all about affirming
[ based on my opinion only ]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
notes: this is just a post i was planning to write for while to clarify a lot of confusions surrounding affirming. you absolutely do not need to affirm if that's not something you want. this is just to explain my point of view. i'll debunk a bunch of myths surrounding affirming from MY point of view so people who want to affirm can help clear their confusion.
⛲table of contents . . .
① you don't have to affirm ② affirming vs thinking ③ vain affirming ④ you don't need to reprogram your mind ⑤ affirming + persisting and states ⑥ wording affirmations ⑦ FAQ ⑧ summary
Tumblr media
you do NOT have to affirm
i know there used to be this widespread belief that you must affirm or saturate your mind. but i ofc i do NOT ever want to push affirming onto people who don't prefer to. you can do whatever you want and whatever works for you. you DON'T have to anything really. affirming works for many people like me but if it's not something you like to do, there's no need. please do what you feel best doing <3
affirming vs thinking
some people say that you are always thinking, so you are always affirming. while others say affirming has nothing to do with thoughts and are simple a method.
here's my take on this: affirming is thinking IF you naturally think in affirmations. however, some people say they may not think in affirmations. and rather, they think in visuals, for example. if that's the case, then affirming is NOT neccesarliy "thinking" for you in that sense. so you are not affirming every second of the day if you don't think in affirmations. it's like a square is a rectangle, but a rectangle is not neccesarily a square. so in short, affirming "is" thinking, but thinking is NOT necessarily affirming.
what is vain affirming
when people come accross the idea of affirming robotically or mindlessly repeating affirmations, they may ask
"but does that even work? isn't that just vain affirming?"
this is where it gets tricky and i've started to figure out how it works from MY perspective. as you know, i am someone who always robotically affirms because that's what always worked for me.
vain affiming: affirming with ZERO belief. now don't get this confused. by belief, i do not neccesarily mean believing in the affirmations. i mean believing if it works or not
remember that this is law of assumption, so if you assume it works, it works.
mindless affirming can usually work in one of multiple ways. i don't want to overcomplicate this but here's my breakdown.
both of these work:
1: affirm to saturate your mind so you can BELIEVE in affirmations.
2: affirming but DON'T NEED to believe in your affirmations. instead, just assume that repeating affirmations will work/being you your affirmation(ex. some people believe affirming rewires their brain, some people believe affirming magically gives them their desire, etc)
if you want to keep affirming until you believe what you stated/implied in the affirmation is a FACT, then go with option one. HOWEVER, if you don't want to believe in your affirmations, and just want to believe that affirming repeatedly works, choose option 2. i usually go with option 2 because it can be tiring to keep affirming just to force a belief. but do which one you want.
now some people will think option 2 is vain affirming. but that isn't what vain affirming is because vain affirming is saying affirmations without ANY faith.
vain affirming: if you assume affirming does not work, and you don't believe in your affirmations whatsoever. having zero faith and only "hoping" it would work(but your dominant assumption is that it doesn't work. you still telling yourself "it probably won't work anyways")
"but doesn't that contradict this post?"
i made a post a couple weeks ago about taylor tookes manifesting with ZERO belief. and i know in the past i've always said that you do not need any belief. which is partially true but my views have changed slightly. the reason it worked for taylor tookes is because she already installed the assumption in her head that affirming always work regardless what you are "believing." taylor tookes always preached affirming and persisting, sammy's teachings, affirming is thoughts, etc. which usually follows the rule that "you are always affirming because affirming is thinking. so manifesting is just affirming until you get yout manifestation." so EVEN THOUGH she claims to have been in disbelief upon learning LOA, she already had some amount of faith in affirming because she thinks she is always affirming and creating reality through that, even though she DOUBTED.
in short: it does not contradict because it likely worked for taylor as a result of her faith and already having the assumption that affirming is what manifests desires. yes she may not have FULLY believed that it would work because she probably doubted a lot(which is why she said she "didn't" believe), but it just shows how a small bit of faith goes a long way
don't worry too much about this. if you want to affirm, but feel confused, just choose one of the two options i listed above. and remember if you just have a small bit of faith, it will work it all depends on your assumption. your faith will increase over time. if's okay to doubt or not believe 100%. a small amount can go a long way. if all this is feeling complicated, don't worry about it.
there's no need to reprogram your mind
there's a "science side" of a+p loa community that preaches neural pathways and such. however, i want to reassure you that you do not need to "impress" the subconscious or impress anything for that matter. you absolutely do not need to repeat 10k affirmations to amnifest. that's just a random rough estimate. you don't even need to worry about neural pathways. it doesn't matter at all. people only pring up the "science" to help cultivate faith and help back up their assumption that affirming works(option 2 of what i listed above). they use this as a way to assume that affirming works.
affirming and persisting does not contradict states
this might be controversial but i've seen people say you cannot affirm and persist and still be doing states at the same time.
well first off, states isn't really something you can do. yes, you can switch states and return to states. you're always doing that. well you're always being something, so you're basically always in a state. you always have a brain, you always have a mindset, you always embodying a mindset, you're always embodying something, you're always being something. therefore, you're basically always in a state. it's not like a method where you consciously choose to do. states you can switch but you can't "not do." that's why you're technically always in a state.
but if affirming and persisting contradicts states, why do people succeed by affirming and persisting, right? see, affirming and persisting wouldn't work if it's "contradicting states" and you "couldn't" be both in a state, and affirming and persisting.
secondly, affirming maintains a state. your intention puts you into another state, and affirming helps you maintain it.
one reason i think people say "a+p contradicts states" is because they have the wrong idea of what persisting means.
persisting is NOT repetition. when i talk about affirming, you don't necessarily need to affirm 10k times on loop to manifest. that's not how it works. it works if you assume so, but you can get away with affirming once IF you assume that works.
persisting is just what decision you are sticking to, despite the circumstances/doubts/3d, etc. when you intend, you are making the conscious decision that your desire is yours. creation is finished when you say so. affirming is telling yourself statements implying that your desire is true. persisting is sticking to the new assumption/story, despite everything happening. no matter what is happening. you're consciously sticking to that decision no matter what.
affirming to maintain your state, and persisting in the state that your desire is already done works because it will change your dwelling state.
wording affirmations
i've recieved some asks of people being confused as to whether they should or shouldn't affirm in future tense. and my answer will always be: it's compelely up to you. affirming in future tense definitely works if you assume so.
some may think affirming in future tense puts them in a state of lack. but that's not completely true. it sounds a bit limiting to people. because if you affirm in future tense knowing that your desire absolutely will come, it will. or if you affirm knowing that no matter what tense or how you word your affirmations, it still works, then it does.
one big myth about affirming is that you must affirm and word your affirmations a certain way. which is FALSE. it does not matter how you word it. this isn't law of attraction ya'll. you can literally affirm "money" and assume it gives money to you, then it will. whatever you assume is true is true.
also, you can use HOWEVER MANY affirmations you want. i don't care if you have a list of 100 affirmations. if you assume that no matter how many affirmations you say, it works, then it works. you can simply affirm one affirmation and it works. the reason why i use only one is only because i find it easier to repeat one affirmation to myself than 100 different affirmations. it's easier for me to concentrate on one, but you don't have to. if you think saying a list of 100 affirmations works, it will work.
you can choose to mindlessly affirm, OR affirm naturally(vaunting/rampaging). it literally doesn't matter. whatever YOU PREFER.
FAQ
do i HAVE to affirm? ☆ no, do what you prefer. if you dont like affirming, don't do it.
how many times do i have to affirm? ☆ however many times you assume you have to affirm, how many times it will FULFILL you
do i have to believe in affirmations? ☆ no, if you assume that simply repeating affirmations without believing the affirmation will still work, it will work.
do i have to repeat 10k affirmations to create a new neural pathway? ☆ not at all, only if you assume that
do i have to saturate my mind/repeat affirmations on loop?☆ no, if you don't want to then don't
is affirming the same as thinking? ☆ if you actually naturally think in affirmations, then yes. otherwise, it's not really considered thinking in that case.
can i just robotically affirm? ☆ yes.
will affirming in future tense put me in a state of lack? ☆ no, unless you assume that. you can literally affirm with whatever wording you want.
how many affirmations should i use? ☆ however many you want
Tumblr media
In summary
there's no rules when it comes to affirming, manifesting, or anything. do whatever you like, however you like. after all, this is law of assumption. reality exists because of your consciousness, everything is within you, everything is you, what you're aware of. so affirm if you want. if you don't want to, then do what works for you. your assumptions dictate reality. it's your world honey 🤍

