Headcanon: Giving Felix the Silent Treatment Would Be Like...

At first, Felix wouldn't notice you giving him the silent treatment. When you stopped coming to see him in the training hall and pestering him to eat with you, Felix was relieved. He enjoyed his time alone and sometimes found your constant presence annoying. The lack of communication was a breath of fresh air for Felix.

After a few days, the feeling of freedom he had turned to dread. As much as he enjoyed his alone time, he enjoyed your company more. Sure, he felt annoyed when you interrupted his training, but he knew it was because you were looking out for him. You just wanted to make sure he was eating and resting. Making sure he was healthy was one way you showed him you cared.

At first, he figured you were just busy and would return to your usual routine soon. He would wait a couple more days before trying to seek you out.

Whenever he found you, you would leave and go somewhere else. Felix would keep trying, but you would always manage to evade him. Any time you actually did speak to him, it was all business. You acted like the two of you were nothing more than acquaintances. Felix knew something was wrong. Even if you were busy, you would always make time for him, and you would never ignore or avoid him.

Felix knew if he wanted to talk to you, he would have to corner you. He needed to understand why you were avoiding him and what he did to upset you. However, the more Felix tried to talk to you, the more upset he became.

After several failed attempts to corner you, Felix decided he would avoid you too. After noticing no change in your behavior, he realized his plan to get you to come to him wasn't going to work. Felix decided he needed to change his tactics. If you weren't going to let him come to you, and you weren't going to come to him, he was going to do something that he really didn't want to do.

Felix found himself sitting down to have dinner with Sylvain. He begrudgingly decided his best course of action would be to ask for help in order to fix his relationship with you. Sylvain might have been a little too happy to help, teasing Felix mercilessly about going to his for relationship advice.

The plan that the duo came up with was that Sylvain was to set up a meeting with you. He decided asking you to have lunch with him to discuss something important would be the best way to get you to agree. When you showed up to the meeting, you would see Felix and not Sylvain.

You could tell that Felix meant business, so you sat down across from him instead of leaving. Felix was planning on having lunch with you and began serving you food. He only said something once both of you had food in front of you. The first thing he wanted to know was what he had done wrong. He was willing to do anything to fix your relationship. After a long conversation, you agreed to work on your communication skills to avoid such situations again.

In the future, the two of you will communicate better. You would tell him when you needed more attention, and Felix would tell you when he needed more space. Your relationship would become even stronger. Felix enjoyed his time with you even more after not having you around for a while.

Summary: The Blue Lions react to you catching a bouquet at a friend’s wedding

༓Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd He watched you catch it without blinking or flinching, mainly just confused as the realization slowly took over your face as you finally met Dimitri’s gaze. There was something about how the flowers looked in your hands and the look that you gave him that made Dimitri feel so flustered. So pretty, is his single thought as Dimitri’s made his way to you, feet on autopilot.

༓Dedue Molinaro Dedue’s eyes were completely on you, holding the colorful flowers that all mean a term of love in language as everyone else is looking between you and him. He doesn’t flare up in a blush or appear startled but you can see Dedue is feeling embarrassedly flustered by the awkward stiffness of his movement as the tall man makes his way to you.

༓Felix Hugo Fraldarius Felix does not want to be here with unimportant people, if anything he wants to be comfortably at home with you. But he will admit that the other wedding is pretty. Felix wonders if you’ve ever thought about marriage, but any further thought of the subject changes when you catch the flowers that nearly smacked you in the face. The image of what you would look like holding yours flashed quickly in his thoughts as for once Felix quietly watched you.

༓Ashe Ubert A blush marked his freckled face with a happy smile but a shy expression at the teasing that Ashe knows his friends and siblings will give him as you walked over to him. Subconsciously Ashe reached out his hand for you to take, gently pulling you closer to his side as Ashe studied the flowers. The bouquet was pretty but it wasn’t your favorite, he thought to himself. The following thought is how beautiful you would look, holding your favorite flowers while neither Ashe nor you let go of each other’s hands because it felt like two missing puzzle pieces found a place to fit perfectly together.

༓Sylvain Jose Gautier Immediately starts to sweat nervously as the flowers are perfectly in your hand while his hand subconsciously touches his pocket where the ring is that he’s planning to ask your hand for later. He had been carrying it, not having a day or place in mind until right now. This is a sign, he thinks as you lock eyes with him and smile which he returns.

༓Mercedes von Martritz She was standing right beside you when you had caught the flowers, she leaned over to sniffle the flowers with a smile growing on her face as she looked up at you, pulling away from you but not before kissing your cheek. She giggled quietly at your reaction to the flowers and the kisses. She is going to tease you but this will bring up the thought of marriage and the future with her.

