Pray for your family to be the "Fragrance Of God' in a very stanky culture. Pray to be fragrant in God's love, kindness, wisdom, hope, peace and grace.

A Gentle Answer Turns Away Wrath
1 A gentle answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger.
2 The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, But the mouth of fools gush out folly.
3 The LORD's eyes are everywhere, Keeping watch on the evil and the good.
4 A gentle tongue is a tree of life, But deceit in it crushes the spirit.
5 A fool despises his father's correction, But he who heeds reproof shows prudence.
6 In the house of the righteous is much treasure, But the income of the wicked brings trouble.
7 The lips of the wise spread knowledge; Not so with the heart of fools.
8 The sacrifice made by the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, But the prayer of the upright is his delight.
9 The way of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, But he loves him who follows after righteousness.
10 There is stern discipline for one who forsakes the way: Whoever hates reproof shall die.
11 She'ol and Avaddon are before the LORD -- How much more then the hearts of the children of men!
12 A scoffer doesn't love to be reproved; He will not go to the wise.
13 A glad heart makes a cheerful face; But an aching heart breaks the spirit.
14 The heart of one who has understanding seeks knowledge, But the mouths of fools feed on folly.
15 All the days of the afflicted are wretched, But one who has a cheerful heart enjoys a continual feast.
16 Better is little, with the fear of the LORD, Than great treasure with trouble.
17 Better is a dinner of herbs, where love is, Than a fattened calf with hatred.
18 A wrathful man stirs up contention, But one who is slow to anger appeases strife.
19 The way of the sluggard is like a thorn patch, But the path of the upright is a highway.
20 A wise son makes a father glad, But a foolish man despises his mother.
21 Folly is joy to one who is void of wisdom, But a man of understanding keeps his way straight.
22 Where there is no counsel, plans fail; But in a multitude of counselors they are established.
23 Joy comes to a man with the reply of his mouth. How good is a word at the right time!
24 The path of life leads upward for the wise, To keep him from going downward to She'ol.
25 The LORD will uproot the house of the proud, But he will keep the widow's borders intact.
26 The LORD detests the thoughts of the wicked, But the thoughts of the pure are pleasing.
27 He who is greedy for gain troubles his own house, But he who hates bribes will live.
28 The heart of the righteous weighs answers, But the mouth of the wicked gushes out evil.
29 The LORD is far from the wicked, But he hears the prayer of the righteous.
30 The light of the eyes rejoices the heart. Good news gives health to the bones.
31 The ear that listens to the reproof lives, And will be at home among the wise.
32 He who refuses correction despises his own soul, But he who listens to reproof gets understanding.
33 The fear of the LORD teaches wisdom. Before honor is humility.

God doesn't create ugly, He creates beautiful/handsome.
God doesn't make mistakes. You are not a mistake.
God loves you so, so, so much, even when things are tough <3
You are worthy and so loved!
Don't feel insecure about yourself, you are made perfectly in God's image.
Saying that you hate something about yourself is the same equivalent of saying, "Hey God, you made a mistake. You didn't make me right."
But God doesn't make mistakes, He created you exactly as He intended for you to be.

Line Upon Line Lesson 008: God Never Forgets
Genesis 8:1 - Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.
â€Was God so focused on destroying the world with the flood, He forgot about Noah and all the animals on the ark? What are we to make of this Bible verse?
Let’s read together Deuteronomy 4:31; Psalm 9:12; Isaiah 49:15; and Hebrews 6:10.
The Bible clearly states that God does not forget, whether it’s covenants He made or people. If anything, people are the ones who forget about God. So, what does Genesis 8:1 mean?
Let’s read together Genesis 19:29; Genesis 30:22; Exodus 32:13; Job 14:13; and Psalm 132:1.
When God remembers someone, it is usually in the context of taking action and showing mercy to that individual. God never forgot Noah. God personally closed the ark (Genesis 7:16). It was God’s power that protected the ark from a cataclysmic flood that destroyed virtually all of humanity and literally reshaped the earth. In fact, God ended the flood and made the water slowly subside. He wanted to make sure the ark and its inhabitants safely landed aground.
Let’s read together Nehemiah 1:5; Psalm 25:7; Isaiah 30:8; and Ephesians 2:4.
Genesis 8:1 is not an example of a wrathful God who forgot Noah. Rather, it is a subtle reminder that love and mercy are a part of God’s character.

