Scary things they do that turn you on
Buggy, Mihawk, Crocodile, Law
Support me on Ko-Fi ☕️
Buggy
Tumblr media
This was humiliating- You had joined Zoro on his journey as a bounty hunter and ended up coming along as he joined the newest pirate on the scene Monkey D Luffy- You didn't necessarily agree but you were a loyal friend..
That and Zoro had too much damn dirt on you for you to let him go on his own-
One of those diets being.. your particular taste in attractions.. which unfortunately came out when you first interacted with Buggy the Clown in Orange Town.. already you were kidding liking the scary clown thing.
"Stupid Straw Hats- No matter.."
Buggy laughed darkly his eyes locking on the lot of you as he pulled put his blades.
"You are all going to die"
You watched the clown laugh darkly and held one of the knives infront of his face licking them as he geared up for an attack- your face warming and you felt the top of your ears starting to turn red at the sight.
Zoro turned to stared at you in utter disgust as if already knowing what this would do to you-
"You have awful survival instincts..." He said plainly as you blushed and looked away ashamed and embarrassed- Buggy now confused over why your own crew was looking at you so disappointed and you so shamed.
"E-Eh?" He questioned as he glanced back at the crew just as confused as their Captian. You felt like sobbing at this point as you turned away from them all and pouted in the corner depressed.
"I know..."
Mihawk
Tumblr media
Was your friend a idiot? Maybe it was the alcohol but it the famed most powerful swordsman showed up and you challenge him when let's lace it- He had issues beating a clown.. Who thought this was a good idea!?
"Zoro this is stupid-" You hissed, looking over the open chested man and having to quickly steer those thoughts away to try and save your friends life. Yet of course he ignored you and Nami and marched away-
The next morning you all showing up {besides Nami} to support Zoro on his idiocy- Mihawk making his appearance and once again.. Damn- pulling that necklace from his neck with a easy flick and pulling out a tiny blade.
"Whats that I came here for a swordfight-"
"I don't hunt rabbits with a Canon-" He replied as he held his arms out to the group, You felt that loyalty for Zoro starting to slip away when you heard his voice and that almost amused dangerous look to him as he threatened your friends life.
A-Ah.. So you did have some mild daddy issues and maybe something for dark men. The sensation of blood seemed to leave your brain and warm other parts of your body.. You sigh and bow your head.
"For fuck sakes-" You mutter, Rubbing your temple as you try to calm yourself back down and figure out a way from this situation.
Crocodile
Tumblr media
Being the head assistant for the Cross Guild had its pros and cons. A pro was you got pain Very well for your work- You doubted Goverment workers got what you got, paired with the protection from its leaders. A con however was the terrible workload you had constantly and also having to just stand against the wall during moments like this.
"-You fucking Fool-" Crocodile hissed as he held Buggy by his throat angrily. Mihawk sitting down drinking his normal wine which you refilled every 5 minutes to keep the sword master pleased.
"Please Forgive me!" Buggy cried as Crocodile continued his verbal assault on the Clown Captian. Buggy had messed up- Once again and it seemed this time was enough for Crocodile to opt to try and choke Buggy to death rather then the normal beating the bluette relieved.
Crocodile blew a cloud of smoke to the side, his glance landing on you for a second before returning to insulting Buggy.
"(Y/N)- You are dismissed" He grumbled, squeezing Buggys throat again as you caught his glance-
"Y-Yes sir.."
You stood there with wide eyes as Crocodile held the squeaking and squaking mess that was Buggy hard by his throat- hissing threats at him and pointing that hook right at his throat.
This should have been scary- It was actually scary.. but also- You couldn't help but let your mind start to drift to if you were in Buggy's position and immediately felt your body flesh at the thought. Strong hands around your throat, cold wall against your back and Crocodile hissing insults in your ear-
"Huh- Learned something new about (Y/N).." You say softly with a nod at this new self discovery and walked away quickly before you embarrassed yourself.
Law
Tumblr media
"(Y/N)!!" You hear your name being called, rushing to the railing you see your crew approaching and you smiled.
"You guys are back!!" You cheer as you rush off the shit to help your friends board- That's when you spot new people there with your crew.
Tall, Brooding? Covered in blood? Holy shit...
"This is Law- He's going to help us out" Sanji explained as Law nodded softly at you.
"Hello-" He said calmly and you gave a shy smile.
"Nice to meet ya Law, See you're pretty banged up- Let's get you on the ship so chopper can treat you" You say calmly trying to be polite.
"Should see the other guy, but i appreciate it Love" He said with a dark smirk before wincing at his injuries. You felt your cheeks warm at this-
You clapped your hands together to give yourself strength, Taking a breath before doing a direct U-Turn back to the ship.
"(Y/N)?- Where are you going?" Nami called out as the crew watched you march away just as confused by your sudden actions.
"Going to go do some 'Finger Painting' Be back later" You said calmly, you were fortunate the crew was too innocent to understand your words.

