Hi! I really love all your takes and character analysis. I'm new-ish to Batman so these are always so educational for me 😅 I was wondering, in your opinion, of all the batkids, who would you say would make the most terrifying villains? And who, canonically, would you say exercises the most self control to prevent exactly that from happening? Like every day, they have to work to prevent themselves from crossing that line.
...(Is it Dick? I feel like you're going to say Dick)
Thank you!
You got me!! Those are good questions!
I had to think a lot about this honestly.
So for most terrifying villain, I would say Dick. Mostly because it's just canon. When Dick was the villain both times in New Order and in DC vs Vampires, he practically eradicated the world based on who he felt needed to go. In DC vs Vampires he didn't care for anyone so by the time he was done there were no humans left. In New Order he lost it when the heroes accidentally killed Bruce and thus destroyed the entire justice league and remade himself as the head of all military operations under the government. Dick also knows exactly how to kill Bruce and he's terrified of it (Nightwing: Knight Terrors). Kory once told him during the Teen Titans (2003?) comic that Dick could stack up all the Titans and could take on the Justice League if he wanted to but Dick states that he knows and that's exactly why he's scared.
Also the way he manipulates every single person in existence in both his typical Nightwing runs is just a hint of the brilliance. Many times when his partners want to chase after a villain, he makes them let them go so that he grab the lizard, its hiding spot, and its family rather than just the tail.

Grayson Annual #3
Dick is not reckless in anyway either, he plans and analyzes and calculates as he moves which makes him a fantastic strategist, detective, and doer all in one.
Or actually I change my mind, I choose Cass. I forgot about her initially. Cass can beat everyone in the world (except Harley). Batman has admitted it too.
Tumblr media
Detective Comics (2016) Issue #951
She's unstoppable. So unless the Batfamily sends in Harley, in a straight fight where no one runs away *cough* Batman Issue 137 *cough*, then Cass would win. After her though, in a tactical and fighting sense combined it would be Dick.
Jason is canonically the one who struggles with self-control everyday. But unlike some people, I don't think this a fault of his that should be changed or erased. To me, each robin represents a certain characteristic of society.
Dick - the hope of the people.
Jason - the anger of the people.
Tim - the morality of the people.
Stephanie - the safety of the people.
Damian - the rights of the people.
Dick says the meaning of robin is helping the good. And all the robins do this in their own ways.
Jason's robin represents the rightful anger by the people against the injustice. Like the Boston Tea Party against Britain's taxation, Jason was born and raised in Gotham so his love for the common people on the street is overwhelming. He wants to help every woman and child find a better life and survive because it's reflective of the life he and his mother were forced to face. So when he sees a man sexually assaulting a woman or beating a child or selling drugs, his anger bursts out. And in Gotham, there's a lot of that everywhere. So take a good person and put in him the skills and fuel for hurting the bad and you get Jason Todd. That's why from his Robin days he has struggled with self-control.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"He was a drug dealing pimp."
Tumblr media
Batman (1940) Issue #645
"I'm sorry...but that doesn't mean he didn't deserve it."
Furthermore in the Batman Urban Legends comic also in the Batman and Robin Eternal comic it shows that Jason's greatest wish is the Joker's death and that coupled with the Gotham War and Selina's interference, Jason has the most trouble with self-control. But I believe it's rightfully so.
I think after Jason it's Dick who struggles with self-control. Not as robin but as Nightwing. Especially during his darkest days of the Nightwing (1996) comic and the Outsiders comic, Dick has been shown to forcibly stop himself when someone hurts his friends or family.
Okay, the difference between Jason and Dick's struggle with self-control is that Jason feels it all the time because his motivating factor is ever present while Dick only struggles with it when someone hurts the people he loves because that's Dick's motivating factor.
Damian is the one who has the most trouble after that. Then Stephanie, Tim, Cass, and Duke. Although if you're including Stephanie's robin days, she would be tied with Jason.

Just watched Damsel and I reaally do not get the hype ngl.
Like... Possibly bc my first exposure to her was Enola Holmes, but something a bit Millie Bobby Brown's performance is jarringly broody (like, in a dcu batman way, not in a well-written batman way-) and the talking to herself sounds less like an actual 'Stressed as fuck twenty-something clinging desperately to her last shred of sanity-' more "Enola Holmes' snarky audience asides" which just did not. Fit.
