blade shows his love with his actions, i know he can't communicate that well with you, thinks its even luck finally on his side that you got with him, that you liked him back. that you loved him? just.. wow. you know? anyways, i just see him being the type to pull you in a little closer when his arm is around your waist, and you say something he agrees with! he's very touch starved, but that doesn't mean he can't be the one initiating the cuddles and shit!!!

just prefers dates at home, likes it when it's only the both of you that see each other in that moment. just likes it better yk?

other people don't need or have to know about or what you two do on little dates (kafka bothers him about you in a positive way)

dan heng just that guy to be always giving his time to you. as much as he can, he'll bring you wherever he goes. as long as you want to too, but he always hopes that you do want too, because he isn't always gonna be on his phone to call or text you. so he thought it'd be easier to just bring you with him. and he'd put his life on the line just to protect you, so basically thinks you'll be fine travelling with him. but even if you don't wanna, he doesn't mind just waiting on the astral express with you and himeko..

he'd fill jars of little strips of paper of just compliments he's used on you before, or even square-ish paper filled with little doodles of you, or the both of you

kind of clingy, in a good way though! just attaches himself to you and stuff when you don't pay attention to him, he doesn't communicate too well so bare with him!!

tingyun spends time with you, and sometimes even brings you along when she has work! besides yukong doesn't mind~ and of course, this wouldn't be a tingyun post of mine without me saying she would tease, and would love when you get flustered from her silly words!!!! and would love physical touch ngl?!?! like falls in love all over again when you cuddle her, now you get to see her red!

just always gets so flushed in the face whenever you both share a bed, specially when your relationship first started, and being a few months in, you both are stuck in a clichè romantical trope of sharing a bed, yeah she was joking about it in the start but-- she never thought it'd actually.. happen!!

AAAA SERVAL!!! she's so sweetheart real!! i just know she has her own skincare routine and would so do it on you too. she likes spending time with you as her way of saying i love you!! 24/7 sleep back hugs when you cook or bake!! she's an avid lover of skin-to-skin contact i promise! physical touch is another way she tries to kiss your scars better for you<33

i just know she holds both your hands when you both kiss, whether it'd be on your temple, your nose, your cheeks, or your lips, she always ends up holding both your palms or her hand on your cheek <33

waaa my sweetie pie, a personal headcannon i really see in serval (or in the landau siblings), i like to think that they can barely cook. so i guess in their criteria for an s/o would be them knowing how to cook (even if its just barely too though because woah matching!!)

Reader discovers that Yandere! Mika killed someone for them but forgives him

Okay so I think in one of the yandere tarot posts I mentioned that Mika wouldn´t kill any of his darling´s loved ones because he doesn´t want them to be sad even if he personally would prefer for all these other people to disappear so he doesn´t have to be so jealous all of the time, and I still stand by that

He´s obviously beneath them so how could he ever dare to sadden his precious darling? More than anything, he wants you to be happy, to be happy with him and so he tries to hold back even though it´s hard for him to stand by and watch as your attention shifts from him to your other so-called friends

But don´t get me wrong, that doesn´t mean that Mika wouldn´t kill anyone. I feel like he´s one of the few yanderes that is actually capable of just straight up murdering someone for his darling without so much as blinking an eye. It´s pretty scary how willing he is to get his hands dirty if only he thinks that it might improve his darling´s life

Friends and family might be off-limits but surely the same doesn´t apply to rude random strangers or even worse, straight up bullies? Seeing someone bother you like that and making you uncomfortable is enough to make Mika´s blood boil. How dare they. How could they. It takes all of his willpower to not just jump at them and wildly punch and beat them down without abandon

No, he has to stay calm for the moment, you´re still there with him after all. He can´t let you see him when he´s doing something so barbaric, someone as nice as you would surely be frightened if you saw him all blood-stained like that! You might start to think that Mika is a bad and scary person and he wants anything but that to happen!

He just adores you so so much, that he almost can´t take it and this is his way of repaying you for all of the joy and love you made him feel. Getting rid of the people that put you down is the least he can do for you!

And so Mika is all too willing to follow his victim into an alleyway until they are all alone before confronting them. There isn´t a lot of talking going on actually, he pretty much straight up jumps into action

All that poor person will get as an explanation is a scream of “I´ll make ya pay fer what ya did to my precious darling! No one is allowed to push ´em around like that!”

Right afterwards he charges at the stranger that accidentally bumped into you at the coffee shop you two visited earlier and hits the back of their head with the large shovel he brought with him

He does it over and over until they completely stop twitching and the ground and both of their clothes are covered in blood. Anger consumes Mika as he keeps thinking about the fact that they hadn´t even the decency to apologize after committing such a heinous crime. It almost makes him sad that the punishment went over so quickly but there just wasn´t any time to waste. He was supposed to meet up with you again later so he really couldn´t afford to be late!

So as quick as he can, Mika picks up the body and starts dragging it through the small alleyway. He has to get rid of the body somehow, take a shower and change his clothes so he can be right on time. He doesn´t think he could live with himself if he ended up making you wait for him. No, he can´t let that happen!

He just needs to get rid of this annoying body fast and then he can finally be with you again! Oh how he misses you already even though it´s only been a few hours since you last saw each other! He just can´t help but hum a happy little tune, now in a good mood at the prospect of getting to see you soon, as he drags the mangled corpse across the dirty ground

There should be a field somewhere close by where he can bury the body...

He's about halfway done with digging the hole when suddenly an all too familiar voice calls out for him

"Mika are you there? We were supposed to meet 30 minutes ago and you're usually never late so I went looking around a bit to see if I could find you. Is everything okay?"

In any other situation, Mika would have been overjoyed to hear your voice and even more so when you show concern for his well-being like this because obviously that must mean you care about him! But no, not this time

He was in the process of burying the dead body of the person he had killed himself and you caught him red-handed. The one person he didn't want to know about this

He unconsciously shifts around a bit in an attempt to hide the body behind him from view but he's not doing a very good job at being inconspicuous when there very clearly is a gaping hole in the ground and he's holding a bloody shovel in hand. There's blood on his shirt as well!

You can tell he's very shifty and nervous, he's trembling all over. He's not scared because he fears that he's going to get reported to the police, he's scared that you might grow to fear or resent him now that you knew what violent actions he was capable of

He didn't want that! He wants you to look at him with a smile on your face, not fear! You're such a good and upstanding person, you must be disgusted by him! You would never want to date a murderer, it's all over for him! He can never be close to you again nor dream of ever becoming your boyfriend

What is Mika even supposed to do with himself now that you, his one light in life, are now gone, forever unreachable? What purpose does life still hold for him? Nothing! He's nothing without you!