Light (Sung Jinwoo)
Tumblr media
TAGS: Jinwoo/Wife!reader, a/b/o dynamics, yandere, possessive behavior, death threats, breeding, impregnation, oneshot Ao3 ver. | Ko-fi | Commissions (OPEN)
‘E-Rank Hunter’ Sung Jinwoo, a title that followed him wherever he went.
Despite being a Hunter, his power was barely above an ordinary human aside from his slightly more durable constitution and slightly increased healing factor.
So it’s only natural that he’d always get hurt. Hell, he’d even nearly gotten killed several times already too!
It’s not that Jinwoo wanted to be a Hunter in the first place, because aside from the danger, others also made fun of him for his weakness. Even the pay was surprisingly not that great.
Unfortunately, someone in his mid-20s who lacked any viable skills that could land him a normal, stable job could only work for the Hunter’s Association as one of their Hunters thanks to their medical aid. Had it not been for that, he wouldn’t have been able to afford the millions of won in medical bills he owed to the hospital that took care of his mother.
It’s not even just his mother that he had to provide for, but there was also his little sister and…
“Look Yeonjin, it’s Papa!”
Worn out from another hard days’ work, E-Rank Hunter Sung Jinwoo felt all the fatigue in his body seemingly melt away into nothingness as the sight and scent of his wife and child soothed his weary soul.
“Baba!” Yeonjin babbled excitedly as his father made a beeline straight towards you both.
“Welcome home, honey.” You press a kiss to the corner of his lips, smiling up at him with those beautiful eyes he always finds himself lost in.
This is why even if he didn’t want to, he would still participate in these Association supervised raids.
No sacrifice is too great when it comes to his loved ones and regardless of how incompetent he was as a Hunter, Jinwoo will do everything in his power to ensure that they are cared and provided for.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You’ve been with Sung Jinwoo ever since you were both just awkward teenagers in high school. When his mother succumbed to Eternal Slumber and left the two siblings to fend for themselves, instead of leaving you surprised Jinwoo and moved into their cozy little home and took it upon yourself to keep the house running.
While Jinwoo did his best to provide for the family’s needs, you would ensure that Jinah and the house was taken care of, this of course also included the man himself whenever he came home from a raid. You even managed to get a remote job that helped with the bills in spite of juggling that with your online college classes as well.
You and Jinwoo had gone through so much together over the past decade so was it any surprise you’d end up married and with a child?
Former friends and schoolmates might have tried to dissuade you time and time again to leave him, pitying you for spending your youth making ends meet and watching over your comatose mother-in-law, Jinah, and now your own baby.
But you don’t need their ‘advice’ when it all basically boiled down to having you leave your family because you ‘deserved better.’
They are already what’s best for you.
Why can’t they see that?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“ How are you and Sung Jinwoo? Sorry I couldn’t check up on you guys sooner. Life’s been pretty hectic on my end.”
“I’m sorry I couldn’t attend your baby shower before! I had an important appointment that I couldn’t bail out on back then. Why don’t we go out for coffee to catch up?”
“...way too long since we last got together! Our whole class is gonna have a reunion this weekend. Everyone will be stoked to see you and Sung Jinwoo there— ”
Beep.
You don’t have the chance to reply to the latest call you received from another ‘old friend’ when your husband pressed the ‘end’ button in one swift movement. Though his face looked impassive, his scent clearly revealed his agitation…not to mention the shadows that seemed to curl spread from the soles of his feet.
“First they tell you that I’m not good enough for you and that you should leave me, but now they’re all tripping over themselves just to get to me through you…” His lips stretched into a snarl, power rolling off of him in waves at their blatant shamelessness.
Jinwoo’s inner alpha snorted and growled, the mere thought of these impertinent swine daring to involve themselves with his mate even if to gain some sort of favor from him made him see red.
How dare they?! He will rip and tear into their bodies and reap their souls to become his puppets if they so much as even approach you. Did they think he was bound by the rules of ordinary mortals? Foolish!
The hunter’s alpha grinned diabolically, cackling from within the confines of his soul at thought of giving them their just desserts.
“My big, strong alpha…Always willing to jump into the fray to provide for and protect us…How can I even think about choosing anyone else?” You crooned and purred at him, the soft sounds and your calming scent enveloping him and taming the shadows that once agitatedly tried to claw their way out of him to carry out his will.
Burrowing into his arms, you embrace his waist and nuzzle your face into the crook of his neck as best as you could considering his height had also shot up recently. A few soothing kisses and kitten licks against the skin of his neck later, Jinwoo’s darkness ceased pouring out of him.
Because now he focused on wholeheartedly pouring every last drop of cum into your quivering pussy, thrusting weakly even as his fat knot plugged you up. Your lower belly bulged with the amount of cum he’d already fucked into you, but he still didn’t think it was enough.
At the rate he was going, he’s definitely gonna knock you up again.
Not that you were complaining. It was about time for Yeonjin to finally have a sibling to love.

Mr Speaker, it is an indescribable feeling to stand up and address this House. As a son of Samoan immigrants who made the mighty Ōtara 274—Southside hard—their home, I am well aware of the giants whose shoulders I stand on and the masters whose feet I learnt at. The courage, foresight, entrepreneurial spirit, and hope of our ancestors who journeyed thousands of years ago through the vast waters of Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa brings me here today.
