Introduction.

Hello, hello! My name is Alzis Myers, and I am a naturally born psychic... No, I do not also specialize in psychic type pokemon. Stop asking.

I am a history enthusiast, and while I do work professionally, (you may have heard my name in a few places,) most of my research and findings are independent. Unless it's peer-reviewed, take it with a grain of salt!

However, I primarily made this account not to publish my musings, but as an attempt to socialize! If I come off as off-putting, I truly, truly apologize. It has been a while since I've held proper conversations.

But, enough about me. I'm not a Pokemon trainer, but I have three Pokemon of my own.

Delphi (♀️) - My Absol. The partner I've had longest, and my best friend. She's an older girl now.

Kiran (♂️) - My Cubone. He's still very young and small. I've had him for about a year and a half now.

Atlas (???) - My Sigilyph. It's an Alpha. I am not quite sure about many things regarding it, but it enjoys patrolling my property, I think.

I shall be getting a proper image of them soon!

Hello! This is the OOC part of the introduction >:) I follow from @act11as! Muse is an adult, mod is a minor, don't be weird, etc.

Please note the blanket unreality warning in the description, I do not tag #unreality to avoid flooding the tag, but I do try to tag all non-out of character posts with #pkmn irl in case you need to block things from your dashboard at times! On that same note, OOC posts will be tagged as such, and I will mark them with green text (though often not past the first line, because it can be grating to look at after a while)

All trigger warnings will be tagged as "[word] tw" for the sake of consistency. And if I forget to tag something, please shoot me a dm or an ask!

Additionally: Please note that I am autistic and very chronically ill. I may have to end things earlier than they were planned to be because I just suddenly had a flare-up, and I often misinterpret/forget things, o7 please feel free to remind/correct me if I do!

Literally any kind of pokemon irl blog can interact! Sentient pokemon, eebydeebies, evil teams, whatever. I'm chill with anyone, though the muse may not be, keep this in mind. If you want to do something, send me a dm! I'm more than happy to discuss things ^^

IN CHARACTER anon hate, be it just being an ass, homophobia, transphobia etc. etc. are perfectly fine. Note that I probably wont respond to all, especially if it seems to go a bit too far. (same vein: Feel free to start arguments with him if you want. It's always fun to write him angry <3)

Omg, such a difficult question!! I've seriously been looking at the National Dex on Bulbapedia for five minutes now trying to figure out a good fit. My immediate reaction is to go with my favorites. Umbreon, or Absol, or Skarmory. But that's not right. So I kept looking and I found it. The perfect match.

Tinkaton!! She's tiny and pink and cute, but boyyyyy, you better not mess with her!

Emperor Belos’ Pokemon Team and how he got them.

(Warning: lots of gifs below)

Absol

Belos’ oldest partner. Even before he became Emperor Belos, the man who become him nearly always had an Absol accompanying him. Absols tended to notice and sense the tragedy and predict the events that followed the man, mostly just from living on the Boiling Isles for as many years as he had. His latest partner has been with him for the entirety of the past fifty years. He also helps Belos predict when the magic in his body is building up to a transformation and prepare for it. Belos nicknamed him Delphi.

Crobat

One of Belos’ more loyal team members. She has been around since before Hunter was born and did help Belos keep an eye on his son when he was younger. She’s not the most affectionate to anyone other than Belos, however, so she mostly was there just to swoop in and prevent Hunter from getting hurt. These days, she tends to spy on other members of the Coven (especially Lillith) and only sometimes still keeps an eye on Hunter to make sure he’s okay. (Mun also picked a Crobat since a lot of Pokemon villains have them and yet you need to increase the friendship level in order to have one, often times adding character to the villains and showing they do care about something(s). This aspect just fit Belos very well in mun’s mind.) Belos nicknamed her Ami.

Giratina

Belos’ legendary partner. And his second oldest partner. Unlike the ‘lore’ before Giratina in canon, mun very much subscribes to the idea that Giratina does not represent ‘evil’ or ‘death’ or ‘the Pokemon Satan’ as it seems much more likely that Giratina’s realm is dangerous/made of dark matter which can destroy the normal universe if they were allowed to cross. Which is why she is with Belos. She knew what the Titan was going to attempt and how dangerous it could be if done improperly. She originally came to Belos in order to kill and stop him from carrying out the Titan’s will, but when she realized he was originally human and had already discovered a way to join different realms without interfering with her realm, she instead decided to join him to keep an eye on things. She’s probably the strictest of the team, but also very sweet and gentle which surprises many. She and Hunter get along swimmingly. Like Hunter, Belos did not nickname her as he felt it wasn’t his place to.

