The Void

Since I was feeling overwhelmed by it I wanted to sublimate it trough writing, and here I am.

Trough various meditations and dreams I got many gnosis about the Void and much more entailed in its semantic area.

Similar to the Apophatic approach for theology, a soul's greatest achievement is surely reaching a state of Vacuity. Only Silence prevails in such state and it also gets to a whole new meaning, beyond what we're normally used to. The individual gets completely dissolved in all of its obstruction and illusions just to reach the apotheosis in Nothing, only pure Darkness in Silence. Back at the beginning of my path I acknowledge a State of existence beyond any dimensionality, such are its core principles.

Alogos; As the Silence being the only (Non-) thing that matters, the manifestation of the unmanifested, from the Sea of Nothingness, this is the Logos of Silence, The Word of the Aeon of the Aeons.

Azothos - Sothoza; Paradoxical duality reunified, Life and Entropy in Silence, the Azoth. Vitality of Not, Infinite Pleasure in Absence of Desire, Eternal Dream of a Non-Life. Totality and Point-Individuality coexisting harmoniously.

Achronos; Eternal Present as a Dream, Aeons and Instants have no differences.

In what I call the Land of Silence, a state of existence and (A)dimensionality, the Perfected occultist abodes freely of everything but themselves, in a dead and dreamlike state, beyond dimensionality and time, in extreme ecstasy. Silence becomes their language and they achieve the Unified state of Azothos - Sothoza

Do you have your favorite arts of Garou?

Well of course, but we probably need to be more specific. 🧐 Is this about fanarts, or official manga/webcomic arts? Cause we could be here all day!

If it's fanartists then some of my favorites (gen content only) include the works by tt-vision (toklampa) for capturing the perfect balance of his cool/feral/dorky sides and his tough/reluctant tsun side with Tareo just right. (runlittlebluelady also provides the angsty + wholesome Tareo content!) Bonus style points go to mitsuemachi, azotho, and banana-banshee for all their cool takes on him!

For eastern artists I really like the way nogu (no__gu444) draws his face; their style just really captures his age and I'm always going :D!!!! when I see new stuff by them (seriously LOOK AT HIM he’s perfect serotonin. ;o;) MiEn_TTu probably has one of the most fluid/minimal styles that works so well for him, and then mayo_OPM has rendered some very impressive stuff that's always most flattering to him and his physique/musculature.

But if we're talking official arts by Murata, then....the vol18 cover is my favorite (no surprise), but then there's so many panels and moments of different moods/energies to choose from! Like, are we talking when he’s at his most impressive (story-wise) or at Murata’s most indulgent, or when in my opinion Murata draws him looking his best? Like among these ikemen faces?

However if you're asking for specific art spreads I'd want to personally hang on my wall, it'd probably be from one of these:

Cause you can't beat the classic feral spiderman pose aesthetic(tm), his intense focus and poise/grace for his martial artforms, and.....well, if you were to point a gun to my head to make me choose, the colored one is so GOOD ;o; it'd have to be the one where he fiercely protects Tareo, because protective Garou is my favorite that just encompasses everything. <3

He doesn't really remember what age he started smoking cigars, but he knew it was younger than he should have

Something about the pleasant burn with each inhale calmed him tremendously

It was a bonus that Miranda was trying to buy his devotion, so he would get the most expensive ones possible; Cuban cigars in Romania was not an easy purchase, but there it was

As he aged and more clearly recognized how horrid Miranda was, his habit worsened until there was hardly a time he did not have a cigar between his lips

Becoming addicted had never even crossed his mind; he didn't even label it as that until you eventually pointed it out

If he goes longer than an hour without a cigar, he is a complete asshole (more so than usual)

Of course, you wanted him to cut down a bit because any addiction is not healthy, but there were some days when his withdrawal symptoms were too much to handle

He's already a short-tempered asshole on good days; without nicotine in his system he can be unbearable

Sometimes he'd get so enthralled with whatever he is working on that he wouldn't think about smoking and wouldn't understand why he was getting so easily pissed off when something didn't work as he wanted

Without a word, you'd bring him a cigar and light it for him; he'd calm down pretty soon after that, but wouldn't connect the dots as to why

One time, when you two were in an argument you suddenly tossed him a cigar and told him to smoke it; he looked at you with a confused expression and you explained the effects of nicotine

If you vape, he'll judge it at first, talking about how cigars are high-quality and an art, but one day you'll definitely find him hitting it and eventually, he'll get his own

Even then he’ll never fully quit actually smoking; it’s a personality trait at this point

All of his clothes reek of cigar smoke and are littered with small burn holes caused by the ashes

It may bother you at first, but the smell turns into a comfort aroma for you

Each time you bury your head into his chest, you’re overwhelmed with the scent — and you love it, because you love him

I’m posting these pictures of Fai D. Flowright from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles and Chii from Chobits because they are inspiration for artwork of Leonhard and Chelsea in To Rise From Ashes. Gonna post the new chapter soon, just don’t know how soon because I’m a procrastinator and my sleep schedule is fucked. (Oops)

Have I mentioned that I’m a huge fan of CLAMP’s manga? They are my inspiration for drawing and I’ve admired them for years. If I had to recommend a manga of theirs to start with, it would be Cardcaptor Sakura. It was my first, and it would transition you well into my favorite works by them, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles and xxxholic (the title doesn’t match the content of the story—that’s part of the beauty of CLAMP). These two series tie into each other, and the more you read CLAMP’s works, the more you realize that everything they’ve created, even stuff that’s post-TRC, all tie into each other. Hell, you realize in some way or another that Cardcaptor Sakura ties into TRC even more with the introduction new “antagonist” in Clear Card. Now that I think about it, time and space is pretty much as convoluted in CLAMP’s manga as the Soulsborne universe, if not more. 🤔
