Hold Me Close
11th Doctor x gn!reader; fluff
summary: it’s been a long–however long it’s been–and now the Doctor just needs some rest. maybe some comfort is needed too
a/n: took me over a decade to finally watch this show and now I’ve gone and fallen head over heels for Matt Smith. here’s a lil sleepy imagine for ya, sorry if he’s a bit ooc—I just want some fluff. set at no specific point ♡
Tumblr media Tumblr media
His skin was warm and soft under your fingertips. Your eyes flicker from his peaceful resting expression to your hand caressing his cheek. He never looks this calm while awake. The childlike glee that surrounded him like a radiant aura was there, but just behind it was something, well, it was hard to describe. Like seeing something move in your peripheral vision or catching a familiar scent from your childhood, for a split second it was there and the next—gone.
With a small sigh, you push the thought from your head. You had just gotten back from running for your lives yet again and the thoughts swarming and circling in your mind were starting to give you a headache. And truth be told, you worried about him. Sure, he was over 900 years old and had experienced so much but-
The Doctor almost seemed to sense your stress and rolled over a bit, shifting onto his back almost an invitation for you to rest your head upon his chest. And who were you to deny such an invitation?
Careful not to jostle him, you scoot closer and lower your head against him. The sound of his two hearts beating and his scent are oddly comforting, drawing you further into him. Before you’re consciously aware of it, you’re burying yourself in him; arms come up to wrap around his torso completely of their own accord. On what can only be described as reflex, arms are returning the motion and suddenly you’re locked against the man you’ve been wanting for so long.
A sound of contentment perhaps? rumbles out of his chest, firing up a wave a butterflies in your stomach. You squeeze your eyes shut for a moment, willing the feeling to go away or at least settle down. But it doesn’t. You feel hot where his arms hold you and, you suppose, so does everywhere else he’s touching.
It takes several minutes, but your body finally manages to calm back down. The fluttery feeling isn’t completely gone, but gets quickly replaced with a jolt of panic when the doctor shifts under you.
You maneuver your head in his grip to look up at his face and your panic is justified by the fact that he seems to be waking up. Squirming in a futile attempt to release yourself from his grasp only makes it worse as his hold tightens.
“What are you trying to get away for?” His eyes are still closed, voice laced with a hint of exhaustion but still matter of fact as always.
The silence pierces the air and lingers for a few moments before his eyes blearily blink open.
You’ve turned your head away but you can feel his gaze on you, blush rising on your cheeks. “Uh, no reason.”
“You can go if you’d like, but” he hesitates and you wonder if it’s because he’s somehow unsure of himself.
“Do you want me to stay Doctor?” Try as you might, your voice trembles slightly at the fear of him suddenly rejecting you.
His grip never falters but his tone drops, “please,” it reminds you of the tone he had when he told you he was the last of his kind, wandering the whole of time and space. You remember the look on his face— how could you ever forget— a man who, whether he’d admit it aloud or not, desperately needed comfort.
“I’m not going anywhere,” your tone is hushed to match his, arms finding their way back around him. You feel lips press onto the top of your head and releasing the breath you didn’t realize you were holding, you sink back down into his embrace.

Baking weekends : "Kiss the cook"
Tumblr media
this gif don't belong to me
Hello again, It's froggit here, so since i finished the last part of my series of one shots with the tenth doctor, i wanted to continue the time line, but with different doctors. For this one, you would have guessed it, the 11th is gonna make an apearence. I wanted to do something fluffy with him, not much running around with this one. May be in a future chapter. Anyway, as always, Warning : English is not my first language. So please be indulgent. Froggit-
---------------
It was a new day aboard the TARDIS. As you awoke from your slumber, a tinge of sadness washed over you as you realized the Doctor wasn't beside you. You and the Doctor had been inseparable married since his last regeneration. Back then, your sister was still on the verge of marriage, but an insidious queen alien threatened to unleash her offspring upon humanity. Though the problem was resolved, your sister had to leave the TARDIS for her own safety.
Rising from your bed, you made your way to the TARDIS wardrobe, selecting a (F/c) top paired with washed up wide-legged jeans for today's outfit. Completing your look with your favorite sport shoes, you headed back to the console. Greeting the TARDIS, you found the Doctor tinkering with his sonic screwdriver beneath the main platform, muttering curses under his breath.
"Good morning, sweetheart!" you exclaimed, standing by the console to observe the Time Lord at work.
"Ah, (Y/N)! Finally up--?"
"You could have woken me, you know?"
"Wouldn't dream of depriving you of sleep, now would I?"
"Still haunted by our last sleepover with the Ponds, are you?" you teased, knowing full well he didn't mind those gatherings one bit, but your last escapade involving chasing him with pears during Amy's visit had leaved him on his guards.
"That, and Sexy here needed a bit of tinkering. But we do have to meet up with our in-laws, don't we?"
"Better hurry, or Amy will have both our heads on a silver platter by the time we get there."
"Geronimo, then."
Adjusting a few levers on the console, the Doctor drew closer to you before turning around on his feets, planting an excited kiss on your lips, then pulling the Big lever to send the TARDIS flying off. And landing it did, with a loud sound just down the block.
"You're getting better at parking her! For once, we didn't end up in Amy's kitchen; that's a first." Did you teased him.
"I said I was sorry. Not my fault the oven was wide open."
"I'm not complaining. Now we have a brand new oven to bake with!"
Approaching the door, you barely had time to knock before the ginger woman engulfed you in a bone-crushing hug. Amy had become a close friend since she first entered the TARDIS, her courageous demeanor and contagious sassiness made her impossible not to like. The two of you were quite the pair, sticking together in every circumstance, and today was no exception. As usual on weekends, you had decided to visit and bake with her, initially just a joke, but it had become a regular activity for the girls as time went on, spurred by the Doctor's sweet tooth and craving for sugar.
After exchanging greetings with Rory, Amelia tossed you your cooking apron, adorned with a magnificent "Kiss the Cook" slogan on the front. Catching it gracefully, you tied it securely around your waist as you helped Amelia with hers. Turning to face the grinning Doctor seated on one of the stools, you inquired, "So, pretty boy, what shall we try this time?"
"Have we made 'gâteau au yaourt' yet?"
"What even is that?" Amy chimed in, detaching herself from your grasp.
"Good choice, Doctor. Now, we just need a container to measure everything."
After washing your hands, you felt the Doctor's gaze on your new apron.
"Do you like it?"
"I more than like it. It suits you well."
And there it was, that smile that always made you weak in the knees. Blushing, you turned away, which only seemed to widen the Doctor's grin.
"Oh, shush..."
Without waiting for his response, you began gathering the ingredients needed for the cake. Retrieving your phone from your back pocket, you started an energetic playlist, dancing around the counter while Amy sang along to certain parts.
"So, let me guide you through this, Amy. First, we need some yogurt."
Peeking into the fridge, the ginger-haired girl retrieved a small white container. And so, you began explaining how yogurt cake was an important French bakery item, a practical dessert with no need for precise measurements, perfect for busy meetings.
The recipe was simple enough, so while Amy mixed the batter, you whipped up some cream, trying your best to keep up with the beat of the music. Once finished, you stored the cream in the fridge before joining Amy for the final step: pouring the batter into a circular pan and placing it in the oven.
With the cake now baking, you suggested to Amy that she and Rory take a break while you tackled the dishes. Eyeing you suspiciously, she warned you not to make a mess in her absence. Whether she was referring to you or the Doctor, who was still seated at the counter, you couldn't be sure. Shaking your head, you ushered her out before taking your place at the sink, whisk in hand.
As you washed the utensils, you felt someone's hands wrap around your waist, and a head drop onto your shoulder.
"Bored already, darling?"
"Not really…"
"Then what's on your mind?"
You had just shaken your hands to remove excess water when you turned around to find the Doctor's face mere inches from yours, his nose adorned with a smudge of batter. Did he really just lick the bowl? Deciding you didn’t even want to question it, you just stared at it for a while before speaking up.
“You have a little something on your face.. Here let me help you.”  Taking the end of your apron, you brought it up to his face before weeping the small spot at the tip of his nose. His smile shined once more as you sneakily swapped your places, making him now trapped between you and the counter.
"So, tell me, what's going on in that beautiful head of yours? You've been unusually quiet…"
"Can't I just listen to you talk?"
"Shouldn't it be the other way around?"
"I mean, you've lived in France for a couple of lives, so you might know more than me on this point."
"Says the man with a universe's worth of knowledge in his library. You're not fooling me on this one, spaceman."
Your faces were now tantalizingly close, as you tried to coax him into saying something. With you this close, all he wanted was to tell you everything but it would ruin the surprise. He had wanted for it to be special, a small adventure for the both of you, but he was too scared to spill it out of excitement to say something.
"You're impossible, you know that?"
"Apparently not enough. Tell me about it."
With a small laugh, you grabbed him by his bow tie, crashing your lips against his, melting into his touch as you basked in his comfort. Each sweet kiss sent butterflies fluttering in your stomach, just like the first time you met. Your hands grasped at anything you could on him, trying to ground yourself in the moment.
Your embrace seemed too short, as your make-out session was interrupted by the timer on the oven. With your hair disheveled and the Doctor's bow tie undone, you tried to compose yourselves, pulling your hair back and slipping on a heat-resistant glove to retrieve the cake from the oven. Admiring the beautiful golden top, you could practically taste its delicious aroma.
You and the Doctor attempted to look a bit more presentable, but as always Amy bursted into the kitchen, wanting to ensure everything was all right.