My parents arrived in New Zealand in the early 1960s, told that this was the land of milk and honey. Dad started off as a taxi driver with South Auckland Taxis, and mum on the factory floor at New Zealand Forest Products in Penrose. We lived in a four-bedroom State house on Preston Road in Ōtara, and I attended local schools: East Tāmaki Primary, Ferguson Intermediate, and the great Tangaroa College. We're forever grateful for the State house that was our home for around 20 years, and the quality public education we received from our local State schools.
I did try my hand for a short period at a decile 10 school outside of Ōtara, but that experiment lasted only two weeks. It was during the time in the late 1980s, when families from poorer areas were being discouraged from going to local schools because they weren't considered up to scratch. I'm glad we changed course and decided to high school it in Ōtara, where the motto of our school was "Waiho i te tokā tu Moana"—"Steadfast like a rock in the sea".
Later, at university, I went on to write my Master's dissertation on brown flight, critiquing the Picot reforms that have wreaked havoc on our public schooling system. That period was also a challenging time for my family because we were being told by our teachers to stop speaking Samoan at home and only to speak English. My parents didn't want us to fail at school, so we were allowed to speak English at home and over time we stopped speaking Samoan altogether. In the end, I lost my language. I struggled, I was embarrassed, and I felt incomplete. Even speaking to you in Samoan this evening gives me major tremors.
There's a saying in Samoan: "E le tu fa'amauga se tagata"—no one stands alone, no one succeeds alone—and, for me, no one suffers alone. Over the past years, with the support of my family and friends, I've taken to trying to converse again in Samoan, reading more texts in Samoan, praying in Samoan, and sending our youngest to a local Samoan early childhood centre. Our beautiful language, Gagana Samoa, has returned to our home and is helping to overcome the inadequacy that had taken root in my soul.
As I speak this evening, I'm mindful of the many young people who are navigating these at times treacherous and unsettled waters in life, filled with so much potential, energy, and hope, yet too often misunderstood. In my time as a youth worker in South Auckland, I've spoken with hundreds of young people with massive dreams for the future. We need youth workers, we need social workers, and we need mentors to walk alongside our young people, and, yes, we want our youth to be responsible and caring and considerate. So it's our job in this House to resource the people and organisations who will model the behaviour to them that we expect, but who also won't give up on them and won't come with a saviour mentality.
Many of our societal challenges are driven by poverty. We can achieve greater social cohesion and lift our sense of belonging by addressing poverty. I've been honoured to run youth mentoring programmes for nearly 25 years—that's about how old I am—and to this day I mentor young people. When we undertook and published research on youth gangs some years ago, the youth we spoke to had the solutions and just needed the means to make it happen. Too many of our young people are filling our prisons, and it is wasted human potential. Give them the tools, the resources, and the means to make a meaningful contribution to the world, and they will. I was at a conference recently about the threats to democracy and an attendee spoke about their work in developing nations and used the familiar retort, "You can't eat democracy." And I couldn't agree more. This House, this centre of democracy, needs to do more to engage our people, all of our people, so that they can see this House is not just relevant but an essential part of their lives.
The greatest challenge facing our generation is climate change. The Pacific Islands nations are among the most vulnerable to climate change in the world. The world's continued reliance on fossil fuels, loss of coral reefs, rising sea levels, and increasing severe weather patterns means that our extended whānau in the Pacific are in immediate danger. We, as a collective, must do all we can to do as we say out south "flip the script". Truth is, those who've done the least to create this predicament are being the hardest hit. Our challenges, whether ecological, geopolitical, or cultural, are diverse, but we're bonded by the inextricable ties we have to our lands and our oceans. We've inherited philosophies, knowledge systems, and profound ecological wisdom that holds the answers and drives our collective resilience—from West Papua to Hawai'i. Our fight for a climate resilient, nuclear-free and independent Pacific remains as strong as ever. We are not drowning; we are fighting.
I haven't come to Parliament to learn—learning happens as a matter of course through reflection. I've come to this House to help. Helping is a deliberate act. I'm here to help this Government govern for all of New Zealand, and I'm here to open the door, enabling our communities to connect better with this House. During the election campaign, I spoke to people frustrated about their lot in life, scared for their and their children's futures, and feeling their dreams were slipping away. The people I spoke to expect the Government to do more and move faster. And I know that there are some in this House who believe Government is not the answer to these challenges and that less Government is better. But here's the thing: the Government cannot be a bystander to people suffering confusion and disenfranchisement. New Zealand must close the divide between those who have and those who have not, because the reality for my community is that those who have more money often wield more power, more health, more housing, more justice, more access, more canopy cover, more lobbyists with swipe cards, and more time. And the opposite is true for those who have fewer resources.