Which was especially egregious when she spends 90% of the film entirely alone, despite several opportunities to fix this- either by making the dragon a more present and constant threat, doing more than one cryptic dream sequence with the ghosts, having her dad actually speak with her instead of apologising through desperate yelling and the narrative not even giving her time to like. React to that. She didn't know that-
Or the REALLY interesting one, which realising they weren't doing was what honestly made me check out of the movie entirely: the other girl she'd been making eyes at who got sacrificed just before her? Would Not Have Been Hard to just. Have her survive. And I, obviously, am leaning towards a ship there, but even just giving her someone to play off of would've done wonders for the pacing, especially for the exposition.
Meanwhile the plot was so busy being subversive it forgot to be coherent? Like. The dragon was already annoying, but then she killed Eloide's dad and just lost all sympathy from me. He literally spelled it out to her that he is a narrative parallel to the guy who killed her kids and she doesn't realise. That she's become the monster she hated. And just. Ahhh-
Also! That ending.
Total girl boss moment! Slaughtering your way through an innocent kingdom because the Queen (not the king, note, and the Prince was shown to be against it but spineless against his mean mother, bc nothing says girl boss like that old chestnut) and some creepy masked people did the only thing they could do to protect their kingdom from an unreasonable, illogical and unstoppable force holding a centuries long grudge. (Do we see their thoughts? No? They're just mean in one scene and so we're meant to ignore their lack of other choices?)
And then. Boat! And Dragon friend! Because its not like it was literally the first thing the film established, that her home was struggling with an issue a fire breathing dragon would be super helpful with dealing with, or anything- look, adventures!!!! Boats!!!

The Robin

Pairing : Edward Nashton x Robin!reader, teen!reader, Bruce Wayne x child!reader[all pairings are completely platonic]
Summary : after the debut of a young vigilante, Edward finds himself interested in learning more about them.
Warnings : flourishing obsession, mentions of death, mentions of dissapearances, acussation of neglect, delusional Edward.
-------------------------------------------------------
Edward often felt like he didn't belong anywhere in the world, all of it felt less cold than the orphanage he was forced into as a young boy but the freezing cold feeling that followed him everywhere never truly dissapear. He felt it every time he walked to work, he felt it even when drinking boiling hot coffee that was too bitter even for him, he felt it whenever he watched the news just to find out that more people dissapeared from Gotham. The cold never truly went away even when he tried to move on, but he couldn't even do that, move on. He had suffered the entirety of his life and watched someone like Bruce Wayne be victimised, babied while everyone forgot about normal orphans like himself and that filled him with an unstoppable rage that led to many worse things to happen. His envy for the rich and his hatred for the corrupt consumed him to a point of no return, he turned into someone so problematic that nobody wanted to adopt the young boy whose eyes glared at them like a criminal in a mugshot.
Him being a young adult could've meant a chance for him to be better in life to be a part of society, but he didn't want to be part of it when everyone was just as disgusting and corrupt as those people who have up on kids like him. So Edward decided to stay a loner with a job that he didn't enjoy but at least it paid the bills, dirty blonde haired man thought that he could live a life without needing anyone, he had gotten accostumed to independence from a young already so he was shocked the moment he met a young vigilante who went with the alias of ‘Robin’. They were always trailing behind the batman like the Dr. Watson to his Sherlock, they were definitely rather young in their teens he could assume, Edward had always admired Batman so seeing the man he idolises get a sort of sidekick made him wonder what was so special of this Robin kid for someone so intimidating to recruit. After extensive hours of research for days he finally discovers that Robin is an orphan like himself, having been adopted by some unknown rich man who the young adult couldn't identify, after the death of their parents two years ago the teen was adopted almost immediately and soon enough they found a new family.
Robin had a tragic story, death of parents, probably neglected by some rich asshole who doesn't care enough about them. I mean if their child was actually cared for they probably wouldn't be out fighting crime and solving cases with the batman, who wasn't a bad guy but he was an adult man with a secret identity someone who any caring parent would be weary of. The more that he found out the more he was getting attached to this kid whose name he didn't even know, any possible document being hidden or their name was completely erased for their safety. He was finally starting to see why the batman chose them, after all they were in need of protection and they were very athletic which was proved after videos of them fighting thugs were revealed to the public. They were the perfect sidekick for someone like Bat cause who better to protect Gotham than someone who was victim to it's corruption, the more he learned about them the quicker his batman shrine turned into a Robin shrine. The new vigilante was truly fascinating and absolutely adorable, who knows maybe the duo of him and batman could turn into an unstoppable trio, The Riddler, Batman and Robin.

