A trio of Steamed Molten Salted Egg Yolk Custard Piggy Buns (猪仔流沙包) in a bamboo steamer basket. Contained within is savoury and sweet molten lava of salted egg yolk custard that burst out upon biting into the pig-face bun.
My brother’s table ordered the Crispy BBQ Honey Pork Buns (脆皮叉烧包) and he sent one over to our table. Inside it are juicy sweet pieces of char siu which went well with the lightly crispy bun.
We had the Steamed Glutinous Rice with Chicken wrapped in Lotus Leaf (珍珠糯米鸡), a more luxurious version of Lo Mai Gai. While the taste is decent, there is no wow factor though the lotus leaf did imparts it unique fragrant to the glutinous rice.
Whenever I watch a water droplet on a lotus leaf it reminds me of two things –1 – How precious and precarious is life2 – It’s in the water but never touched by the water
I deeply appreciate this particular phenomenon of nature and just wish to give my love and respect to the truth of life through this artwork.

There was no reason to lie!!! Look at these! And they're arguably even better BECAUSE THEY ARE REAL. They turn transparent when it rains! They're usually white! Isn't that so cool? Native to China/Japan, they bloom in summer and prefer a sandy/loamy soil. Also known as the Umbrella Leaf or Asian Umbrella Leaf. This world is amazing, and I refuse any notion saying otherwise.
