I want everyone to understand that even if Israel wins this (I mean it won't but just imagine), it won't recover from this. It won't recover from getting caught off guard on Oct 7th. The government and the IDF spent days unable to have a strategic response to the Palestinian fighters while their own soldiers deserted and their allies openly questioned the wisdom of a ground invasion in Gaza. That's why they're bombing Gaza, it is the only way to project strength to the world but it is also alienating billions of people. The world has never been more pro Palestine than this moment in time.
Just like how America being forced to flee Afghanistan led to a series of Ls globally, Israel struggling against Hamas, PFLP, Islamic Jihad, and other groups will have disastrous effects locally and internationally. I mean, the political class is already falling apart with Netanyahu blaming government officials for this disaster. The Israeli government have no unity or cohesion which is not a great sign to put it lightly. War usually binds people, even rival political groups, and especially allies. America has been hinting that it doesn't approve of some of actions taken by Israel. It could be just Biden and his people trying to softly distance him from the genocide in Gaza but you also have former and current military leaders disapproving of Israel's military strategy.
The thing is you don't see Iran openly questioning the Palestinians. You don't see Hezbollah running to the press to let them know they think Hamas' strategy is weak. Every single Palestinian militia group, including the ones in the West Bank, are working together. Iran, Hezbollah and the Palestinians are all coordinating. In the past week, they would attack Israeli settlements and military bases and American bases in Iraq and Syria at the same time. They've even managed to get new support from the Yemeni Ansar Allah group.
Israel's main export is security- meaning weapons manufacturing and training. How many countries will rush to have their police or soldiers train with the IDF after witnessing them fold while in battle (in the latest ground incursion, the IDF lasted only 15 minutes inside Gaza according to Al Jazeera)? How many countries will line up to buy Israeli tanks after seeing them get taken out easily by guerilla fighters? How many countries and individual investors will want to invest in Israel when it can't go 5 years without a war or genocide?
I believe with all my heart we will soon see a liberated Palestine.

IDK if you know anything about this in particular but to what degree is Ansarallah actually antisemitic? Like yeah the line on their flag indicates it's not made up but every 'reliable' source has an obvious vested interest in emphasizing their antisemitism right now and I'm not sure what to believe. Personally as an antizionist Jew I think if they WERE antisemitic that'd be reason to criticize but wouldn't make their blockade any less justified, just wanted to know what you know about it.
Unfortunately, they're antisemitic given that they're currently holding the last Yemenite Jew in Yemen under custody as a result of the settler state's project to remove every Jewish person from Yemen. Hussain al-Houthi was a vicious antisemite as well and had expressed clear antisemitic remarks. The other issue is that while Ansar Allah have officially claimed to reject antisemitism, their slogan "Curse upon the Jews" or "al-La'na 'ala-l-Yahud" could be referring to the Zionists, given that the slogan is specifically denouncing the settler state, however, it still doesn't help the fact that they haven't made any changes to the slogan to avoid the conflation between Jewish people and Zionists, and because of previous incidents where antisemitism was clearly invoked, this doesn't help. What is true however is that in some parts of the Muslim world, the word Jew has become interchangeable with the word Zionist in reference to the Israeli occupation. But one thing is important to understand, people are supporting their right to resist against a much greater threat, while not necessarily agreeing with their ideologies.
While these are issues that must be addressed with the eventuality of the uplifting of the blockade and sanctions, and in the case of a full government takeover by Ansar Allah, one can not simply denounce their right to resistance against the settler state and the imperialist war machine and its allies.