"Cake's out of the oven?"
"Yep."
Upon closer inspection, she laughed at the Doctor's disheveled appearance. He was still straightening his bow tie, his collar askew, revealing a few red marks, with his shirt wrinkled and partially untucked, his suspenders struggling to stay attached to his pants.
"You two had fun, I see."
Blushing, you were tempted to toss your glove at Amy, but she dodged it with ease, giggling as she left, seemingly on her way to spread some gossip.
"Shit, I missed..."
Well, it could have been worse. You helped the Doctor readjust his bow tie, before boiling water for tea. Finally, you made the cake presentable and topped it with fresh whipped cream and raspberries.
And as you set everything on the table, the Doctor marveled at his luck. How did he end up with someone who could keep up with him on every adventure? He remembered the look on your face when you first saw his new regeneration. He had told you beforehand, but he still worried that you wouldn't love him the same way with his new face.
How silly was he to think that someone who had changed faces so many times would reject him. To you, he was still the Doctor, the beautiful creature who had shown you the universe, made you feel loved and cared for. Even if he was a bit smaller, with longer hair and a larger chin. In your opinion it made him all the easier to kiss, and you were grateful for it.
----------------
The afternoon ended on a beautiful note, with you, the Doctor, and the Ponds enjoying a delicious homemade cake as soft music played in the background. You discussed future adventures and reminisced about memories made along the way, planning your next baking escapade. It was no surprise when the Doctor suggested trying to make some alien cake next time. In your mind, you had already reached the bottom shelf of the TARDIS library, eyeing the row of books, wondering if the red recipe book with Gallifreyan writings on the cover could help.
You had been working tirelessly for weeks now to perfect a recipe while visiting your sister. Secretly learning Gallifreyan, with some assistance from the TARDIS in selecting the right books for translation. You were grateful for her help in this endeavor. You wanted for it to be perfect after all and create something meaningful for him.
As the sun set, you bid farewell to the Ponds, promising to visit again soon, before returning to the TARDIS. Once in space, the Doctor was finally able to execute his plan, sending you both to one of the most beautiful soirées in the galaxy to dance the night away. For a short while he disappeared into the corridors of the TARDIS, letting you ponder what he was up to this time.
----------------
"Well, milady, we are awaited somewhere rather special. Your finest dress is advised for this glorious night." The Doctor exclaimed with the voice of a television host, returning in a magnificent white vest and black dress pants. A smile graced your lips as you admired him and his unusual attire.
"Just give me a moment, beautiful stranger… I'll be right back." Making your way to the TARDIS wardrobe, you examined the extensive selection of dresses, eventually landing one recommended by River. You had chosen it on one of your last trips together, waiting for the perfect occasion to wear it. As for jewelry, you adorned yourself with a simple golden necklace the Doctor had given you for your first anniversary.
Emerging onto the main platform, you found the Doctor still where you had left him, his feet tapping the ground in a repeating pattern. When he turned around, his breath caught in his throat at the sight of you. The dress you wore was a mid-length gown with a slit, featuring a V-neckline that revealed just the right amount of cleavage. It hugged your figure perfectly, with two distinct parts to the sleeves—one that made the top stand straight and the other cascading over your shoulder. Your makeup was soft, your hair elegantly styled, complementing every curve of your body.
"So… what do you think?"
"Bleamy, (Y/N)...., you look out of this world…"
Still a blushing mess, you interlocked your arm with his as you walked out of the TARDIS, a wide grin spreading across your face when you saw where he had taken you.
—-------------------
Bonus :
"I suppose I made the right choice of dress, didn't I?"  Did you laugh practically out of air.
As always, the night ended with both of you escaping the scene, giggling like a mad married couple , with a few soldiers trying to get hold of you. Let's just say you were discovered in one of the corridors making out once again, this time with the Doctor fully adorned in your favorite deep red lipstick.
“Forgot i was banned from the palace-” The doctor finally admitted as the Tardis came into view.

Bored In Captivity (River Song x reader)
Summary: getting kidnapped never bothered you as you knew it wouldn't take long for you to be found again
Tumblr media
Warnings: mentioned violence (kidnappings, threats, guns, etc.), pretty sure that's it
A/N: I really wanted to write something with River and this is just some short little thing that I was able to come up with. I initially planned on The Doctor actually making an appearance in this since it was supposed to be a fairly obvious poly relationship between him, River, and the reader, but he got left out unfortunately 💔 so it's just implied to be one instead
Tumblr media
Any time you went on a trip with The Doctor, there was always the chance of something bad happening and things going sideways fast.
Unfortunately, you were typically the most affected party, and had grown quite accustom to the occasional threats and kidnappings. At this point, if you didn't find yourself in danger at least once a week, then it wasn't a real adventure.
Even trips that were supposed to be nice and relaxing usually didn't stay that way for very long, what with the many power hungry maniacs littered across the universe.
Take now, for example. You were currently tied up in front of some alien dictator, two guards nearby so as to make sure you wouldn't try to escape. Yeah, as if.
You were forced to listen as he droned on and on about how foolish it was of you to step foot in his domain and how amusing it would be to make you watch as he got rid of The Doctor once and for all.
To be quite honest, it was all a bunch of blathering nonsense that you couldn't really make any sense of. You'd tuned him out about three paragraphs into his speech.
Something that did make you perk up, however, was the all too familiar swooshing sound of a certain police box, followed by a commotion that was heard going on out in the hallway. The two guards standing on either side of you glanced at each other uneasily, clearly not liking where this was headed.
The dictator, on the other hand, either ignored what he heard or was just too stupid to recognize the gravity of the situation. He kept talking, though he stopped when he noticed that neither you nor the guards were paying him any attention.
Before he could complain about how rude it was to ignore someone of his high ranking royalty, however, the door blasted open, and he was sent flying backwards by a sudden laser blast to the chest.
The guards both dropped their guns and ran, and you honestly couldn't blame them. After all, you'd hate to be in their position right now. You, on the other hand, had absolutely nothing to worry about.
Letting out a cough, you blinked a few times as your eyes started to adjust to the dust settling around the room.
Despite not being able to see very well, your hearing was near perfect, meaning you were able to pick up the two very distinct words that never failed to send a shiver down your spine and make your heart race (in a good way).
"Hello, sweetie," River purred in a soothing voice as she stepped over the fallen dictator's body, making her way over to you. "Let's get you out of those restraints, shall we?"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Doctor would you please just sit down?” You groaned as the time lord turned his back to you once again.
“I told you I’m fine, you don’t need to look after me. It’s just a few bruises.” The doctor replied, busying himself with the control panel.
You let out a groan of frustration as you ran your fingers through your hair. The doctor could be a real pain in the arse when he wanted to be.
“It’s not just a few bruises” You mimicked, walking over to him.
“You’re bleeding. Not only that, but you also smacked your head pretty hard, and I would really love it if you weren’t flying through the time vortex with a concussion so please for the last time – Sit. Down.” You crossed your arms over your chest, staring at him.
The doctor fidgeted under your gaze, unsure of where to look. “Honestly it’s not that big of a deal I’m fine-“
“Oh my god doctor! Could you please stop being stubborn for once in your life?” You yelled.
The doctor was slightly taken back by your tone. It was very rare that you raised your voice, even rarer for you to raise it at him.
You sighed “I just want to make sure you’re okay. Will you let me do that? Please?” You said, your tone softening.
The doctors stomach flipped at your words. He wasn’t used to people caring about him in the way you did. It was a foreign feeling; but he liked it. Without saying anything, he sat down and handed you back the first aid kit he’d taken from you earlier.
“Thank you” You smiled at him.
“I will say, as much as I understand why you said what you did, this is on you.” You chuckled, earning a grin from the doctor.
“Well he was wrong. And you know me, never have been a fan of archaeologists.”
************************************************************************
The doctor had taken you a planet not dissimilar to earth. He’d been rambling on about a specific museum exhibit that he’d been wanting to show you for days now yet every time he’d tried to take you, something else came up and caught his eye. But finally, here the two of you were strolling round an ancient building marvelling at all the artifacts on display.
“Doctor this place is just…wow” You said as your eyes gazed upon all the displays around you.
There were all sorts of alien relics from different points in history scattered around the room. Some things you recognised, like a rogue cyberman head that was being displayed in a glass case or one of the guns used by the Silurian race which was hanging on the wall. It was all so fascinating.
“Yes, yes this is all well and good but let’s get to the good bit.” The doctor said, grabbing your hand and pulling you forward.
You laughed at his child like glee as you ran with him.
“Okay, we’re here” The doctor said, coming to a very sudden stop which caused you to collide with his chest.
He placed his hands on your shoulders to steady you, causing a blush to creep onto your cheeks. You’d had feelings for the doctor for a while, I mean how could you not? When a funny, kind hearted, rather attractive man (well – alien) whisks you off and shows you all of time and space – it’d be hard not to fall for him. Normally you’d been pretty good at keeping it under wraps yet for some reason, recently anything he does gets you flustered within a matter of moments
“Close your eyes.” The doctors voice came, breaking you from your thoughts. You looked up at him, the glint of joy held in his eyes melting your heart.
“Okay but if you walk me into a wall, we’re falling out.” You said with a laugh.
“As if I would let that happen to you.” The doctor commented before standing behind you, his hands on your arms as he manoeuvred you forward.
You held your hands out cautiously in front of you but luckily you didn’t hit anything. After a few moments, the doctor stopped.
“Okay, you can open your eyes now.” He said excitedly.