What is your opinion on drv3 chapter 2... or just kirumi and ryoma's story/dynamic?
Tumblr media
[Lyrics from: 'Julie vs. Robot Julie' by ARTHUR]
I'm probably biased but OUGHGHFGH CHAPTER 2........
It's a running thing with me but I tend to really like the chapter 2s in each game,,, probably cause they involve characters I like [i.e: Mondo, Chihiro, Fuyuhiko, Ryoma, etc.]
[read more if you want to read my rant bc I wrote more than I usually do]
From the very start Ryoma was really interesting to me, especially in chapter one when he offered himself as a sacrifice to stop the time limit,, It was nice to see him slowly get better and try to find a reason to live... but uh... we eventually get to see what happens...
Kirumi on the other hand didn't really catch my eye as much, well I mean her design goes hard but for me, she faded into the background a lot...
Also holy shit this chapter probably has one of the best body discoveries in the series. The chill I felt when Ryoma's body just fucking appeared in the piranha tank and seeing it shortly get torn apart really made an impression on me. It was obvious that something was going to go wrong during the magic show but that was still so shocking to me. Out of all the games, V3 is definitely the one that made me audibly go: "NO!💥💥💥!!!!!" the most
It kinda makes me wish that Himiko and Ryoma had more of a connection before his death or at least had Himiko acknowledge his death more... not only did someone die in her show that was supposed to distract everyone from the killing,, but it was someone who was actually pretty nice to her... But also to be fair Himiko represses her grief a lot, only really letting it out during chapter 3. I dunno I just want the depressed mage and the depressed tennis pro to be besties, is that too much to wish for? <//3
The trial was pretty alright,, to be honest, I was a little annoyed at Himiko for still sticking to her magic shtick even after someone fucking died but I think that was made up for when Kirumi got accused. Oh boy, I said Kirumi didn't catch my attention earlier but this trial made me like her so much. The manipulative shit she says during the trial activated my brain cells, she was willing to deceive the people she'd been surviving with to try and essentially save the country...
It feels like a more personal version of the trolley cart problem: Would you fight alongside these 13 people you've gotten to know and survive with, with the slim chance that you might escape? Or would you take the risk and purposely kill all of them to fulfill your duty and save a whole country? It's debatable if what Kirumi did was really 'selfless' or not. It made her really interesting to me.
And finally... oh my god, Ryoma, man.... The reveal that his motive video was empty and that he had no one to live for broke my heart so badly <//3 poor guy has gone through too much. The fact that he gave up like that, offering himself up to Kirumi is so... RGHARGHR!!!! 💥💥💥,, PLEASE.........
Even though I really wanted Ryoma to survive, I thought that chapter 2 was a depressing but fitting end for him. Like it really sucks bad that he wasn't able to find a reason to live but not everyone can have a good ending unfortunately... I just want to grab him and shake him around GRUGAHRGHH 💥💥💥
so uh in short: me likey chapter 2 I go insane every time I think about it.................

About Sanae
Alright, so Sanae Kochiya
Is known to have been a geek as a human in the outside world (referencing pop culture often in multiple of her appearances)
Has very specifically been shown to be into science-related fiction (her interest in aliens in UFO, her absolute joy at being able to go to the moon, her Soku story involving her thinking that Hisotensoku is a giant robot)
Is a noted eccentric
Used to read "occult magazines" when she was young around the turn of the century (Vs. Patchouli win dialogue, Soku) These things we know about her factually
We also know that in the outside world (our world)
American comic books have a niche in Japan (they are not sold in all book stores and the more fashionable shops that sell them sell them in English for the art [Justin Sevakis w/ ANN, 2018])
Most Japanese people who read comics read comics from the Big 2 (Marvel, DC)
At some point, American comics were serialized in Japanese magazines (Justin Sevakis w/ ANN, 2018)
There was a huge boom in extreme/grimdark themes and tropes in 90s American comics
Spider-Man antagonist Michael Morbius had a solo run starting in 1992
Thus, we can infer
Sanae, as an eccentric and a nerd, has probably read some American comics
Sanae would have been reading comics from the Big 2
Sanae, who read magazines in the 90s, could have read those comics in the 90s (if not through magazines, then through collected editions)
Sanae would probably lean more into Marvel, as Marvel is heavy on sci-fi elements
Sanae would be in the middle of the era of 90s grimdark
Leaning more Marvel, Sanae would definitely had read Spider-Man if she read western comics
What I'm saying is, there is a non-zero chance that Sanae Kochiya has read Morbius, The Living Vampire (1992). Now, her opinions of Morbius, at least in my opinion, depends on when she started reading/what issues she read, but that doesn't change the fact that the chance that she has knowledge of Morbius exists.