"Wait is that-holy shit is that a dead body??"

There it is. You saw. Mika can't even look you in the eye, he doesn't want to see the horror on your face, too ashamed of himself that you had to see this

"Wait, I can explain! Ya know, y/n! This pest-this person, they were so rude to ya! ! They ran into ya without apologizing and I was so angry, how dare they??! So I followed them and I hit 'em' cause I was so angry and I wanted to protect ye! I couldn't let them get away with hurting ya! I'm so so sorry ya had to see this whole mess though, a gentle person like ya is way too good for scary stuff like this.. "

Now any normal person would have been terrified and disgusted, shocked at the revelation that someone they had thought of as a close friend turned out to be a murderer. No one would have blamed you if you screamed your lungs out and ran for your life

But for whatever reason, that's not what you did. Maybe it was out of pity for Mika, who was quietly sobbing now as he anticipated that you were going to abandon him now. Maybe you felt responsible, after all it was because of you that this innocent person was killed, and you didn't want to run away from that fact, wanted to face it head on

Or maybe, a quiet voice told you, maybe you actually held some form of adoration for Mika as well. Maybe you were just being selfish, didn't want to let go of him and the future you may have imagined with him

After a prolonged amount of silence, you reach out your arm and Mika closes his eyes, flinching as if he was expecting you to hit him in anger. You were not that kind of person and yet in this kind of situation he couldn't blame you. If it meant that he could at least relieve you of a few of these boiling emotions, than he was more than prepared to take any kind of punishment from you

But the touch of your hand that made contact with his cheek was not harsh, it was slow and hesitant and yet gentle all the same. Mika wondered if it was improper of him to hope that you might have it in your heart to forgive him as you stroked his cheek, not caring that the blood that clung to him now also smeared the back of your hand, as if the dark red served as a sign of the corruption that was forming it's hold on your mind

Unconsciously, Mika leaned into your touch, all too eager to lap up any kind of affection you were willing to give. He almost pouts when you pull away and he hopes his eyes just in time to see with widened eyes that you had picked up the shovel he had dropped in shock when you called out to him earlier

Your grip was shaky but firm all the same and there was a scary glint of determination in your eyes that Mika couldn't help but be drawn to

"We'll have to be quick", is what you finally say after what seemed to be an eternity of silence after his own outburst

"Y/n what do you-"

"People might walk around the corner any moment now. We'll have to be quick with burying the body if we don't want to get caught. Anyone would be able to connect the dots if they saw your dreadful bloody clothes and the dead body laying on the ground. Come on, you don't want to get arrested, do you? "

Then it all went by very quick. You lifted up the shovel and started to continue digging the hole Mika had started, your movements hectic and fast as he stood to the side, still dazed from what had just happened

You.. didn't run away screaming? And now you were helping him with hiding the body? Does this mean that there is still hope? At least he'll take you not wanting him to go to jail as a positive sign

When the thought finally settles that this might not be the end, Mika springs back into motion and takes the shovel out of your hands, declaring that you shouldn't dirty yourself any more than you already have. He'll take care of everything from now on

Whether you know it or not, you've just opened up the floodgates. All this time, Mika has held back because he thought you might hate him but now that he knows that you have it in you to even forgive him for committing murder in your name, he doesn't think that he'll stop anytime soon

He'll try to not make any repeats of tonight because he doesn't want to burden you any more but not that he has your "approval" he wants to keep being useful to you and get rid of all the unworthy pests that make your life miserable

You've shown him that there are still more ways in which he can showcase his love and dedication to you

Yes, maybe that very night the last piece of his sanity broke away. But it's okay as long as he can serve you as your precious and loyal doll

i do feel like i had bad luck today because i didnt see her this morning

i expected to see her this morning ... i saw her yesterday morning walking the same route , it surprised me and i ended up looking in an awkward direction as we passed by eachother ( it always seems like we're passing by eachother and never walking the same direction ? ) im wondering if it was because im too early ..... yesterday i was early and i saw her though , so maybe she was the late one . yesterday i had come to the conclusion that i was going to have a good day because i saw her , and i did !! this girl in my first period asked to use some lotion and when i gave her mine she said things like " so this is why you smell so good every day " and " now i get to smell like ___ for the day " it made me really happy ! maybe thats really nothing to other people but i dont really talk to anyone at school so after that interaction i considered the day to be good . but today i didnt see her and ... my water botrle spilled everywhere . not jusf everywhere but a little backstory ; i was running late so i didnt properly check the cap to my water bottle before i out it in my backpack ( 70oz , i walk 50k steps everyday so i drink a lot of water aswell ) and it ended up spilling in first period . it didnt just spill a little bit . my 70oz water bottle went from basically full to only reaching 8oz . it was so embarassing !!! im a very quiet person so everybodys attention was on me !!!!!!!! we had to get a custodian and the girl at my table is so nice she took me to gef the custodian and made lighthearted conversation i think i wouldve freaked out a lot more if she hadnt spoken to me . qfter 1st period i went to the bathroom to cut , but as i thought my blade was too dull , so much bad luck ...... i think ill talk abt my complex towards blades and especially stealing them in another post . anyways i have some eyebrow razors coming in and those are sposed to be one - swipe - to - fat - layer so im excited . well not so much excited moreso curious ?

after the cutting thing didn't work i decided that when i get home i was gonna take a shot of vodka , sake or whiskey . whatever my parents have laying around . ive actually never had alcohol or drugs or vape or anything before , id consider myself somewhat of a sheltered kid honestly . generally i think today j was very overstimulated , i guess it was just too ' different ' from what im used to . but get this !! i saw her both at lunch and in the halls after i was skipping ( an assembly ) !! in fact i saw her twice during the latter because we both turned around and went to opposite way , making us pass by eachother again . i was ' following ' her , not in like a stalker way but i was pacing around already and she was technically going the direction of my classroom so .. but yeah she turned around ? while i was walking to my last class i didnt even see her ?! im hoping i was too early or something , i think the days where i dont see her im just too early because i think ? she comes down the stairs . ive been worrying that she might be avoiding me ..? i came to the conclusion that she doesnt really think about me to the volume i think about her but i do notice that the other day she seemed to be looking at me before i even saw her so maybe shes on alert ? which is horrible for me because yesterday she looked even nicer than usual in her cute sweater and i only got to get a .1 second glance from my peripheral . she often at least gives me a glance when i look at her which makes it kinda hard to get a proper look , im starving .... ive been trying to find her instagram but im unsure if she even has one . when i got home i took a good look at the alcohol cabinet but i decided against drinking anything ( im actually annoyed by how quickly my emotions change because by 3rd period i started feeling better out of nowhere .... which is good but i wanted to take a shot of whiskey )

in total i ended up seeing her about 3 times , record timelapse of about 30 minutes !!!