Heracross

Look, Belos likes beetles, especially stag beetles, okay? Plus, Heracross’ strength and fighting type can help stall Belos should a bad transformation occur. Belos actually sought out his Heracross specifically after his last one passed away from old age, and caught him in one of the Boiling Isles’ many forests. His Heracross and Belos get along fine, but aren’t as close as other members of the team (Heracross is just too new). Belos nicknamed his Heracross Hercules.

Galvantula

Belos also likes spiders (and this pick was mun giving a call back to the spider Palisman we saw and now associate with Phillip), and an electric one is especially beneficial given his work with technology. She is another one of the more loyal team members and is always delighted to help Belos with a project. Belos found her as a Joltik trying to feed on one of his machines and directed her towards a more useful purpose instead of destructive. Belos nicknamed her Adora.

Arcanine

(Okay, mun fully admits there was gonna be a Muk on here because she thinks she’s funny, but after hearing the lore that there’s a legend of an Emperor conquering a nation along with his Arcanine... She picked the more fitting lore over her joke.) Belos’ third oldest partner who’s also been with him for the entirety of his conquest of the Boiling Isles. One of the more fiercely loyal of the group, Belos’ Arcanine has a bad habit of getting upset and barking at those he believes are being disrespectful and rude to Belos, often unintentionally scaring them very badly. He is still a fierce fighter even if he is a physically older team member, but is also the most affectionate. If he trusts you and you seem to respect and not be a threat to Belos, you will need to be on alert for giant puppy kisses and him just outright laying on you. (Hunter often has to dodge being crushed by him.) Belos nicknamed him Darwin.

Enchanting Melody: chapter 4

Piers sighed as he stared at the blank sheet music in front of him. He had been trying to create a tune for his newest lyrics for an hour now. Zoe had gone to work and Marnie was at the gym so it was just him with his obstagoon and Melony.

"Melo…"

He looked up to see Melody sitting on the table looking between his blank sheet music and his notebook with the lyrics he wrote.

"What? Do you want to help?"

Melody nodded and let out a happy cry. He picked up his guitar and strummed a few chords so she could hear what instrument the music was going to. Melody looked at the lyrics and sang out a few notes. Piers copied her on the guitar and wrote down the notes on his sheet music. After after a couple of hours his sheet music was completed for the guitar and bass and Melody was enjoying a sliced apple while Piers ate take out he ordered.

"So she can't sing to save her life"

"Mel!"

"She sings in the shower? I'll have to use that against her sometimes."

"Etta!"

"It's that bad? How did you survive?"

"Melo!"

The sound of the apartment door opening made them look up as Zoe walked into the room. She looked exhausted and dropped into a chair with a sigh.

"Rough day?"

Zoe looked at him with a tired expression.

"You have no idea! First DickBoss McDoucheWaffle wrote me up for leaving during my shift. Then he wouldn't believe me that my apartment burned down until I showed him photos of the place burning. Finally he tried to threaten me but the owner told him he couldn't so he was glaring at me my entire shift."

Melody floated over to pat her head.

"Sounds rough, you know if you need another job you could work as a trainer at the gym."

She smiled lightly and shook her head.

"Nah, I'm not really the battling type. Besides, all I have is these guys."

She released Loki along with her absol named Delphi. Piers looked interested as he observed Loki hugging Zoe and Delphi nuzzling her hand.

"They seem to like you a lot. I haven't seen a bond like that with anyone except Marnie and morpeko and they've been together since she was five."

Zoe chuckled as she scratched Delphi under her chin.

"Well I didn't really catch them normally. I befriended them while I was still in The Liberators and would visit them in the woods at night. I knew that if I stole Melody then I'd have to leave the region so when I took the pokeballs I asked if Loki and Delphi wanted to come with me and they willingly caught themselves. Loki helped me take Melody by disguising as me and leading the guards away so I could take her."

Loki puffed out his chest as if proud of himself. Piers chuckled lightly and whistled for obstagoon to come over.

"I understand, I found obstagoon when he was still a zigzagoon and he would follow me around town like he was already mine. When I finally became a trainer, he was my first partner."

Obstagoon let out a happy cry and hugged Piers tightly, making him groan.

"Alright, alright settle down, I still need to breathe."

Zoe laughed as obstagoon and Loki started chatting and Delphi move over to Piers for affection.

"So did you originally plan to be a gym leader?"

Piers shook his head as he pet Delphi, much to her absolute delight.

"I wanted to go into music but my parents forced me to register as a trainer. By the time I moved to Spikemuth with Marnie, I was a well known trainer so I couldn't change now. The original gym leader gave me an offer that if I took over when he retired then he'd give me an apartment to live in rent free. So I took the offer and after a few years I started working on music along with running the gym."

Zoe smiled sadly as she looked down at her hands.

