Out of all of the characters to debut in the 3D Virtual World series, Jean Claude the sea serpent has the most recurring appearances, having been featured in the MMO, JumpStart Deep Sea Escape, JumpStart Escape from Adventure Island, JumpStart Advanced Kindergarten-2nd Grade: Lost Island Quest, and JumpStart Academy Kindergarten.

If anyone wants a YouTube recommendation, I highly recommend Space Ice. It’s a channel solely dedicated to:
1) Treating Jean-Claude Van Damme as a god
2) Shitting on everything Steven Seagal has done
3) Breaking down the most over-the-top action movies (usually from the 80s or 90s) in the funniest way possible

Admittedly I am VERY far behind on this series of books. Think Obsidian was the last one I read and I know a LOT has happened and changed since that point of the series. Yet, I am an avid lover of the early books and especially the relationship between Anita and Jean-Claude. Out of all her relationships, even Asher, I felt these two just had the most sweltering chemistry and sexual tension. These books are full of sexual tension and just sex in general but they're still really good reads otherwise. What are the books about? Anita is a vampire hunter and Jean-Claude is a vampire. In society vampires are known and she can be hired to kill rogue vampires or any supernatural creature. Magic and mayhem are frequent in these books!

One of the tasks in the JumpStart 3D Virtual World games involves creating a newspaper article about a creature in the ocean, presumably meaning Jean Claude. However, the picture used for this article is rather odd, and contains various traces of being from an earlier stage of the game’s development, which are detailed below.
The creature in the picture has a black rectangle obscuring most of its face, and the rest of its body doesn’t appear to entirely match Jean Claude as he is seen in-game (see the bottom image for a comparison). Additionally, the cat avatar appears to be standing on the sea floor rather than swimming, and lacks the swim goggles that the player’s avatar always wears when underwater in-game. These factors point to this image being created before Jean Claude’s design and the underwater mechanics were finalized.