i went outside and the stars are really beautiful today , too

Can the Gay art bugs also help Myla?

while she definitely Could join hallownests coolest new art club/therapy group, i dont really think that her problems being solved by becoming some kind of an artist would fit her character… arc? i guess??

see, i picked the ‘quirrel gets dragged to sheo’s and becomes a landscape painter’ route for several reasons (tw for suicide mention/discussion btw!!):

the first one being, obviously, the nailsmith - a character that has a lot of similarities with quirrel when you think about it. he also helps you on your quest throughout your big adventure– he upgrades your weapon til he forges the pure nail and so, after doing the thing that he was meant to do, wants to end his life. if we take the ‘quirrel kills himself after the blue lake scene’ theory into consideration here, you can definitely see the similarities in their… approach to fullfilling their ‘life purposes’. and imo thats exactly the kinda thing that both of these guys could bond over if quirrel is given the same opportunity to recover from this kinda mentality. if the nailsmith lived through this, then so can quirrel

the second one is related to the thing that people like to point out a lot - quirrels nail, how he always iterates the vital importance of having one, and how he symbolically abandons it by the end of his journey. this is where sheo comes in! sheo is basically a bug whose whole life used to revolve around the nail… until it didnt; he was able to find a new calling in life by abandoning his old one. ‘abandoning’ is a strong word though, cause he definitely held on to most of his knowledge and mastery of the nail, repurposed it. after all, “the wielding of a nail, the wielding of a brush… these things are not so different”. maybe quirrel could learn this lesson, too

the last one is that i just think that becoming a traveling landscape artist just… fits him?? quirrel LOVES exploring and sightseeing, so why couldnt he become passionate about trying to capture the many wonders of hallownest (and possibly other lands)? preserving those awe-inspiring places, recording those moments of discovery on a canvas. to archive them, if you will.

i hope they dont mind the tag (i’ll delete it if u do), but @wingmould added some really nice tags on my original post about the idea, and, Yeah. i wholeheartedly agree

now to myla. first and foremost, i gotta say that im one of the people desperately clinging to the hope that if you dont touch her and then get rid of the infection, she gets cured and lives happily ever after. that being said, i know that some of yall accidentally (or purposefully, out of mercy) kill her. so! heres what i got for our sweet miner girl in vals ‘theyre FINE shut up’ au:

in my understanding, the main cause of myla succumbing to the plague are two things feeding into eachother: her obsession and her loneliness.

(presumably) like many explorers before her, myla came to hallownest with a specific goal in mind - to get wealthy. and them mysterious, powerful crystals near the mines sure do look like a jackpot, dont they? especially when they start singing about ‘something even more valuable hidden deeper in’. that’s the reason she comes down there, the reason why she stays AND the reason why the radiance is able to invade her mind so easily. but i think that if she just had someone that could stop that obsession from consuming her, she could get saved??

like, sure, little ghost might pop in now and then to listen to her singing, but i dont think theyre really able to tell her ‘myla for the love of god stop overworking yourself and go outside’. and, from what we know, she doesnt have any friends/acquances besides the knight who could do that, either. “This is hard work, but I don’t mind. Down here, I can k-keep working without even sleeping. It’s fun!” see what i mean????? shes been down there for god knows how long, sleep deprived, probably starved, and alone, and NOBODY tells her that, hey, maybe she should, like, take care of herself? please??

so my idea is that someone actually does that and saves her. im thinking maybe sly? or cornifer?? cornifer deffo would be a better candidate since, in-canon, he could find myla while doing some exploring. and then he could take her to dirtmouth at some point, to, yknow, get some fresh air and maybe a cup of bug tea or whatever. and, after speaking with iselda, she Possibly could get hired as the new map shop keeper? since iselda is interested in going on an adventure with corny. it would be a way for myla to earn some geo and not risk her life while doing that. plus she could make some friends in dirtmouth! that way she’d be surrounded by people that wouldnt let her reach that rock bottom again, yknow?

Endeavor and his 2nd wife assist to Shoto's first year graduation, and his classmates discover that Endeavor did change.

no warning

AU where Endeavor and (Y/N) started dating when Shoto was around 7/8. Shoto refused to use his fire side like in the manga, but his relationship with his dad was much less chaotic.

''Is your dad coming, Shoto ?'' Izuku asked, and the boy nodded. ''Yes.'' Denki raised an eyebrow. ''And your mom ?'' Shoto turned to look at him. ''No, she can't go out of the hospital. My step-mom is coming, though.'' Half of the students who had heard him made that 'uhhh ?' sound. ''You have a step mom ?'' The boy nodded. ''Yeah, and they have 2 children together. They’re lucky my dad treats them well.''

Other questions were asked, but Shoto walked away when Izuku was ready to go, to follow him. Indeed, Endeavor was now number one hero ; how could they haven't heard about him having a new wife and children ? Anyway, they were all getting ready for the first years' graduating ceremony.

(Y/N) and Enji arrived with a son, he was actually 6, and a daughter, who was 2. (Y/N) looked younger than the man, she was maybe around her mid-30s'. The two kids immediately ran to Shoto when they noticed him walking towards them. He decided to pick his sister up, while his brother was grabbing his leg.

At the view, Izuku, Tenya and Ochaco walked to them. They bowed in front of their friend's father and step-mother. ''Midoriya, right ?'' Endeavor asked -he had only met him. That surprised the main addressee that the number one hero recognized him. ''Y-yes, sir !'' Tenya and Ochaco introduced themselves. Shoto gave the little girl back to her mom. ''Where's my son ?'' (Y/N) asked.

''He walked to see my classmates.'' Shoto answered, pointing to the Bakusquad. ''(S/N) ! Leave people you don't know alone.'' Endeavor said, and that made the boy wave at Mina before walking back to his dad.