On Houthi and Yemen, and Antisemitism in revolutionary spaces...
We've been observing the response to our statement showing support for Yemen's aid in Palestinian resistance- specifically where we said "Glory to Yemen", as there's certainly a lot more to it than that.
Houthi and Yemen are not mutually exclusive: the country of Yemen and its people, civilians, have been bombed and murdered by the western nations for decades- in which the last FOUR United States Presidents have sanctioned and bombed Yemen.
Houthi, more officially known as Ansar Allah ('supporters of G-d'), are a militant organisation that emerged in the 90s but rose to prominence in 2014 when the group rebelled against Yemen's government. The rebellion caused the official governing body to step down, in hand causing a demobilizing humanitarian crisis.
You can read more about Houthi here:
And more on why they are attacking ships entering the Red Sea here:
It's true, Houthi are Antisemitic and we do NOT support Houthi. Their slogan is quite literally "curse the Jews"; Houthi are not our revolutionary comrades for there is no revolution in hatred and division. Their direct action on Israeli ships subsequently disrupting trade is undeniably important to disrupting the flow of capital and aiding the Palestinian resistance movement- but Houthi deserve no special recognition. Yemen has seen expulsion of Jewish people from the land for centuries, and the Antisemitism that Houthi carries forth is the same hatred that displaced Jewish people within Yemen's history.
Web archive from the Yemen Times about the treatment of Jews in Yemen and Houthi's views.
Within revolutionary spaces you must approach everything with a critical lens, and it goes without saying, especially now more than ever. Whilst we can recognize Houthi's direct action in hindering trade, and the promise there, aids the Palestinian cause by putting pressure on the Capitalist hegemony- we must equally affirm that antisemitism is unacceptable. To punish every Jewish person for Zionist crimes is unacceptable and a hinderance itself in revolutionary spaces. We cannot and will not allow Houthi's Antisemitic ideology to be regurgitated.
Leftists, Communists- recognising Antisemitism within Leftist spaces does not automatically corelate to giving grace to Israel- you must recognise that Judaism, Zionism and Israel are not mutually exclusive. The use, and bastardization of, Jewish symbology by Zionism and it's propaganda machine has long since blurred those lines, and thus it's integral to remain critical and vigilant. Even when Zionists proudly conflate the two to endorse the State of Israel's brutality- you should not deem the acts in and of itself Jewish. There is absolutely nothing Jewish about apartheid, colonialism and hatred.
Antisemitism is an age-old hatred, with the oppressive colonial state of Israel depending on it for survival. When we uproot Antisemitism, when we uproot oppression, division, hatred- we uproot the State of Israel and the Capitalist hegemony itself.
Antisemitism has no place in revolutionary spaces, and as is the case for any other form of discrimination and hatred- it cannot be ran from, only faced head-on. The solution to uprooting Antisemitism from global social infrastructure is not to enforce a new hatred, it is not to oppress another- for the cycle will only continue. We believe that society must educate one another to thus educate our future generations; we must ensure we remove division and hatred from social order, and that includes all forms of hatred.
Division itself must be dissolved to truly revolutionize social order.

ANOTHER MILLION MAN MARCH IN YEMEN PROTESTS AGAINST ISRAEL'S ONGOING GENOCIDE IN THE GAZA STRIP
📹 Scenes from the latest "Million-man March" in Yemen, protesting against "Israel's" ongoing war of genocide in the Gaza Strip.
The Yemeni people have held regular mass protests since the beginning of "Israel's" war of genocide, while the ruling Ansar-Allah movement have repeatedly targeted the commercial and military vessels of "Israel" and its allies using drone and missile strikes in the Bab el-Mandeb straight, at the mouth of the Red Sea.

Allah ﷻ says,
وَالْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍ
“The believers, both men and women, are allies of one another…” (9:71).
The believers’ loyalty to one another must transcend geography, ethnicity, colour and friendship. It must be rooted in the inseverable bond of Islam through which Allah has guided and honoured mankind.