It's hard to be poor, it's expensive to be poor, and moreover, public discourse is making it socially unacceptable to be poor. Whether it's bashing on beneficiaries, dragging our feet towards a living wage, throwing shade on school breakfast programmes, or restricting people's ability to collectively bargain for fairer working conditions, we must do better to lift aspirations and the lived realities of all our people. To that end, I want to say to this House with complete surety that the neoliberal experiment of the 1980s has failed. The economics of creating unemployment to manage inflation is farcical when domestic inflation in New Zealand has been driven by big corporates making excessive profits. It's time to draw a line in the sand, and alongside my colleagues here in Te Pāti Kākāriki, we've come as the pallbearers of neoliberalism, to bury these shallow, insufferable ideas once and for all. And this, sir, is our act of love.
Paolo Freire, in his seminal work Pedagogy of the Oppressed, said love is an act of courage, not fear; love is a commitment to others. No matter where the oppressed are found, the act of love is a commitment to their cause, the cause of liberation. The most recent election campaign left many in our Māori communities bruised and targeted for the perceived privileges supposedly bestowed upon them. Shared governance is a rich concept about how we include those who've been excluded for far too long in the work of this House and the democratic institutions that are fundamental to our collective wellbeing. We are Tangata Tiriti and we have nothing to fear. As a New Zealand-born Samoan living in South Auckland, I've experienced, written about, and spoken about racism in this country. I've also been on a well-publicised journey in understanding the needs and views of our rainbow communities, and I have a long way to go. And my message to whānau who often experience the sharp end of discrimination—disabled, ethnic, rainbow, brown, seniors, and neurodiverse—is thank you for trusting us with the responsibility of facilitating a new discussion on how we move forward together and make possible what was once deemed impossible.
The American civil rights activist James Baldwin said, "Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced." We commit to working across this House as a nation and with each other irrespective of our post code, income bracket, skin colour, or level of qualification attained. But, in order for that work, we must come with humility, the desire to listen, and dare I say it, maybe speaking last. If I was to inspire anyone by getting to this House and my work over the next three years, I hope that it's the square pegs, the misfits, the forgotten, the unloved, the invisible—it's the dreamers who want more, expect more, are impatient for change, and have this uncanny ability to stretch us further.

The Ruthless Prince (Part 16.2) Scaramouche x fem!reader [Genshin Royal AU] MDNI
Minors do not interact!
But don’t worry, the full post isn’t here anyway. As I’ve said before, Chapter 16.2 is kind of like an extra chapter. You can skip it and it won’t change much in your experience of the story. This is for those who would really like to know what exactly happened and how exactly reader and Scaramouche spent the night.
For this reason, I decided to put this chapter up on ko-fi instead.
Now before you maul me. Like I said, it’s an extra chapter. Read it or not it doesn’t change a thing, plus it’s soft smut. Also, I’m aiming to get chapter 17 out today or tomorrow, most likely tomorrow so please spare me the hate and tears hahahha and yes of course that’ll be posted on tumblr.
The main chapters of The Ruthless Prince will still be on tumblr. If you can, I do appreciate it if you leave comments or replies on this post once you’ve read 16.2
Anyway, here are some tidbits, snippets and information about it:
Word Count: 5.4k (yes it’s quite a long soft smut)
Warnings: penetration, implications of masturbation, no protection and I don't support the pull out method but we are supposed to be in olden times, so I don't think condoms exist yet? but no, reader doesn't get pregnant in the story, not because of this session at least haha, first time: a lot of experimenting going on, fairly slow paced and soft in my opinion, female and male receiving and giving oral, fem!reader, I think that's it.
Snippet 1:
And it's your turn to feel that bit of pride in you, to know that you had made him feel good. "K-Keep going..." Scaramouche's voice stutters but you obey and start on a steady pace on his cock, your hand pumping up and down, parts of him disappearing as your hand slides and squeezes at him. "Shiiiiiit--"
Snippet 2:
"...You're embarrassingly wet," he gives you a sadistic grin, and you see exactly a Scaramouche that you're familiar with. Earlier he had been a bit unsure and shy, possibly even cautious but now that he's warmed up, he looked as if he knew exactly what he wanted and he wasn't going to be nice to you about it.
"Shut up..." You mumble, feeling your cheeks heat up. You're painfully aware of how wet you've gotten. It started from the kissing, intensified when he played with your breasts and just tripled in warmth when you started sucking him off. Something about his moans and groans just did it for you.
Snippet 3:
"R-Relax, Y/N," It was so damn tight. He kisses your neck in an attempt to get you to ease up, feathers kisses along your jaw and again lands on your lips for a passionate kiss. It soothes your mind a little and gradually he feels himself press into the pucker of your lower lips, his tip enters with difficulty and you instinctively wrap your arms around his shoulders with a whimper.

Note: Because I’m only recently exploring buymeacoffee, I can’t guarantee that I can help you if you have any problems with payments, but they do accept credit cards and what not. Also, there is no time limit on the posts, that means once you support, you have a lifetime access to them (from what I know at least, please correct me if I’m wrong.)