While Shoto's brother seemed really attached to him, the little girl was still too young to leave her parents' side. Especially Endeavor was with her, most of the time, since he only had one daughter before her.

The students were now standing on a podium, waiting for their first year diploma. It was a short ceremony since they were just passing from a class to another. When they came back with the diplomas, (Y/N) decided to take a picture of Shoto. ''It's for your mom ! I don't think your dad would've thought of that.'' Yeah, maybe Endeavor was trying to be a good dad now, but he wasn't doing any effort towards his ex-wife.

Shoto's friends ended up posing for the picture with him, while Endeavor was at the ice cream truck for his two youngest children. Rei had understood the situation, and wasn't even mad that her ex-husband had a new family. That's why (Y/N) liked her -even though she didn't want to visit her at the hospital, thinking it would be weird and a bit disrespectful.

After that, Shoto's siblings were back with ice creams. ''Do you want to taste mine ? It's chocolate !'' (S/N) asked him. ''No, thanks. Keep it for yourself.'' He smiled, and the little boy nodded, eating his ice cream. ''Dada !'' (D/N) said, ice cream in her hands. ''I'm not carrying you, you have legs.'' Endeavor immediately answered, knowing what the girl wanted. She pouted, but Shoto put some ice cream on her nose, to create a distraction.

''Can you carry me ?'' (Y/N) asked. Endeavor pushed her gently, snorting. ''No way ! (D/N)'s gonna wonder why I said no to her but yes to you.'' Looking at the scene, Shoto's classmates were speechless. Endeavor smiling ? Endeavor taking care of his children and caring about his girlfriend ? What made them lose their minds was when the man put an hand on Shoto's shoulder and said : ''And I'm proud of you, son. Keep going like this. I'll be offering you an internship each year.''

Some weeks after, when Shoto and his classmates were in their second year, he invited them over to study -which was a first time, since he had never invited anyone before. Suddenly, (Y/N) interrupted them. ''Have you seen your dad ?'' Shoto shook his head no. ''Oh my God, he disappears like that, not telling anyone. Have you seen my son ? (S/N) !'' Shoto smiled a bit. ''They're surely together. They were already gone when I was back home.''

The woman put her daughter on the ground, who went playing somewhere. ''Can I have some news ? I'm living in this house, and I don't know about anything !'' Shoto was looking at her, and he noticed the bags she had with her. ''What's with all the bags ?'' He asked. ''Your siblings are coming over for dinner. I would've told your friends to stay, but I don't think we won't have much food for them. Natsuo eats for 3 people.'' Shoto snorted. ''True.'' Izuku rubbed the back of his head. After the student were done studying, Izuku asked his friend questions about his siblings, to write about them in his notebook as well. ''But they're not heroes, you know ? And (S/N)'s one will maybe evolve.'' Izuku didn't care, though. ''Since your brother looks exactly like your dad, I guess he has his quirk ?'' Shoto nodded. ''My sister doesn't have his blue eyes, though. We don't think she's going to have his quirk.''

Indeed, (S/N) had ginger/red hair and blue eyes, with the same face features as his dad -except maybe for his mouth, that looked much more like (Y/N)'s- and (D/N) had her mom's eyes -color and shape- and her mom's hair color. However, her face also looked like her dad's, so she was a recognizable Todoroki.

They got interrupted by Endeavor himself. ''Oh, your friends are over ? Do you want them to eat with us ?'' However, Shoto didn't have time to answer his dad. ''ENJI ! WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH FOOD FOR THEM CAUSE ALL YOUR SONS EAT LIKE THEY'VE BEEN STARVING FOR WEEKS !'' The sudden yell made him jump. ''Uh ?! One of those is your son as well !'' He said, raising an eyebrow.

''I know ! But both your daughters are eating properly, so I can tell it comes from YOU !'' Endeavor sighed, telling the students goodbye and going to the kitchen to take care of his youngest children while (Y/N) was cooking. Shoto's classmates went back home when Fuyumi and Natsuo arrived. Fuyumi helped (Y/N) putting the plates and stuff on the table, while Natsuo played video games with (S/N).

Shoto smiled at the sight ; even if his dad had been a horrible person to him, he was glad that he had changed and redeemed himself with his youngest siblings.

once again, it was kinda in shoto's pov, but i couldn't find any other way to write about endeavor's family and I really wanted to write something abt good dad endeavor djsjsk

Hello! I was wondering if you tell me what's wrong with arcana? From what I've seen it's just a generic mobile game? You don't have to answer if you don't want to of course, and I hope you have a good day!

Well my biggest issue with it is probably uuh how it’s monetized? It’s insanely expensive just to get all the locked scenes in one route. The devs have been complete and total assholes about it when people complained, as well.

The rest of my opinions on it is based on what the game was when I played it, and it’s been what, years? I haven’t checked up on anything and stayed away from the fandom because big yikes.

The game itself is like ... uncomfortably horny? I get that it’s a romance game but the devs seem to take all those typical tumblr thirst posts and make them canon even though it’s really fucking jarring in the story? Plus it’s not exactly stated to be 18+, or at least wasn’t when I first played it, so all the extremely sensual art was kind of off-putting. It felt like fanservice in a really cheap way?

Nadia is heavily fetishized because everyone in the fandom kept asking her to “step on them” and the devs leaned into that and, ya know, she’s a WoC, so that kind of characterization of a domineering yet “““exotic”““ brown woman is uuuh ... mmmbad? She even apparently says shit about wanting to keep the MC as a pet and I seem to recall there being an option for her to literally step on them?

Then we have Asra who’s supposedly nonbinary but we don’t really know that unless you check sources outside of the game, which isn’t really representation? Like, at all? Most other nonbinary characters have been grotesque villains or incidental characters.

And finally there’s Julian? The white guy who everyone stans cuz he’s a white guy and he’s into BDSM. Somehow the weird fetishy/sexualized shit is toned down for this woobiefied white dude. The devs admitted he’s based on Jeff Goldblum but, you guessed it, inexplicably white! He’s (Julian) supposed to be vaguely Jewish but it’s kind of for flavor only and the devs don’t seem keen on confirming it.

Julian and Asra also have a super fetishized relationship like the devs are very clearly into some fujoshi bullshit.

Then there’s Muriel. I never played long enough for his route to appear but he’s a MoC who’s constantly in chains becuase he was a slave at some point? And yeah those chains never seem to come off even when he’s freed because the devs are too lazy to update the sprite? Idk at this point I’m willing to believe it turns them on or something.

