Dark Aemond/Dark!Aegon x reader modern au;

The devil made us sin

Concept: It is 2023 in Westeros, King's Landing. Crimelord Viserys Targaryen's drugs imperium fell down hard and was divided over his two children Aegon and Rhaenyra. The elections are coming up and Baaros Baratheon plans to take the seat of King's Landing and become president in this surreal strange westeros. You are the daughter of Lord Beesbury and your life gets complicated when it turns out that you have a famous doppelganger.

Warnings: Kidnapping forced marriage, celebrities, sex tapes, westeros made up drugs, drugs, drugsdealing, killing, prostitution and mention of torture and *reads notes * scattering around body parts...

The title is the tribute to my favourite fanfic out there. It has been deleted. The fanfic is inspired by this but I did respect the author enough that I wanted different things♡

The year is 2023. King's Landing has changed, and so has our story. We now see King's Landing in modern times where families still fight for power, justice, and love.

Aegon Targaryen has always been one to lurk. From the top of his Penthouse in the Lion's Claws, he has a good view at the city. The people are nothing but little dots waiting for a hammer to smash them like the useless ants they are.

It is 7:15 according to his computer. And he is already drinking a good glass of wine. Imported from Dorne, like most of his export trades.

His brother enters his office before slamming a newspaper on his desk. Aegon reads the headlines and frowns when he sees the smirking bitch face of a young women. Close to Aemond's age. 'This is going to be our solution.' Aegon worries. He has been worrying about the territory for some time now. Rhaenyra and her playboy take away more and more from him with every day that passes.

It did not help that the former torture guy also betrayed Aegon and ran to her side. Aemond has taken over the torture sessions, and Aegon think it is doing wonders for his mental health to sometimes cut people and to take away parts of their bodies.

His brother's sapphire eye glances at him when he walk away from the window. Aegon patiently waits for Aemond to explain himself.

'A newspaper?' He asks, confused.

Cole still stands by Aegons' side and keeps guard.

'I think Aemond is referring to what's on the newspaper.' He dryly says.

Aegon shoots him a hateful glare. 'No shit.' He growls out.

Aemond starts his explanation. 'She is single.' He says, referring to the woman. If the things that that show implied about her are half true, than that does not surprise Aegon at all.

The Green King sits down on his desk chair. 'Like most women. What do you want with her?' He is curious what his brother wants with this women. She is not his usual taste.

The Kinslayer keeps his hands on the table and points to the stag on the girls' shirt. 'I have a plan, but I need your approval first before we set steps. If we mess this up, we can be risking our entire organisation.' He says that like the organisation isn't in trouble right now. Every day that passes is a slap to what crimelord Viserys Targaryen had build. When he died, his son and daughter fought over his territory turning King's Landing into two separate areas.

Whatever it is that Aemond is suggesting, this needs to be good and it needs to be a realistic plan.

'It better be a good plan.' Aegon leans back and waits for his brother to start telling.

'It is.' He sound so eager. Like when they were both boys again.

'So, this girl is called Floris.' He taps the picture of a snooty looking tall girl rocking a fur coat with tall boots and glittery jeans in a white shirt with a stag on it.

Aegon frowns. 'I saw that bitch before...' He mutters.

Cole nods.

'She had her sex tape leaked to What's Westeros.' Aemond nearly drops his newspaper, and even Aegon has trouble with the idea of Cole, their parental figure enjoying porn.

Aegon shakes away that thought.

'No, not from that. Is she famous or something?' He asks.

Aemond nods. 'Yes. Over 15 million people follow her on Dragongra. She has been in TV shows and films. Her daddy wants to become the next president of King's Landing. Rumour is, he does not like what we did to the place.' There is a brief proud smirk on Aemond's lips when he tells that.

His brother nods in agreement but can't fight a small smirk as well. 'You did scatter the remains of that Strong asshole everywhere, when you were done torturing him.' It was a sight to behold when the body parts started washing up ashore everywhere, and Aemond delivered the head of Luc to Rhaenyra's house. He also attached a small microphone and could hear how hard Rhaenyra screamed when she realised what was done to her son.

He and Aegon bursted into laughter at that, and the Black Queen then found out someone was listening in. She destroyed the microphone but they didn't mind it. Aemond still counts that as his best victory. Kickstarting this wonderful war. 'He asked for it. So did his annoying mommy whore.' He says proudly.

He continues his case.

'The laws on anti drugs will change if he comes to power. We are already risking 5 years in prison, the guys worry this is going to end up like fucking Dorne and that we spend 20 years if we get caught sniffing a bit of Drac* in the bathroom.'

'How will his daughter help?' Aegon asks a bit bored.

'That is the beauty of it, Aegon. She will be our little hostage. Surely we can motivate her father this way to stay the fuck out of our business.'

He does not like the sound of that. This girl made a porn for fucks sake. She eyes spoiled entitled and annoying. How will they keep her in track and make her behave?

'And if she won't behave? Have you thought about that? If he won't cooperate anyway? This whole plan sounds like a risk, and I already lost so much territory as it is!' He didn't mean to shout, but he did.

His brother grabs his hands.

'We'll get it back, we'll double it, and when I find that silver haired whore that mothered all those bastards, I'll cut her into pieces and scatter her useless body everywhere.' The Kinslayer promises. 'I was thinking of forcing Floris to by my wife. How does that sound? We can profit from this if we do this right. If we don't....Well: I'm already wanted in the Storm Lands so...'