Ae Dil pehle bhi hum tanha the
Ae dil pehle bhi hum tanha the,ae dil ham tanha aaj bhi hai.In zakhmo se in dagho se ab apni baate hoti hai.Jo zakhm ki surkh gulab hue jo daagh ki badr-e-munir hue is tarah se kab tak jiina hai.Mai haar gaya is jiine se
Oh heart, we were alone before and oh heart we still alone. And now we converse with the wounds and the scars. The wounds which turned into crimson roses and the scars that became as bright as the full moon, how long should one live like this? I have given up on this way of existence.
koi abr uthe kisi qulzum se ras barse mere virane par,koi jagta ho koi kudhta ho mere der se vapas aane pe koi saans bhare mere pahlu me aur haath dhare mere shane per aur dabe dabe lahje me kahe tum ne ab tak bade dard sahe tum tanha tanha chalte rahe tum tanha tanha jalte rahe suno tanha chalna khel nahi chalo aao mere hamrah chalo chalo naye safar par chalte hai chalo mujh ko bana ke gavah chalo.
Let a cloud emerge from some ocean, let it pour onto my barren land. Let someone wake up or get grumble whenever I return late. Let someone breathe in my embrace, let someone rest their hands on my shoulder and in a hushed voice say, "You endured a lot of pain, you burned alone, you walked alone. Walking alone isn't a child's play. Come, let's walk together. Let's embark on a new journey. Be my partner and be my witness.
@am-i-a-human-being Thanks for helping me with the translation.

Chapter 203 Trivia
Happy 4th of July from Dr. Xeno*!
(*Indirectly.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fluorite mines still exist in Japan, however they're far inland so the KoS can't make use of their boat routes for transport.
Fluorite is one of the first materials shown to fluoresce (=glow when light/EM radiation hits it), which is what the phenomenon was named after!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
One of the major problems in improving telescope quality is getting rid of chromatic aberration, which can be improved by using lenses with a lower refractive index (such as those made of fluorite rather than glass). This bends the light less, leading to clearer magnification.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The rocket design is similar to cruise missiles, in that it uses a jet engine rather than a rocket engine. Cruise missiles will follow an almost direct path to their target, and have the ability to adjust direction at any point. Ballistic missiles cannot.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The blocky thing shown here could be a stylized vacuum column tape drive, a device for storing data on magnetic tape (the black ribbon in cassettes) to be used in computations.
One of these devices is the IBM 7090, which was used by NASA to control space flights in the 60s.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The map shows that the KoS may be aiming to land around Goa in India.
Assuming they don't stop, the journey via the Suez is >10 days, and >23 days via the Cape of Good Hope.
Tumblr media
The Banana Canal seems to be how the villagers remember the name of the Panama Canal, which is odd because bananas only grow in the very south of Japan (if at all) so they're unlikely to have been familiar with them before reaching South America.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Suez is a man-made canal that gets drained and cleared every 10 years so the boats can pass through unobstructed. The area has also been mostly desert for thousands of years. Sandstorms would soon fill it in, making it impassable.
Tumblr media
What Ryusui is worried about here is probably similar to the Ever Given back in March, when winds ran it aground, blocking the whole canal. It had to be dug out to be freed, which the KoS can't do here. Turning around or backing up is also impossible if the canal is too narrow.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kohaku is the only power/fighter team member here, and she's definitely making sure to represent the hot-heads! Getting revenge on a canal, trying to destroy things…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chelsea's old banners made a comeback, which isn't surprising since fabric is tedious to make. Reuse is the basis of Senku's science after all!
But more importantly, how the H-E-L-L did it survive those 7 years when everyone was petrified?!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The dam shown looks more like a beaver dam or a deliberate structure than something that naturally got packed like that. The way it follows onto the land is a little odd to me as well… Something could be hiding underneath?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Senku always makes sure to number his rockets.
(I spent too long wondering if this was a pun, but the i-shi/stone pun is for 1-4, and "Dr. One" doesn't quite fit how "Dr. Stone" is pronounced…)
Tumblr media
The rocket has two sets of controllers, one used by Senku on the ship and the other by Ryusui about half way to the dam. It's unlikely that this choice is due to range issues, as the cell phones worked 80 km apart and this is only 20 km.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's probably so that Ryusui can pinpoint the landing while Senku takes care of the launch.
The coordination between them is impressive!
Tumblr media
India has likely been chosen as Math City because of its long history of mathematics dating back over 3000 years, before Europe had made similar advances. They invented many important concepts, such as negative numbers, the idea of zero, and decimal points.
The other option for India being Math City is that it has many natural resources useful for making computers and other electronics, however I think we'll have to wait until future chapters to see why they chose it!

Day 49 - MyLang, Number Marking
I was able to take today to settle yesterday's noun class marking and finalize the number marking. I really like where things landed.
Noun Class Marking/Definite Article Update:
The three definite articles also mark for class. Class is used basically to clarify where in animacy hierarchy things go. In order of highest to lowest the articles are: sha "sky nouns", dhe "water nouns" and ko "rock nouns". They will change tone to high or low to contrast with the first syllable of the following noun. The indefinite article é/e is used by all noun classes and replaces the article.
