HI CAN I ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT TAKASHI!?!!
I don’t even know what to ask, I just wanna know everything, but okay, so do Takashi and Bander ever go on crazy adventures and cause trouble or is Bander a responsible uncle? Does he get into trouble with Astro and Uran (probably Uran)? Omigosh and when did BJ tell Takashi about his namesake? And how did he feel when Mio joined the family? AND TRIO!?! What is Takashi like as a big brother?? I know you had snippets of them in your comics, but I’m just starving for info on this family

As much as I'd like to say that Bander is a responsible uncle that leaves the crazy adventures to the adults... yes, Takashi has been on many a crazy adventure with Bander and his own children. Takashi has been to space with him multiple times! One specific time I want to mention at some pont in the story is Black Jack bringing Pinoko and the kids to Bander's planet for the first time to finally meet his brother's adoptive family (he unfortunately didn't get to see Bander and Mimuru's wedding, since Bander didn't know that Black Jack was still alive then). Bander's adoptive parents knighted BJ there. Little Takashi thought it was the coolest thing in the world. His dad's a doctor AND a knight!!
Astro actually IS pretty responsible. Like you said, it's Uran you gotta worry about. Uran and Chi-tan, once Chi-tan gets his child body.
BJ probably first told Takashi abt the first Takashi when he was little, likely explaining the uneven tones of his face. As I'm sure you know, kids can ask mildly invasive questions like that lol.
Takashi is a great big brother! Mio was prob a bit of an abrupt change for him (how much abt the gestational carrier process can you explain to a 3-4 year old?) but he loved her from the start and always tried hard to be gentle w her. It helped him learn abt the differences between humans and robots! He loves Trio, too, even tho he wasn't able to be around for as much of Trio's early childhood bc of his schooling and early admittance to college. He still visits as much as he can, tho! Trio really looks up to his brother. Takashi's prob the most chill of his siblings. Trio is somewhere in the middle, and Mio is a firecracker like her mama!
Don't be embarrassed! My eyes LIT UP when I saw your ask! I'm always up to talk about Takashi and my Junior Jack stories! The fic is still in the works rn. I'm trying to make most chapters relatively self-contained like a lot of Tezuka's chapters were, and I've never really done a story like that before, so it's definitely a learning experience!

I know you said there isn’t an actual ship for Mio, but if you had to choose, who would be the best or most likely match for her?
Ooh, interesting question! While I still stand by my statement that I don't ship Mio with anyone, and she gives me a bit of aro/ace vibes, it'll be fun to see who she'll work well with.
She's a bit of a Nakamura, meaning I can ship her with like half the class and it'll lowkey make some sense.
Let's eliminate some people first:
Karma is definitely a nope. They are Pretty Much Done with each other. Maehara and Okajima are also no as Mio will just tease the hell out of them (womanizer and pervert). Hayami, Nagisa and Okuda are no- Mio is too chaotic for them. I also really can't picture her with Itona.
... So far, the most promising people are her friends- Nakamura, Hazama and Kimura.
The problem with Nakamura is that they're like casual friends. The type that makes jokes and does stupid shit and laugh together. Sorta like Nakamura and Karma. They'll make great friends and they'll get along perfectly, but I can't really picture them going serious. They'll announce that they're lowkey gay for each other and flirt and stuff, but it can't move on from that.
As for Hazama... it's actually pretty cute. Chaotic cheerful idiot and gloomy girl. They'll giggle over dark humour and curse people. They'll roast the hell out of Terasaka gang together. I can imagine Mio cuddling up next to Hazama and Hazama being like "shit what do". Mio probably finds Hazama cute and cooes over her probably to show affection AND be annoying. They'll be okay with each other.
And now for Kimura. One thing you should know about Mio is that she was created to be a : 1) magician 2) fun gal to be around and 3) a companion for Kimura. I literally looked at Kimura's relationships with the class and went "oh he needs a friend" so BAM here came Mio. Therefore, Mio's "best friend" will always be Kimura. I specifically added details for her to bond better with Kimura (kinesthetic learner, her mother was the police officer Kimura's dad molested, interest in crimes and heists, etc). Considering all this, and the fact that I literally made Mio for Kimura (platonically), Mio would work best romantically with Kimura. In theory. For her other friendships, Nakamura and Hazama, I looked at her personality and interests and decided these two would also go great with her. Kimura is the OG.