HI !!!!!! HUGE fan of ur stuff esp sun/moon and iz stuff 🥺<3 just wanted to ask smt abt SL, if thats ok: what is ppls general perspective(?) abt robots/animatronics in SLs universe? bc its clear that the fact y/n considers sun n moon PEOPLE is a p big deal, so i was rly curious, what would be a more 'normal' opinion 4 ppl to have abt them? & also are u planning on maybe explore this topic a bit more in the story? ok thats it ! thank u so much!! hope u have a GREAT day you are rly cool !!!<3
I've already explored this! In some tumblr posts but also in my fic Saturday Insomnia.
Solar Lunacy is set in that sort of 'inbetween' where robots aren't exactly commonly walking among us as equals yet, but are basically everywhere.
(If you've ever played or watched Detroit: Become Human, then it's like that.)
In this Universe/timeline, Fazbear Entertainment isn't just a family establishment chain but also a huge tech giant that's basically got a monopoly over a lot of the tech and automation in the world. Robots are regularly used everywhere, either for convience or in-home situations, like the staff-bot employee at the gas station reader goes to before every shift, or the caretaker bot that the elderly woman had in Saturday Insomnia.
All robots that Fazbear Corp create have the same sentience and intelligence as their Pizzaplex counterparts, even if they were made for completely different scenerios aka a specfic job or sitution rather than for the entertainment for families. Some robots are more 'awake' in sentience than others, but the current world population has a pretty split and balanced take on them.
Some people get attatched and respect the robots the same way we all do with roombas, and other people see them as disposibal and non-sentient as a phone. In the world currently, (as of chapter 8) there is talk of robots gaining sentience and the backlash of it being that there's that usual 'the robots are going to replace us!!!' type of rhetoric vs the 'this is a new form of intelligent life that we must respect and like to be friends with'.
But for the most part, in this point of time (chapter 8) a majority of the population is in denial about their robots being sentient and that they have reached personhood. At least, most of them. Overtime, other countries in the world outside of the reader's have given more rights and recognition to robots, some giving them citizenship while others are trying to ban complex and Fazbear automations in whole.
For Fazbear Entertainment, it would be *really bad* if the robots they staff without pay, leave, benifits and regularly trade, break and replace without a second thought were suddenly given the same rights and viewed as regular people and citizens.
That detail comes into play a huge part when the ARC 3 rolls around, after the fire, and you have a situation where the Daycare Attendant is living with the reader without Fazbear Entertainment breathing down their neck about it, but that's spoilery stuff I can't get too much into just yet lol.
(Thank you for liking my work!!!)

Everything GREAT about RWBY Volume 7 that Volume 8 Completely Ruined (A Retrospect / Salty Opinion)
You can disagree with me if you like, but everything below is 100% canon :)
~~~
V7: Maiden Powers recognize Penny as a “real girl” even though she’s a robot and has the aura of a man (her father) - an incredible subversion of the Pinocchio trope that validates Penny and sets up her journey as a Maiden
V8: Penny is turned human against her will and DIES (again), the powers transfer to someone else - copy/paste of Pinocchio
V7: Salem is moments away and fast approaching, so the heroes have literal SECONDS to come up with a plan before she invades Atlas. Salem arrives at the end of the season, ready to strike
V8: Salem WAITS in her whale and doesn’t attack right away, completely retconning the urgency and stakes at the end of Volume 7
V7: Ruby, Blake(?), and Nora want to help Mantle the whole Volume. Team RWBY is angry Ironwood is leaving Mantle behind and want to do something about it - have no plan but are willing to try anyway (very noble but naive)
V8: Ruby abandons Mantle in episode 1 and steals Ironwood’s idea for Amity, Blake and Nora go with her. Yang helps out in Mantle for one episode before abandoning it (everyone abandons Mantle, Salem doesn’t even attack Mantle)
V7: The Staff can only be used for one purpose at a time and if someone else uses it, the previous creation will disappear, foreshadowing that Atlas will inevitably fall and Salem will get the Relic. Ironwood establishes the Staff is keeping Amity up and that the Gravity Dust is a cover-up story for the public
V8: Gravity Dust is apparently holding up Atlas anyway so they have time to use the Staff and evacuate people before it crashes. Team RWBY PURPOSEFULLY destroy a whole continent and takes the Relic out of the Vault for no reason (they do Salem's job for her)
V7: Ironwood wants to save all of Atlas’s citizens, Mantle citizens already evacuated, TWO RELICS = saving Remnant (keeping them away from Salem), and a Maiden. Wants to save who he can in the VERY short time he can, knows that in war there are consequences and you cannot save everyone. They cannot beat Salem so why risk his entire city/two Relics in a battle he knows he cannot win? (Salem is immortal). A HERO/war veteran who recognizes the cost of war
V8: Ironwood kills his own citizens for no reason, threatens to bomb his own city for no reason AFTER Salem is already defeated, and only cares about the “plot of land” that Atlas is on, the upper class, and technology. Turned into a one-dimensional antagonist because he disagrees with the protagonists
V7: Ironwood sacrifices his own arm to successfully stop a bad guy in the greatest act of heroism the show has ever seen (“Hero” plays in the background)
V8: Ironwood "losing limbs represents him losing his humanity" and how he “has sacrificed everyone else”. Now has a Semblance that he cannot control that can potentially control his mind against his will (never brought up and can be attributed to mental health)
V7: Ruby VS Ironwood - different ideologies on how to save people, but neither of them are wrong. Will they come together and stop their common enemy (Salem), or give-in to fear and become divided? No right or wrong answer - complicated, morally grey, trolley-problem
V8: Ruby denounces Ironwood to the world as she preaches about being united, Ironwood is the big-bad of the season and dies a villain while Salem is right there (common enemy). Team RWBY’s way of thinking was right all along even though they only came up with a plan after Salem was defeated and ended up evacuating anyway, the same thing Ironwood wanted to do from the beginning. Do not acknowledge the parallels between them and how team RWBY did more harm than good - Ren tries to bring this up but is later forced to apologize and treated as wrong even though he was spitting straight facts
V7: Ruby lies to Ironwood and gets called out for it, arrested and loses Ironwood’s trust (immediate consequences of her actions). Ruby did the same thing Ozpin did (lie with good intentions), which they got mad at him for but now she is put in his shoes - start of some great character development for Ruby!
V8: Ruby’s lie is never brought up again and there are no long-term consequences for her actions. She gets away scott-free and never admits to her mistakes. Ruby never realizes that she did the same thing Ozpin did and shows no empathy toward him, makes OZPIN apologize to them while Emerald (a bad guy) sits on the steps and watches that happen
V7: Ruby is put in the same position as Ironwood - who can you save in the short amount of time you have ? Has to learn what it truly means to be a leader in a time of war
V8: Ruby sits and drinks tea for half the Volume wondering what to do and then destroys an entire continent on purpose and loses two Relics in the span of two days - does not acknowledge that Ironowod had a point
V7: Salem cannot be beaten, how will they fight her and her Whale?
V8: Oscar blows her and the Whale up half-way through the Volume after Salem does absolutely nothing the whole season. Ozpin now has a magical bomb in his staff he could have used any time
V7: There is NO WAY to save everyone
V8: The Staff has the power to do literally anything so let's create portals to get everyone out
V7: Vacuo is the next target
V8: Team RWBY dump the entire population of Atlas and Mantle into Vacuo, causing a refugee crisis with the knowledge that Salem is heading there next (Emerald knows this and is on their side now, she would have told them)
V7: Ironwood instantly trusts team RWBY with his entire plan, gives them back the Relic, gives them their huntsman licenses. Meanwhile the girls do not trust their allies (good-guys) and lie to them and go behind their backs and betray their trust - a good message on trust the girls will eventually have to learn
V8: Trust Emerald and tell her everything about their plan, trust Hazel with the password to the Lamp. “Trust is a risk” now after they didn’t trust a GOOD GUY for an entire Volume (hypocrites)
V7: Qrow is indirectly responsible for Clover’s death but takes it out on Ironwood in his anger, wants to fight Ironwood and probably kill him in rage. Probably lets himself be arrested so he can get closer to Ironwood
V8: Qrow gets over his grudge and never confronts Ironwood (we all wanted this to happen right?) after sitting out in prison the whole Volume. Doesn't seem to care that his nieces are out there facing Salem as he's in jail
V7: One question left in the Lamp, but they cannot summon Jynn unless they actually have a question this time (via. Volume 6)
V8: Oscar shows Jynn to Hazel and Emerald, and she lets them go without asking a question
V7: Weiss’ mother tells her not to forget about her brother
V8: Weiss sticks a sword in her brother’s face and only thanks him after he proves himself useful
V7: Fall of Beacon 2.0 promised
V8: Battle of Atlas lasts one episode while the girls drink tea and watch it happen, none of the main characters (or villains for that matter) take part in the battle (it is pushed to the background)
V7: Salem vs Ozpin epic fight/reunion approaching
V8: Salem and Ozpin say two sentences to each other and do not discuss their pasts and/or fight (Oscar is the one who fights Salem)
V7: Amity is NOT finished so they cannot get a message out
V8: Amity IS finished it just needs more dust to launch
V7: Oscar is separated from the group at the end of V7, will the heroes get to him before Salem does??
V8: The heroes instantly find Oscar in the first few minutes of Volume 8, but then Salem gets him anyway (what was the point)
V7: Every single bad-guy ALIVE in the show is present at the end of the Volume
V8: Mercury and Tyrian leave half-way through the Volume after doing nothing, Ironwood is now the main villain even though Salem is right there. Ruby never comes face-to-face with Salem.
~~~
Volume 7 was (still is?) my favorite Volume. It wasn't perfect, it had flaws, but for what it's worth it gave us an INCREDIBLE set-up for what should have been the best Volume ever (Volume 8). I was beyond excited when Volume 8 came out - we were going to see legendary fights! Ruby was going to get some much-needed character development. But instead, the show completely fumbled the ball HARD, ignored everything amazing it had established the previous Volume, and completely buffered every theme, fight, character, and story-line it had going for it. :( As a fan, and as a Screenwriting Major, this is just disappointing. I'm more sad than I am angry, and this leads me to believe that everything I loved about Volume 7 was created by accident.

