“Do you mind?” Steven asked, sifting through some VHS tapes he had in a box by the TV. You shook your head.

“As long as I get to hold you in my arms, I don’t care what some old British narrator is going to be rambling about in a nature doc.” You teased, watching him select a tape and kneel over to put it into the TV. It slid in with a click, and with a series of groans and whirs from the TV the title screen appeared. Steven returned to your side on the couch while you clicked Play on the remote.

Tonight was going to be a slow evening. It was just what Steven needed, and just what you wanted.

Somewhere in the introduction to the documentary-something about livestock in Ancient Egypt-Steven slumped over onto your shoulder. Somewhere in the middle of the documentary-something about, well, you didn’t care at this point-You laid down on the couch. And eventually, at the end of the documentary, Steven was laying atop you on the couch. You held him there securely with your arms wrapped around him, kissing the top of his head every now and again.

As your interest waned so did the documentary, finishing with some rolling credits and the production names, leading to the black screen. You could see your reflection in it, of Steven’s back against your chest as you played with his hair, his hands fidgeting with the hem of his shirt.

“Wow, that was fascinating,” Steven remarked. You hummed in agreement.

“Yeah, I liked the part when your head hit my shoulder.”

“I meant the movie.”

“I know, Steven.”

He smiled as you two laid there, enjoying the rising and falling of your chest in unison with his. His head tilted to wherever your hand was as you played with his hair, and everything felt right.

“Rough day, huh?” You asked rhetorically, but he nodded nonetheless.

“The voice has only been getting louder,” Steven admitted.

“Well then tell the voice I’ll kick his ass.” You teased, one of your hands tracing along his arm. You both knew it didn’t work like that, but Steven smiled at your kind words either way.

The hand on his arm relocated itself onto his abdomen, tracing along the hem of his shirt. Steven shifted, your hand moving along with him and briefly grazing below his stomach. He drew in a sharp breath and settled his movements. You returned your hand to where it was when he reacted so beautifully, and he stifled a whimper in his throat, progressively getting drier as your hand reached lower.

“How about I get rid of some of your tension from today? Would you like that, pretty boy?” You whispered against his ear. He shivered and nodded.

“Yeah, I’d like that, please,”

You bit your lip when he said that. “Say that again.” You commanded.

“Please.”

“Yeah, just like that.” You sighed as you undid his belt, your hands progressively getting shakier in anticipation. You steeled yourself to calm down.

“Please, please touch me.”

Oh, God. The Behind the Scenes of Marvel Streaming Productions is a nightmare. Marvel Studios (not the same division that ran Marvel TV) tried to re-invent the wheel:

They did away with 'showrunners' and only hired Head writers

And then apparently did away with it, too because then Marvel fired the writers and let the Directors have a say.

And then didn't stick with that too, and apparently just went on with the philosophy that they can fix it 'in post'

Some Quotes from this:

Those who work with Marvel on the TV side have complained of a lack of central vision that has, according to sources, begun to afflict the studio’s shows with creative differences and tension. “TV is a writer-driven medium,” says one insider familiar with the Marvel process. “Marvel is a Marvel-driven medium.” On the Oscar Isaac starrer Moon Knight, show creator and writer Jeremy Slater quit and director Mohamed Diab took the reins. Jessica Gao developed and wrote She-Hulk: Attorney at Law but was sidelined once director Kat Coiro came on board. Production was challenging, with COVID hitting cast and crew, and Gao was brought back to oversee postproduction, a typical showrunner duty, but it’s the rare Marvel head writer who has such oversight.

And then it went overboard in Secret Invasion -- Just in case we're all wondering why it was so bad? It's because of all the behind-the-scenes shenanigans.

--during the pandemic, Marvel stepped outside its usual staffing approach and brought in outside execs after years of internally promoting creatives who had been sufficiently trained in the Marvel method. This change was felt most severely on Secret Invasion, the Samuel L. Jackson-led thriller that stands as Marvel’s worst-reviewed series. Kyle Bradstreet, a writer and executive producer on USA Network Emmy winner Mr. Robot, had been working on the scripts for Secret Invasion for about a year when he was fired after Marvel decided on a different direction. Enter new writer Brian Tucker, who penned the crime thriller Broken City. Thomas Bezucha, who helmed the thriller Let Him Go, and Ali Selim, who worked on Hulu’s 9/11 drama The Looming Tower, were on board as directors and to help crack the story. So far, so normal, at least by Marvel’s creative development standards. Details are murky, but what happened next, in the summer of 2022, debilitated the production as factions became entrenched and leaders vied for supremacy during Secret Invasion’s preproduction in London. “It was weeks of people not getting along, and it erupted,” says an insider. Marvel declined to directly comment on the matter.

