KNIGHT FLOWER
GENRES: Historical, Action, Romance
SUMMARY: A woman widowed before she even met her husband decides to take charge of her own fate as a nighttime Joseon Robin Hood.
THIS SHOW HAS EVERYTHING: Crude memorial engravings, hidden costumes, wall-jumping, rice distribution, filial piety, palace drama, bookstore meet-cutes, hunky Garrison Captains, lunchboxes, merchants, men’s handfans, tiger scrolls, and making sure you live every day helping those you can.
HOT TAKE: I love how this was one of the most evil Left State Ministers I've seen in a while. I love how tall and goofy Lee Ki Woo can be. I love the shy romances that run throughout the main cast. I love every facial expression of Lee Ha Nee and I love Lee Jong Won in his undergarments.

Read a theory on twitter by one k fan that Doil has most probably transferred the money to Hyorin’s accounts. He was looking at her bankbooks when they went to rescue Inhye in that closed room. It will be such a genius move tbh. That would make Sangah as the person who embezzled money & hid them in her daughter’s accounts to avoid suspicions & then blamed it on a poor employee. I have always believed that Hyorin is her biggest weakness. Nothing will be sweeter than taking her down using that same weakness because she loved toying with Oh sisters using their love for each other. This would also complete the OG four little women.

Dr. Romantic: The Way to a Dream Come True
Tumblr media
Dr. Romantic is made up of three seasons with a lapse of 4 years between the Season 1 and Season 2 and a 3 years lapse between Season 2 and 3. The first season we are introduced to the regular Doldam Hospital and new arrivals: Kang Dong Joo and Yoon Seo Jung. Master Kim helps these two young doctors and his regular staff to sharpen their skills and find realize their dreams. We see their growth as professionals and as human beings, while healing people and fighting to keep the hospital open. This first season ends with Kang Dong Joo and Yoon Seo Jung heading to new challenges but leaving a hope for their return.
Second season, Master Kim and his regular staff are still healing people while fighting to maintain the hospital running. We are introduced to three new doctors: Cha Eun Jae, Seo Woo Jin, and Yoon Ah Reum. In this case we have doctors returning and a doctor from a capital hospital, Park MinGuk becomes Holdam Hospital director as part of Chairman Do's attempt to take Master Kim down. But at the end we leave the hospital with a secure standing (no one can touch the property) and Dr. Park decides to partner with Master Kim and work together towards making Master Kim's dream come true - have a trauma center in the hospital.
Season 3 seems to be the conclusion to his story. Now they have the trauma center building connected to the old part of the hospital and they are about to open, but they need government funding to help run the center since this is a non-profit hospital. The staff is divided into two areas and those working at the trauma center will need to deal with their new director. Master Kim's Plan B - Dr. Cha Jin Man, who is also Dr. Cha Eun Jae's father and later Plan A - Kang Dong Joo.
I must admit that I was so excited to see Kang Dong Joo back and to see that Yoo Seo Jung returned, along other doctors that were part of the staff in the previous two seasons. It is satisfying to see Master Kim's dream come true: have the trauma center ran by his students.
You would've thought that he would want to run the center - after all, it was his dream - but he decided to stay in the old part of the hospital and have the another person run the trauma center. I loved the love stories and the new young characters. It was a really sweet way to bring this story to an end.
This story is one of my favorites on the doctors-drama category. A most watch, the three of them. I would watch them back to back, that way I would catch on things I probably missed since I saw them when they came out and time has past between each viewing.

The Forbidden Marriage. 10
Story: 10
Acting: 10
Chemistry: 10❤️🔥
Comparable to: Mr. Queen (kdrama) ; Alchemy of Souls (kdrama); Love in the Moonlight (kdrama)
This is hands down one of my top favorite series so far of the year. It starts out strong and ends on a very strong note. It really does have everything. A lot of humor especially in the beginning that gradually spins into a mix of drama with romance and a dash of suspense. It’s for me a perfect formula. There’s never a dull moment throughout especially having just the right amount of episodes, a total of 12. The chemistry among the whole cast is oofing amazing, especially the standout chemistry between the leading main characters. Definitely definitely recommend, especially for those who haven’t watched it yet. I yelled at myself for not watching it sooner.

Second movie was more interesting then the first one. Maybe because I've got attached to the main characters, but we had more stories told and I liked the old man's and ex-reaper story. Also, KyungSoo who played Won has done an indescribable job! His scene, when was summoned - it was like watching a small boy as a victim of unimaginable violence...They called it as Suicide watch, but I am sure this is a mental disorder, there has to be a proper name for it. The way KyungSoo portrayed this character was this powerful!
I enjoyed the revealed story of three reapers from their lives.
Let's hope there will be another part with Won as a main lead :)
That's it for now, 5 days till AOS s2!!!🔥🔥🔥
Have a lovely evening/morning ❤️

I am somewhat satisfied with the ending (except doil injoo not being the endgame lets talk about that later) but there are few things i wished to see differently.
1. The villain takedown was not satisfactory. I was left confused about the dynamics between sangah & jaesang. His character was definitely much more than just killing himself at one order of his wife. Especially when did see him overpowering her in the past. Also, I wanted a more painful end for Sangah.
2. The functioning of Jeongran Society. I was left confused whether the other members were aware of Sangah killing people in the name of the society? We do know that her dad was actively involved in murders but they dealt with it poorly considering they focused so much on it in the beginning. I was confused whether it was an actual foundation to help underprivileged children & then kill them off once they were no longer useful? Like how & why? I was strangely very much interested in the cult so imagine my disappointment that they didn’t clear these things.
3. Romanticising Hwayoung’s actions: unpopular opinion but hwayoung isn’t the hero the drama made her out to be. she intentionally dragged injoo into this mess by giving her the money. her happiness my foot. she ain’t dumb to not know what she was putting injoo into while living lavishly herself in singapore. She intentionally dragged Injoo in all the mess & gets away with only a sorry? just because she saved her life in Singapore when she was the reason why Injoo landed in danger in first place. I still don’t get her motives. if she indeed cared about injoo then she wouldn’t have given her the money at first place knowing how sangah has been grooming injoo using her. she would’ve sent injoo far away from anything related to sangah. they want us to feel bad for her? she used injoo’s naivety as well for her own benefits just like others. & the fact that she actually hired an innocent person to get killed in her place is so damn fkd up. all this just for a revenge? i am glad doil wasn’t involved in her plans because i had a theory that they were working together to bring down sangah. still mad that injoo forgave her just like that because she saved her life in singapore but not even a thank you to doil when he has protected her at each & every step 😭
4. Doil’s closure with his family. I know the story wasn’t about him but just a scene with him & his parents wouldn’t have hurt. Especially when his life was directly impacted by the evils of Jeongran Society. I wanted to know how he & his mom survived the accident? What happened to his dad? Argh if only.
5. Hyorin’s reaction to her parents’ death. No matter how evil they were, jaesang & sangah were still her parents & they should’ve shown atleast one reaction from her. Ah well.
6. One scene with the Oh sisters together in their new apartment. They should have given us atleast a reunion of them being happy together one last time.
All in all it was a fun watch. The screenplay was engaging with beautiful cinematography & great acting from everyone. I still think they needed 2 more episodes to wrap up things in a more convincing manner. 8/10 for me (deducting one point for the above mentioned reasons & one for no doil-injoo endgame)