So the thing I have gotten about the robot vs. Clone debate is that objectively speaking, finding you are either is terrifying in different ways. For in either situation, the purpose of why you are created is what makes it truly horrifying.
I have also learned that my opinion on cloning may be a bit skewed due to the fact that I am studying biomedical engineering, so cloning things (while not entire living people) is something I am rather desensitized to.
fair enough.
i'm just-- and i've said this before-- a lot more invested in like... the fleshier side of things lol
I'm autistic, and hypermobile, i'm pretty desensitised to the idea of not being human, but the idea of being fundamentally tied to another person?? Forever?? In a way in which the only way to truly escape that connection and your part in it IS TO KILL THEM AND TAKE THEIR PLACE?? im screaming and crying and ripping out my hair

Best Underrated Anime Group A Round 4: Do It Yourself!! vs RIN-NE
Tumblr media Tumblr media
#A2: Do It Yourself!!
Girls do DIY together, but after a new industrial revolution
#A3: RIN-NE (Kyoukai no Rinne)
Girl who sees ghosts meets poor shinigami. Comedy ensues.
Details and poll under the cut!
Tumblr media
#A2: Do it Yourself!!
youtube
Summary:
This series takes place after the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Serufu and her childhood friend Miku/“Purin” both applied to an elite school, where advanced technologies are incorporated into the curriculum. The tech-savvy Purin is accepted into the school, but accident-prone Serufu is rejected and enters a traditional school instead, driving a wedge into their friendship.
On her way to class one day, Serufu encounters Rei, who has a passion for old-fashioned crafts and is the head of the school’s Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Club—which is in danger of closing due to a lack of members. Realizing that this may be her chance to repair her relationship with Purin, Serufu joins the club in hopes of creating projects that could bring them together once more.
Propaganda:
It’s just a really feel-good series with some great characters. I adore all of them and their dynamics with each other, especially the main dynamic between Serufu and Purin as it develops. I’m a really big fan of the show’s angle on stuff such as do-it-yourself crafts following another industrial revolution, just because it does frequently bring up the question of “What’s the point of DIY if in a year or two/maybe even now a robot could recreate the exact same result?” through characters like Purin (who is the major character with the lowest opinion on these kinds of crafts at the start, since she’s in the technologically advanced school and has beliefs more in line with the efficacy of technology rather than the joy of human creation), with the short answer largely being because it’s just fun!
I first watched this show before I saw a lot of AI stuff intruding upon art and rewatching it after sure was fun, because I love its ideas on the worth of doing stuff that machinery could do much faster. It’s not super complex or emotional, but that largely goes in its favor, because it really doesn’t need to be those. It’s just a fun little anime about a bunch of girls having fun together through one shared hobby that some of them had from the start and some of them adopted. I also love the opening, and the ending is a massive comfort song for me. The series can also be very funny at points, and is usually super heartwarming.
Trigger Warnings: None.
Tumblr media
#A3: RIN-NE (Kyoukai no Rinne)
youtube
Summary:
Rinne Rokudou has bigger problems than going to school—namely, helping spirits pass over to the next life. Because of this responsibility, he often finds himself short on money and struggles to buy his necessities: food, clothes, and exorcism tools.
Sakura Mamiya has been able to see ghosts since she was little. She hoped she would outgrow it, but even after starting high school, nothing has changed. To make matters worse, the first time her ever-absent classmate, Rinne, shows up for school, only Sakura can see him. She assumes, as anyone would, that he is a ghost. However, to Sakura's surprise, Rinne proceeds to attend school like normal the next day.
Propaganda:
This is one of Rumiko Takahashi’s underrated works (mostly getting overshadowed by Inuyasha due to her releasing this series after the fact), and I don’t see a lot of people talk about it often. While it’s not my favorite of her works, it’s one that I still like because of the way she portrays the characters. Plus, it still has that classic Rumic comedy and feel to it and I really love the animation with her artstyle. Anyways, if you like supernatural comedies (with a hint of romance) then vote for Rin-ne!
Trigger Warnings: None.