You peeled your eyes open slowly, unsure of what to expect. Your jaw fell open as your eyes took in the sight before you. Next to you, the doctor watched in pure delight as you looked at the exhibit. “
Is this…I mean…It’s beautiful.” Your voice was quiet as you truly had no words to describe how blown away you were.
Before you stood the most gorgeous painting of a landscape, a sky full of vibrant orange, reds, yellows burning their way onto the canvas. Clouds scattered around the fire of the sky, with a burnt orange moon peering out from behind them. In the centre of the painting sat a magnificent dome, within which there were buildings, quite sizeable buildings – almost like skyscrapers. The dome reflected the light of the sun onto the sandy terrain below and if you looked close enough, it was as if you could actually see the light dancing around the floor.
“This was my home.” The doctor said, his gentle voice cutting through the silence. “Gallifrey.”
The pride was evident in his voice as he stared longingly at the painting.
“It’s exquisite doctor.” You replied, still in awe.
“I don’t know where this painting came from. But I am glad some memory of my planet lives on. It was a truly wonderous place.” He said softly.
You glanced over at him, his face fallen slightly. You knew how much he missed him home, his people. Even though he tried to hide it, the guilt consumed him. And it broke your heart.
“Thank you.” You said, never taking your eyes from him. He turned to face you; his brow furrowed in confusion.
“For what?”
“For bringing me here. For showing me your home. I know how painful it must be for you and I am glad you felt comfortable enough to share this with me. It means a lot.” You explained, smiling softly at him.
The doctor took a step closer to you, cupping your face in his hands.
“There is no one else I would rather share this with. If I could take you there in person I would do so in a heartbeat. You are the most important thing in my life, and I want you to see me. All of me.” His words were so soft, so genuine it made tears well in your eyes.
“I see you doctor. And I love you.” You said, the words slipping out before you had a chance to stop them.
The doctor faltered for a second, slightly surprised by your confession. You began to pull away, regretting your choice before the doctor gently pulled your face towards him and promptly crashing his lips to yours. You sighed happily as you melted into him, your arms wrapping around his neck. The kiss was short, but heartfelt. You pulled away grinning up at the doctor, who held you close.
“I love you too by the way.”
“Oh good” You chuckled.
The two of you stood there, just enjoying the others embrace.
“Yeah just tell Allie that she’s going to have to wait for that order, I have a lot more on my plate right now.” A loud voice echoed off the walls, causing you and the doctor to turn around.
The sound of footsteps were getting closer, as were the voices.
“Right so Alex if you could please get the Sontarans body armour boxed up and ready to ship for Monday, and Trevor if  you sort of the Zantian artifacts that would be- Oh hello.” A man, dressed in a full suit and tie appeared before the two of you, followed by two other men, who you assumed to be Alex and Trevor.
“Hello” The doctor replied awkwardly.
“I’m sorry but how on earth did you get in here? This museum isn’t open for another week.” The man said, clearly very agitated.
You rolled your eyes, looking up at the doctor. “Really? You couldn’t have brought us here a week later.”
“Well, I didn’t want it to be busy when we came” The doctor said fidgeting with his bow tie.
You chuckled at his behaviour before turning your attention back to the man in front of you.
“Will you two stop blabbering and tell me how you got in here? I have every right to get you locked up for this. Breaking and entering one of the most prestige buildings in the city and I-“
“I’ll stop you right there thank you. We are actually a part of an official alien artifacts organization, and we were sent here to make sure everything was in order for the grand opening.” The doctor said, flashing them his psychic paper.
The man’s face dropped as he read whatever credentials had just shown up.
“Oh. Oh, right yes of course. I do apologize. I hadn’t been made aware of any visits” The man fumbled through an apology.
“Yes well the uh big boss wanted to keep it a surprise just in case. You know how things are. Anyway, everything seems to be in order. We were just admiring the painting before heading off so goodbye.” The doctor said quickly before taking your hand in his and beginning to walk away.
You were still grinning over the fact the doctor had kissed you. Not only that, he’d told you he loved you. You felt giddy.
“Why would you ever be interested in such a dull painting? Come, let me show you some artifacts that are worth your time.” The man called after the pair of you.
The doctor stopped dead in his tracks. You felt your stomach drop. The doctors face fell.
“What did you just say?” He asked, his voice calm.
But not a relaxing calm, more sinister. More like the type you get before a storm.
“The painting, it’s hardly anything of interest.” The man repeated, clearly not sensing the rising anger in the time lord.
The doctor dropped your hand, marching over to the man.
“You know nothing of that painting. You know nothing of my planet so don’t you dare for one minute tell me that my home is hardly anything of interest.” The doctor didn’t shout. He didn’t need to. His words held enough rage and force in them to do more damage than shouting ever could.
You watched as his chest rose and fell, obviously in an attempt to calm himself down. There was very little that riled the doctor up this much. But you understood why this had caused such a reaction.
“Y-your planet? You mean to say you’re a-“
“Time lord. Yes. The last of them. So choose your words a little more carefully.” The doctor replied.
The mans face contorted in disgust.
“How dare you step foot in here. How dare you step foot onto our planet. Timelords are a disgrace. There extinction was a victory for the rest of us.” His words were dripping with malice as he eyed the doctor.
Your heart burned, anger rising in you as well. The doctor froze once again, his breathing increasing once more. You saw his fists clench as his body became rigid with fury. You began to walk over to him, knowing you needed to get him out of here. You didn’t know what he was going to do but you didn’t want to find out.
“Restrain him.” The man called before you could reach him. The two other men standing behind him were on the doctor in an instant, pinning the doctor against the wall.
“Get off of me. Get off.” The doctor shouted, thrashing in their arms.
“Doctor!” You yelled running towards him.
However before you could reach him, two other men appeared grabbing a hold of you as well. You cried out in pain as they pulled you harshly away from the doctor.
“LET HER GO. DO NOT TOUCH HER" He bellowed, struggling even harder against the men holding him.
“Your kind are nothing but a plague to the rest of the universe. I will be doing her a kindness by getting rid of you.” The man snarled.
“Don’t you fucking hurt him.” You yelled as the men began dragging you away.
Your eyes found the doctor, he looked just as terrified as you just before he was dragged off to another room and out of your eyesight. The further you got from the doctor, the more panicked you became. They were going to kill him. You couldn’t let that happen. The men brought you to the end of a corridor, where there stood a cage.
“You’re just going to lock me up and leave me here are you? Very original” You spat.
One of the men chuckled. “Of course not. We’re going to lock you up and sell you to the highest bidder. There are all sorts of different aliens coming to the opening event that have never seen a human before. I’m sure they will be most interested in you.” He said, chuckling along with his friend.
No. This is not happening. You were getting the doctor and you were getting out of here. With all the energy you could muster, you kicked one the men square between the legs – causing him to double over in pain before doing the same to the other one. With their grip on your arms now loosened, you were able to pull yourself free and began running as fast as you could back in the direction on the doctor. When you made it back to the room you had originally been in, there was no sign of him.
Your mind was racing. You knew you only had a short amount of time before the men recovered and came after you. Suddenly, you heard the doctor yell out in pain. Your heart felt as if it stopped beating as you heard his cries. You went to run towards the noise before looking around you. If you ran in there unarmed, you were as good as captured again. You looked around the room before your eyes landed on the Silurian gun you had noticed earlier. You didn’t have to use it, just threaten to. You grabbed it off the wall before running in the direction of the doctor.
Everything was a bit of a blur after that. When you found the doctor he was laying on the floor, breathing heavily. He had cuts all over his face, as well as nasty looking bruises. It hadn’t taken much to scare the men away, none of them clearly having been threatened with a gun before. You helped the doctor stand before rushing back to the safety of the TARDIS.
************************************************************************
“There you are. All patched up.” You said with a smile, taking a step back to admire your work.
Due to the cuts the doctor had obtained, his face was lightly decorated with plasters which you have to admit was a rather funny sight.
“How do I look?” The doctor asked, standing up.
“You look…”
“Adorable? Cute Sexy?”
“I was thinking more along the lines of stupid, idiotic and dumb but sure” You teased, laughing at the frown on his face.
“Well I guess that’s the last time I let my girlfriend take care of me then.” He mumbled to himself as he walked back to the console.
Your stomach fluttered at his words. Whether he meant for you to hear them or not you weren’t sure, but you had.
“Girlfriend?” You commented, following him.
His eyes widened as you stood in front of him. He opened his mouth to say something before changing his mind and closing it again.
“Did you just call me your girlfriend?” You asked, a smirk pulling at your lips.
“I, well, technically yes. I just assumed – because of earlier- isn’t that usually what people do?” He said, stumbling over his words.
You beamed up at him, taking his face gently in your hands. “Yes, it is. Albeit people usually get asked rather than told, but as long as I’m yours I really don’t care.”
The doctors cheeks flushed a light shade of pink at your words, causing your heart to race. He was so beautiful.
“Now as your girlfriend, I demand that you keep this pretty face of yours safe. As much fun as I had looking after you, I’d like my boyfriend to remain in one piece.”
“You think my face is…pretty?” The doctor said, still very flustered.
“Of course I do. Even if its been slightly battered with all these bruises.” You ran your thumb gently across each one before leaning up and placing a kiss on them.
The doctor fidgeted slightly as you kissed his face, making you chuckle against him.
You pulled back and smiled at him. “There we are, all better.”
He grinned down at you, nothing but love reflecting back at you.
“I will forever be grateful that the universe gave me the gift of meeting you.” The doctor said, holding you close to him.
“I love you too.” You replied, sighing happily as you rested your head against his chest.