I’ll never forget the day. My young son came home from school despondent, and lacking his normal carefree smile. When I scooped him up in a hug and attempted to lighten the mood with a tickle-fest, I was instead greeted with tears.
“Mom, some kids at school said I wasn’t smart enough to sit at the cool kids’ table.”
I thought my heart was going to shatter into a million pieces right there in front of this sweet boy who had a heart of gold and the most generous spirit to boot.
I could tell him it wasn’t true. I could tell him what I thought. More importantly, I would share with him what God said because that’s the only One whose opinion counts.
I spent many years listening to wrong opinions. Too many years, in fact, not really appreciating what God said about me. I lived too long believing that God was mad at me, and that He needed me to be perfect in order to love me.
What if we decided to no longer let the enemy destroy our identity and dealt with the issue of self-hatred? What if we stopped giving so much credit to the opinions of others, and cared only about the One whose opinion counts? What if instead of going down the road of comparing ourselves to others we stopped and said, “Father, I’m about to beat myself up, but before I do, why don’t you tell me what you think of me? How do you see me, Father?” Wouldn’t that change everything?
I grew up in the church. I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was seven years old, and I was in church every time the doors were open. In fact, my family often opened the doors!
I attended Sunday School every week, and won the white Bible for inviting the most people to church. I scored when it came to Scripture verse drills. And yet, if I’m being honest with you, something was missing: I didn’t really know what God said about me. That made me easy prey for the enemy of my soul to flood my mind and my heart with lies that stole my joy, killed my peace, and destroyed my identity.
Scripture says, “My people perish for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6).
What I didn’t know then was exactly what my son needed to know in order to settle the issue of his worth, and to realize that while others may reject us, he was accepted by the only One whose opinion counts. He needed to know, and maybe you do too, that God says:
You are beautiful. (Psalm 45:11)
You are lovely. (Daniel 12:3)
You are loved. (Jeremiah 31:3)
You are chosen. (John 15:16)
You are special. (Ephesians 2:10)
You are created in His image. (Genesis 1:27)
You are cared for. (Ephesians 3:17-19)
You are strong. (Psalm 68:35)
You are precious. (1 Corinthians 6:20)
You are protected. (Psalm 121:3)
You are unique. (Psalm 139:13)
You are important. (1 Peter 2:9)
You are forgiven. (Psalm 103:12)
You were created for a purpose. (Jeremiah 29:11)
You are empowered. (Philippians 4:13)
You are a new creation. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
You are accepted. (Ephesians 1:6)
You are the apple of His eye. (Zechariah 2:8)
You are family. (Ephesians 2:19)
You are His. (Isaiah 43:1)
He and I would have to have additional discussions for this to sink in, but it was a great place to start. The best place to start, in fact—knowing the truth that matters from the One whose opinion counts.
Knowing what the Father says about you changes everything. Do you know what God says about you? Which of these Scriptures do you need to embrace today?”

Heartstrings: Glorious Praise to the God of Heaven and Earth
Praising God from a pure heart, acknowledging Him in all of our ways, is pleasing in His sight. He is God, Creator, and Ruler of all. We have no life apart from Him. The life of every living creature, and the breath of all mankind is in His hand. (See Job 12:10)
He has no pleasure in disloyal hearts. (See 1 Samuel 15:20-23, Isaiah 29:13-14, Ezekiel 33:31-32, and John 4:21-24)
"Let us lift our hearts and hands to God in heaven." (Lamentations 3:41)
"Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the Lord is the great God, and the great King above all gods. In His hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the hills are His also. The sea is His, for He made it; and His hands formed the dry land. Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. Chapter 19 - Of the Law of God
1. God gave to Adam a law of universal obedience written in his heart, and a particular precept of not eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil; by which He bound him and all his posterity to personal, entire, exact, and perpetual obedience; promised life upon the fulfilling, and threatened death upon the breach of it, and endued him with power and ability to keep it.

2. The same law that was first written in the heart of man continued to be a perfect rule of righteousness after the fall, and was delivered by God upon Mount Sinai, in ten commandments, and written in two tables, the four first containing our duty towards God, and the other six, our duty to man.