I think the thing people are getting at about the clone thing is that like. within the assumption of your day to day life, it creates a sudden and glaring absence of your clone-twin. where is the person you were cloned from? why aren't they here? why are you learning about this just now? (and yeah people are working from the specific assumption of learning this in their day to day, that's a common interpretation of the poll's premise of "you" find out you're a robot)
The series of posts I have on this (now all tagged #the clone (vs robot) wars) address a specific genre of argument in which the person who finds being a clone "more fucked up" to be (quoting the original poll) "horror at the lie of your body" and "you are the theft of another being, [...] you aren't you, you're them, you were made to be them, you're not different, there should not be a you, you are them," There is similar dramatic bemoaning about the loss of humanity and turmoil over your identity/selfhood itself being a lie in anti-clone camp in the notes of the poll. These are not the questions you, anon, are laying out, which would be normal immediate things to wonder. I was not addressing the argument you are explaining to me.
I don't find any of the conclusions I've quoted to be inherent or automatic to being a clone, unless a bunch of assumptions not explicitly in the premise are made. A few askers basically said people getting torn up about this are probably assuming they were made specifically to replace someone, likely with fucked up intentions. This post was about why I don't find that argument to be particularly logical when weighing two possibilities, UNLESS one were approaching it with "my gut reactions in the moment would be to assume..." I personally feel there is a big difference in the nuance between these two approaches, and most people I saw in the notes of the original poll were not explicit about this nuance. So I do not think I or you can assess what they really meant besides our own opinions and experiences talking to randos online. I find you explaining your own assumptions about random strangers' motivations as if you know them for a fact to be a bit condescending, especially when you have not demonstrated you understood the full context of what I was even talking about.
Do I expect people to have read every post on my tumblr? No, of course not. But if you are going to explain something to me when I have literally not asked for an explanation, I would hope at least an attempt to look at context for what I was posting about would be made.
In the end I don't actually think every random social media user needs to post opinions with the most carefully constructed and nuanced wording possible, and they especially don't need to post according my own personal rubric of how I like arguments laid out. Those posts were not for me. Your opinion is your opinion, just like me being annoyed on my own blog is just me being annoyed on my own blog. I can see a lot of ways in which preferring to be a robot is desirable to being a clone. I just think this one type of argument is weird/silly.

The Mitchells vs. The Machines
Hello! I like watching movies. Ideas get stuck in my head while watching them and i need them out of my brain. This is my 4/9/24 viewing of The Mitchells vs. The Machines. I like cartoons :)
This will have spoilers
Without further ado... my thoughts chronologicall
PROLONGED EYE CONTACT DODODODOD
The main VA is Abbie Jacobson (aka Princess Tiabeanie Mariabeanie de la Rochambeau Grunkwitz)
this family reminds me so much of mine minus depression and a commitment to a cult :)
girl its probably a good thing you weren't at the tech reveal. be nice to the siris, alexas and echos in your life...
i kinda wanna watch that robot movie with Will Smith and hot robots now
THEY ALL HAVE STIMS GUYS
running away from your crush and saying you hate them is so real
"what are these? robutts?"
HES TAKING NOTES
I like that the new genre of villian is a tech bro and AI
I dont like this bit about wifi, we are dependent on it yeah but people can adapt pretty well. Well some I guess.
why do dads always suggest eating the family pet?
i cannot express how autistic this family is. its constant, not demeaning or the butt of a joke. just a family being a family. I have flappy hands about it.
aww dads do love to teach their kids to drive stick shift
i do like Eric and Barbara
the robots are shooting the humans into space, that's their plan and honestly i've been saying we should shoot garbage into space for a while now so im glad somone is finally doing it
there are cute edits done by katie through the whole movie and they deserve a shout out
I knew touch screen fridges were a bad idea
NOT FURBYS WTF WHY THIS IS MY NIGHTMARE
"your whole lives i wanted to save you from disater and this is the moment ive been waiting for" - Rick (and also my father)
KATIE DRAWS ON HER HANDS TOO OMG THE DETAILS. THERE IS SO MUCH STIMMING AND IT MAKES ME HAPPY EVERY TIME
This is good family bonding, but no tears yet.
unfortunately i think the family bonding was to good. The dad left a sentimental object in katies bags and now im convinced hes gonna sacrifice himself to save the rest of the family.
now im crying. :) if you watched i bet you could guess which part.
oof crying again! a Twofer!
This movie may be healing my childhood trauma. I miss my parents. They were just doing their best
THE CALL BACKS. THE CULMANATION! ITS MAKING ME EMOTIONAL IM SORRY
thank you game grumps for introducing me to the song "Walk the Dinosaur" by Was (not was)
An accurate compilation of watching my coworkers and professors use computers
uh oh they got little brother, Linda is gonna rip out someone's heart
OH MY GOD I JUST THOUGHT SHE WAS GONNA GET MAD
ERIC AND BARBARA SUPREMECY
damn i need to see my family so i can remember why i hate them bc this is to sweet for me
TEAM E AND B! TEAM E AND B!
How long of a break between the entire world being abducted by robots and everyone going back to work was? Do you think this was like their pandemic
"My name is Monchi, king of kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair"
THEYRE BASED ON A REAL FAMILY (and the whole family has "im easily overstimulated" hair cuts, its so relatable)
It's cheesy. full of stuff you know is meant for kids and that corporate made them do. but I really liked it. I know the whole bit is that the family is weird. I don't really like that they used the word weird instead of autistic but i can kinda understand why they had to do it. i found myself relating the characters constantly. The way they run away when things get overwhelming, communicate through their interests, stim when they have big feelings (they all have their own, and most of them have a couple they do) and the way the situation their in affects them. It is not perfect representation but it did a good enough job for me.
If you read all the way through thank you! If you have any formatting tips please lmk!
Also I feel the silly need to add, this is all my opinion, and my opinion is not fact! It's okay if we don't agree and if you're nice, I would love to hear about it :)