༓Annette Fantine Dominic Instantly a crimson blush blooms on her face as endless giggles of excited bundles of nerves, reaching how to touch one of the flowers’ petals. Annette went quiet, wondering what flowers she would pick for her wedding, she subconsciously looked at you. She isn’t going to say anything immediately today or tomorrow but there will be hints of marriage, hoping that you’ll catch on and talk about it with her.

༓Ingrid Brandl Galatea She never really thought deeply about marriage, it was just something that her father wanted for her. But when Ingrid saw your reaction to catching the bouquet to look for her and finally smiling when you found Ingrid, she wondered for a fleeting thought if you would smile like that at the altar. She can’t explain why it made her face blush although Ingrid didn’t hate that idea at all because without question she knows that Ingrid would say yes if you asked her.

though there is one thing that starts to show that he's in love with you: he tries to keep you away from sylvain!

felix worries that you might end up falling for sylvain and tries to avoid you and the red head running into each other

of course, this only intrigues sylvain as he starts to notice it, suggesting that felix might be crushing on you and keeping you away from him for that reason

though when felix denies that he has feelings for you, sylvain starts to assume you're the one who's in love with him, which only piques his interest

sylvain continues his usual flirting with you, often taking you on dates as well, while felix attempts to have more time with you than sylvain, without actually having to call it a date or admit to his feelings

felix also likes to play dirty, telling you small lies like "sylvain won't be joining us today" so he'll have you to himself or he'll cover your eyes when sylvain is does something impress during training, to prevent you from seeing it

Cypress - How does this yandere comfort their upset darling?

Before considering this question as it applies to a darker version of Felix, I am of the opinion that while he is an incredibly caring and loving individual, he isn’t an empathic person. He's not going to necessarily read or understand your emotions the way you might hope. That’s not to say he wouldn’t want to listen to your problems, understand why things bother you, and comfort you when you’re in need, just that he doesn’t naturally connect in that way and it would be really easy to suffer miscommunications as a result. He favors action over emotion, changing what can be directly controlled rather than ruminating on the intangible. If you have a problem, there must be a solution.

This gets very messy very quickly in a toxic relationship where it’s in his best interest to remain blind to your feelings even when confronted with them. I think the most likely reason to be upset in a situation like this would be because you’re in love with an aggressively obsessive man who’s endlessly paranoid about losing you. And Felix is self aware, he knows full well what he’s doing by keeping you in a controlling, domineering relationship. The obvious lie he tells himself is that his actions, destructive as they might be emotionally, are necessary. Prioritizing action over emotion. Your feelings cannot be controlled (you would be just as likely to be unhappy without him than with, right?), but your physical safety and well being can be managed. By him. Only him. So, if you were to express that you’re upset with your relationship or his behavior, it would be treated very coldly and negatively—possibly combatively. The worst case scenario for how he would “comfort” you is a full on fight where he meticulously points out why he’s right to be so possessive, that you can’t survive without him, and how weak and childish you seem. For what it’s worth, I do think this would always be followed by a period of genuine remorse where he tries to make you forget everything and prove his love and adoration. Notably, Felix would never out and out try to justify himself to you. His excuses are all his own, he knows that they’re paper thin, but he also doesn’t feel like he should have to explain them to you. He will apologize when he goes too far, but not for the underlying reason you’re actually upset.

More often, he’ll probably try and find another cause for your unhappiness, something that can be fixed or at least something more manageable. If necessary, he’ll try his best to fix your problems materially. You know, the type to beat a man half to death because he made you cry and then caress your face with bloodied hands, telling you that he took care of it (nevermind what “it” is). Despite everything, Felix is still a caring and loving person. He doesn’t have you entrapped in a disastrously unhealthy relationship for nothing. He does listen and as long as you’re not upset about anything sensitive, he definitely cares and is willing to hear you out, hold you while you cry, and do things to distract you. Felix trying to comfort you would be cute on the side of clueless, especially when it comes to gifts. "I'm sorry you're unhappy, here is a new sword." As much as he can, Felix wants a normal, healthy, loving relationship.

Peony - How shameless is this yandere? Do they care about their public image and or private image, and how does that affect how they treat their darling?