You could hear his two hearts beating in a steady rhythm as he gently ran his fingers through your hair. This was definitely something you could get used to. And you did.

so 11th doctor x gn reader??? reader is a ballerina and its never brought up xause the doctor doesnt ask, so one day readers doing their stretches and the doctors like "???? youre so flexible" and readers like "i do ballet???" and its just a silly little conversation
i just think this is a cool idea!!!! thanks for writing this if you do!!!
You were in the tardis stretching. It had been early in the day you think, it was hard to tell in the tardis. But seeing as you just woke up an hour ago its morning for you.
The doctor was currently adding some touches to the Tardis. Keeping her running smoothly and making sure she was well taken care of. So you took this time to stretch and do your morning exercises. There was soft instrumental music playing as you did so.
When you were sitting on the ground with your arms stretched out in front of you. Bending to touch your foot it was rather easy for you to do so. You had been in ballet for many years, ever since you were a kid really. So stretches had always been part of your daily routine. However you usually did them in the privacy of your own home.
That's why when the doctor came in to see you he was confused for a moment. "How are you doing that?" he asks as he wipes off his hands. This earns a laugh from you "What touching my feet? Its rather easy. You should give it a try"
The doctor was in fit shape so you didn't see why stretching would harm him any. It took him a few moments before shrugging and sitting down beside you. You guide him through the motions and when he couldn't touch his feet without scrunching up his face. A laugh escapes you. "Doctor you are so fit. I'm surprised you aren't able to"
He knew you weren't really making fun of him or anything. Just lightning up the mood. His head turns to you and rolls his eyes with a smile "not everyone can be so bendy." there's a pause before he speaks again. "why are you doing these weird stretches?" he asks.
You smile and strand up from your sitting position and straighten yourself up. "well I was in ballet my whole life. So it started at a very young age. Its just something I enjoy doing now."
He nods and thinks for a moment "wait is that why you can fit into really tight spaces. Like the other day when a dalek was chasing us. You fit into that really small space" You laugh as you think about the moment he is talking about and nod. "yes exactly. See being bendy comes in handy in those situations. Maybe you should start stretching then you could get out of situations faster. Than if you were just running"

Could you write a 10th or 11th doctor (whichever you prefer) with a reader of an alien race whose planet/civilization blew up during the time war? perhaps they have sort of an unspoken hatred for the doctor because they blame the time lords, but then become friends' overtime when they comfort each other and then there is lots of fluff and plantonic cuddles?
Also, your writing is so amazing and I really look forward to all the future stories you create regardless of if you wright this one!
Yes! I absolutely love this idea, and I hope I did it justice! I took a few creative liberties, but the undertones of it all are the same.
I chose to do 11, because I think this arc would hit him a bit harder, due to all the left over anger and rage he is just starting to overcome from the Time Lord Victorious.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Also, just a PSA for other’s who have made requests. I’m not ignoring them. I write as inspiration comes. Please have patience, I will get to it eventually! Thank you <3

Learning to Forgive
Doctor Who Masterlist
11th Doctor x Platonic!Alien!Reader
Tumblr media
You never thought it would be possible to hate the man who saved your life. That, however, was before you knew who he was. What he was. And when the Head of the Wyxthar Council, announced his race, like it was common knowledge, your blood ran cold.
Time Lord. The people who used your home planet, and countless others, as free battle terrain in the last great Time War, as if there weren’t millions of lives being disrupted and ended on each one.
If it weren’t for your parents, who had sent you off in a tiny shuttle, alone, just a child, to be jettisoned off to a small barren planet just outside the war zone. You’d also be dead. And as the shuttle grew further away from your home, you watched as the entire planet was blown into oblivion, pushing you further and faster into the black of space.
It was the worst day of your life.
And now, as you stood there with him, having previously called him a friend, you watched as his usually cheerful face grew just a little cold and remorseful.
His hand went to gingerly grab ahold of yours, as if he needed comfort, which seemed utterly ridiculous to you. What would he need comforting for? You felt his skin brush against yours, but you pulled away quickly, taking a step back to create more distance.
The face he gave you, full of concern and confusion, only made everything you were feeling worse, and a deep anger bubbled up in your stomach. The kind of anger than made tears burn in your eyes and your body start to tremble slightly.
You mind was racing. Everything he had told you about himself, the TARDIS, the writing on the console that seemed just a little too familiar. He said he stole the TARDIS, could he have been lying to you? Thoughts buzzed around in your head at a million miles per second and all you knew was that you had to get away from him. And you had to get away fast.
Before you knew it, you had turned and ran. Ran away from the council. Ran passed the TARDIS. Ran into the city, hoping to find somewhere to hide. You could hear him calling after you, but you didn’t dare look back. You just kept running until you hit water, and you collapsed on the foreign beach.
You stayed there for a long while. You watched the sun set, as tears dried on your face. Angry at him, for not telling you. Angry at yourself for not noticing sooner. Feeling derailed and lost. Where would you go from here? Maybe the locals would be kind enough to lend you a shuttle. You certainly couldn’t go back to life with the Doctor after this.
But alas, in the dark of the night, that familiar groan of the TARDIS sounded behind you. You let out a shaky breath and closed your eyes, hoping you were imagining his presence, but the soft crunch of a boot on sand could be heard before you felt him sit down besides you.
“What happened back there?” He asked, and your gaze turned back to the sky.
“Why did you never tell me who you were?”
He was silent for a while. You heard him sigh, and in the corner of your eye you could see his head fall to his chest. “I don’t know.”
“My planet is gone because of you, and your people,” you said bitterly, and quickly. “I am alone in the universe, because of you.”
“I know,” he said, softly, and solemnly.
“And you knew about me, and my past,” you started to cry again, as the words flew out of your mouth. “You knew all along, and you never told me.”
“I was frightened—
“Frightened?” You scoffed, cutting him off. “You don’t know what frightened is. Don’t you dare. Frightened, is when you’re just a child, floating away from your home planet, from you family, just to see it explode before you, along with everyone and everything you know!”
“Y/N,” he called to you quietly, his voice full of remorse and regret. “I know, I should’ve told you. I was just afraid, that if I did, I’d lose you.”
“Well, that’s too bad,” you retorted, keeping your gaze locked in front of you. “Because now you have.”
“Please, don’t do that,” he pleaded with you, but you just shook your head, when you saw him look at you from the corner of your eye. “Please, Y/N, let me explain.”
You wanted so badly to get up and leave him there, and you knew if you did he’d let you go, not wanting you to feel trapped by him. But you stayed.
“I didn’t agree with what my people did,” he began to explain. “But you have to understand, even if they hadn’t fought on other planets, the Daleks still would’ve killed everyone. You’ve seen the Daleks before. You know what they’re like.”
“I know,” you said, still not wanting to believe him, but what he said made too much sense. You remember what the Daleks were like as a child, just a faint memory, and then when traveling with him, you’d run into one or two. They were hateful creatures. You knew that. They’re whole purpose was kill anything and everything that wasn’t a Dalek.
And suddenly everything bubbled back to the surface and tears flowed down your face again. The Doctor frowned, and sighed. You knew he hated to see you upset. You knew, truly, he was your friend, no matter now much you hated him, or… wanted to hate him.
He didn’t say anything. You thought he might. You thought he might ask you not to cry, or if you could ever forgive him… and to be honest, you weren’t sure if you could. No, he didn’t say anything, except a soft utterance of your name, as he wrapped his arms around you, holding you as you wept.
The world seemed so quiet. The water in front of you gently fell upon the shore, and the stars twinkled in the dark orange sky of the foreign planet. And the Doctor held you. There was no judgment, no expectations, just pure understanding and compassion.
You hated it. You truly hated it, how safe you felt in his arms, but there was no denying it. He was your best friend. He’d probably always be your best friend. No matter what he did or what happened between the two of you. He always understood you.
And after several moments of just quiet, when your tears had slowed, he spoke again, softly and kindly. “I’m so sorry.”
“I know,” you replied, in a voice just above a whisper. “Doctor, I…”
“It’s okay, Y/N,” he said. “I understand. I’ll find somewhere nice, where you can start a life. Any life you want.”
You shook your head. “I don’t want that,” you countered. “I have the life I want. Traveling the stars. I just… I don’t know if I’ll ever truly forgive you, but I’m willing to try.”
And then he smiled, and pulled you a little closer. You just sat there, probably for hours, staring up at the stars. This was right, and you supposed with how long ago his terrible truth was, perhaps it was time to learn how to forgive.

Imagine being the annoying kid that the 11th Doctor is trying to interrogate :
11th Doctor : How can someone as small as you be involved with something as big as this?
(Y/n) : I think that’s a bit rude mate-
11th Doctor : *walking around (Y/n) in circles* Are you perhaps special? Because you look rather normal to me
(Y/n) : Look, I would answer that incredibly odd question but my answer is going to make me seem like the main character and I don’t want to be that
11th Doctor : *face of confusion*
(Y/n) : So I am going to say my backup answer
11th Doctor : And that is?
(Y/n) : Your mum *runs away*
11th Doctor : I was wrong
11th Doctor : I will stay away from all children in the future

Infinitely Ordinary Life - 10th Doctor x Reader
Tumblr media
An: This is a story I started a full year ago. Today I finally decided to finish it. I want to start writing more for you all, so I started with just finishing up this old gem. This can also be read as the 11th Doctor, as there aren't a lot of specifics about his appearance. I hope you all enjoy it! Gif isn't mine :)
Summary: You and the Doctor find yourselves on a beautiful planet. This moment of tranquillity results in you wanting a bit of rest. This domestic break leaves the two of you room to question your relationship and your ever-growing romantic attachment to the other.
