SPORTSMASTER
The version of TV Series Stargirl leaves me a good impression of a villain who really loves his gimmick. Definitely a good concept on paper and I love the portrayal.
Exploding hockey puck, hardened baseballs, all sort of sport gimmicks could be presented realistically goofy. I love it.

Did the Crocks get pardoned or the charges dropped or did everyone just forget that they went to prison and broke out or is everyone just choosing to ignore it because they've been pretty harmless since returning?

Stargirl
Cameron (believing that his father is dead and that Courtney killed him): If it was an accident, then someone needs to own up to it. It matters to me [who did it]. I know he wasn’t always a good guy, but he was *my* father, *mine*. I don’t ever want to see you again.
Also Cameron (after his father, who’s not really dead after all, kills Artemis’s parents for definite, orphaning her): Well, that’s awful, but it was an accident.

Wait do we think that Sylvester is going to be a grocery store clerk and refuse to check out the Crocks and THAT’S what’s gonna start that fight? Because if so 10/10 Stargirl writers, I have zero notes

I can’t get over how while recognizably adaptations of the same character, Young Justice Sportsmaster and Stargirl Sportsmater are so different.
YJ Sportsmaster: Abusive father, bad husband, zero friends, doesn’t really care about his family and cares more about being a supervillain to the point he’s not really in their lives, zero regrets and will hurt people again
Stargirl Sportsmaster: Loving and supportive father, great husband, has great friends, decides to stop being a supervillain and end up being kinda a hero