Examples:
Sha fœ́ The mouse Dhé karkó The crow Ko tóa The acorn cap E kígy A squirrel
Number Marking:
This came together nicely! All suffixes were derived from the numbers one, two and three.
Singulative (for collective/mass nouns): -je/é
Dual: -(o)s
Plural: -(e)dh
Examples:
Sha fœ́dh The mice Kó harjé The finger (har "finger" is a mass noun) Kó hiímpos The legs
That's it for today!

A Lahaina teacher's difficult search for long-term housing almost 6 months after the wildfires
Hawaiʻi Public Radio | By Kuʻuwehi Hiraishi
Thursday marks six months since that devastating wildfire in Lahaina killed 100 people and displaced thousands. Many are still struggling to secure long-term housing, but hopes of remaining on Maui appear uncertain.
Princess Nāhiʻenaʻena Elementary School teacher Liko Rogers lost his family home in Lahaina in the Aug. 8 fires. He and his wife Sissy have had to shuffle from hotel to hotel at least three times since. As soon as he received his insurance check, he thought he had a plan.
"Ma kīnohi, manaʻo mākou hiki paha ke hoʻolimalima i kekahi hale ma Maui nei a hoʻohana i ʻia kālā ʻinikua e uku a mākaukau ka ʻāina o Lahaina e hoʻi mākou a kūkulu hou."
At first, he said, they figured they’d rent a home on Maui with the insurance money until their land in Lahaina was ready for them to rebuild.
But Rogers soon realized that with rapidly rising rents, the insurance money would only last so long.
"No laila, ka mākou ke huli nei mākou e kūʻai i hale ma ʻaneʻi, eia naʻe pīpiʻi loa. Pīpiʻi loa. Ko mākou hale ma Lahaina, he ʻehiku lumi moe, ʻehā lumi ʻauʻau, a he hale nui nō. ʻAʻole hiki ke ʻimi ʻia kekahi mea like. A inā ua loaʻa, pīpiʻi loa paha. He ʻoi aku i ka $2 miliona paha."
Rogers said now the plan is to buy a home here on Maui. But it’s expensive — very expensive.
Their home in Lahaina was a seven-bedroom, four-bathroom house. He said they’re never going to find anything like it, and if they do, it’ll probably cost more than $2 million.
"Nui ka hopohopo o mākou, koʻu ʻohana hopohopo mākou ke nānā nei mākou i nā hale ma waho o Maui nei. E pono ana e haʻalele no ka pīpiʻi o nā hale ua nānā ʻia ka mokupuni nui. A inā ʻaʻole ʻo ka ʻāina ʻē paha kahi koho."
Rogers said he and his family are seriously concerned. He said they’ve looked at homes on Hawai’i Island. The mainland is also an option. But his job is here and so are his kids.
"He alahele lōʻihi, ʻaʻole naʻe ia he alaina. E noke mau ana ka ʻohana Rogers ... e kūkulu hou i hale ma laila a e noho hou ana mākou i lahaina i kekahi wā, i ka wā kūpono."
He said it's a long road ahead, but it won’t stop them. The Rogers ‘Ohana will push forward and rebuild their home in Lahaina when the time is right.

The Unseen Princess
Chapter Two: The Beginning to the End
Chapter 1
Normal PoV
When the day came for Gandalf to call upon her was a day when he was running from Orcs. With the help of Lady Galadriel he and his companions were flown to safety. When they landed Gandalf had asked her to help him with Thorin the future king of the lonely mountain.
"Alright set back please." She asked as she had a hood on her head for many reasons.
When everyone moved back she began to enchant a spell.
"Mi le ni ki ms ta ru no ko ruly." She began he began to glow.
"Futo male kana midi cala." She finished enchanting as the light disappeared.
"He is fine he should wake in a couple of seconds and he will think he didn't go against whoever in the first place." She told Gandalf standing up.
"Thank you and I would like you to help us on our journey to the mountains." Gandalf had thanked and asked of her, which she nodded her head to.
Then Thorin woke up and started to go off at Bilbo and that was the beginning then but she did not take her hood off. They began to make their way to the lonely mountain but when Gandalf left to do something and they were told to stay on pace, yet they somehow got lost while being chased by giant spiders, but in that time they had grown close to the princess without seeing her face and not knowing she was indeed a princess.
For when the elves of Mirkwood had taken them, Bilbo and y/n had not been caught, but y/n didn't know that as she made her way around the woods to another exit which was surrounded by Orcs when she saw the dwarves in barrels in the river. At one point Kili had gotten shot in the leg and got it binned not noticing it was poisoned.
"You need to get that looked at otherwise you could die." She said startling them.
As they were arguing about what to do next the princess heard something behind her and before anyone could do anything she already had her bow drawn with an arrow ready to be fired facing a man with black hair to his shoulders.
"I would lower your bow ranger." When she spoke these words the dwarves stopped arguing with each other and she lowered hers to show she was not going to harm him.
"What are dwarves doing out here." The ranger asked.
"What is a ranger doing so far here when they are supposed to be collecting barrels." The princess said before the dwarves could say anything.