They're similar enough with their neverending energy and "YOLO" attitude, but Mio is slightly more assertive and can push Kimura to do stuff he's hesitant to do (like talking to his other classmates, assuming that he's not super close with them). Kimura can play "straight man" and hold Mio back. Besides, they have a lot of stuff to bond over. They understand each other. I feel like their dates (it feels wrong using this term because they're just friends) would basically be watching action movies and Mio offering sarcastic commentary. They'll probably be the type to hold hands in public, but in a lowkey way. Oh no, imagine Mio cheering for Kimura at races. Oh no, what if they go to first name basis? Kimura's name is freakin' Justice. I can hear Mio cackling (but she only makes fun of his name when she knows he's fine with it).
Also these two suck with words, physical touch is definitely their love language. Hypothetically, if they ever get to that, no kids. Kimura wants one, Mio doesn't, they compromise and don't have kids. Kimura ends becoming a great uncle for his brother's kids. Mio probably gets a cat or something and names it super weirdly in honour of Kimura. Wait, why am I thinking this far. I never really even thought of this before, lol.
... Oh no, I'm starting to ship them. Just a tiny bit. I definitely prefer them as just friends, though (like they are :D).
You know, when I first made this post, I thought I would be uncomfortable with imagining Mio in romantic scenarios. But it's actually interesting to explore her relationships in different ways. Thank you for prompting me to think about her, anon!

La Milan games week al suo secondo giorno di apertura ha già registrato un record. L’età media dei presenti non supera l’adolescenza.Una smisurata fiumana con migliaia di ragazzini e molti adulti,comunque in netta minoranza,hanno attraversato il corridoio centrale che porta ai padiglioni del Milan Games week. il numero di visitatori dovrebbe attestarsi intorno ai 140.000,lo scorso anno l’Aesvi,l’associazione che raggruppa gli attori del videogioco ne ha contati 130.000,ma la fiera quest’anno si tiene a Rho mentre l’ultima edizione è stata tenuta ancora al “Milanofieracity”.
Il calendario è molto ricco di conferenze,appuntamenti,dibattiti e game designer con ospiti internazionali: i youtuber sicuramente sono stati i più apprezzati nella kermesse di sabato,accolti da un orda di ragazzini “super scaldati” per i loro beniamini, che seguono quotidianamente in rete. Autografi e selfie hanno riempito le memorie dei telefonini allo stand”mates village”,stessi risultati per lo stand di radio 105 con Jack La Furia,Sergio Silvestre accolti e presentati,se ce ne era bisogno,dai dj della radio,della Pg arena,playstation e Xbox senza dimenticare l’assalto allo stand del “Game stop”. Ottime le performance dello stand dedicato all’informatica. La parte sicuramente più seria della fiera è dedicata agli appuntamenti e ai convegni a partire da venerdì ,giorno di inaugurazione della mostra fieristica.
Tim Schafer, Presidente e CEO di Double Fine Productions,per la prima volta in pubblico in Italia, ha inaugurato la Milan Games Week 2017.
Tim Schafer:Project Leader in LucasArts Entertainment Company, ha contribuito alla realizzazione di Day of the Tentacle e supportato,sceneggiatore e assistant designer, The Secret of Monkey Island 1 & 2.
Double Fine Productions ha prodotto: Psychonauts, Brütal Legend, Costume Quest, Stacking, Iron Brigade, Kinect Party e The Cave tutti titoli acclamati dalla critica.
Gli ospiti internazionali Shigeri Ohmori e Kazumasa Iwao di Game Freak parteciperanno alla manifestazione.Entrambi in Game Freak hanno prodotto diversi titoli della la serie Pokèmon; producer di Pokèmon Ultra Sole e Pokèmon Ultra Luna. L’area dedicata ai bambini, ai ragazzi e ai genitori che si alterneranno in attività per l’esplorazione del mondo della programmazione e della robotica,con l’uso dei robot Ubtech, per sviluppare le competenze e la creatività dei più piccoli.
L’Ordine degli Psicologi della Lombardia offrirà un palinsesto giornaliero con laboratori e seminari per ragazzi. Ogni seminario durerà 45 minuti con il tema dal titolo:“Avatar: chi è il mio personaggio?”
La Milan games week si concluderà Domenica 1 ottobre e il tema sarà “Video giochi in Realtà Virtuale: l’esperienza del giocatore e le innovazioni per il benessere”

A few of you seem to be interested in my OC Mio. So I did this OC fic instead of writing Which Partner... yeah. I have no self control.

Mio stared at the huge onigiri laying innocently in front of her.
Karma’s cacophonous cackles rang through the classroom. “Oy, Hikage, you know you can back out any second now,” he teased her, a wicked smirk on his face.