Word Count: 3011
Warnings: Angst with Comfort, Happy-ish Ending, Longing and Denial, Psychic Touch, You're also very Comfortable With Touch
Song I based this off: Infinitely Ordinary by The Wrecks
But then there was that sea: The brilliant blue of the ocean reminded you of home, even when it was billions of miles away. All of those silly beach days, with ice cream, sandcastles and seagulls, with all those funny little human traditions. You felt a nostalgic pull to the sea.
“Look at that sky,” The Doctor hushed, lacing his fingers with yours whilst looking over the rocks at the sea-side view. It seemed no matter where in the universe you happen to find yourself, the seaside is the seaside.
The vibrant warmth of the sun burnt into the rocks below. The glow imbued the clouds with a rich, warm blaze that seemed to unfurl across the vast horizon.
It looked like a sky on fire, just like Galifrey all those years ago. He would be the first to admit that it still hurt him to see something so painfully familiar, but he had you there to remind him that it was indeed different.
The patient rage of the sky seemed almost entirely separate from the gloomy blue waves, as though the two were in two very different worlds. However, every so often, the light caught at just the right angle, and the two blended seamlessly. It was beautiful.
The both of you had mutually decided it was a sight worth seeing from the moment you stepped out of the TARDIS, no matter what accompanied it. But fortunately for you, the planet was completely uninhabited and had been for hundreds of years.
"You know, Doctor," You beamed, leaning your head on his shoulder, "Times like these are so… rare."
The waves ceaselessly lapped on the beach, and never had the Doctor been more comfortable than in this one moment of innocent bliss. Your hand was still in his. He wasn't sure he would've stayed there if not for the way your eyes lit up at the blazing sunset. Nothing could ever compare to those eyes.
He proceeded to set his chin atop your head, "What'd you mean by that?"
"Peace and quiet. With you, I mean," You gestured around with your free hand, “No threats, no nothing. Just us.”
What was said as a passing comment, really managed to hook the Doctor's attention. The ocean's lull was the last thing in his mind as he realised that you were right.
"I'm half expecting a Sontaran to drop out of the sky. It'll fall right into the ocean in front of us, knowing our luck,"
He couldn't remember the last time he stopped to smell the flowers, so to speak, especially not since you were his companion. Ever since you had set foot on the TARDIS, all those months ago, the Doctor had done nothing but speed around the universe, showing you everything he could think of.
Different species, different worlds, space stations, your distant past and future; nothing fazed his latest addition to a long history of friends.
Because of that, he had also been doing his best to be as honest as possible with you. He had learnt whilst travelling with Martha that he can't hide from everything. He didn’t want you to think he didn’t trust you, especially since you were upfront about yourself.
The Doctor lifted his head to look at you in delighted silence. Instead of paying any attention whatsoever to what you were saying, all he saw were the little tufts of your hair that were refusing to settle. Now, of course, hair doesn't exactly hold place when you're at sea, but even the wisps of hair looked so, so soft.
Without thinking, he had already reached out and had begun to gently run his fingers through a section of your hair.
"You know what," The Doctor declared, barely above a whisper, "For once, I'm glad nothing is chasing us."
At that moment, you pulled away from the Doctor, "C'mon, I want to go to the water."
The Doctor chased after you for once as you trailed your way down the rough rocks, down to the waterfront. You were both giggling, gasping and smiling giddily at one another.
Grinning, the Doctor sat on the sand, inviting you to join him. The waves were lapping at the beach a couple of metres in front of the both of you.
It was windy, but you two didn't mind. It was nice to be happy together for once. The Doctor noticed you pulling your sleeves over your hands, and realised you were cold. After all, he was cold too.
Or at least, that's what he told himself when he shuffled closer to you and draped an arm around your shoulder.
He felt so vulnerable and uncertain, but oh so alive.
Maybe it wasn't so bad, just relaxing for a moment. These enchanting little moments made Doctor feel human.
For a moment, he felt like what he was feeling had no repercussions. The Doctor could sit here, hold you close and everything would be okay. He didn’t have to worry about losing you any second or have to make sacrifices to keep you alive. He didn’t have to think about how this would all end one day, and he’d be left a shell of himself.
Everything was so perfect, like a scene out of a movie. He didn't have anything but you to think about. No mistakes, no regrets, no hard decisions. No saving the universe or worrying over your health. You gave him a moment of sanctity to remember you in: it was brilliantly human.
Great heavens, how he loved you. He just knew he couldn’t call it that.
-
"Doctor," You started, collapsing onto the cool grating of the Console room, "I think I want to stay home,"
The Doctor knew that you didn't like running around, but not enough to put you off travelling with him. If he had known, he would’ve worked around it. He didn't want to see his favourite person leave just because they couldn't keep up. However, the last thing he wanted to do was force you to stay. You made your decision, and he was going to respect it.
He was utterly crushed, feeling his hearts sink as he stood around the consoles, Keeping his head down, the Doctor nodded weakly, "Yeah,"
You had clearly noticed his response wasn't what you expected. You were expecting a fit or an annoyed sigh. At least, until you realized what you said.
"Wait, no, I meant- I meant can we stay in the TARDIS," You corrected.
The Doctor then stopped in his tracks, hands still hovering over console controls. He could’ve sworn his hearts stopped. He broke out in a small giggle, managing to chirp out a quiet, "You called the TARDIS home."
You shushed him, burying your face in your hands, "Can we please just stay in for a bit. It's been months since either of us has had a proper break, and after that nightmare…"
The Doctor smiled affectionately, pulling his hand away from the console, "Well, since you asked, I suppose I can make an exception for my lovely companion."
"Thank you," You responded, voice soft, suddenly hit with a wave of tiredness. You yawned, and the Doctor did so too.
"Infecting me with your tiredness, I see. Maybe you should start this break with a nap. In your bed." The Doctor spoke, more at you than to you, "There are tons of pillows. Nice and cosy."
You hum, pulling yourself off the floor, "I think I will."
"Nighty night," The Doctor waggled his fingers in a short goodbye.
"Goodnight, love,"
But as you sluggishly walked away, the Doctor was back to thinking a mile a minute. He swore he heard you… no. You couldn't have. But you did. Oh boy, he’d have to be careful around you, You already had him wrapped around your finger.
"You're not burning anything are you?" You mumble, heaving yourself into the kitchen, only having woken up because you heard a pan drop in the kitchen.
"Oh! Good Morning," The Doctor beamed. Leaning back against the counter, he was sipping from a mug, "For your information, I didn't burn anything, thank you very much,"
"Well, it smelt like half the TARDIS was on fire, felt like I should come to your rescue. Make sure you're still alive," You hummed, walking around the breakfast bar and next to the Doctor. From the corner of his eye, he noticed you glance up at him.
The Doctor sighed, "Mh, alright, sure. Also, don't drink the coffee." The Doctor sipped again, "It's not coffee. Well, it is, sort of, but it's horrible for humans."
"How else am I supposed to get caffeinated?" You sigh sarcastically, already filling the kettle.
"Guess you'll have to find some other way," The Doctor mimicked your tone playfully, sighing, moving out of your way.
-
After the kettle started boiling, you turned your attention back to the Doctor, "How long was I asleep?"
"A while," The Doctor hummed into his mug.
”Ah the benefits of a time machine,” You smiled to yourself, before addressing the Doctor, "And um, did you get any sleep yourself?"
"No." The Doctor confessed, staring holes into the bottom of his mug.
"Nightmares?" You murmured delicately. The Doctor nodded. You exhaled softly, “I don’t think I can say anything to help, but I can offer you a hug in this trying time.”
The Doctor rolled his eyes, before setting his mug down to accept that hug. You wrapped your arms around his waist, holding him close to you. You felt his breath on your neck as the two of you stood there. You were eventually broken apart by the kettle popping behind you.
Turning around, you begin to make your favourite hot drink whilst speaking, “Well, is there anything you’d like to do today? Other than running around, because my feet are killing me.”
The Doctor smiled at you, nodding as he picked his cup back up. "We could watch some movies? I’m sure the TARDIS has a good selection. We could have a real good Movie Night. Not that… 'night' has any meaning in a time machine. Or in general."
"A movie day? Movie… movie session?" you chimed in.
"I don't suppose it matters too much, as long we’re doing something,”
"Why are you following me?" You called out behind you, walking through the corridors of the TARDIS, “You’re following me like a lost puppy. You’ve even got the eyes for it.”
"The TARDIS wouldn’t let me read in peace, and I’m so bored.” The Doctor retorted, before scoffing, “And what, are you saying I have cute eyes?”
”Would it be a problem if I was?” You countered, pacing yourself so that the Doctor could catch up.
”Well, no, I just,” The doctor stammered, “I’m more interested in what you’re doing.”
”I’m just wandering around,” You confess, “It’s interesting. There are lots of places in the TARDIS that I’ve never seen. Besides, you’re the one who wanted to get some reading in first.”
”I know…” The Doctor sighed, “Can we go and watch that movie now, please?
”Yeah we can,” Smiling, you followed the Doctor whilst discussing movie genres.
“So, you’re sure you want to watch a documentary?” You scoffed, “You?”
Offended, the Doctor peeked his head over his shoulder, ”What’s wrong with that!”
”I just don’t want you to get offended at someone mistelling a story.” You snicker to yourself, sitting down on the loveseat and getting comfortable. The Doctor rolled his eyes and proceeded to sort out the movie. Eventually, he picked out a documentary about Egypt from the year 2132.