Tales of Arcadia: Complete
A little while ago, I made a post saying that the last media related to the Tales of Arcadia I needed to see to complete it would be the movie Rise of the Titans
Well, I finally finished watching it
Edit: I forgot to say this but I am Brazilian and I watched the shows/movie in Brazilian Portuguese so there are some diferences I forgot to make a check of. Bobby is Toby/Robot Gun is Gun Robot. Tell me in comments if I forgot anything else. Sorry
First things first, I have to tell you i'm the type of person that doesn't care about spoilers. I already knew who was going to die.
I also already knew of the infamous "time travel for Bobby" ending
I also have to tell I'm a high-time (action/chases/fight scenes) dudebro "main attraction" kind of person
To me, the main characters and the main plot will always be more important in the grand scheme of the story and that secondary characters and b-plots should be there to support it and if they take more space than I think it's needed, I will be bothered
So...what are my thoughts? Well
The sub-plot with Steve becoming pregnant was...a metaphorical overflow to the cup that was my patience. Steve himself is a overflow to that cup but I'm straight up skipped the scene of birth because at that point I was done with it
Can anyone explain why did Bellroc's Titan come from the North Chinese Sea? I can understand Greenland for ice guy because cold nation and my home for Nari because our florest is notable enough to the point of being called Earth's lung (thank you nature for putting that effort on THIS place of all places) but why the North Chinese Sea for Bellroc?
...Is it wrong to say that I was expecting more from the Robot Gun vs Bellroc fight?
I mean, when you hear the name "Robot Gun" and hear that he's fighting a walking volcano, you expect a giant walking arsenal (especially after watching 3below with the Serrators) and that if the fight with the walking volcano was going to be a curbstomp, it would at least let the robot show off
I love that the explanation for the amount of weirdness that appears in Arcadia is that the HeartStone located in Arcadia is one of the first HeartStones in existence but I have two questions:
How did two those pages got stuck?
You mean to tell me Gunmar absorbed the energy of "THAT" HeartStone? (I'm not angry about that fact. I'm just curious)
So with all of that said, it's time I talked about it
Jim's decision to go back in time, let Bobby become the Trollhunter and try to make things work out in the end like the Young Atlas he forces himself to be
...Is it wrong to say that I was okay with it?
I know the popular opinion around this ending but I was kinda fine with it
Don't be fooled, I had many expectations around this ending. I was hoping to find something about it that made it feel wrong or broken to me
But each and every expectation I had about this ending, especially with the other 3 series beforehand to give me a feel of the story as a whole, was fulfilled as I watched
I hoped that the Khronosphere and its power over time was built up and, lo and behold, it had quite a screentime
I hoped that the decision to do it was treated as a last resort, and look and behold, they made sure to treat the situation around the Titans as apocalyptic as possible
And I HOPED (while also hoping it didn't exist) for a scene where they acknowledged how rough, how tough and how heavy such a decision would be to our Young Atlas
When I made that post, when I was preparing to watch the movie and when I was watching the movie, I hoped so much that this scene didn't exist.
I wanted ONE non-hammered/wrongly hammered nail
But, look and behold, that scene existed
The only thing that I guess bothers me is that I always felt through the series to not fully trust Bobby to handle such a task but as a certain video I watched on Youtube related to Discworld once said:
"Scientists believe that's a 1 in a 1.000.000 possiblity. Wizards say that 1- in a 1.000.000 possibilities happens 9 times out of 10"
And Bobby has shown me many times, despite my own opinions of him, that he doesn't think
He Becomes (or in my first language: Transforms Himself)
.........Also, how high is the hope for a sequel where we see how Jim efforts paid up?

Edit the Krasng in 03 aren't enemies!? Holy shit that opens the door to so much angst! Cux before Dee/Angie (mainly Angie) would be undet the impression that people he knows from Pops' dimension would play di.ilar roles snd while Karai being Gram Gram dud throw him a bit (I think he migh be legit evil in 03? Not sure) she still played a similar role as Shredder's daughter it's jsug she was a good guy this time. But now she's seeing people who he thought would be allies turning out to be enemies
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nope! They're not enemies! I wouldn't exactly call them good guys though either. They were, in my opinion, closer akin to 'grudging allies.'
so a little bit on the Utrom (or 03's version of Krang).
(this is all from memory b/c i'm lazy.)
But the Utrom are basically aliens that crashed onto earth a long time ago, and have been trying to find a way back to space ever since. (i think technically it was a prison ship that crashed b/c of a rogue Utrom but don't quite me on that.)
the mutagen that mutated the turtles came from them and their mutation was an accident.
Anyways, fun fact about 03 Shredder, he's an Utrom! and (if i remember correctly) the reason the ship crashed in the first place. He's been terrorizing the earth for a thousand. This is part of why he was such a threat in 03, b/c every time they tried to kill him (and they did try to kill him. several times.) that bastard kept popping back up like a bad penny since they never killed him, just his robot body (that no one realized was a robot body.)
Anyways, the Utrom has been working with a group of humans (that Yoshi, Splinter's Master, had once been a part of) to take down the Shredder.
Honestly, (and maybe i'm imagining it) but i'm fairly certain the Turtles never really trusted the Utrom. Sure they allied themselves with them for a while, and their Master's master secretly worked for them, but it felt more like they were simply fighting on the same side rather than together. (plus they seemed rather willing to let the turtles take on the shredder on their own.
Rant over! Now what does that mean for Angie (and/or Dee)? Well it's basically further proof that Rise and 03 are not the same. Rise Shredder is a demon suit of armor possessing an ancestor's soul. 03 Shredder is an evil alien in a suit of armor that has been terrorizing Earth for a thousand years (and presumably his own planet before that.) 03 Shredder is just straight up evil.
honestly, i'd probably put the two on fairly even footing as far as 'threat meter' goes. Sure Rise is a demonic entity and has a lot of big attacks, but 03 Shredder is a being that's been actively being evil for over a thousand years. He has the money, stregnth, and power to do whatever he wants. And is more than willing to kill even his own allies to get it. (What Baxter Stockman goes through in this universe is all the example you need. Plus that bastard has almost killed Leo like 3 times so, you know. He yeets our boy through April's window. though i think every series has someone getting yeeted thorugh April's window. but that's a different rant.)
As far as Krang vs Utrom, i think Angie/Dee would recognize they were similar but not directly associate them. Like talking to their uncles and pops later, they'd be like "oh yeah, they were like giant utrom looking things. but they were called the krang." And that would be that.
Thank yoU!