Ok so post-Nuzlocke Platinum finale shenanigans:
I was out of "good" flying types to put my Fly HM on so I unboxed Hooty and used it for the rest of the run. Noctowl is famously kinda bad compared to other flying types in gen 4 and therefore nobody's first or even second choice, so I wasn't thrilled about using him. Even so, I trained him up so he wouldn't just take up space in my party and force me to go up against the e4 + Cynthia with 5 pokémon.
The final team was
Maren the Empoleon (I narratively justified his return with catching the lake spirits)
Dash the Rapidash
Guy the Machoke
Fenrir the Umbreon
Nightshade, the Haunter I used to catch Mesprit (I was not about to level up another pokemon)
Hooty
We wiped to Garchomp once due to being 6 levels below cap (oops), then went back in at level 60. The elite 4 was not a challenge (did you know a Haunter with giga drain can knock out half of Bertha's team), but Cynthia is always terrifying so there was a good chance we would wipe again. I opened with Dash to knock out the Spiritomb as fast as possible (and used up one of her full restores), then switched to Maren when her Milotic one-shot Dash. I had to think, because we didn't really have anything that could hurt her good, and she couldn't hit Maren either so it was chip damage against chip damage (her Mirror Coat was a little trouble on that account but I had plenty of potions).
But since my plan for Garchomp needed Maren with full HP and a lot of PP, and due to the fact that Cynthia still had a counter for both him and Fenrir in the form of Aura Sphere Togekiss + Lucario and could switch at any time, I tried something with Nightshade but she was pretty frail and got mirror-coated into oblivion, and through some unfortunate trial and error I eventually switched to Hooty who didn't really have a Role in the battle. I actually forgot Milotic had Ice Beam, so when she hit Hooty I thought I was in big trouble
But then he took less than a third of his hp in damage and left me slackjawed. It turns out despite its meager move pool and low attack stat, Noctowl is both bulky in HP and tanky in Sp. Def., so he could deal with super effective moves like a champ. With the help of several hyper potions, he managed to outlast and fell both Ice Beam Milotic and Shock Wave Togekiss. He eventually went down to a Stone Edge from Lucario, but boy did he prove his worth in the end. Truly represented his unstoppable Owl House namesake.
From then Guy one-shot Lucario with a boosted Revenge, Fenrir finished off Roserade with a couple Psychics, and we were down to facing the Terror Himself, Garchomp.
We were 3 on one so I thought we were fine as Fenrir hit him hard with Dark Pulse, but then Garchomp ate that Sitrus Berry, Dragon-Rushed Fenrir to ashes and Earthquaked Guy pretty hard on switch when Cross Chop did very little. I used Guy's last turn to revive Hooty just in case -- and immediately regretted it as I realized Hooty does not take physical hits nearly as well. My only hope was for Maren to survive a super effective STAB Earthquake (which he very likely wouldn't) and retaliate with a quad-effective Ice Beam.
But then, RNG smiled upon me, as I had given Maren a Quick Claw before I entered the e4 (and it had never activated to the point I actually forgot about it), and right then it activated and the Ice Beam hit, ending the battle.
This last attempt (and subsequent victory) hapoened on the afternoon of the 25th. It was so hype y'all. A real Christmas miracle. I love pokemon

Bakugou Katsuki - Rising
So I told someone a while ago I’d be writing an essay on Bakugou’s lines from 284, and I’m keeping true to my word. If you’re wondering which lines, well my friend, these lines;
Tumblr media
So this, to me, is one of the most emotionally packed pages of these recent chapters. For one, it shows us that Bakugou has always been watching Deku, the same as Deku has been watching him. Since they were kids, probably from the age of 4, Bakugou was able to tell Deku never thought of himself first, it was always what he could do to help and protect other people with no regard to his own safety or well-being.
“He’s always been like that.”
