Additional notes on the lad!!

Stormy was admittedly … dubious, at first, about the prospect of another child.  Sure, Clumsy had managed it, but he was living a very different life to her, and she didn’t want her twins to feel like she was trying to replace them. But at the same time … Stormy kind of felt like she’d missed out. Sure it wasn’t necessarily her fault, she knew she probably would have resented feeling “trapped” in the village but even so.. well, she knows deep down she’d be quite interested in trying for another, especially since Mint was a fellow Grover so her issues with the village were negated.

Smurfstorm is very used to authoritative control, whether through being a scout  captain or from parenting the twins (who she raised until early childhood, at least). She knows very well how to deal with boisterous and high energy Smurfs, so when her third son turns out to be a quiet, shy little thing … she’s admittedly a little bit perplexed. She’s so used to dealing with hot     headed and slightly rebellious natures that when Dragon just wants to finger paint or follows her instructions first time she’s genuinely surprised XD

The twins, admittedly, were a bit more cautious of hearing their mother was     going to give them a half sibling. Unlike Mari who lives with them, they knew their new half-sib would only be a semi-frequent presence in their lives, and worried they were being replaced. Stormy and Clumsy sat down with the twins one evening to explain some grown up stuff, and Stormy assured them they’d never be replaced. Once the twins met SmurfDragon for the first time all fears of jealousy vanished - they loved him! :) And besides now Mari has a Smurfling to play with that’s closer to her age.

Dragon has the same genetic condition as his half-brothers, hence the early-onset  hair growth.

If Mari is water focused, Dragon is air (is Crash fire and Bolt Earth? XD).     Despite being both too young and admittedly kind of scared of dragonflies, it’s very much his future dream to tame and own one. He also likes them for having his name in common. Though he likes Andante’s butterfly Tulip  for the time being since she’s a lot sweeter :3

Dragon is a selective-mute, even as he gets older. He’s fine talking around his  family or friends that he’s comfortable with but will completely clam up  around strangers or when he gets stressed. More often he’ll communicate with head gestures and body language if he’s with people he doesn’t know.