The ranger put his bow down and they talked and eventually got the ranger to agree to sneak them into Lake town. While they were on the boat the ranger was watching the princess as if he knew her from somewhere before.
"What is your name?" The little hobbit known as Bilbo asked.
"Bard but can you tell me who that young lady is?" He answered and asked the hobbit.
"That's y/n. We don't know what her last name is or what she looks like, but Gandalf seems very protective of her when he was with us." The hobbit told him as he was looking at her.
Bard just nodded and told them to get in the barrels, but y/n just stayed where she was since there wasn't enough for them all. Even with her there they still got in alright as though she wasn't even there. When they got there a boy said something about their house being watched and the dwarves would have to go through the toilet. When they got in the house y/n couldn't stop her giggles as she had just walked through the door. Soon the dwarves left when Bard had to do something but y/n stayed because she had a feeling something was going to happen.
"Y/n why do you hide behind a hood?" The youngest Tilda asked her.
Instead of saying anything she just pulled the hood down and took it off. When the girls saw her they couldn't believe how beautiful she was. With her silky, smooth middle thigh length h/c hair, and magnificent e/c eyes. But what they couldn't miss was the gorgeous crown placed upon her head.
"Where did you get the crown from?" The oldest Sigrid asked, and she got a smile from her.
"It was my mothers before she passed." She answered still with a sweet smile on her face.
"Can I do your hair for you?" Tilda asked her.
"I would like that but while you do it you will have to look after my crown upon your head so I know where it is." She said with a smile and a giggle as well.
The light in Tilda's eyes was magical as she has never since someone so happy before. She put her crown upon her head as the girls began to play with her hair until they could think of something to do with it. As they were playing with her hair they didn't hear their father and brother come back in as they had just come up with something to do her hair. Bard and Bain his son were just watching them, but Bard saw her ears.
"You're an elf." Bard just said it.
"Yes and if you are thinking I was wearing a hood because the dwarves don't like elves then you are wrong there. It was a different reason, but it seems that secret will come to light soon." She said not looking at him. "So girls do you need flowers for my hair." She asked them.
"Yes please!" They both shouted with excitement and she let out a little giggle then close her eyes and put her hands in front of her.
"Malani ofara kawa." She said and pure white flowers were in her hands.
She turned around to place the flowers in the girl's hands then turned back around to face the wall while they enjoy putting the flowers in her hair. When it felt like they were done she faced them and Tilda put her crown back on her head. She kissed her forehead along with Sigrid as a thank you.
"Now would you like dinner because I could cook for you all?" The princess asked but Bard was just staring at her along with Bain as it was their first time seeing her face.
"No it's alright y/n I will do it but you can help if you like," Sigrid asked her.
"I would love to." She said with her smile as she followed her.
They cooked dinner for everyone and sat down to eat. They all had fun talking about random things until they went to sleep. The next morning they were all talking again about random things until there was a knock at the door. Stood on the other side were four dwarves and one of them was Kili who looked very ill.
"I told you to get your wound looked at," Y/n said as she was getting everything off the table.
When everything was off the table Kili was laid upon it as y/n was looking at the herbs that they had.
"Kingsfoil do you have any?" She asked.
"That's a weed we feed the pigs," Bard told her.
"Bofur go get it." She said facing him then looked at Bard. "Take the black arrow and kill the dragon." She whispered to him.
He did what he was told and left with the black arrow. She then began to look at his wound when she was about to touch it the door broke and in came some Orcs, she grab her dagger that was on her waist and began to fight them as more came. As she was fighting them she didn't see two elves come and help.
"Y/N WATCH OUT!!" Tilda shouted as an Orc sneaked up on her.
She spun around and silt the Orc's neck and it dropped dead.
"Thanks, Tilda." She thanked her when the Orc's had left. "Bain look after your sisters I have someone to call," Y/n told him and kissed the foreheads before running out of the door while grabbing her clock.
What she didn't realise was that a young eleven prince was watching her. He then called out to Tauriel but she was looking at Kili and as she walked out the door Bofur came and she then did some elven healing magic. As they were sorting Kili out they didn't know what was happening in the lonely mountain, they only knew when the roar of the dragon was heard.
Soon Kili was healed and they set out to join their kin in the lonely mountain. The dragon set loose from the mountain and began to burn lake town down to the ground.
Chapter 3.

History of Chinese BL (danmei)
Excerpts from Forbidden love: incest, generational conflict, and the erotics of power in Chinese BL fiction by Yanrui Xu and Ling Yang.
[History of danmei]
Chinese BL fiction first appeared around 1998, under the influence of Japanese BL manga and BL fan culture.
Japanese BL media arrives in China
In the early 1990s, a large number of Japanese manga entered Chinese market, including titles with BL elements like RG Veda (1989–1996), Tokyo Babylon (1990–1993), and X (1992–2003) created by CLAMP, and more typical BL manga such as Zetsuai 1989 (Absolute Love 1989, 1989) by Minami Ozaki.
