I can’t wait for all the funny moments in S3.
Good Omens is not shallow but it is a comedy and I can’t wait for the hilarious moments.
What is it going to be? Aziraphale getting special delivery of cake to Heaven and getting caught with his mouth full by Metatron? Crowley sunbathing in Maldives, drink it in hand, opening his eyes because sunshine is suddenly gone and here’s Aziraphale with a little innocent grin on his face? Is he going to get fired for cake? Is Crowley going to laugh so hard he will fall into the sea? “Stop laughing Crowley, it’s not funny!” “Was the cake worth it?” “It was actually!” “🤣🤣🤣” “It was a boring ass job! Cake helped!”
Is Beelzebub going to stick to Crowley’s side because he will be THE guy to bitch about Gabriel to? “Did you know he SNORES?! Like a fucking TRUCK!” “You should totally break up with him.” “You’re not helping, Crowley!” “Smother him?” “Tempting.”
“I want the apology dance.” “Crowley, I apologised 666 times per your request already.” “Now I want a dance.” “No.” “On top of the Bentley.” “Have you lost your mind?!” “In the middle of Soho.” “No!” “I’m inviting all neighbours.” “You know what - I’m going to rock their world!!! You will see!” “Counting on it, Angel.” *cue in Macarena*
“Crowley.” “I’m sleeping.” “Crowley.” “I’m not sleeping anymore.” “Crowley would you still love me if I was a worm.” “I’m getting a divorce.”
“Crowley can you pick me up? I don’t like it here.” “You’ve been gone 4 hours.” “Exactly. It’s lunch time. They have no meal deals.”
*5 minutes after being free* “So what do we do now?”

btw I think
“q!Roier thinks q!Cellbit killing people is hot”
and
“q!Roier is equally as pissed off at the Feds as q!Cellbit and he wants to see them burn to the ground and will gladly help his husband in doing so. He’s lost so much at the hands of the Feds and he has every right in the world to be angry with them. He doesn’t see it as a red flag because he agrees with what he’s doing and will do the same.”
can co-exist

Show!Jesper had been hiding his Grisha abilities for years until Wylan showed up and he (accidentally) used them in front of him twice in the span of what? Two days?
And then also show!Wylan had been hiding his extreme case of dyslexia for years until he met Jesper and revealed his secret to him (by choice) within those same two days

I once read something about the concept of two people being parallel lines, wherein the angst was that they could never meet. However, it also means that they’ll never grow further apart after intersecting. They will always be side by side, they’re a constant in each other’s lives.
I was reminded of that concept in Kaveh’s hangout, particularly the part about his mother’s past and the whole thing about understanding vs companionship. The parallels between Kaveh’s parents and Haikaveh are pretty obvious.
Faranak, like Kaveh, was a genius with ideals and visions no one could understand. Faranak loved Kaveh’s father not because he understood her, but because he stayed by her side, sharing her joys and sorrows.
With Haikaveh, they’ve both made it clear that they’ll never truly understand each other’s ideologies and see the world in the way the other does. Haitham will never become an idealist like Kaveh, but he knows Kaveh’s ideals, and he knows how they’ve affected him, he knows Kaveh.
This also ties in to how I interpret their whole mirror thing. They’re not trying to make each other understand, yet they keep debating over their ideologies. It’s because that’s how they try to understand each other’s visions (which they can’t see with their own eyes). They see it through each other, their mirror.

So because I am crazy and insane, I went ahead and played against Al-Haitham numerous time in order to figure out ALL the cards that are apart of his deck.
You see, when m*hoyo creates decks for our playable characters, multiple things obviously come into play:
- Do the cards synergies well with one another? - Does the element duo open interesting event card and/or action card? - Do the character apart of the deck know each other/have a good relationship with one another? - What character card are currently available? - etc.
You know, basics. Not every point have to check out, of course. But most do. Kind of the way a non-sweaty player would think. And so while I was surprised and delighted to see Cyno in Al-Haitham deck, I had to rationalize my delusions.
"Oh, it’s for electro resonance. The card he’s playing bursts down his opponent. He will need the energy." Okay, very true rational me, but then again, why Cyno? Based on your assumption, would Raiden’s card not have been more sutible? Perhaps Kujou Sara who thrives in quicken decks…
"Maybe because his deck takes advantage of sumerian event cards which only activates when two character cards are from Sumeru" True true true. Damn. Perhaps, you are right. I’m just delusional, but I am content… unless. Isn’t D*ri from Sumeru? Which raises my question again…UGH. No no actually, you are probably right. Most certainly right, rational me. But I must see him use it myself. To appease my insanity.
So I played against Mr Scribe. Only to beat him in four rounds. So I matched us again. And again. And again. I think our longest match was 11 rounds? No matter. My point is, he did not use a card which REQUIRES two sumerian. Not once. He sure damn used the electro resonance card though, I can assure you that!
I even went to check other characters decks, keeping in mind what event/action card were available when they came out. And like, if I can grossly summarize, you have type
A) They are lowkey meta decks (i.e. Wanderer)
or type
B) They are definitely… decks (i.e. Klee)
Guess where I would categorize Al-Haitham’s deck? He’s soooo likeeee (it’s type B by the way). I’m probably trying to rationalize it because I genuinely thought he’d do something so stupidly meta and he just… did not? And even if he did, I thought it would have a strategy that isn’t "rely on Cyno’s card when all turns to shit". Like sir! Please stop making me like your pairing more and more it was not supposed to be like this.