"I can understand that, I wanted to be a dancer like this lady on a show I used to watch. She would dance with pokemon and it was so cool to me. My parents put me in dance classes until they died in an accident and I had to live with my brother. He didn't support it and pulled me out of the classes to help him run his radio show."

She sighed until Delphi tried to climb into her lap to comfort her.

"Delphi no! You're not a baby anymore! I'm gonna- ack!"

Piers couldn't stop from laughing as Delphi knocked Zoe out of her seat. He stood up and walked over to the other side of the table to watch as Delphi covered Zoe's face in kisses.

"The omen of misfortune everybody! Turns out she's just a big baby in disguise!"

Piers chuckled and held out a hand to help her up. Zoe gratefully took his hand and pulled herself up. He noticed a splash of color under the sleeve of Zoe's left arm and raised an eye curiously.

"You've got ink?"

Zoe grinned and pulled up the sleeve of her shirt to show the tattoo of a shiny umbreon on her upper arm.

"Yeah! When I was younger, I saw an umbreon with this kind of coloring and I've always hoped to see another like it again."

Piers had never seen an umbreon like that before in his life but he believed her. After all, he knew Hop was studying shiny pokemon at the moment so this umbreon could be one.

"If that's the case I'm surprised you don't have an eevee with you."

Zoe gave an embarrassed chuckle as she scratched the back of her head.

"Well...I've tried but I seem to have bad luck finding and catching one. Everytime I try to catch one it usually breaks out of the pokeball and runs away."

Piers rolled his eyes and poked her forehead.

"You weren't kidding, you really suck as a trainer."

"Hey! I thought we were friends!"

Piers grinned at her pout.

"You're Marnie's friend, it's gonna take a lot more than learning my backstory to be friends with me."

"This isn't a dating rpg you knob!"

So I’m listening to a coffee mix with a bucket ton of nintendo music and it just got me thinking of Zola’s Pokemon team even though it’s still a work in progress for the last three.

Delphi, Zola’s starter from Kalos is a male Delphox his moves are Mystical Fire, Psychic, Dazzling Gleam and Solar Beam. Delphi is Zola’s Beauty ace with a Modest nature as he’s Alert to sounds.

Milly, A Ribbon Sweet Ruby Swirl Alcremie from Galar, her moves are Decorate, Drain Punch, Psyshock and Aromatherapy. Milly is a mix Beauty-Smart for Contest with a Gentle nature as well as being able to take hits, however she’s mostly Zola’s helper in making Poffins and Poke Puffs.

Terry, a Brave natured Stoutland that likes to run, his moves are Hyper Voice, Thunder Fang, Aerial Ace and Psychic Fangs. Terry is the Cool ace and Delphi’s partner in Double contest.

Honey, a Relaxed nature Leafeon who’s oddly highly persistent, her moves are Seed Bomb, Dig, Pay day and Synthesis. Honey is the Clever/Smart ace to Zola’s contest team with an added bonus Delphi’s ability to see with his flame, Honey is also Zola’s go to in terms of laying out traps and gaining more money with Pay day.

Yue, a Serious nature Absol yet highly curious, his moves are Psycho Cut, Swords Dance, Night Slash and Iron Tail. Zola had originally wanted to have Yue part of her contest performances due to an Absol’s dislike of fighting and history, however he mainly stays outside of his pokeball and acts a guard due to Zola’s fun loving outlook.

During battles if Mega evolution is needed, Zola will ask Yue if he is okay with the evolution due knowing an Absol dislike using it’s Mega evolved form.

As of yet Zola hasn’t found a pokemon that will be her Cute ace.

so percys team consists of carracosta, mudsdale, dragalge, dhelmise, samurott, and stoutland

he’s been with his team for a long time

like he still remembers going to the beach with tirtouga and oshowatt

his mudsdale’s name is blackjack

his stoutland’s name is mrs. o’leary

he was very surprised when his skrelp evolved and lost its water type but at the same time a dRAGON

annabeth has ninetails, flygon, staraptor, a female mewostic, lucario, and manectric

when she ran away from her home she only had espurr

she got starly, then vulpix, then riolu, then elektrike, and finally flygon

riolu was given to her by luke and elektrike was given to her by thalia

she didn’t realize riolu evolved so when it did evolve she was shook... then somebody told her it evolved when it had high friendship n shes taken pride in being good friendly trainer ever since

also annabeth’s favorite place to sleep?? ninetail’s tails.. its so... fluffy...

