Another Love

So few days ago I was casually listening to music and this song stared playing and all I could think about since then was how perfectly HarryKim vibe this song has for me.

I believe that after everything Harry went through, even given his high sensitivity and emotionality, he seems likely to just have a lot of doubts and be afraid of another disappointment and potential heartbreak. Given that he decides to quit drinking and become more capable of taking care of himself in general terms, that fright won't be without cover. Another story like the one with Dora would probably just break him completely and he will just go down without any hopes for ever coming back. Especially, knowing how emotionally distant Kim can be.

(There are some scenes of my post-Return headcanon, I am thinking about publishing this as a full story, but I cannot decide if I want to make it as comic or fic series or a mix of everything, so maybe one day)

I mentioned this briefly yesterday but basically my mom lost her little purse while walking the dogs and we’ve looked everywhere in our neighborhood and someone definitely took it bc it’s nowhere to be found. We have no way to track the location of anything in it bc she still has her phone, but the purse contained literally everything else we had. All of our money and all of my mom’s cards and important items were in it and now we have absolutely nothing. all purpled has wanted is to be noticed. to have a legacy. to be someone anyone else can look at and know he’s of importance. to know his impact, his name, who he is and what he stands for. to be able to just take a single glance at and recognize instantly, from the stories and effects he’s had on the world around him. and that’s exactly what tommy is and has. even if they’ve never interacted with him, everyone knows tommy. they know he’s loud, quick-to-action, rebellious, and maybe annoying, depending on who you ask. they know of his house, his pet(s), the wars he’s fought in and won—the wars he’s fought in and lost. they know his friends and family and relation to the server as a whole. how he’s impacted and changed it around him. no one could tell you of purpled’s cabin. his underground base. his cave. no one could tell you of dogchamp, of his role in the revolutionary war or in the pogtopia vs manberg war. they could not tell you if he has friends. they could not tell you a single thing about him.

alternatively, all tommy wants is to be left alone. to be invisible. he doesn’t want to have his possessions out for everyone to see. he doesn’t want his alliances and bonds known for anyone to use against him. his house has been griefed more times than he can count; tubbo has nearly died so many times because of his alliance with tommy; his discs have been the very thing that’s torn his entire life apart since the beginning. people are prone to keeping him at an arm’s length, even if they’ve never really spoken to him, all because they know all-too-well the trouble that he seemingly brings. tommy is at the eye of the hurricane, forced to watch as everything around him is torn apart because of his mere existence. nothing good has come from being well-known. there is nothing he would want more than to be in purpled’s shoes. to be left alone and forgotten by the server at large. to finally have peace. to be able to walk down the prime path and have nobody acknowledge his presence asides from a cordial hello and nothing more.

purpled is ruthless. he’s apathetic. he doesn’t care about others unless they can help him in some way. he’s not social, or kind, and his naturally abrasive and deadpan nature makes it difficult for him to forge new bonds. tommy did not get to where he is by being like purpled. tommy thrived most when he was helping others for the sake of it, when he was surrounded by a community of people just as hopeful and eager as him. purpled would not survive a day in tommy’s shoes. he could never have the life tommy does because they are, by nature, polar opposites. whereas tommy did everything he could to stop wilbur from pressing the button, purpled probably would’ve done it himself for the infamy and legacy it held. tommy grew close to ranboo partially due to not selling them out during his exile trial. if ranboo hadn’t had something to offer purpled, he would’ve thrown him under the bus in a heartbeat to certify his own survival. tommy has everything purpled wants in theory. in concept, he is the very thing purpled would hate to become.

and likewise, tommy is kind. he puts others before himself. he prioritizes helping others and making sure everyone is happy. purpled was forgotten largely due to his reclusive nature. purpled is more than okay with being by himself for months on end. he thrives when left alone, when he has no one to drag him down or hold him back. he betrays people on a whim as long as another party can offer him a better deal. tommy could never bring himself to do such a thing, and therefore, he could never have gone down the path purpled did. purpled got left alone partially for his reputation of being a ruthless killer—an assassin for hire—and that is something tommy could never bring himself to do, even if it meant true freedom of isolation. no one can thrive invisible, but especially not tommy, especially not when the means to become so are so caked in blood.

i might not be able to ocpost in form of a new drawing today (fucking damnit) but.,,,, have this more than a year old drawing of the oc lore mc,, (his name is yaku, or okazaki yaku if you wanna use the full name). pls hold this little critter as i try to give some tiny bit of oc lore info about this guy and the main antagonist below the cut

Yaku is more of a confused and anxious guy at the start as he literally knows nothing (he just died and got to afterlife, let him have a moment to adapt). Which then gradually turns into being more serious and (mostly) collected in specific situations, while also being a big overthinker that is nervous about anything sudden happening. He is a 20 year old man that slowly forms a family bond with like. everyone at his now "forever" job (Except for a few). That same job being fucking hand-picked out of the billions of people out there to become one of the warriors at the top company of what would be "Hell" to take on many different tasks and requests, as well as the protection of the world he now belongs to. Though at the same job, Yaku is considered as 𝘵𝘩𝘦 weakest employee/warrior, literally weaker than the fighter that is a child (All because of a certain lore mechanic for those same warriors or fighters but it is,,, too much to explain in one post). All the employees were supposed to be blessed by the Gods as to truly be worth of the role that grants great responsibility for the billion of souls living in the same world they are in, and Yaku did get his blessing, Blessing of Thunder.

Moving a bit further from that, Yaku has very big attachment issues in a way that he will get emotionally attached to someone a bit toooo hard if he truly enjoys their company (literally what happened with him and all of his coworkers he loves them all so much). The problem is that one of those of coworkers is quite literally the main antagonist, Kenix or Yi Dal if you prefer his real name (has lore mechanics attached to him based off one of the Deadly Seven Sins). Yea Kenix's and Yaku's relationship is fucking complicated, especially since Kenix is Yaku's uncle (i don't have the time to explain the confusing family tree okay)

Kenix has a brain rot going on, in the quite literal sense (He is cursed and with each day, he loses his sanity and detaches from himself more and more to the point of not being able to have full control over his actions if he is just. a tad bit more insane than usual), so he treats Yaku very badly in the first story arc. He wants to feel guilt over his actions, he desperately wants to be able to feel empathy for his nephew - but with every passing day, he is forgetting about his morals as he is losing 𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧. Despite all that, Yaku is already way too heavily attached to Kenix as he is his relative (some heavy found family shit is going on), so he tries to see the best in him, give Kenix a new chance each time to prove that he can get better. But that is not happening any time soon, Yaku,,,,

anyways ending the ocpost at this. I am sorry if this is a cringe premise for the lore but i swear. i poured my heart into this for more than two years and it means so so SO much to me it is my most comfort thing ever, it will make sense later on with more posts like these [screaming and crying] (and if you wanna,,, you can send asks about specific oc lore parts you want to know or just the ocs in general,,, just saying)