How would Bakugou know Deku has always been this way if he wasn’t paying attention to him? It goes beyond his bullying in Middle School, because he’s watched Deku stand up for other’s his entire life. The very first scene of the manga is Deku protecting a child from Bakugou and his group of misfits, despite being quirkless, and essentially helpless.
Tumblr media
Despite being scared, and knowing he didn’t have the strength to take on those boys, he still stood his ground and did what he could to protect the other kid. Bakugou witnessed that first hand, since he was the aggressor. He was the one Deku was protecting someone from.
There was no way Bakugou wouldn’t remember something like that.
We know he remembered how Deku extended his hand to him when he fell in the stream, even though Bakugou was fine and didn’t need any help. Deku still waded through that water and even risked possibly getting himself hurt, to reach out to Bakugou and make sure he was alright.
Tumblr media
Now, I am going to point out that the stream incident definitely happened before the scene of Deku protecting that boy since it’s evident they’re older in that scene, but it was presented first (literally the first panel of the entire manga), so it takes precedent.
Then we have the big one, which is the Sludge Villain incident, and Deku’s biggest show of self-sacrifice probably to date within the manga, since he was quirkless and would have certainly ended up dead if All Might hadn’t managed to power up. Even with the times he’s wrecked his body using OfA, he at least had some kind of fighting chance because of the power, but with the Sludge Villain, he had nothing. He was just throwing himself out there in hopes, by some miracle, he could do something to save his friend, even if it meant losing his life in the process.
Tumblr media
Another instance of Bakugou witnessing firsthand the self sacrificial nature of Deku. Throughout the manga we’re given these instances, and the next big one is Bakugou’s kidnapping. Now, he didn’t see Deku’s fight with Muscular, but he did see the aftermath, he saw that ruined body running at him full force with no care to the damage done to himself, and even before that, he saw Shoji carrying him while Deku continued to plan out their plan of rescue, like his entire body wasn’t a crumpled mess.
Tumblr media
Time and time again, Bakugou has been witness to Deku’s behavior, to this self sacrificial nature. The scene above is the first real time we see Bakugou acknowledge it. He tells Deku to stay back, he knows if he continues trying to fight looking like that, he’s going to die. I’ve seen other translations and I believe in the anime he says something to the context of “Don’t come, Deku.” Which, either way you look at it, it gives the same impression of Bakugou trying to protect Deku in that moment. Because he knew if there was an opportunity for Deku to reach, he would have fought until there was nothing left of him.
“And now that he can do so much more...”
This line is important because it is Bakugou acknowledging Deku’s current strength with OfA, but it is also his confession of worry because he knows who Deku is, and what this means for him. If Deku was reckless and willing to sacrifice himself when he was a 4 year old child with no quirk, well now that he has the strongest power essentially in existence, that means certain death. There is nothing stopping him from completely destroying himself, and we saw a brief example of that when Deku fought Muscular, though not even close to the level he was going at Shigaraki, and what Bakugou was actually getting to witness during this chapter and 285/286.
Tumblr media
I use the above image because it kind of shows how bad off Deku was, which is far worse than when he fought Muscular, let me remind you. That scene is in chapter 285, after he’s essentially destroyed both of his arms hitting Shigaraki probably upwards of 10 times with 100% OfA.
Remember, Bakugou has been watching all of this from the ground.
“Something doesn’t feel right, it makes me wanna keep him at arms length.”
Well ya know, I don’t really blame you for feeling that way, Bakugou, I wouldn’t feel right if the kid I knew my entire life was willing to die at literally every turn without thinking for a split second about himself, either. It’s a little strange, but that’s what makes Deku the unstoppable force that he is, because he has the drive to save people no matter what. Now if he could master his power and depend on other’s, it would be even better, because then maybe he wouldn’t have to kill himself trying to protect people.
But seriously, that line shows Bakugou's uncertainty about getting close to Deku, because that kind of behavior is scary. It's intimidating. To just...throw your life away for the sake of someone else, that's gotta be scary to see someone do, and Bakugou has witnessed it over and over because of his closeness to Deku.
Now for the big one.
"Back then, I ignored my own weakness...so I ended up bullying him."
There's the kicker, folks. The real development we've all been waiting for.
I do want to point out that when Bakugo was 4, he didn't realize he had weaknesses like that. He was honest to God just a bratty kid that probably thought Deku was weird for caring so much about people despite, essentially, being useless to them. Because what could Deku do? Nothing. He couldn't help anyone because he was quirkless, but he still tried, and that's what affected Bakugou so strongly.