A Dose of Clarity on the Palestinian Storyline
~~ By Valerie Sobel
Whenever Western media, Western governments, Israel, or anyone draws an intentional disconnect between the Palestinians and Hamas, a myriad of lies and warped presumptions are activated.
The political correctness machine, invented by liberals but operated by everyone today with respect to the current war in the Middle East guarantees 100% detachment of the poor Palestinian and his cause from terrorist Hamas. But the cost of this on-going theatre is egregious intellectual corruption; a complete reversal of truth and entire revision of Middle East history.
If Hamas is, indeed, a rogue terrorist regime under which the poor Palestinian is suffering, are we to erase all irrefutable knowledge and evidence of the following?
1. Palestinians elected Hamas as their ruling government in the year 2007 by an overwhelming majority. In their charter, Hamas boldly states aspirations to wipe Israel of the face of the earth in not one but 36 separate articles.
2. Before Hamas, Palestinians produced one Yasser Arafat who founded the art of terrorism and airplane highjacking. No amount of concessions and negotiation with this father of terrorism, for decades, convinced the Palestinians to adopt a two-state solution for peaceful co-existence.
3. Before Yasser Arafat, Palestinians produced another leader, Mohammed Amin al-Husseini, the Mufti of Jerusalem who actively worked against the UN’s two-state solution platform of 1948, led the 1920 Nebi Musa riots against the Jews in the very Jewish Palestine, and established himself as an ally in Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany. During World War II he collaborated with both Italy and Germany by making propagandistic radio broadcasts and by aiding the Nazis recruit 25,000 Bosnian Muslims for the Waffen-SS. The more Jews killed the better for this Palestinian also. On meeting Adolf Hitler, he demanded Hitler opposes the establishment of a Jewish national home in Jewish Palestine.
4. Since the failed Oslo Accords of the 1990s, more 2400 Israelis have been killed or wounded in terror attacks by the Palestinians.
5. Beside popular Hamas membership, Islamic Jihad, The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), Fatah, Tanzim and Muslim Brotherhood -all made up of “innocent” Palestinian citizenry.
6. Palestinian children, from nursery age are systematically taught to regard Jews as the infidel enemy who took their land. Schools employ maps where Israel doesn’t exist. Children are instructed to kill Jews, join ISIS and Hamas for the glory of Islam. This is proudly exhibited to the world as a moral duty for young Palestinians.
7. Palestinian children are also reared for martyrdom by their parents and families. Islam’s promise of eternal life with 72 virgins and the favour of Allah is the goal of life, not life itself. Highest honor is given to families of martyrs who execute Jews.
8. Palestinian families are paid a monthly stipend for life by the Palestinian Authority when a family member is martyred in the duty of slaughtering Jews. It is estimated out of 2000 Gazan terrorists who came into Israel on October 7th to behead, burn alive and kidnap - one half (1000!) were Palestinian citizens who were promised 17,000 shekels and up for broken limbs, rapes and savage killings. For every person kidnapped, they were promised an apartment.
9. Kibbutz Kfar Azza was entirely penetrated and terrorized by scores of Palestinians on foot, on bicycle and motorcycle for the job of massacring babies, children and anything that moved. This was documented in vivid color by a CNN reporter, Hassan Eslaiah.
10. Maps of Sderot police station (first venue of slaughter), homes, businesses and everything inside, including what the family dog looks like and where the safe rooms are….information all meticulously collected by 20,000 regular Palestinians entering Israel on permits to work daily. Without these details provided by everyday Palestinians allowed to enter Israel on goodwill, Hamas had no way to execute the massacres.
11. For as long as the Palestinians have invented themselves as Palestinians to illegitimately lay claim to Jewish ancestral land Romans called Philistine…they have publicly cheered and celebrated every Jewish death. Whether it’s candy distribution or singing and dancing or setting the Israeli flags on fire. The elation at Jewish suffering is generational and feverish and has nothing to do with Hamas origins.
12. Palestinians are first and foremost Sharia Law Muslims of the Quaran. They are no different than the 22 Arab states surrounding Israel that share no love loss for Israel simply because it exists. For Islamic law, the very existence of Israel is diametrically opposite to Quran’s instruction of slaying Jews “wherever you can find them”. Or Qurans’s 177 instructional statements that Jews are “descendants of apes and pigs” and must be slayed.
13. Every sign of millions of Palestinians on the streets of Europe and America today that reads “from the river to the sea” is from the Palestinian charter of driving Israel into annihilation. Every mouth that utters it is calling for the explicit desire for Jewish extermination.
What’s happening today is simple; this is a religious war. It is NOT terrorism. It is certainly no land dispute. It is Jihad in the name of Allah. And every government of the western world knows it.
So why the continued farce of separating and detaching the Palestinians and their “cause” from known history, from Hamas, from Islamic Jihad, from Fatah, from PLO, from Tanzim and PFLP, all Palestinian groups aiming at Israel’s annhialation?
Because an admission of truth will, perish the thought:
a) Delegitimize the UN at its core
b) Force European nations and the US to admit utter failure of decades of foreign policies
c) Force a myriad of civilized countries to quit financial aid to the Palestinians, hence admitting billions of dollars of taxpayer theft.
d) Elucidate the fallacy and fraud of that two-state solution, which was invented by the west (prior to the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948) in order to appease the 22 Arab states. But more importantly…
e) Will immediately unite the Arab world, including nuclear Iran, in a war against the west. This very real and justified fear of Islam and its 2 billion followers who believe in the supremacy of the sword, in beheadings, rapes, massacres and annihilation of western civilization in the name of Allah is palpable. This very basic of human emotions, fear, is the catalyst for every lie, for all the theatre, for all the fraud around the fabricated Palestinian victimhood. It will continue to the end of time until Islam’s demographical strength reaches a critical mass for the destruction of an entire society of Judeo-Christian culture. And then, and only then, truth will be allowed, Islamophobia will be understood not as racial discrimination but as a rational fear rooted in evidence and posing an immediate threat to our existence. And finally, that survival-of-the-fittest meter will begin ticking.
As for Israel and the Jewish plight - the sacrificial lamb, the Jews will continue to repeat “Never Again!”through every atrocity, every raging antisemitic-crime statistic, every American campus pro-Hamas rally with “Kill The Jews” signs, every Jihad war, every Palestinian stabbing and every missile launched at Tel Aviv…until the end of time. Mindlessly parroting something that has never been true, because there is simply no other hope.
Until the west finds its balls against Islam, nothing changes. Western governments’ and media’s established theatre of lies and fraud narratives for the Palestinians and their cause …IS the very manifestation of real justified Islamophobia. Until the west feels an immediate threat to its survival, no matter how many times Israel screams “You’re next!”, nothing changes.