“I'm going to eat this,” Mio murmured savagely, glaring daggers at the offending onigiri.
Mio had been imitating Karma and his mannerisms for fun, but she'd went a bit too overboard and angered Karma. Karma, being the malicious devil he was, challenged Mio to a bet. Mio brashly agreed, and to her severe humiliation, she lost the bet. And now she had had to eat a spiced onigiri filled with wasabi. Technically, she could refuse (read: chicken out), but she didn't want her reputation to be damaged further. And besides, Karma’s smug face was really pissing her off.
“You deserve this,” Kataoka had just commented when Mio talked about it.
Nakamura casually leaned against Mio’s desk, observing the onigiri with interest. “Come on, a little wasabi can't bother our ruthless Mio-chan, right?”
Kimura, one of Mio’s best friends, happened to be watching. Upon seeing a uncharacteristic waver in Mio’s eyes, and the way her hand shook slightly, he began to wonder if the daring Mio was actually afraid of spicy food. After all, he'd never seen her eat anything remotely spicy. She even had some reservations when Kimura offered her his mom’s famous homemade curry.
So that's how this girl can be defeated… using wasabi.
“Hikage, don't force yourself if you're not up to it,” Kimura called, unusual worry for his friend bubbling inside him.
“Oooh,” Karma and Maehara drawled. They had taken up a habit of wolf-whistling every time Kimura and Mio talked, which was seriously annoying Kimura.
Mio shook her head stubbornly. “Don't worry, Kimura! I will finish this onigiri.” She grabbed a water bottle, and plopped it on her desk with unnecessary force.
“I. Am. Ready,” Mio announced, face stiffening with determination. Nakamura, Karma, and Maehara clapped boisterously and cheered her on.
“... If you say so.” Kimura sweatdropped.
Mio could feel the eyes of the class on her. She’d always been so cool and casual in front of her classmates; she couldn't afford to panic now. Her hand reached out for the onigiri, and gripped it firmly.
Jeez, that Karma had to make it plus-sized too… and he knows my favourite food is onigiri. He'd gone so far on this personal attack!
Squeezing her eyes shut, Mio slowly lifted the dreaded onigiri to her mouth. When it was around halfway there, Mio thought “fuck it”, stuffed the onigiri in her mouth, and chomped down. It wasn't like she had anything more to lose.
“Mio-chan!” Nakamura exclaimed.
For a single, shining moment, Mio could taste the gorgeous, glutinous grains of rice, which lured her in a false sense of security-
Then pain abruptly invaded Mio’s senses. She coughed, instinctively whipping the onigiri away. Her tongue was burning and sizzling, and her mouth and eyes watered. Soon, her throat began to feel like it was on fire. She blindly grabbed her water bottle and chugged half of its contents down.
“Wow…” her classmates gaped, equal parts horrified, amused, and in awe.
“Gah!” Mio burst out, her tongue dangling out, which made her look like a dog. “The actual fuck-”
“Language!” Kataoka hollered from the other side of the room.
“Hikage, you okay?” Maehara approached her and asked.
“If you can't do it, it's okay too!” Nakamura said.
“Your face is all red,” Hazama commented idly.
“Oy!” Kimura barked upon seeing the classmates crowding around his friend. “Give her some space! Hikage, don't do anything stupid!”
“Ha…” Mio wiped a few tears from her eyes. “Kimura’s finally acting like a police officer… so cool… so full of authority…”
“Hey, why did you add that ‘finally’?” Kimura cried, eyebrows pinched together. “And I was actually concerned about you!”
(Kimura usually didn't mind Mio’s jokes, but maybe seeing her so affected by wasabi of all things made Kimura a little touchy. At least he could see the wasabi hadn't killed Mio’s sassy brain.)
“Eat it slowly, will you? No one wants you to choke and die,” Hazama remarked bluntly.
Maehara coughed. “Let's kill Korosensei using a wasabi-filled onigiri.”
“Very encouraging, Hazama-chan.” Mio rolled her eyes. The girl resolved to finish this cursed onigiri as quickly as possible, or else she would prolong her suffering. She took the onigiri again and braced herself for the second assault-
“I'm going to get some water!” Kimura yelled. He grabbed Mio’s water bottle and zoomed to the water fountain outside. The other students felt a sudden breeze whoosh past them as Kimura dashed away. The panting boy ran back to the classroom, where Mio was furiously chomping rice and wasabi in her mouth. A red flush began to fill her cheeks, and he could see what suspiciously looked like moisture in her eyes.
“Take it easy, Mio-chan.” Nakamura cheerily wiped the sweat from Mio’s face.
