Idk if we're all joking that the LVGP is like the Hunger Games because the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes comes out tomorrow, but like in reality, it isn't that far off. The absurd displays of wealth for entertainment as a distraction for the very real poverty and destitution in Nevada (and all the other social issues going on right now) is straight up written by Suzanne Collins. The driver introductions are like a combo of the chariot introduction scene and the scene right before they're lifted into the arena. All the betting going on this weekend is just like the betting that went on with the tributes. And I know that the Hunger Games are modeled after the Roman gladiators, but I think the idea includes the general spectacle of Ludi, including the chariot racing aspect. And sure, no one dies at the end of this (I hope) but like in the words of Cato, your participation is a death sentence anyways (I'm being metaphoric here).

Imagine seeing the other demons (The Deadly Sins and the Ars Goetia) that are part of Lucifer’s infernal court. For example, Lucifer holds a celebration in his lair (maybe for your anniversary). You’re nervous at first, but Lucifer’s confidence is a little infectious. No one would dare insult (or threaten) The King or his bride anyway; their negative feelings didn’t matter. Most of the demons are also happy to learn about the birth of Charlie.

It’s tempting to think about how the upper echelon of Hell would react. I love the idea that no matter what, they’d all love or at least have a soft spot for Charlie (she’s so much like her dad and I enjoy the HC that the other Princes and such are soft for Luci so don’t try to take his crown - both he and Charlie are sort of like novelties in that they remind these other fallen angels of what Heaven used to be like for them).

Reader is probably also a novelty of sorts when she’s introduced. For a variety of reasons 😉

This was actually so insanely fun??? I wasn't sure how modern u were doing for so I dragged him back to Ancient Greek vibes, but here's your Hypnos!Classic because he just vibes so well!!! (As far as I know you didn't already have designs for these guys, so I just winged it 😅)

I ended up giving him Wings instead of a hood because I noticed a lot of symbols of Hypnos have wings coming from his back/ears and I thought it'd be fun if they were around his neck/shoulders lol. I also tried to keep him recognizable, but give him a few gold accents (<- because I love drawing Gold) and use his Blue/Yellow motif across his design? And of course the mist is just kinda smth I picked up from other versions of Hypnos I've seen lol-