It is so strange to go on and live a normal life everyday when our brothers and sisters in Palestine are suffering unimaginable horrors. It's so jarring to go to work and talk and laugh with people when the people of Gaza have no semblance of normalcy in their lives.
The people of Palestine are not mere numbers. They are part of our ummah that we have failed so miserably. We are happy to partake in a protest or two thinking we've done enough when we were commanded to fight in defense of the oppressed. It's mad how desensitised we're getting to the plight of the ummah and how we're gradually succumbing to a defeatist mentality, where we think there's nothing we can do.
It's because Muslims for decades and decades and decades were satisfied with mere lip service instead of heeding the command of Allah when it comes to defending the oppressed, that we see this horrific day today in Palestine and everywhere else in the ummah. What's happening in Palestine isn't just a test for them, but also a test for us. What did we do for them as an ummah? As individuals? Our ummah in one of our holiest of lands is being decimated by the most despicable people on earth, and what are we doing except watching them be obliterated on live TV?
May Allah forgive us for failing them. May Allah aid them and grant them relief. May Allah accept their shuhadah. May Allah destroy their oppressors and those who ally with evil. May Allah break their backs and paralyse their forces. May Allah use us in His Cause and never replace us.
Keeping them in our sincere duas and boycotting brands that are financially aiding the genocide (like McDonald's, HP, etc.) is the least we can do as individuals.
May we see the downfall of the occupiers in our lifetime, Allahumma ameen.

Dua at Mount Safa and Mount Marwah
Translation
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said when describing the Prophet’s (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pilgrimage: ...and when he approached mount Safa he recited:
“Indeed Al-Safa and Al-Marwah are from the places of worship of Allah…”
“I begin with what Allah began with.”
…so he started with Safa and climbed it until he could see the Kabah, he then faced it and said:
“Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest.”
…and then he would say the following three times making a supplication (one should make a personal supplication) after each time:
“None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone. He fulfilled His promise, aided His slave and single-handedly defeated the allies.”
…he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would repeat this action at Marwah.

