Oh no, the prince has been captured~!

I forgot about this WIP (and this ship) but I found it recently among WIPs and found it hilarious again so here, have the OOC DiaSatan made for no reason.

The markers seem to have missed me because they've been uncharacteristically cooperative. I don't think I've ever had such a nice drawing session with markers before.

Both the scan and the photo needed to be cleaned up though but I legit cannot make the colours more like the original anymore without breaking some other colours because both phone and scanner mess up colours and I still had to sacrifice Satan's complexion. (Siiigh.)

Ariel is the only fairy - angel hybrid and people, especially her aunt thought she is the only princess, shall be build a new generation for the bless for early, so she have to marry the fairy Prince Arthur from the Queendom of Roses.

Moreover, Ariel's aunt Princess Senara had already gave them a matchmaking and decided on Ariel's 19th birthday to have a proposal.

Still Ariel didn't want to marry the prince she doesn't love and having confinements earlier. She, however, didn't want make her people unhappy, so she have to sacrifice herself to marry.

On the other side, Rozebelle and Arthur were had met each other at the same library and shared same book. Both became friends to lovers for 5 years.

Unfortunately, due to the engagement to Ariel, two lovers determined to be friends and Rozebelle has to constantly tell herself that she is okay with Ariel and Arthur's engagement, even though she was clearly suffering and depressed at the thought as well as hate Ariel deeply.

Author's note:

Rozebelle and Ariel's 2nd characters inspired are Satan and Lucifer from Obey Me! While Prince Arthur was inspired by Prince Diavolo.

And once I listened "We don't talk about Bruno", I can imagined that Ariel / Lucifer shall be married to Arthur / Diavolo, though I know they're just friends.

But because of some followers shipped DiaLuci (one of the Non- MC ship I hate) instead of Diasatan, which is why I make these.

As today’s the anniversary for @s8ncake‘s fic, Checkmate, on AO3! This is such a wonderful pairing, I cannot express how much I just adore them together, and never would have thought of it before!

Yearning for love and comfort, only to be held back by the sharp thorns of insecurity and despair. The first blooms of spring, petals fluttering through the breeze, gentle beings of happiness. Emerging from the empty silence of loneliness. Shielding each other in the face of a roaring fire.

Kissing each other breathlessly under the moonlight; laughter echoing in the breeze as bodies press together in an entanglement of passion. Soft kisses placed on one’s forehead, followed by a blindingly kind smile. Quiet murmurs in the night, the brush of a finger against cheek.

Hearts unacquainted with love, discovering solace and warmth in each other’s embrace.

There is tradition in Devildom that when royalty has a serious partner there is an event that introduces the partner to everyone.

Diavolo and Satan are dating but it’s nothing more of rumors and spectulations from RAD students and most of Satan’s brothers. (Only Barbatos and Belphegor truly know they are together)

Diavolo teaches Satan how to Ballroom dance. The have the first dance at the Introduction event. Diavolo tells Satan the best way to learn how to dance is to know how to lead and follow. They spend weeks preparing and it’s nerve wracking for Satan.

Finally comes the night of the event and Satan is nervous. Satan and Diavolo have been hidden away for the first hour, waiting for their time to be introduced as a couple. It’s time to dance and what Satan didn’t expect was Diavolo to ask him to lead.

“What? But you are the future king?”

“Yes, but I see us as equals and you have captured my heart”

Satan is speechless

“Don’t forget to dip me” Diavolo presses a kiss to Satan’s temple before guiding him out to the center of the dance floor

Satan is nervous. All of Devildom’s eyes are on him and Diavolo. But surprisingly it all goes smoothly and as Diavolo requested Satan does dip him and presses a quick kiss to Diavolo’s lips.

The rest of night involves being introduced to people and dancing. Satan tries not to get too jealous when Diavolo and Lucifer share a dance. Satan is somewhat relieved when Diavolo finds him immediately after he finishes his dance with Lucifer. Diavolo comes over laughing and smiling, pulling Satan close and starts dancing.

“Lucifer just gave me the shovel talk” Diavolo is laughing and smiling brightly at Satan.

“He what?” Satan is embarrassed and tried to apologize but Diavolo brushes it off.

“He made some very unique threats. I haven’t heard him talk like that before” Diavolo smile is so bright and voice is filled with amusement.

Later Satan runs into Barbatos and Lucifer, who both decided to give Satan the shovel talk.

“I thought you gave Diavolo the shovel talk Lucifer”

“Well yes but I have to play both sides. You are both important to me. Though Diavolo has to have the shovel talk six times and you only get it twice”

Satan is mortified to learn, every single one of his brothers makes threats to Diavolo to not break Satan’s heart.

Some DiaSatan under the cut~

Satan strode stiffly to the throne room, trying to subtly check if anyone was around as he walked.  This was supposed to be his time with Diavolo, but he’d been called to the throne room instead of the bedroom.  Irritation was swiftly growing in his chest, and Satan struggled to repress it.  He knew logically that Diavolo had little control over the emergencies of the Devildom, and as it’s ruler he would need to attend immediately.  But Satan was horny, dammit!  The least Diavolo could have done was tell him to prepare on his own and wait instead of summoning him to the throne room.  He had little interest in sitting in on whatever political drivel was being spouted.   

