#Make Disney movies based on this!

I just found out that Disney+ made their home page all eras themed categories on the day the tour movie dropped. Not to compliment Disney or anything, but this is so fucking funny.😆
But also be real, Echo would be in Reputation. What the fuck were they thinking putting it in Fearless? Also Robin Hood in Lover? As opposed to Folklore...come on it was right there! (I also think Peter Pan and Wendy would be more appropriate in Folklore...considering there's literally a lyric in Cardigan about them). And 1989 is all just stuff that was released that year!? I'm wheezing right now!

*edit* If I had to pick things that would go in Debut, I think I'd pick a lot of the Pixar movies. All 4 Toy Story movies (but especially TS2). Luca. Up. Inside Out. I'd also put some of the early Disney channel shows like Lizzie Mcguire, That's So Raven, and Hannah Montana, obviously. Though Kim Possible would be in Fearless. It would be funny if they had made it a category and just put shows/movies with names for titles in it 😆

I’m watching Kung Fu Panda so obviously I’m getting emotional.
Tai Lung is such a wonderfully crafted villain thats so sympathetic be even so you can’t excuse everything that he’s done.
The animation is beautiful and so subtle and detailed especially in the scene when Shifu says that he’s sorry, that whole fight scene between Tai Lung and Shifu is amazing actually.
When I was younger I never really noticed it but Tigress gives us an explanation for almost her ENTIRE CHARACTER in one sentence when she’s telling Po about the history of Tai Lung, “Shifu loved Tai Lung like he’d never loved anyone before… or since.” And it never felt that heavy to me because little 6 year old me was always just like “haha panda make silly sound and face!!” right after.
Po’s self doubt and imposter syndrome is also something that’s more obvious to me now that I’m older and also so much more relatable. There’s something about him asking Shifu “how? How?” Over and over only being met with Shifu’s silence until finally he admits he doesn’t know how to turn him into the dragon warrior.
And then moments later Tigress flinging herself off the Jade Palace is just plain awesome.
Also, I’m a huge sucker for fight choreography and all three of the Kung Fu Panda movies have such awesome fight scenes. Also each character has a distinct way of fighting based on their size and species which is just such cool attention to detail.
I know everyone and their mother had talked about or at least knows how great these movies are but I need to put my two cents into everything so here it is.

Animal Star based on an unused design from the Art of Wish book.

Also being a furry artist, I couldn't pass on making anthro forms based on the two unused designs I like.

And my take on Star as a cat child inspired after Death from the Last Wish as an anthropomorphic wolf.

People shocked at the Hatbox ghost being the bad guy like the most major story about him is the urban legend he was too scary and gave someone a heart attack in the sixties. Now the effect works and the face is dialed down a bit and I think there’s been nothing but fanon for so long that it’s shocking people that some think he could be a bad guy?
Just to clarify, I’m not saying your wrong for having a kinder interpretation or even liking the character (I think everyone does) but you have to keep in mind it’s possible for others to have a more sinister interpretation. Also now that I think about it the heart attack legend may have shaped some of how his character works within the film- very major plot point stuff. That’s actually really cool.

You know adaptations are fun and I especially love to see retellings of the same story but not in a boring beat for beat live action of animated Disney movie way but in "hey, here's this thing you love, and we've told the same story with a similar theme and message but we've also added commentary on that theme and messages of our own and random cool shit that wasn't there the first time" and that's so cool tbh
Or like i picked a side character or other background thing or setting from this thing you love and completely expanded and played with it until its a new thing entirely. Here's backstory and character development no one asked for and it's great
This actually does happen with older stories. You can make Black Sails and Treasure Planet because Treasure Island is Old. But you can't play in the sandbox if the story is newer. No that sandbox is for some corporation, probably disney, and no one else.
So anyway Fuck copyright law and let more people make more random adaptations of stories. Let's all retell the same stories over and over in fresh ways. We're all meant to be playing in the same sandbox here. Let the stories be free. It's what God intended.

What Disney related things do you base your OCs on?
HELLOOO! Thank you for the question!!♡´・ᴗ・`♡🫶🫶
All of my OCs are not based on Disney, but they are based on a Thai literature piece called Ramakien! Ramakien is a Thai version of Ramayana (just in case any of you recognize this🕺)
Charin is based on Machanu, a half monkey (Yaksha) and a half mer!
Anan is based on the antagonist of the story; Thotsakan, who has 20 arms and 10 heads! (Also a Yaksha)
And if you’re counting the silhouette in my OC profile too, she’s not based on any Thai literature— but someone who I completely made up! She’ll be revealed when I announce my big project👀

The director of the Rey movie has the FUNNIEST opportunity to make it seem like they'll get bites of Reylo and really make Kylux canon via flashbacks or whatever. I think it'd be hilarious.

There's still one missing piece to the puzzle behind Magnifico's fall to darkness: the spellbook of dark magic. Where did it come from and why did Voland's Magic mirror slave face appear when Magnifico was sucked into the shattered staff's glass shards?
So, Voland’s face appeared because (in the DisneyVerse at least) he wrote the book, it’s his personal grimoire that contains his many spells and curses, maybe an odd prophecy or two, that has been probably stolen or passed down by evil magic user to evil magic user until it at last comes into Magnifico’s hands.
Not because he’s actually at the time seeking for evil magic, just magical knowledge in general. He recognizes it’s evil though and promptly locks it away…though there’s always something about it that does draw his attention, as indeed it does anyone with magical potential.
Like Sauron’s ring, it calls to those with the ability to use its power, eager to spread more chaos and despair. The words may be written in a lost tongue, but each person who reads it finds they can understand it, no use being an evil book if it’s only scholars who can be corrupted right?
Those who do not have magical ability or purer hearts are less susceptible to its immediate influence, but it’s full of plenty of dark tricks for them as well
Such as ensuring that they lose all hope that those who have been corrupted by the books influence ever come back to the light…

Holy shit dude, Peggy haters on this webbed site have the weirdest fucking takes
I mean honestly, talk about willfully ignoring canon to form your own (wrong) opinions about a character...

Listen I like black Ariel and black Tinkerbell conceptually and I'm a fantasy enjoyer so I don't necessarily think there's anything inherently "dehumanizing" about nonhuman fantasy races as in I don't have trouble relating to them or really see them as "other" when I'm watching/reading media they appear in.
That said I think it's real interesting that when Disney is deciding which characters get to be black this time around they made Belle and Cinderella who both are human with no qualifications throughout their movies white and then decided to racebend the mermaid and the fairy.
Again, not necessarily mad about Black Tink or Black Ariel. Just curious as to what goes into deciding which live action princesses are black and why.

Is there any disney princess who do you want to see as black ?
Ehhh how about we just get an accurate Tiana with beautiful dresses, cuz personally..never liked any of the princesses that much to wanna see them as black, I loved Rapunzel but honestly I like her how she is, she really doesn't need to be black ://
Legit the only princesses I cared about were Mulan, Jasmine, Rapunzel and Tiana ofc ofc <3

I only included the ones from the early 2000s because those are the only ones I remember (meaning they are the only ones worth remembering)
Few things
Does anyone remember the scene in Mermadia where Bibil eats those cookies? Because I have always wanted to try those cookies. They look amazing. And don't even get me started on the magical fruit. I would eat that all.
Magic of Pegasus (why is it not Magic of THE Pegasus) has the best dialogue of any movie ever.
Why is it called Barbie IN the Dancing Princesses? Was AND not a possibility?
Did anyone have the Nintendo Barbie the Island Princess game? It was literally the worst game ever, and I loved it.
OK, thanks