I can’t believe I have to say this again.
But like.
Do not leave comments that bash on the actual show whilst ‘complimenting’ my fanworks. It does not make me happy at all IN FACT I really HATE it when people do that.
I create stuff for this fandom because I adore the show with all its flaws and everything. I grew up with the show and I adore the characters so much. So when I receive comments or tags saying stuff like “Ugh if only the writers knew how to write like that” or “You should be in charge of canon cos canon is shit lol”, it just fucks up my mood and it makes me feel grossed out.
There are millions of things out there to write or say to other people about their work without having to bring down canon and what the actual professionals have worked on.
Keep your gripes about the show off my work.

ok i have a theory that the amenity numbers correspond with street numbers. so it's called amenity number nine because it's on ninth avenue. that way the numbers also still correspond to the quality of the toilets.
so the cops would have jurisdiction based on where the amenities are. that way it makes sense that they're the only two cops, because they only have jurisdiction in that particular area.
ok im done :)

what Aziraphale thought he was saying was “so remember that bullshit felony conviction on your record? the one that’s cut off all kinds of opportunities for you? I can get it reversed and you can get back all the things which never should have been taken from you”
what Crowley heard was “so remember your parents you’ve been estranged from for decades? the ones who kicked you out? good news I told them where you live and they say we can BOTH move in with them”
so in that exchange “I don’t think you understand what I’m offering you” “I think I understand a lot better than you do” they’re both 100% correct and 101% wrong

hi yes this might be a little random but velma has me thinking about how I’m still mad lost city of gold didn’t get the promo it deserved. it is a live action scooby doo musical bro, it’s a new medium for this franchise and with the rise in popularity of musicals it could’ve/still could do really well. it was getting out to kids and introducing them to scooby doo in a new way; the fact that nobody heard about it (my mom got an email about it through the local theatre and told me it was happening) is really upsetting to me. it’s such a fun and cute iteration with good ass music and it deserved better

I was just thinking about Shadowheart (as usual)
I started to play BG3 without any romance in mind. I went pretty much blind, and yet my approval with Shadowheart raised quickly. Just today I wondered why and I think it's because I am a pretty private person too (a friend of mine calls me hermetic or cryptic a lot lol).
And all my durges/tav have some traits that reflect this in different ways.
Jorn (OG Tav): he's your Average Good Boy and would never cross anyone's boundaries
Jorgmund (Durge, my precious boy, I love him): he honestly doesn't care XD, especially in early game. As the story advances, he genuinely starts to care about his friends
Azure (Durge, recently created so she's a WIP): She hates people prying in her business, so she doesn't do it either
And of course, these three mfs are all Shadowheart smoochers because I just love her a lot and I can't escape the insane grip this woman has on me.
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

I feel like Time, Hyrule, and Wild would all be in the 'inadequate social skills' group, for their own reasons.
Time is raised by a giant tree among immortal children; Hyrule probably grew up living in a cave; Wild still have wide gaps in his memory. They all lack the right common sense in the Hylian world, but in different ways. I dunno, I just think it's interesting to see how that affects each of them in their respective experiences.
Time took a few long years to grasp the wrongness of sending a 10yr old into battle, because the kokiri don't have the concept of doing sth until you're older. They don't get older. Same with the concept of gender and sex, even age it self. And really he only understands a lot of Hylian concepts on a surface level, barely enough to follow along. Like Alice in the wonderland, nothing really makes sense to him in this weird place called Hyrule.
Wild on the other hand have a weak grasp on the concept of... A lot of things, actually. He knows about people having jobs that pays a salary, he knows that the usual people don't live off the wilderness, he knows that once he was also one of those people. But these are all just vague memories of Before, not the things he has experienced in his After. So they remains as a theoretical concept, it's not like they're any relevant in his post apocalyptic world.
(I wish I could come up with something for Hyrule too, but I really am not familiar with his story... Sorry)

Now that I think about it.
A character: acts disinterested with others, prefers to be by themselves and/or doing their own thing, misses social cues.
Literally everyone: They have autism!
Me: They have SzPD.
A character: acts quirky, constantly brings up their Thing in conversations, misses social cues.
Literally everyone: They have autism/ADHD!
Me: They have NPD.

Liking a fictional character that is also a mythological figure of major historical relevance is so hard because like. How can I get rid of the brainrot if this mf's cult was so widespread in my area that there's a bunch of places named after him

“Uh oh! Bad decision, Mark!” and “You got the bad ending!” have the exact same vibe. “Found you!” also fits into this category.  it really is the simple, innocuous lines delivered in an overly cheery tone within a horrifying context that makes said tone completely inappropriate and jarring that does it for people huh