I used to like Jon Stewart but his treatment of the Gaza genocide was fucking bullshit.
“No one seems to be incentivized to stop the suffering of the innocent people in this region.” Ansar Allah’s blockade? Allies in Lebanon and Iraq like Hizbullah? South Africa??? The “Cycle of Violence” myth that everyone is at fault when Israel is the one who’s been ethnically cleansing Palestinians with the West’s help for a century. Equating “destroying Israel” (a nonhuman country/state entity) with a call for genocide while the Palestinian people are actually suffering genocide, a word he didn’t use. Saying the UN has been useless when South Africa won their case at the ICJ and it’s the US who has been consistently vetoing ceasefire resolutions. Calling for a Middle East equivalent of NATO—who famously used a UN resolution to fuck over an Arab state before—to create a “demilitarized zone” between Israel and Palestine as if a) that worked for Korea and b) the partition of Palestine or any other state has ever been a fruitful endeavor or at all acceptable in cases of apartheid—to say nothing of the fact that he or his writers seem entirely ignorant of the previous Arab coalitions’ actions in the region.
Fuck Jon Stewart, moment unmet.

if I'm being completely honest i think the one thing I've learnt from Oct 7th is how little i knew about Palestine. Being Muslim, it was a hard pill to swallow because I grew up with constant reminders about Palestine and the struggle for freedom - but it never really occured to me how drastic the situation really was which i guess was the outcome of growing up unoppressed and with first world problems. Anyways, the point I'm trying to make is that I'm truly appreciative of blogs like yours and your mutuals because I have learnt and unlearnt so much. My faith has grown because of the faith shown by Palestinians and I have become so much more aware of life in general. My one wish rn is for all Palestinians to have the right of return and for peace to finally come to their land permanently. Palestinians are truly strong to remain hopeful and even jokey during times of despair.
It sucks to be fully conscious of how terrible and cruel the world actually is but I'm grateful that I'm not living in ignorance anymore. In Sha Allah Palestine will be free and the oppressors will be punished. and In Sha Allah all Palestinians will have their home back
aw thank you so much 🫶🫶 i'm so glad you have learned and unlearned things to become a better ally to palestinians, we appreciate it so much. it's sad how so many people grow up ignorant of what's going on, but that's still no excuse, so alhamdulillah i'm glad i could help you learn what you need to. inshallah palestine will be free within our lifetimes.

do you think the houthis are a proxy of Iran?
The Houthis are not a proxy of Iran, because of two simple reasons: First, Iran state religion is Twelver Shi'a Islam and Ansar Allah belong to the Fiver Shi'a Islamic branch or (Zaidi Shi'a Islam), both of which contradict each other in the theological and political sphere. It makes no sense for Ansar Allah to allow Iran to have a stranglehold on the socio-political sphere of Yemen. However, their anti-imperialist values overlap, which is why they play a significant role in the fight against the US-backed settler state and its allies.
2. The Houthis are concerned with Zaidi revivalism, their ideological purpose is to revive the Imamate, which ceased in the 60s. In Zaidi theology, anyone who is a progeny of the Banu Hashim clan can become an Imam of the Zaidi Shi'as. Some Zaidis claim the wish to establish a democracy. Furthermore, Iran's political and clerical system is not well-received by other Muslim communities, even among Twelvers; if Iran attempted to export the system of Wilayat al-Faqih to Yemen, it would be a recipe for disaster, and would definitely catch the attention of the Gulf states. While the Iranian Twelvers and the Yemenite Zaidis make up the Axis of resistance, they do not always share the same geopolitical goals.

Lemme remind you about something. There's no such thing a futile effort when it comes to supporting Palestine and Palestinian people. Every post related to Palestine that you give a like and share, every thought about Palestine that's swirling inside your head, every word you write and speak to raise awareness, every person you try to educate about Palestine, every feeling you have for Palestinian people, every tear that streams down your face anytime you watch Palestinian people being shot, tortured, butchered, shot, bombed, massacred, and starve to death, every remembrance of Palestine and its people in your day-to-day life, every prayer you make, and any other thing you do for Palestine—will never go in vain.
Because Allah is The All-Seeing and The All Hearing. He knows everything you've been doing for Palestine and its people. He knows how much you want to help and support Palestinian people. You know what, He'll reward all good and sincere deeds you do. And He'll help you to do better, He definitely will. So please, don't ever give up, okay? Because if you truly want to be a good ally, if you truly want to be a good friend for Palestinian people, then you gotta keep yourself going. Palestine needs you and me and all of us, always remember that.