Also the writing itself is just bad lmao. So is the game design, locking all actual romance scenes behind massive paywalls and then telling people they don’t “have to” buy them, that those scenes aren’t “essential” and people who can’t afford the game but still want to see the ROMANCE scenes in a ROMANCE game are entitled whiny bitches and those poor poor devs are starving so you HAVE TO pay!!!

I have some issues with this post and the blog in general but it’s got some good points abt the game and its devs if you’re interested in knowing more.

On a personal note: I was really excited for Lucio’s route back in the day because I’m a basic bitch but they really wanged that one too, from what I hear. Why can’t anybody write a good villainmance? I swom to Jon.

Okay I reblogged that post with not much of an idea about what I’d actually have to say but imperfect life is at least at the forefront of my mind lol

First things first I’d had an idea for a fic about Hodgson At Mutineer Camp that i wanted to write floating around my head for a while that was. I suppose centred on the sheer Betrayal of GIBSON YOU CHANGED MY SHEETS FOR THREE YEARS? WHAT THE FUCK? And as I did more research abt both of them and found that they’d been on ships together & that it was likely that either Hodgson or Peglar got Gibson his job? Fuckin wrote itself, especially seeing as in show-canon Bridgens is the Peglar Papers Steward.

Anyway I’ve said this before to everyone who’ll listen but I will say it again: I think Hodgson is misinterpreted & underappreciated by a lot of the fandom & it makes me SAD and also ANGRY.

Like: I once saw someone say that he was “mad about Jopson’s promotion, so fuck that guy”? NO. He MISSED Jopson’s promotion! He would have gotten a KICK out of Jopson’s promotion! You BASTARDS! Hickey picks on him SPECIFICALLY because he’s out of the loop! I’ll kill you!

Then there’s the “Who is this?” being taken as some kind of a-okay for cannibalism instead of a guy who saw someone shot dead just last night and then spent the morning burying said dead'un being literally scared out of his mind by a greasy lil rat with a knife and Tozer blocking the tent flap with a fuckign RIFLE. DAMN YOU ALL.

Do I think he’s a complete FOOL? YES. Do I think he ever had any kind of malicious intent? NO. Okay anyway I’m gonna talk a bit more abt that later so let me go back to the next part lmao

So Part 2 of the George Henry Hodgson Saga was then to figure out why he had to go stay with his aunts - this ALSO came pretty straight to me, for whatever reason. I think it might have started off as just his parents pleasure jaunt, but as I was thinking about later scenes with Jimmy Fitzjas I came up with a thing abt - Im not gonna find the reference now but in the battersby book there’s a bit abt William Coningham going to take the waters at bath or whatever for Weak Lungs which OBVIOUSLY made me think of my favourite comsumptive Of All Time Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin & the countryside retreats he & his sister Emilia took for their symptoms as teenagers (and unforch Emilia died of tuberculosis aged just 14… rip)

ANYWAY I had some VAGUE idea that George n Fitz could have some kind of Passing Discussion abt Brothers With Shite Lungs that obviously never came to fruition but. Lol whatever, it gave me a reason for why My Parents Sent Me To Stay With Two Aunts.

UH. Right, so then like the third leg for this to stand on was that Fitzjames and Hodgson had ALSO served together & Fitzjames had: 1. recommended Hodgson to the expedition 2: mentioned him TWICE in his Voyage of the Cornwallis 3. Mentioned him in his letters to the Coninghams from disko bay (one of the only Terrors mentioned - there’s a passage abt Fitzjames going to look at the icebergs with Fairholme and Hodgson. ANYWAY; show-canon Hodgson has a sense of humour and I really think he tried to make the men see him as approachable, at least compared to the other Terror officers and that reminds me a lot of how the historical Fitzjames seemed from mystery man! Seeing as they KNew each other I think it’s not unfair to suggest that he’s trying to emulate an older and more successful officer! He wants to succeed! He wants to have fun and to be loved by The Men!

My friend said something very Prescient abt this to me recently which was that THere are a lot of similarities between Hodgson & Fitzjames and it’s kinda like. Fitzjames is the Ideal, and Hodgson just misses the mark. He’s the average man’s James Fitzjames and because he doesn’t know about Fitzjames’ surplus of political luck that only makes him feel more of a failure. Fitzjames gets a bullet that gets him compared to Lord Nelson, Hodgson gets in the gazette as ‘slightly wounded’. Even their monologues! Fitzjames gives a soul-baring confessional he’s never talked about before to someone he respects and he gets! Affirmation! Gets told that he’s a good man and brave and loved! Hodgson gives a soul-baring confessional he’s never talked about before to someone he respects and gets! FUCK ALL! A MAN SITS IN SILENCE! He has to fucking! Walk out alone after all of that! FUCK!!!

Okay so this whole fic just sat in my brain for probably like six months until I literally sat up in bed because I worked out the last piece of the puzzle

Which was, of course, 'Hodgson went to boarding school’ - which is what all of this ends up hanging off of! Boarding school culture! The younger years are servants for the upper years, who in turn are responsible for the younger students! including discipline etc so like… if a younger year brought something up to their “fag-master” it’d be sorted by them and maybe prefects, without getting schoolmasters etc involved.

WHICH is why George doesn’t tell the captains about what happens to Neptune, because he’s out here trying to be a good fag master and get it sorted himself! His own fag master fucked him over by getting the schoolmasters involved when they oughtn’t have been! He’s not about to be Archibald Harrington-Thurlowe! He’s not okaying the mutiny! He’s trying to minimise the damage *on his own* like a fuckin idiot!

I had some difficulty with the religious angle for a while because. hm. okay. To start with the religious angle IN-CANON is just.... not correct. Catholics don't let you drink the blood. The church of england DOES... and that's what most of these men ARE. The Papist Speech as a whole was cobbled together from one of Crozier's ~Visions~ in the book - and it's important in that case that Crozier is IRISH... Poor analogy, writers! Putting aside that he was also... SEVEN... maybe he was an unusually tall seven-year old, people assumed he'd had first communion/been baptised & no one wanted to cause a fuss... I mean the guy has lead poisoning so it's fair to mis-remember but... YEAH. Messy, which is a shame because it's a powerful monologue very well-delivered, shame it's complete fucking nonsense 😂 (not to be like... SMH Americans but... smh Americans...)