In the second half of 1990s, Japanese BL fiction, like Ai no Kusabi (Wedge in the Relationship, 1986–1987) written by Rieko Yoshihara, Hono no Miraju (Mirage of Blaze, 1990–2004) by Mizuna Kuwabara, and Fujimi Orchestra (1994–) by Akizuki Ko also gained popularity in China.
[Chinese Platforms]
In 1998, Sangsang Academy a prominent website for Chinese manga fans, began to offer a special section for BL works.
At first, most BL works posted there were either translations of Japanese works or more often than not, unauthorized repostings of works of Taiwanese writers. This practice soon provoked a unanimous protest from Taiwanese BL writers, which in turn motivated mainland BL fans to produce their own original BL works.
The following two years witnessed a substantial increase in the quality and quantity of BL fiction, an intense effort to cultivate unique individual styles, and a collective ambition to compete with foreign counterparts.
[Styles]
Some BL writers borrowed themes and plot devices from popular martial arts novels, a derivative of the traditional ‘chaptered novel’.
Chaptered novel (zhanghui xiaoshuo) is a type of novel written in the vernacular, with each chapter headed by a couplet giving the gist of its content. The novelist form became mature in the sixteenth century. Well-known classical novels of Chinese literature, such as Journey to the West (Xiyou Ji), The Plum in the Golden Vase (Jin Ping Mei), and Dream of the Red Chamber (Honglou Meng) are all written in this form.
Others, influenced by Japanese BL novels, honed their skills in nuanced psychological description and indirect expressions.
A few ‘European-style’ BL writers not only drew on European history for plot ideas but imitated the solemn diction of Chinese translation of European classics.
[Transnational differences]
[C]ontrary to Japanese manga’s tendency to portray foreign characters in exotic foreign settings
[E]arly Chinese BL stories are often set in ancient China, tapping into indigenous male homosexual tradition that ‘dates back to at least the Bronze Age’.
[Full Circle]
Since the turn of the new century, mainland writers have been confident enough to post their works on Taiwanese websites and release tankobon in Taiwan.
In 2011, Feng Yu Jiu Tian (Phoenix in the Ninth Heaven), a novel written by leading Chinese BL writer Feng Nong, was adapted into a manga series and published in Japan by Libre Publishing. The translated manga bears the new succinct title Outaishi wa Mujihi ni Ubawareru (The Crown Prince is Raped Pitilessly). Concurrently, an extra story of Phoenix in the Ninth Heaven named ‘Bath Dreams’ was also published in famous Japanese BL magazine BeBoy Gold.
[Commercialization]
One community that has made a significant contribution to the initial boom of BL in China is the Lucifer Club. Established in 1999, Lucifer is the first online forum dedicated solely to BL and remained for a long time the most influential BL website in China. Despite a rigorous membership registration and monitoring system, Lucifer quickly earned its reputation as the ‘holy land’ for BL fans and drew many well-known BL writers.
Unfortunately, in 2007, when a registered writer was accused of plagiarism, the club administrators mishandled the charge. As a result, almost two thirds of regular writers and readers left the club as a gesture of protest.
Since then, Lucifer’s popularity has suffered a remarkable decline.
In the meantime, commercial literature websites such as Jinjiang and My Fresh attracted a large number of BL writers and readers as a result of their steady growth and proper management.
[JJWXC]
Established in 2003, Jinjiang is now the largest women’s literature website in China.
Our calculation shows that, as of February 2012, about 199,100 BL stories have been published on Jinjiang, among which 145,600 are original; the rest are fan fiction.
‘Jinjiang’s easy access serves to effectively disseminate danmei to a broader fan base and helps to mainstream this previously marginal subculture.’
[Censorship and penalty]
In early 2011, the Zhengzhou police bureau busted a commercial BL website of 600,000 registered users and arrested a dozen young writers under the charge of spreading obscene articles.

[Subgenres]
In the course of development, Chinese BL fiction has split into many subgenres, and each subgenre has its own stable readership.
In narrative style, there are ‘abuse fiction’ (nüe wen), ‘sweet fiction’ (tian wen) and ‘realistic fiction’ (xianshi xiang wen).
‘Abuse fiction’, as the name indicates, features physical and mental abuse, including rape, BDSM and imprisonment. It might be the equivalent of ‘darkfic’ in Western fanfic.
‘Sweet fiction’ is similar to ‘fluff’, generally set in an everyday domestic environment, emphasizing the tender love between the seme and the uke.
‘Realistic fiction’ is so named because the characters and plots in those stories are more realistic, often indistinguishable from gay literature.
In pairing and characterization, there is a variety of combination, such as strong seme × weak uke, strong seme × strong uke, weak seme × strong uke, weak seme × weak uke, or ‘reversible’.
According to their settings, BL stories can be divided into fantasy stories, classical stories [aka historical setting] and modern stories.
Since age discrepancy between the seme and uke is an important element, distinction is also made between ‘old seme fiction’ (nianshang wen), in which the seme is older than the uke, and ‘young seme fiction’ (nianxia wen), in which the age situation is reversed.
In addition, there are a number of BL subgenres that particularly test readers’ tolerance for taboo subjects, for example: mpreg, hermaphrodite protagonist and incest.