Felix knows that there's, generally, a way he should act as Duke Fraldarius and he follows that. Public displays of affection would be very uncomfortable for him anyway. Physically, I can't see Felix doing anything more scandalous than putting a hand on your back or holding your hand/arm. Verbally, there's definitely less impropriety. He is a snarky bastard. If somebody is flirting with you (although, let's be honest, flirting can mean somebody even looking at you the wrong way) he'll loudly point it out even if it means embarrassing you. If he feels you're wandering too much, he'll demand you come stand by him, or order you around like a child. Or a dog. It's not about humiliating you or even for his own pleasure, from his standpoint it's necessary. There are few people more vulnerable than the loved ones of important political figures, if you're not acting with proper care, he'll exert his control over you to ensure your safety. It's all perfectly reasonable and has nothing to do with jealousy. If it happens to make him feel a little flash of satisfaction at how easily you obey him, that's incidental.

Hydrangea - How would this yandere react if their darling gave them affection? What is their internal thought process like?

It begins with Felix freaking out at the unfamiliar discomfort of being vulnerable to somebody. Stiff, uneasy, uncertain of himself. It wouldn’t really take long for him to get hooked on affection. Hugs, hand holding, and cheek kisses—the holy trinity of weakness for an emotionally and physically repressed tsundere with trauma relating to neglect. Obviously Felix tries to play it cool, acting like it doesn’t melt him whenever you bury your face in his chest or entwine your fingers with his, but internally he’s trying to commit every detail of it to memory just in case. He grumbles when you throw yourself at him for a hug, but he’ll squeeze you so tight you can’t breathe. Sure he won’t look you in the eye when he tells you how much you mean to him, but when you say it back, the love he feels for you is overwhelming, even suffocating. That’s why he’s doing all of this in the first place. Unlike many other yanderes, there is no artifice to Felix’s interactions with affection, even as the relationship degrades into something very twisted. He never uses it or interprets it as anything less or more than it is. He doesn’t even use it against you in arguments, or hold it over your head when you say that you’re unhappy. Your affection is sacred to him.

Magnolia - Would there ever be any time that the yandere would reflect on their actions and wonder if they should stop/change their ways? Or do they always believe themselves to be in the right?

Felix constantly reflects on his behavior, but he buries that pretty deep. Since his main justification for keeping you as a glorified prisoner is your safety, and that you could not possibly be safe in any other circumstance, it would be pretty hypocritical for him to let you go. It’s not that he thinks he’s right, although he does for the most part, it’s that Felix is an absolutist for the ends justifying the means when it comes to your safety. It’s not like his perspective is without merit. Even if you were to leave him, you already have a target painted on your back and could be used by any of his political enemies. You are, genuinely, in too deep to just leave him. Worse, if you died because of that, it would be his fault. But then, all of that justification is meaningless compared to the very fundamental driving force of his actions: Felix can not and will not consider a world without you in it. He’s a traumatized, vulnerable man who has lived for so long simply trying to be recognized as his own person and when you say his name, he feels seen. When he lays his head on your chest and hears your heart beating, feels the warmth of your skin, listens to the sound of your voice, he feels a profound sense of purpose that’s utterly unlike his loyalty to the crown or dedication to becoming stronger. No matter how terrible things can be, his need for that feeling, for you, is too devastating to reconsider the path he’s taken.

General Yandere Headcanons: Felix Hugo Fraldarius

How you meet

Getting Felix to notice you would probably be a little more difficult than the other students of the Blue Lion house.

Your best shot is either being able to hold your own against him in a fight, or be willing to put in the time and effort to try and befriend him.

Which...isn't easy.

Felix isn't exactly what one would call a social butterfly. There are times where he'll be outright hostile, even.

Asking him to spar is a good way to bond with him. Just be ready for him to be brutally honest in his criticism of your technique.

Honestly, one of the easier yanderes to avoid. You would have to be the one to make an effort to get close to him in the beginning.

So as long as you decide not to pay him any mind, Felix does the same.

Unfortunately for you, however, getting rid of him is a completely different story.

How they fall for you

It starts as a slow burn.

For a more friendly, outgoing darling that tries to befriend him, he starts to notice how....annoyed he is by things.

Annoyed by the way you constantly show up. Invading his space. Annoyed by how you always seem to come back, no matter how many times he pushes you away.

Annoyed by how, for some unholy reason, you actually seem to WANT to spend time with him.

Annoyed by that stupid smile that makes you look so cute.

Annoyed by how kind you are.

That moment of hesitation before you start laughing at some dumb joke one of your classmates told? You guessed it. Annoying

Unconsciously, Felix starts to seek you out the same way you seek him out.

It's only then that he discovers something that truly starts to get on his nerves.

It's not just Felix. No, he realizes that when he sees you with your friends, talking and laughing the same way you do with him.

Felix realizes that he's not on your mind the same way you seem to plague his.

That you don't lay awake at night like he does, unable to sleep because all he can think about is you.

Because this is just how you are.

Felix didn't know that your kindness could hurt as much as it does.