Anyway, as I wrote it? that’s me. I wasn’t raised religious - my dad’s an old-school small-town Continental Catholic, my mum’s agnostic but raised CofE (but *her* dad was raised Jewish (also continental) during WW2), I think they couldn’t be fucked with the drama, I never went to church or anything and as a kid when we had prayers at school assembly I didn’t know what I was doing!!!! I felt bad because I couldn’t fathom God as a concept!!! I still can’t! But as a kid it’s like. I don’t understand and on account of that I’m afraid I’m going to Hell. tfw you write what you know.

ALSO there were definitely a couple of times where I wrote G H Hodgson as played by B W Wooster and I will not be taking constructive criticism on that.

ANYWAY My brain has kindof turned itself off now but I guess this is just. My own personal backstory to this jhsgfjhs. I actually probably have about 400x more to say but it’s fully evaporated. thank you SO MUCH for asking me though. i die.

turtul au: soulmate edition (Leo)

Where everyone has their own distinct way of meeting their soulmates

at first Leo was confused as to why there were words written on his arm

“MY CHURROS”

he thought maybe it was one of his brothers pranking him again

writing on his arm with a sharpie

his first guess was mikey

it was always mikey

but unlike before when leo went to confront mikey he denied it

which was unmikey-like

so he asked raph

“dude, i could think of a million better pranks than sharpie”

“why would i even write that? what the heck are churros?”

donnie was an unlikely suspect

so leo just tried to wash it off

‘tried’

no matter what he tried it wouldn’t work

not water, no soap, he even tried detergent and dish washing soap

but the words just wouldn’t come off

so he just let it be

thinking that it would come off on its own

he really couldnt be bothered, it’s just marker right?

but it stayed on him for a long time

until april asked him about it

and he had to tell how it wouldn’t come off no matter what he did

april and casey looked at each other

“OMG I KNOW WHAT IT IS”

apperently the turtles didn’t have any idea how soulmates work

“It’s the first words your soulmate is going to say to you!”

“what?”

“usually people just get ‘hey’ or ‘watch where you’re going’ which is completely cliche”

but he was right

if this was his soulmate’s first words to him

he didn’t even know what churros were until then

and his brothers would make fun of him

talking to him when he’d look at the words or just when he was meditating

until one night you get out of your apartment and towards a 24-hour convenience store

because you were starving

and you thought maybe something bad would happen on your first meeting

like bumping into each other

no one likes their first meeting with their soulmate to be bad right?

you probably looked like a mess because it was 11 in the evening

and you were hungry and didn’t care if the cashier would look at you weird for buying cold churros in the middle of the night

but walking on the way home

bcs the trees looked like humans who had hands

Oh man, I'm just imagining that there's so many close brushes with kiribaku almost realizing or almost being in positions to find out that the other is a vigilante-- an injury and no way to get into contact with Jack or Mina-- a rainstorm washing Kiri's dye away on the job. I think it'd be especially funny if he thought for a minute that Kiri was bleeding but then Kiri is like "UH GOTTA GO ITS NOT BLOOD" and he realizes it's red hair dye

Oh Kirishima sort of already suspects it’s Bakugou - more or less? He’s in the process of starting to suspect it, at least lol for being someone who really doesn’t want to be found out Bakugou’s more carefree in his disguise than Kirishima is (his hair is a pretty obvious giveaway, for example, thought Bakugou relies a lot on the ‘attacking and running’ strategy, so in his mind all he gotta do is just not be seen by anyone at all lol) compared to Kiri he gets bruised and beaten up way more too (Kiri’s hardening makes it easy for him to avoid that in general) - Kiri’s noticing Bakugou’s bruises and his vigilante friend’s bruises match up a whole damn lot, so he’s starting to figure that one out

Bakugou’s a dumbass tho (read: he doesn’t really look at people he isn’t particularly interested in) so for him it’s gonna take a while haha

They’re best friends, and sometimes when your best friend is going through a real rough heartbreak and he’s in literal tears over it, you might be nice enough to offer your back for him to hide his face in and let him pretend he isn’t currently breaking down on you. Sometimes, you like a person in a platonic way enough to emotionally support them as best as you can when they’re at their lowest. It. Sort of happens between best friends, now and again. You don’t really need to want in someone’s pants to care about them.

They live together cause they started working together as vigilantes when they were in high school, and once they moved up to college they found it a good idea to have someone back home who knew about what they were doing to treat eventual wounds, since they can’t go to the hospital! Also the rent is cheaper this way

Ah, in the vigilantes AU he’d probably think it’s for the best even if he’d hurt a lot over it, but in canon and most other AUs I like to think he’d try to fix it somehow? Unless he has other reasons to not act on his feelings for Kirishima… gosh this is a vague question, there are so many possibilities really!

When he’s not doing vigilantes work it’s actually hidden by the hair, so Bakugou never noticed! But if he were to notice he’d probably mark it down as a Kiri thing and leave it at that, as I said he’s not the most observant when he’s not particularly interested in someone so he hasn’t really registered it on Red’s face anyway haha

Housekeeping notes before the read more, this is going to be a headcanon post that goes into child exploitation, abuse in both adults and children, slavery, narcissism, and will likely include more than a few segments on sexual exploitation as a theme.

If you wanted to use any information in this post, please plot with me first. Hohenheim does not talk about this, and it is very rare for him to open up about any of this.

While most general catagories of abusive behaviour and descriptions will probably be present, I want to make it clear that if you're thinking about reading this and you're not 100% sure if you're ready, then maybe don't lol. I'm going to attempt to describe the mentality behind the acts, which I personally can find more disturbing than the acts themselves.

It takes a lot to normalize this kind of behaviour, and lack empathy to other living beings, especially other humans. This sort of thing does happen in real life and to real people. While Xerxes is a fictional place, the attitudes I am describing are very much based in reality and things that people have done and will continue to do.

Slavery in Xerxes comes from the idea that people must have some sort of function or that they are useless. Even free Xerxeans are encouraged to produce value, though it can be art, farming, food, science, maths, or other thoughts. They don't care much as long as the individual has a task they devote themselves to.

Children are routinely given up to be slaves for currency, especially when no one wants to take care of the child. Depending on how old the child is, they usually go into manual labor or jobs that require high level cognitive function rather than personal servitude as they are stronger and more equipped mentally to do tasks correctly. This also means that they have higher rates of buying themselves out of the system and becoming free again.

In some cases this ends up not being called slavery but enforced apprenticeship, but tbh it's still slavery. Just because it isn't rights systematically stripped from birth doesn't mean it isn't still awful. You'll still get whipped and starved. You're just probably gunna resent it more.