As the Doctor settled down next to you, he put his arm around your shoulders.
“I’m going to be honest,” The Doctor spoke over the documentary, which had just started discussing different artefacts, “I’d probably hate this if it weren’t for you being here.”
”What, hate taking a rest?”
”Yeah.” The Doctor avoided your eyes, “I hate staying still. It gives me time to think. But, with you here, it’s actually kind of nice.”
In the dark room, only illuminated in a gentle yellow glow, you practically made heart eyes at your companion. You hadn’t had the time to consider his appearance much, but now that he was looking right into your eyes, an arm wrapped over you whilst watching a movie, you could feel your heart racing. You just hoped the Doctor couldn’t.
”I mean, I love just spending time with you, no matter what,” You confessed. You tore your eyes from the Doctor, trying to watch the movie. As soon as you looked back to the screen, his free hand made its way to yours.
His rough fingers brushed over the back of your hand gently, but as he did that you felt a wave of emotion that wasn’t yours. You weren’t sure how you could tell they weren’t yours, but you could.
You felt relaxed and comfortable, that much was obvious to you.
But there was something else, you could only draw it up to confusion, and dread. You could feel an almost overpowering airy feeling, potentially admiration, but you could feel the unshakable, dark panic that hid beneath.
That empty feeling ate away at everything else. It tainted every other feeling, completely unrelenting.
In the midst of these feelings, you laced your hand with the Doctors, and the feelings intensified. You felt the light and the dark tear at each other, the two feelings tangling and tearing at each other.
You were trying so desperately to understand these feelings, what they were about, but as soon as you realised they were The Doctor’s feelings, his hand pulled away, and his arm left your shoulder.
“I’m sorry, um,” The Doctor stuttered out, “It’s a sort of psychic communication. It was a common thing for Time Lords, I didn’t mean to do it, I didn’t even realise. I’m sorry if that was invasive.”
”So wait, that’s how you’re feeling?” You ask, looking over to the Doctor for confirmation, who swallowed nervously. When he nods, you consider for a moment, before speaking, “Doctor, why are you so afraid?”
”I, um…” The Doctors head fell forwards, “I… I think I um, I think I’m in love with you.” He lamented, “The thought terrifies me. I’m sorry if that ruins things,”
”Oh,” You sat, completely astonished, “It doesn’t ruin things, I think- well, I know I’ve been in love with you for a while.”
The Doctor ran his hands through his hair, “I think I’m scared to love you… scared to say it. I know one day you’ll leave. I know it. You could die, any day now. I won’t get to spend the rest of my life with you, but you’ll spend the rest of your life with me. It’s not fair.”
The Doctor once again looked over his shoulder, but this time his eyes were puffy and red. Without words, you cupped his cheek in your hand and pressed your forehead against yours. His breath was hot and unsteady against your face. He lifted his head, and looked you in the eyes for a moment, before leaning his face towards yours. Your lips touched, and the Doctors arms wrapped around you, both balling up your clothes in a desperate attempt to hold onto that moment. Your movements were frantic, both relieved to finally be kissing the other, but longing to make things last.
You had no words. He was right. You wanted to tell him you would be okay, but you knew you had a limited life. You wanted to spend your life with him, to make the most of what you had, but you didn’t think that was really your decision to make. You weren’t the one that would still be alive after it’s all over.
You snaked your arm over his shoulders and pressed a sorrow-filled kiss against his temple.
”I just, I can’t lose you.” The Doctor’s teary eyes met with yours, “You make me feel so alive, so happy.”
”I’m sorry things are like this.” You breathed, “Whatever we are, is completely up to you.”
”That’s the thing,” He let out a quiet sob, his voice trembling, “I’ve acknowledged it now. I know you love me back, I want to kiss you enough as it is… every time you make your stupid jokes, whenever you look at me with that lovelorn look, you look in my eyes like I’m incapable of loving you back. Knowing that you’d want that too?” The Doctor’s face twisted into a solemn state, ”I just, I can’t help but imagine how things would be if we were different.”
Tears were now streaming down your cheeks, watching the man you love torn apart by this.
When you finally parted, you were the first person to talk, ”I’ve wanted to do that for so long.”
”Me too,” The Doctor laughed weakly through the tears. You held his face gently, caressing his cheeks with your thumbs, wiping away the tears, ”Can… can we do that more often?”
You smiled sadly, “Of course we can, love.”
”Who knows, maybe we can find a way to make this work long-term.” The Doctor’s voice cracked and rasped as he spoke, “I suppose we can see.”
”I’ll do anything I can to make sure this lasts as long as possible,” You press a kiss to the tip of his nose, “So, you’re happy to be with me?”
”So so happy,” He laughed, tear-stained cheeks forming an odd toothy smile.
You pressed another kiss against his head as you shifted over, patting your lap, “Do you want to put your head down for a bit?”
He nodded. You watched him set his head on your thighs, arms wrapping around your leg and sighing as you started to run your fingers through his hair. You both started watching the documentary again, now discussing theories about the Pyramids.
The Doctor’s breathing returned to normal, and his voice, whilst still hoarse, was calm and relaxed as he whispered to you, “I think I could get used to this.”

• When you first came aboard the Tardis you’d immediately stolen the heart of The Doctors tenth form.
• He’d put off telling you for a fear of you rejecting him, but after an adventure we’re you almost died he’d tell you how much you meant to him.
• Of course, you told him you loved him too, and you’d both continue to travel the stars together, falling for each-other more as you did.
• Everything would be perfect- apart from the running from monstrous aliens part- but when he realised he was going to regenerate, he became distant, thinking that you’d dislike him after regenerating
• Although you’d assured him many times that you’d still love him, he’d became distant with you in the time leading up to his regeneration.
• The thing you were most afraid of when he regenerated was him not loving you any more, when you’d told him this he’d took both your hands and looked you in the eyes and told you that would never happen. You filled both of his hearts in a way he’d never felt before.
• When he finally did change, you’d been thrown across the room by the shaking of the TARDIS as he regenerated, so you hadn’t been able to see his face until you’d stumbled to the other side of the console where he sat.
• He looked so different from your Doctor, the man you’d Travelled with before, that for a moment you didn’t know if you could see him the same. But then his eyes met yours, all green and filled with wonder, and you knew you’d get to fall in love with him all over again
• When you both finally had some alone time together in the Tardis after he regenerated, he’d asked very quietly if you wanted to leave now that he’d changed
• “I know that you probably don’t see me the same way-“ he’d mumbled, but you’d only scoff and pull him into a hug, assuring him that you’d make it through this.
• He was so awkward in this form, all waving arms and jumping about, but sometimes he’d sit quietly with you watching the stars. It was in these moments that you knew how much he loved you, because his eyes would fill with the same look that Ten would have whenever he looked at you.
• Despite it taking some getting used to his new form, the soft kisses on your forehead and the bright smiles he gave you let you know that he loved you still.
• Ultimately, you loved him no matter who he regenerated into, and when he realised that he lit up with a big smile.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Those gifs do not belong to me.
Heyyyyy! How are you lots ? As promised, here comes another episode of the baking week ends ! This follows up the event of "An hymne to love", as well as the last espisode, "Kiss the cook".
Anyway... Hope you enjoy !
Froggit-
Warning : there's a lot of fluff, mention of making out in the tardis. English is not my first language.
--------------------------
The grocery store seemed to be way too full for a Saturday morning. Paying for the few articles you had in your basket, you got out, frantically searching for your car. There was so little time until the doctor and Clara came back from another of their adventures.
Driving as fast as the law allowed you, you pulled up to your small cottage, sprinting toward your house, paper bags in hand. Your coat was quickly put on a hanger as your shoes went flying in the entry.
Washing your hands conscientiously, you tried to get your plan straight one more time, making sure nothing was missing.
You had wanted to surprise the Doctor for a long while now. Back when Amy and Rorry were still traveling with you, a brilliant idea had come to you in the form of a red recipe book. The cover was old and titled with circles and other intricate designs you soon realized, was Gallifreyan. Having seen the notes the doctor tended to leave in the console room for repairs the Tardis needed, it was only ever so obvious.
For the sake of this recipe, you had to go to small markets while on another planet, wanting to find every single ingredient of what the doctor had stated to be his favorite dessert back home. Finally opening the book, you couldn’t help yourself, and shed a tear as you saw the numerous yellow sticky notes on every page, annotations left by Donna, your previous self older sister.
"How can I be sure he ain't as rotten as the last one?"
Donna was upset to be keeped from such an important part of your life. If you were honest, you were sad to not be able to share it, but it was either that or losing her once more.
On that day, you had asked for her help, but she wanted to know more about that brilliant
stranger you said changed you in better ways.
"Do you reckon I would be baking for him if he weren't important?"
"Cor blimey, you two had been goin’ out for bleedin’ three years, and I still never met the bloke!"
“I told you he traveled an awful lot.” you let out passing by the radio and changing the station.
“Just spill it if he's scared of meeting mom.” She let out with a small laugh. You could only do the same, bumping her with your hip as you did so.
You missed her dearly, her and her sassy comebacks. Since your new “Regeneration” you haven't been able to see her. What would she even say ? She didn’t know this version of you, you didn’t even look the same, and putting her life at risk would be irresponsible. You had just hopped that may be one day you would meet her once more.
Putting up some energetic music, you wore your apron and got to work, sleeves put up to the elbow. The adventure only truly started now, something you waited so long to put up.