How they lose their grip

During your time at the monastery, Felix is able to hold himself back. He has morals, after all.

That's not to say they aren't questionable.

Besides, getting him to actually admit to his feelings for you, let alone confess on his own volition? Nigh impossible. You'd have better luck trying to get Edelgard to stop the war by asking her nicely.

As the year draws closer to it's end, you start to notice him becoming more...agressive in battle. Not to the point Dimitri has become, though.

And speaking of Fhirdiad's crown prince, that certainly doesn't help with Felix's mental state. If anything, he just starts to become fiercely protective of you.

It starts small. He'll make snide remarks about your friends once in a while. Start insulting your prowess when you spar.

He'll rarely ever leave your side in battle, either.

Eventually, Felix's presence in your life starts to become suffocating. Not only do you have the stress of war looming over everyone's heads, but you now have to deal with him turning to an overbearing presence in your life.

Don't try to avoid him. It'll make things worse.

You start to feel like somebody is watching you. Be it in class, in the dining room, anywhere.

There was one night you woke up in a cold sweat because you could have sworn you heard somebody in your room.

And should you mention it to Felix?

He'll just scoff. Tell you your nerves are getting the better of you. That you're just imagining things.

You start to wonder if you're safer on the battlefield than you are in the monastery.

What makes them snap

It's not the monastery falling to the empire that breaks Felix.

It's not the way that you leave without even saying goodbye.

It's not the five years that pass by without being able to find even a trace of you amidst all of the fighting.

Felix had finally let you go. He had seen what obsessing over ghosts of the past did to people. The boar prince was a perfect example.

And yet...you're alive. You return to the monastery with the rest of your classmates.

It will take a few months, but Felix will finally decide to tell you how he feels. It's going to be blunt, it's going to be awkward, and it's going to be unavoidable.

Should you reciprocate his affections, Felix is almost...normal? Almost. He still gets jealous easily and is rather possessive of you, but he won't chain you to a wall or lock you in a cage.

And he's still mad at you for not attempting to reach out to him for the past five years. But he tries his best to understand. After all, there IS a currently ongoing war.

But if you avoid him, or reject his feelings?

Oh boy.

He goes right back to the way he was before the war, yet somehow even worse. Felix will start telling you outright that you're unfit to even be on the battlefield. That you should just stay at the monastery where it's safe.

It would make him feel horrible, but he's also not above...disposing of rivals. Felix wouldn't want to outright kill people, but threats? He's just protecting you. That person must have had bad intentions. Really, Felix thinks you should be thanking him.

And should you feel the same way about them?

How tragic. It seems your loved one perished on the front lines.

Deep down, Felix knows what he did was wrong. But over time, he's able to convince himself that it's better for you this way.

They were weak. They couldn't protect you like he can. They could never love you the same way he does, twisted as it may be.

There are two things that would make Felix well and truly snap.

Rejecting his affections over and over again...

...or working as a soldier for the enemy side.

Good luck getting out of this one.

Felix won't let you leave him. He won't ever let you go again. He'll drag you back to Faerghus with his own two hands if he has to.

With Rodrigue's death, his family is gone.

And Felix would rather become just as much of a monster as the boar than let you leave him.

After all, weren't you the one who tried so hard to claw your way into his life?

Hi could I request headcanons for Felix Ignatz and Ashe being shy around female reader? If that's ok of course.

Felix:

Out of all the boys, Felix is the one who handles his feelings the worst. He doesn’t even know what happened; last week, he’d had no problem mouthing off as the two of you sparred, his tongue as sharp as the edge of his sword. A flick of his wrist and your own blade had gone flying across the arena, embedding itself in a bay of hale near the wall— as you fought to free your sword from its new prison, you’d pouted at your opponent, and Felix’s next words died in his throat.

Since then, he’s had trouble approaching you in any fashion, and he doesn’t know what changed. Used to, the pair of you were constantly bickering, taking clear relish in your verbal sparring sessions as much as your physical ones. Other students would look between each other with obvious worry painted on their faces as Felix made some comment about your parentage— but when you followed with an uppercut to his ego, it was apparent you were comfortable. Now, though, when you sit next to him in the dining hall, Felix doesn’t say a word; your shoulders brush against his and he finds himself curling inwards. It pisses him off.

Of course you noticed. Even if you didn’t know what was going on, it was clear that Felix was struggling with something; he’d never been the type to share his feelings, but damn if you weren’t going to make him talk somehow. But it seems like Felix is avoiding you— whenever you enter the training hall, he’s quick to sheathe his sword and shut his mouth. When your eyes meet his in class, his face turns red— or maybe it’s just a trick of the candlelight. You’ll get him to talk eventually.