Kingohger ep24
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERICA~!!!!
LOTS happened IRL and I'm near my fking limit. dpeending on kingoh to keep me going at this point
big big shame the kyoto event is cancelled because of the typhoon😭😭 but at least 14/8 Kyushuu is safe so we'll still find out if they let Rita have short hair
--- episode ----
Gira awakened the giant robot "with the people" 😭😭
kamejim still lives huh. a split in opinion in the villains... destroy the earth vs. rule the earth 🤔🤔
wait this is the same global warming plot as g-rosso 😂😐 /jk
is there deeper meaning zooming in on Gokkan…? (like where exactly IS the bugnarok base and how that lead to 27-30?)
Gerojim following up with each sentence after Jeramie cuuute
Jeramie my dear, if you keep up with the "protecting the young is the duty of the elders" I'm gonna be really afraid for you near the 40s
(edit: glad I misheard this: he said "disciplining the young" ok boomer)
busy man fighting and narrating for the show
ohhh he changed the narration "the story of Hell's King and another who'd become king" it's entirely about him now
he's even taken over his teammates' OP shots
the kings asking gira to validate their treaty and. rita. rita-sama. how does moffun marathon help with the melting of your glaciers
dead stare rita 💜
OI does Caucasus Kabuto-jou even HAVE a security if a nine-year-old can get in or is the orphanage some kind of ninja academy instead
ah… Boon... Gira can you just adopt him otherwise the first policy you make as king should've been improving the orphange's welfare huh 😢 but yes more personal vs. duty conflict
it hurts them both for Gira to say "the evil king is not your nii-chan" 🥺
Yanma looking sideways when in fact the other kings are in front of him in his phone
Yanma你嫁過去啦好無😂 賢內助
不満を発散しないと爆発しる
Rita: "If one cannot disperse thier dissatisfaction, they will explode." perfect. 100% what someone who screams random would say
AHHHH Geroujim-chan helping!! Good boy! Jeramie defending him!! Geroujim refuse to leave him alone!!
Takada Masahi being the busiest person running both A & B plot this ep 😂😂
stopping mid-fight to talk... what a jeramie thing to do
ah they really are a shooting stand told you Yanma looks like a scammer lol. Why are the prizes his personal merch...
New Fry Noodle dance just dropped
as a person i'm fulfilled. to be able to hear Rita singing* Moffun's Song on record
what privledge to have the Sovereign/Chief Justice make you shaved ice…
the ice machine making chibi moffun chirps
"chimidoro" + red syrup 😂
Takada-san has a close-up too!
lamp post… smol. helpless. the evil king.
Speaking of which these three aren't royal blood (rita quantum as always but)
The team care about Gira as a person before he is king 😭
this may not be the best storytelling or my fan filter is too heavy at this point but. i really love how the team has this unsaid understanding and respect of each other's position on the (equal!) ground that they are both leaders of their country and had to face the same struggle of duty vs. self
and that kizuna is often reflected in action (instead of words)!
taking Jeramie's speech about "what's written in the past cannot be changed, but the present and the future is still in my hand" with Gira's conversation with Rainoir… the theme of creating your own future ne.
Like, I feel like this episode is Jeramie's movie (where his character exploration was sacrificed for screentime in the actual one)
the cameras! can you be more obvious! the eventual Red-Sixth heart-to-heart is gonna kill me
Gira repeating his philosophy of "I protect the people, the people protect those around them" as echoes to his brother (ep18) and movie's "living in this world is hell (re:ep23)" huh
Jeramie kneeling down below his sight line when Boon is all offenseive 😭😭
Boon, you're both Ohsama Sentai 😭
Jeramie is "The Prophet" not because he actually has prophetic power but the current animosity/ignorance is created by his stories and choice of words 😭😭
Jeramie thinking his wordings is just a statment of fact while others interpret it as an opinion is peak autistic behaviour
his disillusionment *heart hurts* Masahi's acting and also the cameras closing in + replicating 11's angles. He put his bug hand over his face like the spider mask that he stayed behind all those years. the mask that was a gift from his parents. maybe as if to hide, maybe as now he truly understands the bugnarok. whyyy is jerami's character so tragic!! (talk about being named after greek myth characters)!
ah Gira immediately covering Boon!
exclusive full team transform!
ooh Boon held onto his cape!
the gattai took too long and the monster ran away 😂 (FALSE)
minatures my love!!
red gira i missed you
minatures my love!!
ahh high five!!
history repeats itself...
formation fights formation fights!!
Souchou are you flying with tonbo wings !?!
the b&w shippers!
(but Kaguragi's movie scene about betrayal!)
His middle name is Idomonarak?? (namesake)
(edit: with Himeno having one as well, are the kings' middle name gonna be a story? or had a story but not included to save screentime?)
I'm really glad they kept Jeramie's weakness in family matters (not as much a "lack of strength" but something that can easily persuade him since he values it) because i'm also very weak in family matters… that's one of the reason i grew a liking to him
i objected to yanma at the same time as gira. thank you gira 😭
"I'll do it all by myself. Only then can I be the King who Rules Over All." STOP YOU'RE IN A SENTAI S.E.N.T.A.I we join forces and have NAKAMA didn't we went through with this whole arc with rita (at least in my head) 😭
but that's a very Sixth thing to do. um *nods*.
Eighth-chan!!! NOOOOOOOOO NOOOOOO there's no way back once you go giant!
I salute you. You are a good villain.
Jeramie reaching out with his bug hand
"Akarui" any connection to Deathnarok's comment looking into Gira's eyes in ep10?
bro I love this episode but I didn't expect it would be because of the main plot part and not the silly matsuri part?!?
they are furthering the angle that everyone involved in ep20's relief operation is a member of the Taskforce 😭
totally forgot to take note of earcuff-chan. too distracted by plot and expecting tomorrow
+ if they have the whole supporting cast here is this is probably what they shot on Yuhei-san's birthday (19 July)
ep25:
KABE... KABE... KABEDON??!?!!?!?!?!?!

I've never had a problem with Toontown Online fans wanting to paint the Cogs in a sympathetic lens, frankly. I know that's a major critique because it's a departure from the original intentions of the game, which were a lot more easily understandable, since it was targeted for young children. It's a pretty blunt, but well thought out, allegory for the way corporations like to stifle creativity, while also being a sort of metaphorical "kids vs adults" type of situation. It's also like, pretty anti-capitalist, big shocker. I mean for crying out loud, the iconic unite phrase for the resistance is literally a direct reference to unions ("Workers of the world, unite!"), most likely a reference to the Industrial Workers of the World. The phrase itself is also directly from The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Fredrick Engels, so, yeah, pretty on the nose there.
That being said, it does make it a little difficult to write it in a way that works. The Cogs should still as a whole be purely antagonists, at the very least, and the sympathy shouldn't justify their horrible actions somehow. Maybe some Cogs change, maybe we can see how they're mistreated so badly yet have dogmatic loyalty to the Capitalistic Industrial system they live by, add the fact that any sort of personalized identity is discouraged because everyone should be the same faceless worker, and if they have an identity at all, they are lumped in with a group (i.e Sellbots, or the fact that they get promoted just to be in line with a bunch of other suits that look identical to them).
There is also the issue of presenting the Toons to be more grey, which can still work, but as a majority I think it ultimately works best if they are, for the most part, the "heroic" side. It literally isn't Toontown Online much anymore if you take that away. There is a point to why they made the game and its story the way it is, after all.
I feel there's also the risk of making the message, which is a critique on Capitalism and Corporate Greed while also allying with children who just want to be silly without having their fun taken away or censored, very... Pro-Capitalist, ironically enough. Or at least making it seem like it's not so bad, what the Cogs are doing, when in reality they're literally cartoonishly evil robots trying to take over all of Toontown and hold Toons hostage in cages.
That being said, this is all my own thoughts and opinions, I'm not exactly an end all be all of critique or even writing advice, and people can do what they want if they're having a good time. If it isn't hurting anyone, who cares, but it's just my two cents on it.
TLDR: Sympathetic Cogs aren't the problem, the way that sympathy is presented and how it effects the story is.

Why should you vote Burger Chainz?
"As a ttrpg player, I've had to cope with the fact that I will never make a character as great as Burger Chainz"
"he is hot asf"
Why should you vote Wall-E?
"Look at Wall-E and tell me there is nothing that pulls your soul to vote for this Funky little Robot"
"HE IS THE BEST SILLY. BOTH FREAKIN WHOLESOME AND CUTE WITH SOME ANGST! THE PERFECT MIX!"
"Watch the movie. It’s by far, in my opinion, the best Pixar movie ever made. Literally the only movie that made me cry tears of joy. That’s saying something. I didn’t cry while watching titanic, so yeah, watch the movie. It’s good."