Unsurprisingly, a lot of people who would be uncomfortable with slavery are a lot more okay with sending their unwanted children to be apprenticed. Some people might even claim that because it isn't true slavery, it's fine and doesn't contribute to the problem (if they see it as a problem at all.)

It also means that those who have freed then are more likely to replace their masters and perpetuate the cycle. When Hohenheim proved himself as valuable to his master, he switched slave classes from chattel to servent which... Might not seem gr8 from an outside perspective, but until Van proved himself a component alchimest he stayed on this class.

Xerxes is affluent in the sense that it is comfortable and produces enough exess for the population to turn to leisurely activities. The demand the slaves fill are cheap labor and cheap sex, and as the population itself is providing the labor, most slaves that are bred are bred for the later.

Xerxes is home to extreme views, which includes a strong xenophobia. They understand the value of trade, Xerxes is also the oasis in the middle of the desert making it a part of the trade routes. However, they have an incredible ability to think of groups of people as 'other' than them, they do think of themselves as 'the master race' or the peak of humanity.

...They're really fucking inbred.

They are really into the idea that even their 'impure slaves' are better than the rest of the world and would rather have a slave that looks like them, especially one they're trying to get horny with, than someone who looks like a stranger.

It is a choice that is made deliberately and repeatedly to raise slave children for a singular task. The parents of these children are very rarely born slaves, and are usually people who were given to slavery young enough that they don't really know how to get a better life, but too old to manipulate into behaving how Xerxes likes them to.

Hohenheim's parents are odd in particular bc his father was privately owned and had a name not bc he was free at one point but because his family before him had a debt with the people who owned him. You know, making him something between a pet and a slave which-- by the way is also a thing that happens. Hohenheim vaguely knows about this, but his family line doesn't intrest him much, because Xerxes records are so fucked that if he wanted to track down the story he would literally have to go through business transactions rather than names of people and that kinda freaks him out tho he doesn't like to admit it.

His mother is something he doesn't like to think about because she very much was a sex slave and it makes him really sad to think about, even more than his dad does lol. Both his parents died in their 30s and though he as a child never thought this, it is the reason he projects 'middle aged' onto his 13/15 year-old self even tho he's. You know. 450.

He only found out about these records after Xerxes fell but between them and the people who actually knew his parents who live inside of him now... He gets strange when he thinks abt it. He has trouble conceptualizing the idea that people are okay with abusing other people despite having gone through the abuse and also having half of-- well you know.

Unlike Hoho who fundamentally believes that all living things have value, Xerxes common attitude is one of narcissism and disdain. Homeless? Hurt? Sick? Well have you tried not sucking? Have you tried improving yourself? Have you tried not being weak? It is more important for Xerxeans to protect the idea of Xerxes than it is to protect each other.

This isn't a headcanon either, in the manga there is literally a panel where Hoho is like >:/ gosh I hate the fact that rebel slaves are rebelling against Xerxes! Like Ho, baby, 1st of all that's the king killing his people, and 2nd you were literally a slave my dude you should know how much it sucks ok. But go off I guess. I get it Hoho, I used to be mormon we have bad takes as brainwashed kids.

It also means that both slaves and citizens are taught that there is value in loving the state, if you work within the system you will have your needs met, if you do not then you will be fed to the system. Xerxes is a cycle of canablism, even before the dwarf did his thing.

Xerxes becoming literally cannibalized into pure energy is literally what they have been doing to their own people since they became homogenous. I'd say they didn't deserve it, but yeah. They did.

Hohenheim has trouble thinking of it in these terms, the people in Xerxes don't think of themselves as evil, they don't think what they did was bad. Owning a slave wasn't a crime after all, it doesn't count if the child you hurt wasn't going to live long anyways. No one would actually Hurt a child that was Worth Something after all.

Wouldn't it be better for them to use slaves so that the Population would never have to be hurt by dark urges?

Even if they do grow up, then they'll be entertainment and decorations. It's not like a slave would ever be worth anything more than the money you pay for him.

Some Xerxeans are externally pissed about Hohenheim being alive.

A system cannot work unless people around to it consent and participate it. In my opinion, the fact that the opinion Hohenheim expresses in canon to the idea of a revolution is anger, says more than anything else. Once a society actively resists change that would result in more people experiencing happiness, that society is corrupt.

Like the Roman Empire collapsing under its own weight, Xerxes was doomed to extinction.

im like 80% unhappy w my entire plot outline for ask-andante but ive sunk so much of myself into it that i cant stop now---

ill never reboot a blog. i wouldn't just up and delete 3 years worth of posts and myself learning because im now unhappy the more i learn abt storytelling

id have to start over again anyways and build up everything again, and tbh, i dont even have that kind of time.

im hoping the blog i do after will be better paced, better planned out, and have more substance in the content

and ill be the damn first to gripe on my blog and its content

mini spoilers, most of which will be brought up in canon sometime this week or the next anyways

As much as I wouldn’t rewrite my entire story, nor would I reboot the blog, I’d fucking loooove to retcon specific posts. I’ve gone back and actually edited a few but I still don’t appreciate the way they portrayed characters.

ask-andante’s biggest short-coming is where i decided to start the story (an unfortunate result of planning on just having a comedy blog that id abandon in a week). it’s much later in his life and all the learning and excitement and character development andante’s gone through is already over. i understand this to be a major reason for why the side characters tend to be much more interesting than him, as they’re growing and learning, and are willing to learn. andante’s personality type is kind of hard to play as a main character.

i also know celtia’s sudden turn to be honest is still really.. sudden. it kind of comes from no where when you read it. i really really want to address this w him before i close his arc, so it can at least be explained. i think i might be able to find an opening for it in an ask soon.

andante would especially do better if he had someone to play off of, someone he likes to interact with... but unfortunately w the way ive set everything up, if he did have someone like that on the blog (as in a character of mine and not someone else’s), things would go much differently and i dont feel like rewriting everything.

i could potentially find a way to insert a character like this, but id have to write them out and develop them, along w backstories, motivation, goals, future, and even just a reason to be friends w Andante. Celtia’s reasonings make more sense. He wasn’t aware of what Andante was like, and w him using Aroma Therapy, never got to see that his dangerous side was serious because he would diffuse situations before they could escalate. Save for the DJ post, and attacking him. He did mention he was going to leave if it happened again, I suppose. But that’s who Celtia is, he’s starved for attention and approval, the whole reason he disguised his looks was because he wanted to be perfect and attractive, he wanted that approval from people. He figured Andante was just some edge lord who would come around, and he was so desperate to have that.