--------------------------
The doctor and Clara had been off all day, the brunette insisting on going a little longer, still waiting for your signal. The timelord was starting to be suspicious of Claras behavior, wondering what got his companion so energized for such a long adventure, he even was starting to wonder if she wasn’t a clone trying to keep him from earth longer than normal.
But like the over-excited traveler he was, he couldn’t put down the offer, for all he knew, he was expected back at your cottage by the end of afternoon. Today was a busy day for you, and even if he wanted to have taken you with them, you insisted for them to spend some time together. It saddened him of course, none the less he understood today wasn’t a good day to go off with her.
Right now, the doctor was admiring a beautiful fez he had found within the small shop he and Clara came across, visiting a brand new planet. Soon enough he felt his shoulder being tapped on by the said girl, a tired smile visibly drawing itself on her lips. Asking the doctor to take her home, Clara had just closed her phone, saving it in her back pocket.
After buying the fez, he seemed proud as he pushed the levers on the console. Rocking his new hat, Clara only could wonder if he would ever come across one without having to put it on. Even if she didn’t dream of seeing him less happy, she wanted the surprise that awaited him back home would light him up even brighter.
With the Brunette back at her apartment, the doctor had no patience in waiting some more and launched the Tardis. Soon, his foot touched the vast landing of grass, still illuminated as the sun slowly hid behind the clouds.
Without any hesitation, his hand found the ringing bell of the small cottage, his heart pounding harder and harder as the seconds got by.
Passing your head by the now unlocked window, the doctor seemed to ignite, happy to finally be back. “Darling, the door is open! Come on in!” Your hair was a mess, your glasses hanging from around your neck, beautifully portrayed by the light of the setting sun highlighting your figure. Smiling at you, the doctor entered the house, coming practically 10 seconds later face to face with you. “Well, welcome home Sweetheart”.
--------------------------
“I told you to not cheat! close those beautiful eyes before I smack you.”
The doctor was too curious to wait for the surprise you had put up for him. And right now, all he wanted was to take a tiny peak. But knowing how serious you could be about those things, he didn’t jocked around long before closing his eyes.
Soon you entered the room, a beautiful cake in your hands. Its sunny color, outshining the yellow of your apron. Slowing placing the cake before the Doctor. You gently brushed his shoulder. “Doctor, you can open them… ”
Finally letting go of his face, the man thought he was dreaming. Before him stood something that was supposed to be long gone, never to be seen again. And as he admired the wonderful pâtisserie, he couldn’t help but notice it wasn't just any Gallifreyan cake; it was a homemade one.
Both his hearts skipped a beat as he realized the significance of the gesture. Turning to his wife with a mixture of surprise and gratitude, he couldn't help but smile.
"Did you...?" he started, his voice filled with warmth and affection.
You couldn’t help but beamed with pride when you saw the love in his eyes. "Yes, Doctor. I thought since you couldn't go back to Gallifrey yet, I'd bring a little piece of it to you."
The Doctor's eyes shimmered with unshed tears as he looked at the cake, overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness of your gesture. At this moment, all he could think of was how much he loved you, and how much you meant.
Taking a deep breath to steady his emotions, the Doctor rose from his chair, wrapping both arms around you, burying his head in the crook of your neck, trying to hide his tears as they got out of control. Pulling you into a tight yet comforting hug, all he could muster was a soft “Thank you” thick with all the love he could let out. "This... means more to me than you could ever know."
Your hand was now passing on his back, soothing him as much as you could. Your other tangled itself with his soft hair as you stood there for another minute. You never wanted this embrace to end. But as you pulled slightly away, you could only see how much the doctor truly meant every word.
With a gentle smile, you reached down, your hand slowly cradling his cheek as you leaned in softly, closing the distance between them. Your breath mingled, warm yet sweet as your lips brushed together in a soft yet passionate kiss. But as you parted, the doctor only tried to reach for your lips, making you snort softly at the surprised look on his face.
“I do believe we still have to taste the cake, now don’t we?”
“I- … yes”
“We will continue… this after…-”
--------------------------
And to say you had outdone yourself was an understatement. You would have expected it to taste funny with the numerous strange ingredients you had to add. It was heavenly, and by the doctor's face, you could only tell he was enjoying every second of it.
“Is it any good ?” Serving yourself another portion.
"Blimey, love! This... this is fantastic! Haven't had a nibble like this in eons... It's not just good, it's utterly brilliant! Delicious doesn't even begin to describe it!" He answered, still trying to shove more cake in his mouth.
Your cheeks flared up, genuinely happy, and proud you had done such good work. In the beginning, you feared it wouldn’t have the same taste as the one that existed back home, and you felt relieved that the doctor could recognize a fond memory in it.
--------------------------
It was safe to say, the cake did not survive long enough. You and the doctor, now cuddling in the softness of the Tardis covers.
After the cake had been devoured, you had to have a turn. The thankful kisses you gave one another, turned into a heated session of making out against the tardis console, his fingerprints still lingering on your inner thighs. And just like that it was you and him against the world once more.
His fingers passed through your short ginger hair as a comfortable silence installed itself. You looked up at him and could tell he had some questions about the whole surprise.
“You have a lot of questions don’t you ?”
“I always do…”
“Ask away then, I know you’re curious.”
Shifting slightly closer, the doctor leaned onto his elbow, making his face right above you. “How long did this take you ?”
Your hand reaching out for his jaw, you pulled a small but sad grin. “I started trying back when Amy was still traveling with us. Unfortunately, I died shortly after so… been planning longer than our wedding. ”
The doctor laughed slightly with you, remembering the chaotic moment. “And the recipe? Where did you find it? The Tardis database is still written in Gallifreyan as far as I’m aware of- ”
“No such trouble when you have learned to read it.”
“What..?”
“Why so surprised? Did you think I would traverse the universe for eons and not try to embrace your culture? What sort of wife would I be ?”
And just when he thought he couldn’t love you more, he did. His hearts swelled with pride as he looked into your eyes. Caressing your cheek, he kissed your forehead, brushing away some strands of hair still in the way.
“You truly are remarkable (Y/N).....”
“It goes both ways my Bowtie maniac.”
And as the sun rose again on the Tardis, the two lovers intertwined once more, laying one against another as close as you could, afraid time might slip by and take you both apart.
You couldn’t have dreamed of a better outcome.
--------------------------
Bonus :
“I knew Clara was up to something!” Complained the time lord only now realizing why his companion was so indecisive about where to land.
“Only figured now she had to keep you busy while I was baking?”
“That’s an awful trickery-”
“As far as I’m aware, if you hadn't been off, you wouldn’t have this wonderful fez of yours, now would you ?” Turning around him you swiftly took the red hat off his head, putting it on your own.
“Oi, mine-” He quickly tried to retrieve it, but knowing you it could be easy or involve a lot of running.
Dodging his hand, you took the opportunity to run off in the Tardis corridors singing “Nope, mine now!” as you ran across the control room.
“(Y/N)! ” The doctor was slightly panicked but it was just a matter of time before all of it evolved into laughter.

'Time was a funny thing, she had found out. And apparently much more complicated than she ever anticipated. She still wasn’t sure what was in that tomb, what had cursed her, but she was stuck with her consequences, and when torchwood had found her, well it was only a bit of a shock when they told her aliens exist, time travel too. Some aliens look like us, others don’t, some are friendly, others evil with hatred in their hearts. When Jack Harkness had offered her a ‘job’ of sorts, traveling through space and time, stopping disasters from wiping out whole planets and races, and saving people. It made the fact that she was supposedly going to live forever mean a little bit more, to know she was putting her life to use.'

---------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Doctor when I said I wanted to see the stars, getting lost INSIDE OF ONE was not exactly what I had in mind.” You yelled, running your fingers through your hair as you weaved your way through the intricate tunnel system you’d found yourself in.
Amy and Rory chuckled from behind you. The doctor had told the three of you about a cluster of stars the formed only once every 25 years in some tiny corner of the universe, and of course, you couldn’t say no. I mean how many other people would get the chance to witness something so real and beautiful? However, what the doctor had failed to mention is that these stars were not like the normal balls of gas that you could see from earth. Instead, they were – drum roll please – alien stars!!! Honestly you shouldn’t have expected anything less when traveling with a mad man in a blue box, but you didn’t think the alien stars would quite literally swallow you whole.
So now here you were, in the centre of a star, trying to find your way back to the Tardis which had somehow been separated from the four of you.
“Look I know this isn’t ideal, but how amazing is this! We are literally standing in a star I mean this is just extraordinary.” The doctor beamed back at you, clapping his hands together.
You smiled slightly at his boyish antics, but something didn’t sit right with you. You tried so hard to be immersed in the shining colours and ornate patterns dancing on the icy walls around  you, but you couldn’t shake the feeling deep inside of you that something was wrong. Something bad was going to happen. The doctor had assured you many times that these stars were not known for having lifeforms living inside of them, but it did nothing to soothe your worry.
“Are you doing okay back there y/n, you seem rather quiet- AHH” The doctor yelled before disappearing out of sight.
Your heart pounded as you began to run forward, the ponds following.
“Wait stop don’t move” You heard him yell. Your eyes searched frantically but you couldn’t see him anywhere.
“I’m down here.” He groaned.
Confused, the three of you looked down. Just in front of where you had stopped, there was a hole in the ground. Well actually, it looked more like a slide. You couldn’t see the doctor, but you could hear him which calmed your still racing heart. You knelt onto the floor shouting down to him.
“Are you okay? Are you hurt?”
“I’m okay, little bit bruised though.” He huffed.
“You or your ego?” Amy joked.