grover has cherim, sunflora, skidoo, ribombee, leavanny, and torterra on his team

he doesnt really fight with his pokemon he just surrounds himself with them because he loves them

he loves riding on torterras back while playing his poke flute (reed pipes)

hes often asked to wake up snorlax with his poke flute

everybody ask him why he doesnt evolve his skidoo into a gogoat n he says its because he likes how cute skidoo his

he can talk to pokemon and hes good friends with a lot of them

nico has a yamask, tyrogue, a midnight form lycanroc, a zangoose, and a hydregion

the hydregion is actually way too high leveled for him, it doesnt listen to him and it comes and goes as it pleases

also its name is cerberus

nicos refused to let tyrogue evolve bc he isnt sure what he wants him to evolve into

his first pokemon was rockruff and he got super excited when it evolved

the yamask appeared when bianca died

thalia has a decidueye, luxray, honchkrow, a shiny lunatone, aegislash, and accelgor

she got the shiny lunatone from zoe, its a pokemon thats always owned by the lieutenant of artemis. its also her highest level pokemon

she got her aegislash really early on, some time when she was with luke

she had a karrablast for a while, eventually trading it for reyna’s shelmet, which evolved into accelgor

her decidueye usuallys does its own thing but thalia doesnt mind since its there when she needs it

rachel has a smeargle, xatu, absol, tangrowth, and mr mime

before becoming the oracle of delphi she only had smeargle, tangrowth, and mr mime

she took one look at tangela and said ‘hey look its me’

before rachel became the oracle, xatu would just stay in the attic, standing still, only to sometimes give prophecies

after becoming the oracle, xatu gives her glimpses of the future and sometimes of the past. very brief tho, most of the time she has no idea whats going on

smeargle helped her decorate her walls with paintings n drawings

her absol comes n goes too, but when it comes it stays to fight with rachel until the disaster is over

she likes mr mime because he looks funny

jason has zebstrika, talonflame, mightyena, hitmonchan, elektross, and salamence

his zebstrika’s name is tempest n doesn’t get along with percy’s mudsdale

he was given a fletchling by his dad... it evolved into talonflame and also had the gale wings ability

he has the same wolf stare as his mightyena

sometimes he spars with his hitmonchan for fun

all roman praetors usually have pseudo legendary pokemon, his is salamence

piper has gallade, salandit, krookodile, noivern, toucannon, and alolan raichu

when she had her kirlia people encouraged her to evolve it into a gardevoir but decided gallade was more badass

salandit and sandile helped her steal when she wanted her dad’s attention

since shes in california, she loves going surfing with her raichu

ik ur wondering abt her charmspeak and all i got for u is that noivern n toucannon are noise based pokemon

leo has a flareon, ambipom, klinklang, blastoise, silvally, and rotom

ambipom helps him when hes inventing things by giving him an extra hand

ambipom also gives him high fives when he makes a joke

he loves his blastoise a lot, he may be a water type, but he has cannons

he helped get type:null back, and when he befriended it, it evolved into silvally

he used it as a mode of transportation by giving it flying memory

he got klink in his mom’s workshop

his rotom helped him out when he needed the arichmedes sphere to work, his rotom just posessed it

hazel has a rapidash, sableye, excadrill, aurorus, cincinno, and zoroark

her rapidash is named arion and she met it when she went on the journey with percy and frank

sableye gets cursed gems from the ground, it reminds her of her mom sometimes

she likes cincinno because its cute and fluffy

when she met hecate she gave her a very stubborn zoroark, but eventually it warmed up to her and started listening to her

when nico brought her back from the dead he gave her an amaura, which he also bought back from the dead

whenever hazels underground her excadrill helps, whether its by navigating the tunnels theyre already in, or by going up

frank has a mamoswine, bewear, donphan, sawsbuck, ditto, and dragonite

he was given the ditto by his grandmother, who also had a ditto

his dragonites really cute and aloof but can be fucking scary as shit (aka, a regular dragonite)

he and his bewear give pretty much the same hugs... there is no difference

when he was in camp at first, none of his pokemon were fully evolved. ppl usually made fun of him abt it but he didnt really care since they were all so cute?? he evolved them during the quest and after that nobody messed with him

he named his donphan dumbo

reyna has a kommo-o, serperior, braviary, aggron, escavalier, and a rapidash

she has two herdiers that usually travel with her, but she doesnt put them on her team bc she doesnt want them to get hurt

her rapidash’s name is guido

she had a shelmet, traded it for thalia’s karrablast, and voila she has an escavalier

she was given a jangmo-o by hylla, right before they split ways

her braviary usually perches on her shoulder and is intimidating as fuck

honestly all her pokemon are intimidating as fuck???? shes probably the strongest trainer in camp jupiter like lets be real

sometimes not having people to talk to isn't very fun. I mean, I just saw Delphi get up and retrieve Kiran's bone club after he dropped it off the side of the bed, and this is the only place where I can tell anyone that it happened! Sigh.
