When Draco arrives, he doesn't find the wandmaker, but does find his apprentice, who happens to have ridiculously messy hair, a lightning bolt scar, and a definitely-not-charming smile. But Draco isn’t going to let Harry Potter get in the way of him becoming a successful medical researcher, even if Potter is stubborn, hot-tempered, reckless, surprisingly gentle, has bizarre taste in music, and likes to leave his shirts unbuttoned. How hard could the next few months be?

A fic about challenging assumptions, discovering self-worth, the silver lining in failing to meet expectations, and finding friendship, love, and purpose in a small Alaskan town that’s steeped in magic.

This is my favorite Modern Royalty AU I’ve read so far. I love the subplots of Arthur trying to hold down a regular job as prince and trying to figure out dating. The pacing is great especially with Merlin and Arthur’s relationship. A great slow burn, mutual pining situation. I laughed, I cried, I wished it could’ve been longer.

It's gonna be such a funny mess when Donald Trump dies of a stroke on April 1st, 2024.

The Republicans (after they're done with the faux-sadness and faux-outrage) will stomp over each other to be his successor but none of them will succeed. They'll tear each other apart and have no single nominee for the November elections.

There will be discourse about if Biden and the living former presidents should go to his funeral (they won't, he was a traitor insurrectionist)

The Ukraine-Russia War immediately goes in favor of Ukraine as morale in the Kremlin is reduced. China similarly backs off from its threats on Taiwan.

Ten thousand new memes are made, some sticking around for years to come.

Not a month later a bunch of unofficial biographies of Trump hit the bookshelves, many with new details about just how awful he was.

If the world was a fair place, Harry Potter would never have come across a curious romance novel that seemed to depict the entirety of his past with his old school rival Draco Malfoy. The world, however, was not a fair place. That’s why he found himself sitting in a cosy little bookshop listening to that same Draco Malfoy read extracts from “Apples and Oranges” – his newest endeavour into the world of muggle literature, and a way to fix his relationship with Saint Potter, if only in his head.

In a turn of events stranger than fiction, the flames of an old obsession begin to light up Harry's days all over again. It starts with the meet and greet, the gin and tonic, and the signed copy of his "fixed" life, but the ending seems more unclear than ever. Twisted in a fictional romantic comedy, Harry's own life is suddenly at a crossroad - he passed his enticing incident, so what else can he do except flip the next page of his future and wonder: what happens next?

or: Harry and Draco play gay chicken as they recreate ten dates Draco wrote in his romance novel. Harry tries to prove that ten dates is not enough to fall in love, while Draco tries to hide that he's already in love after the first.

Listen, I signed up for a good time and some light-hearted romcom and I got a truckload full of emotion slammed right into me reading this. Such an emotional rollercoaster which made me laugh and made me cry. I love the "Draco fell first but Harry fell harder" trope and the execution of it in this fic was immaculate. And also please for the love of god go and check the authors tumblr for some extra behind the scenes material, ESPECIALLY this scene from chapter 7. Going to cry in the shower now.