So it was due to this irritation in his heart that he opened the door a little too roughly, and dozens of eyes flew to him.  Rather than embarrassment replacing the irritation, he’s anger only grew.  You see, Satan was a very young being.  All of his “brothers” were many millenia older than him, every demon present had been alive for longer than Satan could really fathom- and it could not be more obvious.  These demon’s forms stretched to the ceiling, took up so much space with scales and feathers of all kinds, horns standing tall and proud.  If Satan were someone like Lucifer, or hell even Mammon, he would be respected as he walked into the room.

I’ve been testing the new pencils and hence the weird colouring in some places. At least now I know what kind of blending those pencils don’t take well ^^’ gosh, the blender took almost the whole pigment off but the pencils didn’t layer on the top anymore D: anyways!

6. What is a fandom you will never write for?

...Fairy Tale. It’s just. The memories. Oh my god. That was the first fandom I ever wrote for and it was such a distaster because I was such a shitty writer. Uuuurgh - it physically makes me cringe to think of those days. Smh. I kind of ruined that fandom for myself, lmao. 

12. Do you want to break your readers‘ heart or make them laugh?

Break their hearts. Over. And over. And over. 

I’m not a sadist, I’m seriously not - but there’s something special about the angst genre which just calls to me, and making my readers cry is my the ultimate goal of this blog :D

Okay preface hgjsdkilakshflajsfhajghsqjdhajkashfjajsk this is NOT a complete list because there’s just not way I can get to everything :( I don’t want this to be a tag thing where I call out specific people on tumblr (and coincidentially make others feel bad), so I’m acc going to choose my favorite fics from ao3! Over there, the fics you see are exclusively tied to what time you log on and how far back you scroll, so don’t feel bad if you’ve written something and I haven’t mentioned it because it’s pure luck :)

Morningstar Café by demoncow97 is Lucifer x Simeon and it is perfection, every step of it (so wholesome omg)

Endangered Species by wintercelestial is Lucifer x Diavolo and it still makes me smile because of how fluffy - definitely among my favorite om! fluff fics

You'll have to ask your dad by DefenstrationProtestation (Sand_Cursive) is a 15k long character study of Lucifer and I’ve never read something which portrayed emotion so well (and holy fuck, op’s vocabulary is next-level)

The Purrfect Match by spicy-rainbow-pizza (Slowpoke_Curry) shows a cat!AU of Diavolo x Lucifer through the lens of Barbatos - and this might also be my favorite DiaLuci fic of all time just because it’s so adorable

To Set the Worst Things Right by Shardinian is among the darkest fics I’ve ever read, but op’s characterization of Satan is beautiful. Please. Read the tags on this one. I had to physically stop reading more than once, because I was so disturbed.

Checkmate by Okoru is ongoing, but it’s beautiful. DiaSatan, which is a rare pair - but OP is doing a phenomenal job

sudden and new by indiavolojones is my favorite fic by indiavolojones, which is saying a lot because I honestly adore every single thing they’ve written. It’s Asmo x Solomon, and it was written so well that I still think about this AU

the prince's consort by crestedhearts is some crushing angst, something this series is filled with. It’s centered around Diavolo and Barbatos and it is beautiful, from start to finish 

Cause You Don't Really Want to Go by polandspringz is the best Mammon fic I’ve ever read. It takes an extreme angle on his treatment from his brothers, but the conclusion...is perfect. MC is in this, but it’s not an x reader - but its message and execution is stunning

Operation Hot Potato by seraphinite is fucking. Brilliant. Ugh, it really might be my favorite Lucifer x reader fic of all time because the premise is so beautiful and the MC is so easy to project onto - I’ve reread this too many times for my own good.

intertwined by migraineroom is some wholesome Barbatos. And I’m a die-hard Barbatos fan <3

gently forced by luxettenebrae sends powerful messages about rape and friendship. And how the two cannot coexist within the same person. Levi-focused. It was terrifying to read. Look at all the tags before you start.

Carajillo by indiavolowetrust is my favorite OC fic. I recognize the stigma around them, but holy fuck. The plot. This one hits different. Barbatos-centric

Where Their Duties Lie by MayoraSadist is the fic which inspired Have Strength, My Lady. It was one of the first OM! fics I’ve ever written, and my heart never recovered from the angst

my salvation, my my by sawankos is my favorite asmo x simeon fic. It’s the kind of beautiful, soul-crushing angst which makes you want to give up yourself for these two lovers to be able to be together

Devil Doms by joonie_beanie features all the characters and it is pure smut, from start to finish. Super indulgent, but I adore every second of it - oml op’s writing style is on point

The Hardest Lessons Are Learned Alone (But We'll Pass the Test Together) by BBASLML is part of another larger smut series, featuring all the characters. It actually follows plot without being boring, and I love op for being able to do that

Ecdysis by AngelusLorelei is some fluff and angst, featuring all the brothers + the angels. Beautiful. Lovely. Elegant.