Aegon gives him a glare. 'You'll get her, but you'll only get her for the blackmail. You don't get feelings for her, you don't care for her and you won't risk anything for her. If I do notice you getting feelings, I'll chop off your cock.' Aemond nods accepting that that is the deal.

Aegon sighs but accepts.

'Get that Stag bitch.'

When I tell you that Drac is short for Dracerys and that its a drug made in Essos and that it looks like black ashes and that you sniff it so you feel as IF YOU WERE RIDING A DRAGON.

That's how bad the Lore is of thus fanfic. It's full of westeros drugs.

Ok but Aemond being really sick after having his eye cut out so MeeMaw Vhagar sets herself up on the beach at Blackwater Bay to keep watch over him because these dumb humans have already proved how inept they are at looking after her new, small child.

Nobody dares to try and get her to move and she remains there until Aemond is well enough to watch her through the window. He’s desperate to go flying again but Alicent refuses point blank until Aegon steps in tells her she needs to let Aemond do this.

And MeeMaw Vhagar is like “OK kid, let’s ride” and doing all these aerial stunts with her tiny rider because she’s old as fuck and knows what she’s doing whilst everyone freaks out below.

I love that the irony of Aemond and Alicent is that they kind of parallel each other.

Parentified eldest daughter and parentified eldest daughter (in vibes, ok? he's totally eldest daughter in vibes).

Supports and gives everything (Ali; her youth, body, and time. Aemond; the throne, his mother's love, and helaena ig, kinda, in a helaemond way) to a man (Viserys, Aegon) that doesn't appreciate it.

And then getting into a relationship with a lover far older than you (Viserys, Alys), that is toxic, or maybe not toxic, but definitely dark.

It's like he's just following in her footsteps and I'm not even sure he knows.

Some plot holes created in House of the Dragon so far;

This is not me hating on the show itself or any of the characters btw, I'm enjoying it so far despite the changes but once I started thinking about it I couldn't stop, lol. Reasons to follow the source material fr

SPOILERS FOR THE BOOK LOOK AWAY IF YOU DON'T WANT THEM

1. Leanor's "death". I was actually happy as hell when they let him live and only faked his death because I love Leanor and didn't want that family to suffer more after just losing Laena. Buuut that creates a whole bunch of problems. First, Leanor as a character; he faked his own death to run away right after his parents just lost their daughter, his nieces their mother and his own claimed sons lost their real father. That's lowkey selfish as hell but it can be excused because that's what he wanted for himself, to finally be able to live freely. I can see him making that decision. What can't be excused is him sailing away instead of flying with Seasmoke. Why? Well, to begin with the bond between a dragon and it's rider has been ruined more than once in the show so far and this is one example. Seasmoke knows Leanor is not dead, you can't trick a dragon. Dragons only bond with new riders when they lose their prior ones so Seasmoke won't get a new rider unless Leanor dies off screen wherever he went or they just say fuck it to dragons' loyalty. If Seasmoke doesn't get a new rider, his role in the dance is basically erased and team black loses one rider from their side.

2. The final scene of episode 9, of Rhaenys crashing the coronation. Now this one is a whole bunch of problems and it honestly pisses me off because apparently, someone just decided that it would be badass.

It's a known fact that the townfolk is in favour of the Greens in the book and against Rhaenyra and that scene with Rhaenys gave them all the more reason to be on that side. She killed hundreds, maybe thousands of innocent citizens just to make an entrance.

The entrance of which made no sense btw. Without going into too much detail, later on in the dance the dragon pit will be stormed and the dragons inside will die, some because of the ceiling collapsing on them. Yet, in that scene, Rhaenys flew straight through without her dragon, or herself for that matter how did she not get hurt during that stunt, taking any damage.

There's also the issue about the rest of the dragons that were supposed to be in the pit. Sunfyre, Dreamfyre? Vhagar was surely nearby? And none of these dragons got hurt during the destruction OR EVEN WORSE, CAME TO PROTECT THEIR RIDERS WHO'S LIVES WERE THREATENED?

Then Rhaenys just... Left? Somehow her dragon shrunk in size to get through the doors, LOL. Someone said she didn't kill the noble family because it wasn't her war but like... It is? Her whole family is on that side? Her granddaughters, his son in law, her future grandsons in law, her husband? It IS her war. She did not do anything because that scene never happened in the book and they couldn't fuck up continuity further.

Additionally, in the book, there IS a dragon scene during the coronation. It's between Sunfyre and Aegon. Aegon arguably has the best relationship with his dragon throughout the entire story and they took out any opportunities to show that. Similarly, in the book when Aemond has his eye cut out, Vhagar roars in the distance to show that their new bond is solid.

And again, because of that scene alone, Aemond being a fuck ass and killing Luke in the finale won't be just him being a petty psycho. He'll still be a bitch with no honour for doing it during peace talks, but just before that, Rhaenys would have crashed his brother's coronation and killed so many of his people and threatened his whole family. It makes it seem like team Black hit first instead.

But EVEN THEN, there's another problem with Aemond. Wherein the book, he was loyal as hell to Aegon from beginning to an end, refusing to be called king and only going by regent, he's now envious of his brother and wanting the crown? My god

And don't get me started on taking away majority of Alicent and Rhaenyra's wrongdoings to whitewash them. Alicent doesn't have half the agency in the dance that she originally had, although it turned her into a really interesting character that I enjoy watching (mostly because of the performance. Olivia Cooke I love you FR). Rhaenyra on the other hand, is so whitewashed that it's hard to distinguish wether she's now mature and calm or just bland.

A mess y'all, a mess.