“You're doing great, and Karma is a douchebag.” Hazama flipped through a book on curses.
Karma’s mercury eyes were dancing with mischief. “This wouldn't have happened if you hadn't had made so much fun of me,” he drawled.
Mio snatched the water bottle from Kimura, and drank it as if it was her lifeline (it probably was). The cool liquid ran down her throat, soothing her tingling tongue. “Kimura, you're a lifesaver,” she mumbled after a long drink. “I love you.”
Even though Kimura knew it didn't mean anything, hearing the words “I love you” still made his heart skip a beat. Which was really weird, because Mio was like a wacky sister to him.
“I'm sorry I had to make you go through this." Mio sent Kimura an apologetic glance. “It'll hopefully get better from now on.”
“Sorry to burst your bubble, but it'll probably feel worse and worse until you desperately crave the sweet release of death,” Hazama said. “Just trying to mentally prepare you.”
Throughout the next ten minutes, Mio did her best to cram the wasabi onigiri down her stomach, while Kimura became a delivery boy, and made countless trips to the water fountain and back to bring cold water. The other students were all yelling and cheering, their voices growing greater with every bite she finished.
“You're almost done!” Nakamura’s hands tightly gripped Mio’s desk, her baby blue eyes shimmering with anticipation.
“Not to sound dramatic, but I want to fucking die.” Mio’s speech was slurred due to the intense sensations her tongue was experiencing. She coughed loudly, and every hot breath that escaped her lips was a torture to her mouth. Her tired eyes found the very last piece of onigiri, and she found she had no strength or motivation to move.
“G-go for it!” Kimura’s red forehead was dotted with beads of sweat, and he solidly placed the water bottle besides Mio. He then bended and placed his palms on his knees.
Mio felt sorry for Kimura. He didn't have to do so much for her, especially when he wasn’t involved. But she could hardly form a sentence to convey that.
The class’s cheers crescendoed into a defeating roar as Mio gingerly picked up the mixture of rice and wasabi. Her lips parted and with magical resolve, she put it in her mouth and chewed. After what felt like a century, she swallowed.
“I… finished?” she muttered, dazed.
“HOORAY!” Nakamura flung her arms in the air. “Mio-chan! Mio-chan!”
Kimura practically shoved the water bottle in her face. “Drink th-this.”
Mio’s face was as red as a tomato, and strands of hair were plastered to her sweaty forehead. She gladly took the bottle.
“I don't want to eat an onigiri ever again,” Mio mumbled. “I'm so done.”
“But Mio-chan, your favourite food is onigiri!”
Mio slumped over her desk, red cheeks squishing against the surface. “I've been defeated…” Her voice was unusually soft.
Maehara and Okajima watched the girl with interest. “Is it just me, but Hikage… without her mean words… looks pretty cute now…”
That irritated Mio. “Oy, you boys-” she started to say, but broke into a coughing fit. Nakamura thumped on her back with much gusto.
Kimura himself was hot and tired after all that running. He stumbled to a nearby seat, not caring whose it was.
“Kimura-chan!”
Kimura’s head immediately snapped up, because there was only one person he knew that would call him with the suffix “chan”.
Kurahashi bounded over, a carton of apple juice in her hand. The cute smile on her face was dazzling Kimura.
“Kimura-chan worked really hard today!” Kurahashi sang. “Here, take this juice to replenish your energy!”
Kimura’s eyes widened. “E-eh? I-I-I can't d-do that-” he stuttered.
He was too late, and Kurahashi had already pressed the carton in his hands. “Kimura-chan was really cool just now~~”
Pink dotted Kimura’s cheeks, and he scratched his head sheepishly. “Ah, really?” the flattered boy laughed.
As Kimura happily sipped his apple juice, Mio said, “Thanks for helping me, Kimura. You didn't have to do that. It was all my fault.”
“No problem. What are friends for?” he flashed Mio a grin.
“Ah, you two must be exhausted.”
Kimura and Mio tilted their head to see the class mom Hara with a placid smile. She was holding an onigiri.
The old Mio would've cheered loudly and eaten the onigiri in a view bites, but now she just wanted to vomit.
“I can't have you hating onigiri for the rest of your life, so I saved one from lunch for you. I guarantee it tastes delicious,” Hara said.
“... You don't have to…” Mio was so moved, tears began to form in her eyes.
Hara took out a pair of chopsticks and divided the onigiri in two. “Here, take half too, Kimura. You need it.”
Kimura and Mio were shocked by Hara’s kindness, but they couldn't refuse.