So strongly, in fact, that he never forgot it for a single second.
From 4 years old all the way up to 16 years old. 12 years. 12 years Bakugou Katsuki was witnessing Deku's self sacrificial nature. Again and again he watched as this boy who had nothing, continued to fight for something, and then he was granted power, terrifying power, and now Bakugou is left to wonder how the fuck any of this could have happened. Because if Deku had just stayed quirkless and accepted it, maybe, just maybe, he would stop that self sacrifical bullshit. Maybe he would see himself a bit more.
But then he was given OfA, and all of that hope was gone. Now he was given a power meant to take on the greatest evils and every person before Deku had died for the cause, so why would it stop with Deku, who was already ready to get himself killed to protect someone else when he was like 14 years old?
The scenes we have of Bakugou acknowledging Deku's behavior, and acknowledging his own behavior, it's such a raw scene. It takes a lot to acknowledge you've done wrong by someone else. It takes a lot of strength to sit back and recognize those ugly parts of you, and here Bakugou is, doing just that. And he isn't doing it for some self righteous get me off, either. He's doing it because he genuinely cares about Deku's well being, and he always has.
It never came out the right way, and he sees that now, but that doesn't mean the concern wasn't there. He just didn't know the right ways to express it, but as things have gotten more serious and now Deku is truly risking his life for this cause, he's come face to face with it. He can't hide from it anymore. The more OfA develops, the more Deku is going to put himself out there, and Bakugou isn't going to sit around while he kills himself when he could just learn to ask for help.
This stretches all the way into 285 and Bakugou's sacrifice, because he saw Deku about to end up seriously hurt or worse, and he knew he couldn't let that happen. Of all the years spent endlessly tearing himself apart for other people, Bakugou knew he needed to show the other in some way he didn't have to do it like that. He didn't have to fight alone.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That, and it was part of his atonement. It was a piece of his apology to Deku, to show him that he valued him, and he was willing to put his life on the line for someone, for him.
Bakugou didn't think when he rushed out to save Deku. It was instinctual, like breathing. He saw someone he cared about in danger, and his body moved on it's own. That, from the angry brat we get in chapter 1, is a beautiful showcase of perfect character development and growth. If you take into account everything I've discussed throughout this, it should be easy to realize or at least see a bit of Bakugou's perspective, and his thought process when dealing with Deku.
It never justifies any of his past behavior, but it gives us clarification, and then allows us to appreciate his thoughts and actions in 284 and 285 even more.

All of You
A Leviathan x Reader fic
Genre: Fluff, slight angst
Wordcount: 1.2k
Warnings: none.
.・゜゜・✿✼:*゚:.。..。.:*・゚゚・*.・✫・゜・。.。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆
You knew that falling for a hardcore otaku demon would be a bad idea, and yet, your heart didn't listen. Leviathan was someone you never expected to come into your life and invade your thoughts every waking moment of the day, sometimes even in your dreams. No matter how hard you tried to make your brain become occupied with something else-work, food, sleep, anything else-it always went back to him. Even when being in the human realm, you would wonder if he was doing alright, if he was eating and sleeping properly.
To everyone else, they thought Leviathan was ugly or gross, seeing as he would sometimes go weeks without bathing. To you, he was adorable. Whenever you'd force him to shower and he'd whine about possibly missing the newest anime premiere, you'd think he looked so cute, staring at you with those sad eyes of his, trying to convince you to let him stay and watch. Whenever Leviathan would go on a spree of playing games and not leave his chair for anything, you always brought him snacks and some water, telling him to take a break every now and then to hydrate and eat.
Even with how insecure and tsundere like he was, you fell for him, because to you, he was perfect. However, that didn't mean you told him right away. You'd always give some stupid excuse to not confess, when in reality you were scared beyond words. In your mind, confessing to Leviathan was the same as going into a boss fight severely underleveled. No matter how hard you tried, you couldn't get yourself together and just….say it. Which is where you are now. Planning out how you were going to confess to Leviathan.