You heard the doctor grumble something along the lines of “Shut up” before chuckling at Amy’s comment.
“Right come on you lot, get down here.” The doctor yelled. You swapped an unsure look with the others.
“Do we have to? I mean it doesn’t exactly sound like fun.” Rory replied.
“If you want to stay up there to try and find your way out of the star by yourself then, by all means Rory go ahead.” The doctor said.
“Oh come on, what’s the worst that can happen” Amy said, smiling at her husband before lowering herself down into the hole.
You and Rory listened as she landed with a thud. You looked at him cautiously.
“Did you wanna go next or?” He asked. You smiled at him.
“What and leave you up here by yourself? What if something happens to you? No, you go and I’ll follow you down.”
“Okay but then I’d be leaving you up here by yourself. What if something happens to you instead?” He countered.
“Oh come on Rory you know me, I’m indestructible.” You joked, trying to ease his worry. “I’ll be okay. Just go”
Rory lingered for a few more moments, before sighing and lowering himself down.
You listened for his thud, before calling out to them. “All good to come down? Not going to squash anyone am i?” But the only response you got was your voice echoing off the walls. “Guys?” You tried again.
Once again your heart rate picked up, racing in your chest. “They’re okay. You’re okay. Nothings happened to them” You muttered to yourself, trying to calm down.
But the longer the silence continued, the more worried you got. Were they hurt? Had they been attacked by something? But surely you would have heard them. Had they left you? As you sat there trying to figure of what to do, you heard what sounded like glass cracking from behind you.
Turning to see if you could locate the noise, you saw what looked like a long sharp tentacle attaching itself to the wall. The longer you looked, the more appeared, dragging the body of a creature you hadn’t seen before closer to you. You froze in spot, terrified. It wasn’t until the creature let out the most revolting, blood chilling noise you’d heard that you were snapped back into reality. You turned and threw yourself into the hole. You didn’t know where the others were or what was waiting for you at the bottom, but anything had to be better than letting that creature catch up to you.
************************************************************************A lot goes wrong when you travel with the doctor. Nearly every adventure you’d been on with him ends up with you running for your lives. But this had to have been the worst you’d been on in a while.
Turns out the creature that you had come across, there was an entire colony of them living right in the heart of the star. And that’s exactly where you had been chucked out. They were descending from every angle – the walls, the ceilings (if you could even call it that) – everywhere.
They were holding Amy and Rory suspended high in the air, while the doctor was being restrained where he stood. His eyes looked desperate at he tried to call out to you, but before he could, you felt the tentacles wrapping around you dragging you backwards.
You fought, you screamed. You needed to get back to your friends. You need to help them. You didn’t care what happened to yourself as long as they were safe. Somehow, and you don’t have a clue how, you were able to break their hold on you. They screeched as you ran forward, trying to get back to Amy and Rory. Something sharp whipped across your legs, momentarily causing you to stumble. Another, hitting you across the face. You don’t know what it was or where it was coming from, but you kept running. You could see the sonic on the floor, just out of reach of the doctor. You didn’t know if it could help or what it would do to the creatures, but at this point you didn’t care. Your lungs were on fire, the fear of the creatures closing in you pushing you forward. You grabbed the sonic, kicking it over to the doctor before being swarmed by the creatures.
They were all over you. There was no escape. You covered your head as best you could, falling to the ground. All you could hear was there screeching burning your ears, their tentacles hitting every part of you. And then suddenly, it stopped.
There was no more screeching, no bodies pressing against you. Nothing. Even though fear was seeping through your bones, you peeled your hands away from your face taking in your surroundings. Some way in front of you stood a very dishevelled looking doctor, his chest rising and falling at an alarming rate. In his hand, the sonic. You let out a small sigh of relief. Looking around your own body, you could see what looked like ash. No, no not ash. It was glass. Tiny fragments of glass. So fine it was like sand. A lot of it covered your own body. The more you looked around, the more you saw clumps of it scattered around the place. You glanced back over at the doctor. His eyes were dark, a look you hadn’t seem on a regular basis, but enough to know what it meant. Your heart hurt for him.
“It had to be done.” His voice was rough. “They weren’t going to stop.”
************************************************************************
When you all got back into the Tardis, the atmosphere was tense. No one had said a word on the way back. Your thoughts were running wild, bouncing around inside of you. But you didn’t want to focus on that, you couldn’t. Not when the others were in such a state.
“Right.” You said after the doctor had flown the Tardis safely away from the cluster. “All of you sit down. I’ll be right back.” You said with a forced smile.
Quickly you disappeared off into another room leaving the others confused.
“Where do you think she’s going?” Rory asked, holding Amy close to him.
“You know what she’s like. Always patching us up.” She said with a stiff chuckle.
The doctor watched as you re-entered with a first aid kid, as well as 3 or four blankets.
“I figured we all needed a little pick me up. So, once I’ve made sure that no ones going to bleed out on me, grab a blanket and follow me.” You instructed, beaming at them.
“Where are we going exactly?” Amy said, already looking happier.
“We’re having a movie night. I figured none of us would want to be alone right now, and a movie will take our mind of things.” The ponds smiled at you nodding in agreement.
The doctor however, just watched you silently. You went about cleaning up any wounds the ponds may have endured before sending them on their way, each with a blanket in hand.
“Come on doctor, you may be a time lord, but you’re not indestructible” You joked, gesturing for him to sit down.
“Why are you doing this?” The doctor replied, eyes fixed on yours.
His tone threw you off a little. He didn’t sound angry as such, but he definitely didn’t sound happy.
“What do you mean?” You replied, turning your back to him and busying yourself with the items in front of you.
“This. All this. The movie night, the blankets, looking after everyone.” He spoke. “You know me, it’s what I do. I just wanted to make everyone feel a bit better.”
“But what about you?” The doctor said, taking your hand in his and turning you to face him.
You stared at his hand in yours, knowing if you met his gaze you would break.
“I’ll be okay doctor. Knowing everyone else is safe, that’s what makes me okay.” You replied.
He didn’t believe you; you knew he didn’t. But thankfully he didn’t question it any further.
“Come on, let’s go watch a film then.” He responded, pulling you towards the film room.
************************************************************************
Shouting. Crying. Pain. Everything was moving so fast. “Run y/n run.” You could hear the doctor yelling out to you, but you couldn’t see him. He sounded scared. You needed to find him. You tried to look behind you, only to be greeted by one of the creatures from within the star. You screamed. It was close to you. So close. Something wrapped around your ankles. You were falling. The creature was falling with you. Your back hit the ground with a thud, all the breath leaving your lungs. You cried out, tears staining your face. You had to get up. You had to find the doctor. You had to move. But you couldn’t. The creature was above you, descending. Move. MOVE. Please for the love of god move. You willed for your body to do something. To the right of you, you saw Amy and Rory. They weren’t moving. Your heart shattered. You were too late. You couldn’t save them. To your left, the doctor watched as you lay there helpless. He was trying to reach you. You couldn’t let him watch you die. The creature was closing in, you could feel the tentacles wrapping around you. It was getting closer. And closer. You could feel the weight of its body. You cried out, calling the doctors name. It was getting closer still.
“Y/N” You bolted up right.
Your heart was pounding, your breathing was rapid. You couldn’t focus. Your mind felt like it was spinning.
“Y/n, y/n look at me. I’ve got you. Nothing's going to happen to you. You’re safe now.” The doctor’s voice came from beside you.
You turned to look at him, your eyes frantic, tears still falling. His heart broke for you.
“T-the creature. It got me. It killed Amy and Rory. You were going to watch me die. I- I couldn’t save them.” You sobbed desperately.
“Y/n, please I need you to listen to me. Can you do that?” The doctor placed his hands on your shoulder, trying to ground you.
You looked at him, nodding slightly.
“Take a deep breathe with me okay. Ready? Breathe in”
You followed his instructions, trying to focus on just him.
“Breathe out.”
It slowed your racing heart but did very little to calm your thoughts. Images of your friends’ lifeless bodies kept flashing through your mind. The doctor, as if he knew exactly what you were thinking, took your shaking hands in his.
“Amy and Rory are fine. They just got tired and went to their room to sleep. They are safe. I promise you; everyone is safe.” He spoke calmly, tracing small patterns across your hand.
You nodded, unable to speak just yet. You looked around you, only now realising you were still in the movie room. In the Tardis. The doctor was right. You were safe. You could feel the anxiety beginning to slip away as you let out a sigh, collapsing back against your chair.
“Feeling better?” The doctor asked still holding your hand.
“Yes. I’m sorry for causing such a scene. I was just being dramatic. I’m fine honestly I-“
“Stop.” The doctor cut you off.
You looked at him, confused.
“Stop pretending everything is okay. You’re not fine y/n. You went through a lot today, just like the rest of us. You are allowed too not be okay.” He said softly, his hand moving to caress your cheek.
“You take on so much for the rest of us. All the time. There have been countless times where you’ve held me when I’ve cried or calmed me when I’m hurting.  But do you ever actually stop to check on yourself?” He let his words hang in the air for a moment before continuing. “You take care of me all the time, for once – let me return the favour.”
You lifted your hand to hold his, still resting against your cheek.
“Okay.” You whispered, smiling at him.
He smiled back at you, before pulling you to lie against him. Your head rested on his chest as his arms wrapped around you protectively. One of his hands threaded its way into your hair, stroking it softly.
You sighed in happily, melting against the time lord’s frame.
“I’m not going to let anything hurt you darling. Go to sleep.” He whispered softly before placing a gentle kiss on the top of your head.
