I'm starting to think I probably have some passive ADHD so I end up always admiring ppl who can just constantly do stuff, it's like a dream, your art is also like a dream, Vasco is also a sweet dream, I really like Vasco, he looks really sweet
I set aside a little bit of time every evening just to draw, it's become almost like a wind down routine for me. It helps if I don't treat it as serious 100% effort hard mode art time, I usually multitask a little on the side, watch a movie or take breaks to do little chores around the house and art just sort of happens if it happens. Lately I've been making mostly personal low pressure feel-good pieces.
One thing I really love about Jon and Martin is that it's not even slow burn. There is not even a spark in the beginning. And then whatever there is, it's not reciprocated. There's nothing there from Jon at first. And that's so human, isn't it?
You meet someone, and your first impression of them becomes how you think of them. You're not interested in changing that. But you also see each other all the time, every day. You talk. You go through stuff together. You learn things about them you didn't know.
After a while, you notice their absence when they're not there. You worry about them. You...miss them? You think about them. And when they're in danger, you realise you'd do anything to help them.
It's not a lightbulb moment. You don't know when it happened, or how. It's not falling in love, there was never any falling involved. It's just day after day of knowing someone, of having them on your mind until you realise you need them in your life like you need air.
It starts with nothing and becomes everything. And I think that's beautiful.
I rewatched Guns For Hire tonight and I forgot how funny the droid chase on Plazir-15 is.
These poor people are just enjoying their meals in a fancy restaurant and suddenly a Mandalorian in the middle of an intense chase sprints in...
(I love the way Din holds out his hand apologetically to them... in a world of boys he's a gentleman.)
Then said Mandalorian launches himself through a window to catch the droid...
No hesitation, just straight away launches himself through a window.
(And slides along on the floor in a thrilling sequel to #weeeeeeee)
I love knowing that throughout the galaxy there are probably so many people with anecdotes about this one shiny Mandalorian who arrives on planets, causes a ruckus and then leaves without elaborating. Din is truly insane and a nuisance [affectionate] and his hatred for droids is probably infamous at this point.
did anyone else feel like they were having a religious experience watching dev patel strangle a cop w a chain while that somebody to love edm remix was playing? because holy shit
