Would you be up to writing a part 2 to "Big News"? Maybe them getting all their family (Virginia's mom: Patty, Virginia's older sister: Louis, Robin's twin sister: Rebecca, and Rebecca's wife/both of the twins' childhood best friend: Jan) and tell them all the good news at once? Maybe the twins split off from the group and talk about how they grew up in the foster system, moving from home to home and never really having a family, and how their family as grown and how it's still growing? Wow, that's a lot, I'm sorry.

Big News Pt 2 (GB!Roman x GB!Trans!Virgil Fpreg)

"You ready for this?" Robin asked, fixing up the last touches of make-up in her vanity. Virginia gave a half-laugh, barely covering her nerves. "As I'll ever be," she responded. Robin merely laughed at her girlfriend's concern. "Oh come on," she said, lightheartedly. "They're just our family. What do you have to be so anxious about?" Virginia smirked at her, coming out with a response Robin already half expected from her. "Darling, if I'm ever not anxious, you should be terrified."

Robin rolled her eyes in amusement, as she began to put her make-up away. She walked over to her girlfriend, planting a loving kiss on her lips, giving her an obvious red lipstick stain on her cheek that Robin began to try to smear off. "I know, but still," she began. "It's just family. We know that none of them, hopefully, will say a word against this baby. You know that, Virge." Virginia jokingly shrugged, but Robin knew that she knew that that was the truth.

They'd agreed to all meet up at Patty, Virginia's mom's, house. After all, she'd practically taken Robin, and eventually her twin sister, in when she found out she was dating her daughter. They hadn't told her exactly why they wanted to gather everyone at her house, but Patty was so happy with the small family gathering, she didn't even need a reason. Just a date and time.

The couple had gotten there to find Rebecca and Louis' cars already parked in Patty's driveway. Virginia sighed, grinning. "We set up this meeting and we're the last people to get here," she joked. Robin laughed at the irony. She took a minute to look down at her stomach, covered by her blouse and red skirt. There was no visible bump yet, but she still knew that there was a tiny bean of a baby in there, and that knowledge was thrilling in and of itself. Virginia watched her staring, and Robin quickly met her, gaze becoming slightly flustered. But before she could say anything, Virginia had reached across to grab her hand and squeeze it gently as a sign of love. "Alright, let's go in," she murmured.

Patty did not hesitate to greet them both with loving warm hugs right at the door, before they'd barely even got inside. "Oh, come in you guys. Do you need anything? I have tea, coffee..."

"I'll have a coffee," Virginia answered. Robin was about to say the same, but realised that probably wouldn't be a good idea. So she decided to just ask for a water. The decision raised minor suspicion, but she quite liked the idea of a mystery forming around her. One that she would soon be quelling.

"Robbie!" she heard an over enthusiastic shout as soon as she walked into the living room, naturally belonging to her twin sister. Said twin immediately jumped up from her seat next to her wife and brought Robin into a hug. "Becca! How's it going? I haven't seen you in ages!" (It was actually just a month ago, but that was a decade by their logic). "I know! I've missed you so much." After the twins had had their very eager reunion, Rebecca's wife Jan and Virginia's sister Logan gave them a much more muted but no less warm greeting.

From then on, the meeting wasn't all too interesting. Just relaxing small talk as the two girls tried to internally figure out a good time to tell the news. Giving each other knowing looks that the other four were blissfully unaware of. Until Patty asked the segue question:

"So, anything big happen in anyone's lives recently?" Virginia and Robin made the unspoken decision to say their big news last, to surprise the others and give them time to figure out what to say. They listened patiently as Jan and Rebecca talked about a recent holiday they went on together, Louis talked about some happenings in work. Nothing compared to their own news. Robin was almost glad. She didn't want to be overshadowed.

"That sounds great! And what about you two girls?" Patty inquired, looking at both Virginia and Robin. Virginia and Robin side-eyed each other, laughing to themselves. Like it was some joke all the others weren't in on yet. "Well, it's a little bit of a surprise, but... we may or may not have a little one coming along in a few months."

Then Patty and Rebecca started screaming. "Robbie! You should have told me sooner!"

"Oh sweethearts! Did you hear that Louie! I'm going to have a grandbaby! Oh come here!"

Patty pulled the two of them into a huge hug, almost downright sobbing at this point, and all the other women joined in. Giving numerous congratulations to the expectant couple. "Just don't expect me and Rebecca to babysit with you," Jan had teased her.

Though the house meeting had been light and cheery from the beginning, after that announcement the enthusiasm seemed to go through the roof. Everyone excitingly talking about the baby and what Robin and Virginia knew. But Robin had noticed that Rebecca was rather quiet. Sure, she'd expected Jan or Louis to be rather reserved at times, but almost always it had seemed to never run out of things to talk about. She was beginning to grow a bit worried. Maybe she was unhappy about the news? Robin wouldn't have expected it, but maybe her sister was even jealous. Jealous that her and Virginia could do this so easily while her and her girlfriend would need to go through sperm donors or adoption if they ever wanted a kid.

Unbeknownst to the rest of the group Robin gave Rebecca a look of concern, mouthing out a "You okay?" towards her. Rebecca tried to give her a comforting smile in return. Continuing their muted conversation towards each other amongst the group, Robin nudged her head toward the door. Rebecca nodded, standing. "Alrighty folks! Me and Robbie are going for a walk."

"Alright!" Virginia responded. "Don't scare off the pigeons!" Rebecca playfully stuck her tongue out at her. The two decided to take a small stroll in the back garden, giving them the space to have a more personal conversation. So, Robin asked again, "Are you okay, Becca?" And Rebecca laughed, raw and genuine, much to Robin's pleasant surprise.

"We finally have a family."

Robin immediately understood. After their father left the family to start another when they were so young. After their mother turned to addiction to escape the despair of their rapidly spiralling situation. After they were taken out of her care because of it, and put into foster care. After they were placed in and out of what felt like thousands of different families, some good and then some less so, to say the least. After said experience nearly drove the previously inseperable twins apart due to their vastly different ways of getting through their situation: Robin trying to be one of the best and most obedient child these families had ever seen, and Rebecca trying to be their worst nightmare.

After all that, Robin had met and eventually befriended Virginia. Who had slowly ingrated both girls into her own family; single mom Patty and her older sister Louis. And then Rebecca had made a best friend out of Jan somewhere along the way as well, who Robin also became well acquainted with. They'd both fallen in love with their girlfriend and wife respectively. And now they were adding a new person to their little found family. A new person who Robin would do anything in her power to not let even half of what happened to her in her childhood happen to them. Not if she could help it. And she hoped Virginia shared her mindset.

"Yes, Rebecca, we finally do."

I don't think that anyone here knows that, but I'm a afab non binary person, which mean that, obviously, genderbends are my natural enemy

BUT

Enemies can work together toward an bigger goal, which in this case is something that I wanted to do for a long time: A genderbend version of the Sides!!

You may ask yourself: but why would you participate in such a cisnormative and binary practice? (I don't actually think you are asking yourself that, I just wanna explain myself) Well, dear stranger on the internet, it's easy: I really like how Sanders Sides deal with gender, gender presentation, gender roles and all this, so for the first time in my life I thought it would be interesting to imagine amab/masculine presenting characters of a show as being afab/feminine presenting

I tried my best to make they all look as the same person in costumes, because I was basically trying to do an alternative universe where everything is the same, except that Thomas (and all the sides, for extent) are women, so yeah, in this they are all white and cis (if I was to design they as actually human/different people Virgil and Remus would DEFINITELY be non binary, for example)

(And yeah Remus also has facial hair in this. BECAUSE I WANT TO)
