Ranking Alice Oseman books based on the ones I’ve read so far:

(Before anyone gets mad this is MY opinion, you can choose to read it or ignore it 🕺)

1. Radio Silence - it was just absolutely 10/10 I loved the characters and story, Aled and Frances are my beloveds. The fact this book acknowledged that mothers can be toxic terrible people to their children really just made it stand out to me. There’s so many other crucial things it covers as well but I’ll talk about it in another post

2. Nick and Charlie - it was an emotional rollercoaster and I absolutely loved it, painful to read in the best of ways, it’s a shorter story so it mainly focuses on the difficulties of long distance and being in a relationship in general, it really illustrates the importance of communication.

3. Heartstopper - I know this is nick and Charlie’s origins and all that but I’m sorry, the other books resonated with me more? I know it still goes into very important topics, and I love the story but personally I still prefer the other two above it

4.Loveless - originally i was really excited to read this because it talks about discovering your sexuality, but it was honestly a major let down. The main character Georgia Warr managed to make the worst choices pretty much every time, to give two key examples, she decided to date her friend knowing full well she didn’t like him in a romantic sense and of course that didn’t end well, and then in the second case she decided to kiss a girl, fully knowing her best friend had a crush on said girl. Im honestly surprised they forgave her. I ended up just reading it for the side characters.

Sunil Jha is the friend and college parent of Georgia Warr in the novel Loveless. They are homoromantic asexual and non-binary and have no relationship in the novel. They are the president of the Pride Soc, play cello, and eventually join the Shakespeare Soc.
