Like Tom said, Loki tends to try and achieve repentance through self-sacrifice. So, I'm really glad that Mobius stepped up and made solving the time slipping a priority and didn't let Loki go chasing after Sylvie and Dox at the expense of his own health and wellbeing at the end of 2x01. It's one of my favorite little moments in the series. Mobius could see that Loki was upset that he'd had to betray Sylvie, and that he was already making the assumption that he was in the wrong in the situation and needed to make it up to her through self-sacrifice. And so Mobius called bullshit and didn't let him, reminding Loki that his needs (not capricious wants, but genuine human needs) were as important as everyone else's. B-15 backed this up when she volunteered to go looking for Dox and Sylvie in his stead.

It's this brief, wonderful contrast to the start of the episode, where Loki is wandering the TVA alone, unable to anchor himself to any point in time and completely unsure of what to do next. Mobius, then B15, become the anchors that he needs (and OB, too), and suddenly, even without Loki prioritizing himself, there's a solution to the problem that he was trying to ignore and white knuckle his way through.

And maybe it's because of this that I feel like there has to be another chapter to this story. Loki has done what he always does and has sacrificed his own happiness (and possibly health - we don't know what effect powering the whole timeline may have on him) for everyone else. So, imo, it's time for everyone else to call bullshit and work their damndest to get him out of there. Or, at least, it should be.

I’m scared for my lil guy Mobius on the timelines all by himself. What if some non-Kang related big bad who has managed to evade the reformed TVA’s watch and wants to control a bunch of timelines puts 2 and 2 together, realises that Möbius was a key player in helping establish Loki at the centre of the Yggdrasil (that Loki cares deeply about Mobius and visa versa) and comes after him in the hopes to oust Loki? Part of me feels like Mobius could handle it but Mobius doesn’t have big scary dog privileges anymore girlies, what with Loki being tangled up at the Citadel and it worries me. Sylvie is a slippery lil sword wielding snake (affectionate) who’s entire childhood WAS self-preservation and survival, she’ll be fine. B15, O.B and Casey are all somewhat afforded better protection from within the TVA but what about Mobius? He’s just a lil mourning retiree trying to make a new life for himself. What if danger finds him? I trust B15 to have some sort of protection and emergency measures in place for him but what if it’s not enough?

I think my issue with TFoH and why I am perfectly fine with an arc 4 is that as a regular wof book, it's passable. Kinda mid, but overall a good read. As a series finale, it falls flat on its face. Essentially all the book boils down to is one massive lore dump. Theres no huge battle, no deaths. It's already an underwhelming ending to arc 3, let alone the series as a whole

If Wings of Fire is going to end, it deserves to go out with a bang. Not the book where the protagonist spends the majority being held prisoner

I can't even begin to fathom what Loki must have felt for CENTURIES while he was learning about physics, mechanics and engineering to save the lives of everyone he loves...

Whilst learning all he could from every expert he could find, he was probably constantly thinking about Mobius, Sylvie, OB, B15, Casey and Timely's lives being at stake in the TVA before the loom burst.

Does this mean he was constantly tweaking the equation, time slipping back to that moment time and time again only to fail miserably every time. When he gets to go back to that timeline, he is emotionally going through so much because not only can he meet his friends again but he can also interact with them, even if it's through this terrible crisis?

Oh god, I can even imagine him going back in time to those comfort moments in his life like those times he met Mobius, or maybe his moments on the Lamentis with Sylvie, or even those moments with Casey when he marvels up at the TVA in Episode 1 just to be with them... Or even worse, he goes back in time to moments with his family (Frigga, because I can just see him going back when he can't figure out how to fix the Loom and going back to his mother for emotional support and advice. Or to Thor, because despite everything, he is his brother. And maybe even to Odin as well.)

Ugh, this just messes with me so much! I know that scene is supposed to be hilarious (and it was, so much so!), but the fact that Loki spent all of time trying to figure out how to save the universe on his own in a timeline where no one remembers the interactions he makes is absolutely fucking heartbreaking! ;_;

And then he ultimately ends up choosing to be alone, because that is his only viable option. This BREAKS MY HEART SO MUCH.

All he wanted was to be with them, his FOUND FAMILY! *cries*

I can't... This season finale is absolutely mind-blowing and amazing! I cannot even begin to tell you how immensely powerful that scene was at the very end! <3

He literally embodied all of time, always, with his actions and his ultimate sacrifice of his own existence in the end.

I realise the whole Loki being pruned in the future and the stuff with Sylvie and the phone is going to be very relevant to the plot somehow and having Loki arrive in the future made the scene more climatic because nobody seemed to have a time stick, but still it would’ve of been funny if Loki ended up in the past again, found past Mobius and tried to get him to prune him:

Loki: Here I am! You can prune me now!

Mobius: What!! There are protocols

Loki: Just do it! You were going to do it earlier

Mobius: You being so desperate to get prunded is making me not want to do it, what’s up with you? Who wants to get pruned, do you even know what will happen to you?

Loki: Yes, but trust me if you don’t prune me right now, at some point in the future all your skin will peel off.

Mobius: You’re not making any sense! Who even are you? *Looks at Loki in his manic state and softens slightly* You know what you’re clearly not in your right mind, come to my office and we can talk about this

Loki: There isn’t time! I have about 40 seconds left *Notices B15 approaching them* B15! I can rely on her! *Runs towards B15* B15 I need you to pru-

B15: *Prunes him before he can even finish his sentence*

Mobius: Hey! What you do you that for?! I was starting to like him

B15: He was an imposter, and before he came towards me he looked like he was going to tackle your time stick off you

Mobius: Nah, he seemed like a little pussycat to me

Not sure if dislike is the right word, but im not the biggest fan of book 15, big surprise, i know, but like... For a book tittled 'the flames of hope' i was expecting some action

When i finally managed to get my hands on book 15 and began reading i was legit yelling at the page for Luna to shoot the Silkwing being controled by Wasp, it was a sleeping dart, the Silkwing would have been fine, if she shot them, there was no way of the Hivewings finding the others that were invisible. Im sure it would take a while for another Silkwing to come over and try to detect them so they could have just flown away

And then we get to where the Breath of Evil was, i was expecting for Luna to use her silk and burn the plant entirely, since, yknow, whats gonna control her? The ashes? But nope, she was stuck on a mind room with a child and two zombies for... What 10+ chapters?

Oh and also Wasp is just one tapped by rainwing venom, which... Cmon just give Luna the kill