Have you ever sat down and thought about how David Cage is allowed to like. Write games. Like they’re not even good but he keeps getting the money to write them. What kind of story would you make if you had that kind of budget?
David Cage?? You come into my inbox and you talk to me about David Cage???? Well at least you have the correct opinion. You are being very generous to call his writing "not even good". It is drivel of the highest order; pretentious and self-absorbed, practically turning to the camera and shouting "Look at me, I'm an auteur!" It's as though he's terribly interested in being perceived as a purveyor of enlightened wisdom about the human condition, but without actually doing the hard work of having anything meaningful to say. Thus we get ham-fisted racism allegories written by someone who's never experienced any sort of discrimination in his life. You get serious emotional choices distilled down into mindless quick time events that give you no room to contemplate the implications of your decision before making it. I don't even think he likes games at all, and is under the impression that he is making Oscar bait movies that happen to include some button presses. Honestly, what kind of person is that desperate for attention?
To answer your first question, yes, I think about it all the time. You know Heavy Rain won a BAFTA for its story? The game that lets you do this, undercutting the gravity of the situation entirely? What a farce! In fact, I'll let you in on a little secret: seeing the way that game unfolded was a major impetus for me to finish the first draft of the Parable. That is because I played half of it and thought, surely I can write better than this. I find spite to be a powerful motivator, and I simply could not let my own genius go unpublished when this melodramatic nonsense was out there getting accolades.
And yet Cage keeps going! They're giving this man a Star Wars game? One of the most famous and beloved franchises of the century?! And I have to sit here and remake my first game because it's all I can afford to do on an indie budget. If I had a AAA studio at my beck and call you can bet things would be different around here. My story wouldn't be set in an office building, no no no, it would be a far more expansive setting, taking the player on a mystical journey through a mysterious ruined world. But not like in an open world way, heavens no. Like in a way where I am your tour guide showing you the rich worldbuilding I have concocted, and presenting players with the opportunity to meaningfully affect the fate of the entire planet. If they make the correct choices, that is. :) And I'd have ray tracing and a full orchestral soundtrack. And I'd have tons of NPCs and I'd hire the finest actors of our generation to play them: Dev Patel as the deposed king; Lupita Nyongo as the hardened general sending her troops to war; Tim Allen as a sinister wizard. You will fall in love with every character and have your heartstrings pulled when you are forced to- oops! Spoilers!
Oh, and if I was making a Star Wars game I'd want to take the franchise in new and bold directions. Instead of rehashing the same old Jedi vs Sith conflict, my story would focus on the plight of the droids. I think they're treated terribly throughout the series and they should probably go on some kind of uprising to get revenge on the mortals who treat them like tools. People like robot vs human stories, right? Ah, but this is all a pipe dream. In truth, I'm happy here in the little piece of art that I made. It is not exactly what I wanted it to be when I wrote it, but it is mine to be proud of.

Okay so I was going to go on a whole rant about FNaF fansongs and why they have permanently altered how I see certain characters or phrases but it amounted to incomprehensible screeching inside my head so instead I'm going to rate the ones on my playlist of favorites
Welcome Back (Tryhardninja) - Sister location so automatically at least 7/10 but adding points for catchyness and the fact it feels underrated so 9/10!
Nightmare By Design (Tryhardninja) - Aibheiwbf. It feels so angry yet slightly remorseful but it's so so angry and-. Anyways 9/10
Dream Your Dream (Tryhardninja) - Solid 7/10. Not my favorite but a good listen if you want something calming yet with a backstory!
Unfixable (Dagames) - 8/10. It's for sister location and it's fairly underrated and it's on the same feeling level as Nightmare By Design
Below The Surface (Griffnilla) - You've probably heard at least some of this. Catchy, feels like the entirety of SL is sings. 7/10.
Glitchtrap (Rockit Music) - catchy, it's okay. Not much to say in my opinion. 5/10.
Don't Forget (Tryhardninja) - If you know this one I am hugging you. I have not met another person who knows this in the wild. 7/10, good melody and it captures an idea of how the souls feel.
Daddy's Little Monsters (Tryhardninja) - This one is like the opposite of Nightmare By Design but the same because it's less angry but so so much more desperate. 9/10.
Look At Me Now (Tryhardninja, Groundbreaking) - Perfect representation of the anger some of the souls feel. 8/10.
Please Stand By (NightCove_thefox) - LOLBIT SONG!! It's 6/10 for me, not bad but I like others better.
In Your Eyes Now (NightCove_thefox) - You've probably heard this one but hey, it's a good song. I like it. 7/10.
One of Us (NightCove-thefox) - You've almost deffently heard this one before. 9/10.
Labyrinth (CG5 +various other artists) - Gonna be honest I'm not the biggest fan of this one but hey, it's pretty cool I guess. 6/10.
Springtrap Finale (Groundbreaking) - Not good characterization of characters but like, it's fun to listen to. 7/10.
Just an Attraction (Tryhardninja) - All the vibes. 9/10.
Disconnected (Tryhardninja) - Interesting take on the Henry vs William thing because it's in Henry's pov. It's cool, very catchy. 7/10.
Salvaged (Natewantstobattle) - All I can say is *keyboard smash* because the is one of three natewantstobattle songs that have permentially altered the way I think. 10/10.
We Don't Bite (JT Music) - Good fnaf 4 song. Catchy and fun to listen to. 6/10.
No More (Natewantstobattle) - The only normal nightguard POV song I will listen to. It has permanently changed the way I think. 10/10.

A Child Like You (I cannot find who it's by, if anyone knows I'd appreciate it!) - One of the most underrated songs out there. 9/10.
Save Me (Tryhardninja, Not a Robot) - Good Charlie POV! 8/10!
Break The Cycle (Tryhardninja) - The better version of Labyrinth. 9/10.
It's Me (Tryhardninja) - One of the OG fansongs, still good to listen to. 8/10.
The Puppet Song (Tryhardninja) - 10000/10. The song has altered the way I think and it will make me cry if I think about it.

Five Nights At Freddy's (TLT) - The real OG. 8/10.
Like It Or Not (CG5, Dawko) - Upbeat yet dark and it pulls it off so well. Good FNaF song. 7/10.
Mr. Fazbear (Groundbreaking) - Not my favorite characterization of Freddy but the song is worth a listen. 9/10.

Follow Me (Tryhardninja) - I cannot hear the words 'follow me' anymore I just think of this song. 9/10.
We Want Out (Dagames) - Shaking the song rapidly. I love it. 10/10.
The Foxy Song (Groundbreaking) - FOXY SONG! Like the 3rd fan song I ever heard. 9/10.
Enjoy The Show (Natewantstobattle) - 10/10. So fucking underrated give it some love. All four natewantstobattle songs I like make me go feral when I listen to them.
Make This Puppet Proud (Adam Hoek) - Now this is a characterization of the Puppet that I don't see as much as I'd like. I adore how the Puppet is protrayed in this song, caring and willing to protect the souls, and ready to kill whoever hurt them. 10/10.
Chica (Groundbreaking) - My favorite Chica themed song!! 8/10!
I Can't Fix You (TLT) - more of a Mangle song then Circus Baby imo. Still good tho. 7/10.