By early September, a good portion of the Invasion team had been replaced, with new line producers, unit production managers and assistant directors. And Bezucha, who was supposed to direct three episodes, left the show because of new scheduling conflicts. The Marvel executive overseeing the show, Chris Gary, was reassigned and, according to sources, is expected to depart Marvel when his contract is up at the end of the year.

NO WONDER SECRET INVASION WAS A MESS.

As it moves forward, Marvel is making concrete changes in how it makes TV. It now has plans to hire showrunners. Gao’s postproduction work on She-Hulk helped Marvel see that it would be helpful for its shows to have a creative throughline from start to finish. “It’s a term we’ve not only grown comfortable with but also learned to embrace,” says Winderbaum of showrunners and Marvel TV’s intention to hire them. The studio also plans on having full-time TV execs, rather than having executives straddle both television and film.

There's also a reason why Wandavision was so good-- because it had one singular vision from start to finish -- Jac Schaffer and Elizabeth Olsen's vision.

It also is revamping its development process. Showrunners will write pilots and show bibles.

Marvel trying to reinvent the wheel AND THEN FAILING SPECTACULARLY.

And then realizing there's a reason why Showrunners exist, and writer's rooms, show bibles, and even pilots.

I can't even.

Also, let's be clear -- Disney - Marvel used 'Headwriter' and not 'Showrunner' for corporate greed reasons, and I'm glad WGA got a fair deal because fuck that 'Headwriter' nonsense.

The following progressive of My Batman AU resembles some new origin stories and new accomplishments between the DC Universe.

Bio: Edward's childhood wasn't all that great, His father hated him, always called him a moron. This lead to prove into proving to his father wrong by entering a $50 dollar earing contest. He won but unfortunately this lead to Edwards father accusing him of cheating and beat him for lying. Over the next few year, he grew up to be a F.B.I agent secretly working for Commissioner Lobe.

Oswald then secretly goes to Commissioner Lobe to hire one of his best F.B.I Agents to capture Batman was Edward Nygma. Penguin showed Edward that Batman existed and knows what the drugs come from and sold to Falcones' men. This gives Edward an idea and would do it with his favorite games as he said all he ever needs is a few hostages and Thugs. “And as right now Agent Nygma has retired, you can call me, The Riddler!” While Batman is on his night potrall in Gotham, He suddenly gets a hacking call from Riddler and challenges him to solve his puzzles and riddles. Batman dosn’t take him seriously at first, Riddler reveals he has kidnapped victims and threatens to kill them if he doesn't play along. Batman reached the first victim to save then get ambushed by a group of thugs. After defeating them, Batman interrogates the thug telling what Riddler is. Then the thug explains that at the end of each crime, he left a riddle at its place. By using his batcomputer, and his own detective skills, Batman managed to solve the riddles and save only half the hostages. Then it seemed to reveal a location where half of the hostages were in an abandoned maze, where Riddler gives an upgrade to it. Batman then gets to the Maze to encounter The Riddler in person *wearing his suit, Question Mark on Bowler hat and Tie and a question mark cane* Riddler then challenged the Dark Knight to survive his deadly challenge. Batman was able to solve all the riddles and save the hostages. Riddler admits he was working for Penguin and turned himself in without a fight.

But luckily later he was back on the streets ether before and after Dr Deaths defeat, placing Riddles and Puzzles to show him that his crimes were the opportunity to claim his supremacy to all of Gotham. But thanks to Batman involving his plans, Each of Riddlers operations were stopped by Batman. He had a big rivalry with The Joker because he proven to be jealous from the fact that he was supposed to be Batman’s greatest enemy. This leads up to an full out war between him and The Joker. His most operations of the war between violence and impossible riddles. He even come to close into killing Kite-Man’s son over information of The Joker. After the war was over and transferred to Arkham with the other villains, He continues his crimes with Riddles to prove his superiority.
