever praise,
For ever love his name.
Who turns thy feet from dangerous ways
Of folly, sin, and shame.

Remembrance
Maundy Thursday! What was it like to be with Jesus at the Last Supper and what relevance does it have for us today? Do you Remember? Think On This Today! God bless ya.
As they ate, Jesus took the bread and blessed it and broke it and gave it to his disciples. He said to them, “This is my body. Eat it.” Then taking the cup of wine, he gave thanks to the Father, he entered into covenant with them, saying, “This is my blood. Each of you must drink it in fulfillment of the covenant. For this is the blood that seals the new covenant. It will be poured out for many…

The Relationship Between Farming and Holiness
Analogies are helpful and here is a good one from a godly leader who now lives with Jesus. Jerry Bridges was a long time staff member with the Navigators, a discipleship ministry that started in the military but has expanded in to worldwide discipling movement.
Wise words from Jerry Bridges and his classic book The Pursuit of Holiness.
Here’s the analogy that Bridges uses:
“Farming is a joint…

Just because I don't see eye to eye with someone on certain things, doesn't mean that I wish them ill.
You'd literally have to be a criminal & actively hurting people, especially kids, for me to hate you.
And even then, I'll still pray for you to find your way.
After all, "God is not willing that any should perish, but everyone to come to repentance." - 2 Peter 3:9
And "Come now, & let us reason together." - Isaiah 1:18
So, if God is willing to give the chance of repentance to all freely & is willing to reason with us, then what right do I have to deny those individuals that same courtesy?
Ergo, let us reason. Without hate in our hearts.

Eternal Assurance: Trusting in Christ Alone
Back in the early 90’s I faced a crisis as I held to a works-based salvation and constantly lived in fear of my eternal destiny. I had no assurance of my salvation because I never knew if I’d performed enough good works to validate my salvation. It was a terrible place to be. The solution came when I began to study the Scriptures carefully, stopped looking at myself, and fixed my “eyes on Jesus,…