"Hmm….maybe through Minecraft- no that's not gonna work too well….". You had been at it again, trying to plan out how you were going to confess to Levi without making a fool of yourself. Pacing back and forth in your room, plotting some stupid plan. Being so caught up in your head, the notification ring from your D.D.D scared you, and you went to see what or who it was, secretly hoping it was Leviathan asking to hang out. Your silent hopes were crushed when you saw it was Satan asking you to head to his room. Heading over, you pass Mammon and Asmodeus in the hall, both rambling about money or skin care or something. Once at Satan's room, you ask what he needed you for.
"I'm tired of seeing you and Levi go back and forth with each other." You blinked. "What do you mean?" Satan puts his book down and looks at you. "I mean the fact that you both have feelings for each other, it's pretty obvious." Feeling heat rising up your neck, you immediately start denying your feelings towards Levi. However, Satan wasn't having any of it. "Listen, just go confess to him. The worst that could happen is that he'll faint from being too flustered." You couldn't go against what he was saying, as you knew it was true. And yet, the fear that ran through your body was unstoppable. As if reading your mind, Satan puts a hand on your shoulder. "I promise you, nothing will go wrong. But if he does pass out, you owe me a book of my choice." You smacked his head.
It had been an hour since then, and you had been standing in front of Leviathan's door for a good minute trying to calm yourself down. You could hear the noise coming from his computer and the rapid clicks of his mouse, most likely playing a game. Smacking your cheeks a few times, you sucked it up and knocked on his door. "Levi…?" No answer. Maybe he had his headphones on? You tried again, louder this time, and it sounded like he finally noticed as you heard a small crash of something falling onto the floor. "W-who is it?!" You noticed how startled his voice sounded. "It's just me…" The door immediately swings open, and you almost stumble from the fright it gave you. Looking up at Leviathan with wide eyes, he stares back down at you with red cheeks. "What're you doing here? It's almost 11 pm." Had it really been that late? "Oh, I'm sorry, should I go then? I didn't check the time and thought it was earli-'' You couldn't finish your sentence as he had dragged you into his room and shut the door, effectively startling you once again. "No, no, don't go! B-but don't take this the wrong way!" How cute. You noted that his game was paused, and that what fell onto the floor was a controller of his. Most of the lights were off, the only light in the room coming from the massive fish tank, covering everything in a blue glow. "Did something happen? Why are you here?" Remembering your reasoning, you feel the nervousness and heat running through your body again. This was it. Whatever happens, happens. "I actually need to tell you something." Standing in front of him, you look into his eyes for the first time. Under the blue lighting, Leviathan looked ethereal, almost as if he never fell from heaven. The blue lighting fit him perfectly, and all you could do was admire him. You completely forgot about everything, and Leviathan was growing restless and flustered with your staring. Covering his face with his hand, he looks away.
"Leviathan, I love you." A moment of silence passed before you realized what just transpired. Eyes widening in shock, you smack your hand over your mouth. You did it. You finally confessed. You refused to look at him, scared at what expression he was making. "Why?" All emotions left you, and you looked at him in disbelief. "I'm a yucky otaku, I don't shower for weeks at times. Why me? I'm not worth it." You couldn't believe what you were hearing. Leviathan thought he wasn't worthy of love. Bullshit. Marching right up to him, you grab his face between your hands and force him to look into your eyes. "Levi, you're absolutely worth it, no matter what you think. You're such an amazing demon, you care about your brothers, you just have your own way of doing it. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. It's okay to not shower for a while, as long as you're happy and comfortable, that's all that matters. I fell for you, all of you." You smiled at him, and he couldn't take it anymore. Levi crushed you in a hug, trembling slightly, trying to hide his crying face in the crook of your neck. You wrapped your arms around his shoulders, using one hand to pet his hair to comfort him. Moving you both to his bathtub bed, you try your best to lay down with him, although it took a while to get comfortable in such a small space as Levi was huge. You didn't know how long it was until he calmed down, but you didn't mind. He moves his head from your neck and looks up at you, eyes bloodshot and puffy. You smile at him, and kiss his forehead, pulling him closer to you. "Go to sleep, it's late." He nods, nuzzling his face to your neck again. Before he drifts off, he gives his answer. "I love you too…" Your smile grows wider, and soon, you follow after him.
--------
Bonus:
"He didn't faint." You look at Satan with a smug look, and he sighs. "Well, that's fine." Then, he smirks. "So, about that mark on your neck…" You smack him. He laughs.