“T-thank you, Hara-san,” Kimura looked at her gratefully. He poked Mio in the side. “Hey, say thank you too!”
“Thank you…”
The class watched as the duo munched on Hara’s onigiri, while Hara petted their heads in a motherly way.
“This onigiri… is a gift from God,” Mio announced, grains of rice on her face. “It has restored my faith in humanity. Hara, I am forever in your debt. ”
“Don't talk with your mouth full!” Kataoka reminded.
Hara just chuckled. “Now, Mio, don't be so risky anymore, okay? People may take revenge, and you may suffer.”
“Yeah, that's true,” Karma added, but from his facial expression, everyone could see clearly he was still mad at Mio. Mio noticed his look, and glared at him.
“I'm not forgiving you, red feathered dude,” Mio said icily.
“Good to know. I'm not forgiving you either.” Karma idly played with his rubber knife, but his bloodlust was obvious.
“You are playing a very dangerous game here,” Hazama murmured in her ear.
“Well,” Mio yawned. “That's the cost of having a fun life.”

Hikage Mio (my OC) + Relationships
(Note: not supposed to be shipped with anyone but feel free if you want to)
Kimura Justice (addressed as Kimura):
Mio's mother is a police officer, while Kimura's father is a higher ranked police officer. A bit before the two went to 3-E, Kimura's father got drunk and sexually harassed Mio's mother. This created quite a scandal, and the Kimura name was tainted. Kimura became even more self conscious of both his given name and family name. Mio knows Kimura is in her class, and while she still has some reservations about his father, she decides to treat Kimura as a normal classmate.
They properly met when Karasuma grouped them together. Mio and Kimura both have light and agile bodies, but Kimura's agility lays in his feet while Mio's agility lays in her hands. Karasuma paired them up in hopes they can learn from each other (so at least one of them can have both agile hands + feet). They hit off and become friends.
Kimura used to be terrified that Mio would make fun of his name, but she doesn't mention it. She does comment on his "spiky porcupine hair".
Mio is loud and assertive, and often pushes Kimura around. Sometimes he has to pull her back from being too reckless. She also tries to not so subtly matchmake him with Kurahashi after discovering his crush.
Kimura is one of the few people that Mio talks to about criminology. Kimura, who came from a family of police officers (and aspires to be one), also has a certain degree of interest in criminology. When talking about fictional crimes, Mio tends to support the criminals and Kimura tends to support the people catching the criminals.
Mio has wondered if she could become a pickpocket, and Kimura's reply is, "If you do that, I'll catch you when I become a policeman."
Because of the time they spend together, the class (which contains a lot of trashy shippers) have speculations on their relationship, which makes Kimura a little flustered. Mio does not care.
"Kimura, just let them talk. Soon they'll find better things to do."
Hazama Kirara (addressed as Hazama-chan):
She's surprisingly good friends with Hazama. They like each other's insults and personalities, and occasionally recommend books. Sometimes Mio wonders if Hazama can really curse (ie. do real magic) unlike her fake tricks. They enjoy making quips about Korosensei.
Hazama has a habit of telling Mio about her characters, and Mio does her best to act them out to give Hazama a more solid idea of her characters.
Hazama invited Mio to Group 3 during the Kyoto School Trip. The two had a great time making fun of the Terasaka Gang.
Nakamura Rio (addressed as Rio-chan):
They are both reckless and outgoing, so they get along well. Nakamura often tries to see through Mio's magic tricks. Nakamura ends up as a test subject for Mio, who uses Nakamura's intelligence to see if her trick can be executed without being revealed.
Mio is a fan of the Ocean's series due to it being about heists, and Nakamura likes it due to its ensemble cast.
Kataoka Megu (addressed as Kataoka-san):
Kataoka initially disapproves of Mio due to her tendency to make blunt comments about others. As a result, they act cold to each other. This is why Mio joins Hazama's group instead of her good friend Kimura's during the Kyoto trip. Kataoka talks to her later, and Mio admits her mistakes and tries to change with the help of Korosensei and her classmates. They now share a civil relationship, although Mio still calls her with the suffix "san" for good measure.
Kataoka thinks Mio should be more aware of herself because Mio tends to forget she's wearing a skirt.
"HIKAGE-SAN YOUR UNDERWEAR IS SHOWING AGAIN THIS IS THE FIFTH TIME THIS MONTH."
Chiba Ryuunosuke (addressed as Chiba):
Chiba used to be afraid of Mio and Hazama due to their blunt remarks. He hopes they will not talk about him. The most Mio has ever said about Chiba is his "emo look".