A lot of Celtia’s older posts are too edgy and I’d love to rewrite those so he was less like Andante abt the whole thing---to put it one way. It was understandable he was having panic attacks, and was extremely defensive abt his Perfect Presentation being destroyed after he had won friendships and approval from askers. But I just really don’t like the way he comes off in them. I wish he looked more frightened, rather than angry. I also wish I hadn’t supported the fuckin ship so much, i went back and deleted a lot of the boyfriendy tags, but admittedly there was a bit of pressure from the community. Nothing direct, i cant pin this blame on any one person and i never will as it was my fault, but i noticed how many more notes the andanstilbe posts got and how many people liked the ship that i kept forcing it, hoping to receive that approval myself

Back again to a character for Andante to play off of--w his next few major arcs, it’s even harder to get a character in that balances out Andante while also positively interacting w him. Andante’s goals aren’t good goals, and he’ll go through any length of sacrificing others for them, and getting a level headed, down to earth, or positive/upbeat character not to try and stop Andante would be difficult without coming up w some strange reason why they don’t. If anyone tried to stop Andante, he’d kill them as they’d be “betraying” him... you can see why writing Andante’s interactions can be fuckin difficult, because of the way he is from recent events (which will have a portion of an arc dedicated to those events), he is much too quick to cut ties and literally kill people because he’s afraid of betrayal/heartbreak.

Overall, I worry for the content of the blog to be just another boring gore fest or whatever, with no real character development or world development tied into it. Actually, it’s literally just one arc that I’m worried for because of this, but I don’t want this arc to ruin a lot of the “story” I have set up.

I also don’t like how everyone is all talk, and there’s nothing actually going on. I get that it’s because Celtia’s arc is going on rn, and his is just getting into his past before he’s gone... which, it can’be helped too much that it’s all talk since it’s going back into the past and all... but that’s what this whole blog has been.

i guess i could pull a 2yr anni, and instead of just regular flash backs and all talk, we actually go back to those eras and have them as semi interactable. I really need to take into consideration the format i am using to tell this story, the fact it’s an ask blog and interactive and not a comic or whatever. But characters would all need to be like voices or doubts, or generic characters from the time period--depending on where these events take place.

I could always have that happen and then only specific times in the past are interactable, and every now and then it breaks away into something streamlined... As much as I’d like to not create a barrier between plot and asks anymore than I have in the past, I can’t have everything weirdly interactable you know?? If it’s a past event that’s already happened? But it’d be better than the character staring at the floor talking like it’s ask-a-therapist over here

i wish i could rant more abt my own fuckin blog but id be getting too into major spoilers over it.

at this point, im just happy if the blog serves as a fun read rather than anything serious, and is good entertainment value. it’s my first story ive even tried to go through with, and i should respect that a bit more and accept it for what it is, and when i try again i will have put these ideas to better use.

i'm not gonna argue the point abt OP any further bc yeah, you do make a good point about the flippant tone, but i think your sidenote in the tags missed my point? of course abusive women exist, but that One Specific Fear i mentioned is something that men and only men can do. not all men DO do it, and very few do intentionally, but they all can. i too know many kind men, but i also know they could do it, too. it's just something fucked-up that the stucture of western society has allowed to happen

i really don’t mean to put down your experiences at all, i’m very sorry you went through that, i was just making a point about a different set of experiences that relate the the patriarch in a different way

I put it in the tags as a tangibly-related side rant, so while it’s related to why OP’s attitude annoyed me so much it’s not directly related to the book/film itself. while we’re discussing it, though (and I mean this in a completely non-aggressive way) I guess I’m wondering why it’s only men who can induce that fear? I’m assuming you mean the loud, violent behaviour that then results in fear when a victim of abuse hears a man talking loudly, sees a drunk man, etc, which is understandable. but I’m genuinely wondering why that’s apparently unique to men? I get the same rush of unease and discomfort when I hear women yelling, and drunk women of a certain age demographic make me highly uncomfortable. they remind me of a female abuser I had who was very much like Jack – she was a loud, aggressive, sometimes violent alcoholic. I suppose I’m just confused as to how that Specific Fear (of a loud, maybe violent man and the fear of what he can potentially do to you) is only ever levelled at men. I’ve experienced it almost exclusively with women.

however, I know not all women are abusive, and I don’t look at a woman and immediately think about her potential to abuse me. I suppose I’m wondering why this seems to be the norm for men? you say you know kind men but you know they could do it, but what about the kind women? it really does sound, when people say things like that, that the only reason a man’s potential to abuse is considered is because only men have the potential to abuse. I’m sure you understand what a double standard that is.

as for any other feelings around men – any vibes they might give off, for example, you have to wonder where it’s coming from. I see a lot of posts on this site that really scrape the barrel with what’s classed as threatening, and sometimes I wonder if there’s not a level of paranoid projection going on. while anyone has a right to be concerned for their safety, you have to consider if it’s coming from internal or external forces. it’s awful if someone has been abused, but every man shouldn’t be held accountable for it. same way as I don’t hold every woman accountable for the abuse I suffered. a vast majority of them are decent, innocent people. the climate on this website really does blow everything up to be so hyperbolic and extreme and it’s easy to believe every man is a potential rapist if you only listen to what people are saying here, but in the real world men are normal, boring people who just want to do their own thing. a vast majority of them are not abusers or rapists, and they have no more potential to be awful than anyone else.

finally, this kind of all-men-are-abusers narrative is so harmful to anyone, male or female, who has been abused by a woman. the idea that paranoia is alright when it’s directed at men but misogynistic if directed at women is a terrible attitude to have, ans the constant posts about how all men are inherently wired to be abusive and women are strong perfect angels really fucks you up when a ‘strong perfect angel’ has beaten you or starved you or sexually assaulted you. it’s fine to be wary. it’s understandable to be scared if you’ve been abused. but I do wish that this idea that all men and only men give off vibes or have a potential to abuse would stop, because literally everyone has the potential to abuse and tumblr’s numbers are way off, even more so when you consider that many male victims of female abusers are too scared of backlash to speak out.

I’m sorry this got so long and please don’t think it’s all directed at you. I kind of used the opportunity to put all my thoughts on the matter down while we were on the subject, so this is as much a 'this is where I stand’ as a response.