Ignatz:

Ignatz is already fairly shy; he’s used to having to hide aspects of himself, always fearing what other people might think if he strays too far from his projected self-image. It had taken a lot of work to get him to open up to you, and now that he’s comfortable enough to involve you with his art, you don’t want to shatter that fragile balance.

One night, he’d dragged you to an oft-ignored balcony, where he’d already set up his canvas and paints on the stone. He was a bit too nervous to outright ask if you’d pose for a painting, but you knew him well enough to take the hint, quickly sitting yourself on the low stone wall and turning to stare out over the courtyard. And it was there in the moonlight that Ignatz realized he was suddenly really nervous.

The painting will never be finished if he can’t bring himself to look at you, he knows that much. But Ignatz’s hands are trembling too much now, and he barely gets through a basic sketch within the first hour you’re up there. He sighs out an apology, setting his supplies down and averting his gaze; you just smile, one that has his heart slamming against his ribcage, and agree to come back whenever he’s feeling better. For the next few days, Ignatz observes you from afar, hoping to maybe memorize enough of you that he can finish the portrait by himself— but even that doesn’t work, because you’re always catching him staring, and your smile blinds him.

Ashe:

Ashe is already fairly open with his emotions; from the moment you’d met, he turned into a squeaky-voiced bundle of nerves whenever you managed to rope him into a conversation. His face would turn a shade of red that completely drowned his freckles, and suddenly he found his shoes the most interesting thing on earth. It was probably one of the cutest things you’d ever seen.

He’s very easy to tease, especially because he’s eager to prove himself. You’re surrounded by strong men of varying titles and royal bloodlines— if he wants your attention, he’s going to have to fight for it. Of course, that’s easier said than done; the moment he realizes you’re watching him, he completely falls apart. When you’re paired for kitchen duties, his usually-steady hands are shaking so much that he drops everything; even with his beloved bow and arrow, if you’re around, he can’t hit the broad side of a barn.

It’s too cute. He’s too cute. Whenever you get the chance, you find yourself practically hanging off him in ways that you probably shouldn’t, draping yourself over his shoulders until you’re worried he’ll combust. He still makes valiant efforts to fumble through a sentence or two, but the fact that you’re so close— the fact that you might like him the way he likes you— it’s too much. You know it’s bad when Dimitri tells you to knock it off.

pairing: felix hugo fraldarius x fem!reader

tags: fake dating, intentional ooc for you & felix

felix and you were supposed to get engaged and no matter how much you two complained to your parents about it, they simply wouldn't call off the arranged marriage

so, the two of you came up with an idea to change the minds of your parents

you decided to pretend to be a couple, but behave as horribly as you could around each others parents

surely your parents wouldn't allow you to marry a guy who was just babbling on about how much he enjoyed killing and that this was the only reason he joined the officers academy

and felix parents surely didn't want their son to get engaged to a girl who was constantly throwing a tantrum when others didn't do what she wanted

it really didn't take long for your parents to sit the two of you down separately and have a talk

turns out they had changed their minds and decided that perhaps they should wait a couple more years before you get engaged to anyone

both you and felix were relieved when you heard that of course!

though you couldn't deny that it had been fun to pretend to be with felix

even if you were just pretending to be a couple, the laughs you had together when you told each other about the things you had done to scare off your parents were real

and you realized that this was probably the first and only time you had ever seen felix laugh or smile

even if you had been against marrying him, you were wondering if maybe there was still a chance to keep him in your life

~Off the cuff, I'll posit that Claude would be one of those mysteriously reappearing public figure types. Like "wow, doesn't he bear a striking resemblance to this Elizabethan mystery gentleman who somehow had a huge political platform?" He's been politicians, military leaders, scholars, maybe even the spare actor or other, less serious lives to keep things interesting.

~He spends all the time between resurfacing keeping up with the current world events and planning who he's going to be next. No rest for the wicked.

~He tries to hide his vampirism about as well as he hides his heritage. That is to say, he never says anything damning, but also talks about the past in the first person. If he gets called on this he just falls back on being a history nerd and winks.

~He wouldn't really take a huge amount of pleasure in the blood drinking specifically but I also have a hard time believing there wouldn't be a line up of freaks who would very willingly let him give the 'ole succ for the sake of a good time which would be quite pleasurable so, yeah.

~Whatever moral hangups someone might have with being a vampire would be pretty insignificant considering the good he can do in the world, although he would have his moments of trying to reconcile it and failing ESPECIALLY when people he cares about die or leave. Claude would probably try to numb himself to that.

~His biggest hang up would be his inability to go out in the sun.