3. Besides this law, commonly called moral, God was pleased to give to the people of Israel ceremonial laws, containing several typical ordinances, partly of worship, prefiguring Christ, His graces, actions, sufferings, and benefits; and partly holding forth divers instructions of moral duties, all which ceremonial laws being appointed only to the time of reformation, are, by Jesus Christ the true Messiah and only law-giver, who was furnished with power from the Father for that end abrogated and taken away.

4. To them also He gave sundry judicial laws, which expired together with the state of that people, not obliging any now by virtue of that institution; their general equity only being of moral use.

The moral law doth for ever bind all, as well justified persons as others, to the obedience thereof, and that not only in regard of the matter contained in it, but also in respect of the authority of God the Creator, who gave it; neither doth Christ in the Gospel any way dissolve, but much strengthen this obligation.

Although true believers be not under the law as a covenant of works, to be thereby justified or condemned, yet it is of great use to them as well as to others, in that as a rule of life, informing them of the will of God and their duty, it directs and binds them to walk accordingly; discovering also the sinful pollutions of their natures, hearts, and lives, so as examining themselves thereby, they may come to further conviction of, humiliation for, and hatred against, sin; together with a clearer sight of the need they have of Christ and the perfection of His obedience; it is likewise of use to the regenerate to restrain their corruptions, in that it forbids sin; and the threatenings of it serve to shew what even their sins deserve, and what afflictions in this life they may expect for them, although freed from the curse and unallayed rigour thereof. The promises of it likewise shew them God’s approbation of obedience, and what blessings they may expect upon the performance thereof, though not as due to them by the law as a covenant of works; so as man’s doing good and refraining from evil, because the law encourageth to the one and deterreth from the other, is no evidence of his being under the law and not under grace.

The Proverbs of Solomon
1 The wise sayings of Solomon, the son of David, king of Israel.
2 To have knowledge of wise teaching; to be clear about the words of reason:
3 To be trained in the ways of wisdom, in righteousness and judging truly and straight behaviour:
4 To make the simple-minded sharp, and to give the young man knowledge, and serious purpose:
5 (The wise man, hearing, will get greater learning, and the acts of the man of good sense will be wisely guided:)
6 To get the sense of wise sayings and secrets, and of the words of the wise and their dark sayings.
7 The fear of the Lord is the start of knowledge: but the foolish have no use for wisdom and teaching.
Advice to a Son
8 My son, give ear to the training of your father, and do not give up the teaching of your mother:
9 For they will be a crown of grace for your head, and chain-ornaments about your neck.
10 My son, if sinners would take you out of the right way, do not go with them.
11 If they say, Come with us; let us make designs against the good, waiting secretly for the upright, without cause;
12 Let us overcome them living, like the underworld, and in their strength, as those who go down to death;
13 Goods of great price will be ours, our houses will be full of wealth;
14 Take your chance with us, and we will all have one money-bag:
15 My son, do not go with them; keep your feet from their ways:
16 For their feet are running after evil, and they are quick to take a man's life.
17 Truly, to no purpose is the net stretched out before the eyes of the bird:
18 And they are secretly waiting for their blood and making ready destruction for themselves.
19 Such is the fate of everyone who goes in search of profit; it takes away the life of its owners.
The Good Woman—Wisdom
20 Wisdom is crying out in the street; her voice is loud in the open places;
21 Her words are sounding in the meeting-places, and in the doorways of the town:
22 How long, you simple ones, will foolish things be dear to you? and pride a delight to the haters of authority? how long will the foolish go on hating knowledge?
23 Be turned again by my sharp words: see, I will send the flow of my spirit on you, and make my words clear to you.
24 Because your ears were shut to my voice; no one gave attention to my out-stretched hand;
25 You were not controlled by my guiding, and would have nothing to do with my sharp words:
26 So in the day of your trouble I will be laughing; I will make sport of your fear;
27 When your fear comes on you like a storm, and your trouble like a rushing wind; when pain and sorrow come on you.
28 Then I will give no answer to their cries; searching for me early, they will not see me:
29 For they were haters of knowledge, and did not give their hearts to the fear of the Lord:
30 They had no desire for my teaching, and my words of protest were as nothing to them.
31 So the fruit of their way will be their food, and with the designs of their hearts they will be made full.
32 For the turning back of the simple from teaching will be the cause of their death, and the peace of the foolish will be their destruction.
33 But whoever gives ear to me will take his rest safely, living in peace without fear of evil.
