can I share something that might be an unpopular opinion? is this a safe space?

so obvs The Lawsuit™️ gets talked about all the time. and while I understand Buck’s thinking… do I necessarily agree a whole lawsuit was the way to go? depends on the day. but! what I wanna know that I don’t see a ton of discourse about, is do we think Buck forgave Bobby too quickly with the treatment he gave post-lawsuit (and the treatment that led to the lawsuit in the first place tbh)?

the whole reason the lawsuit happened is because of what Buck essentially considered as Bobby’s betrayal. we know about the Divorce Era with Eddie that happened BECAUSE OF the lawsuit, we know Hen was the only one to properly welcome Buck back with a cupcake and not really hold the lawsuit against him, but we also know Bobby was still kind of a d!ck and influenced the behaviors of the rest of the 118 after the lawsuit.

we really just see Buck at the hospital after getting checked out because he cut his arm saving those people on Halloween, and Bobby showing up and being like, ‘hm, maybe you are ready to come back’ and Buck is like ‘wanna get breakfast’ 🤨

am I the only one that kind of wishes Buck like. acknowledged Bobby’s behavior? like I get he was just so grateful to have it all over, to be back to properly working etc. but NOTHING?! I mean maybe he felt so bad about the lawsuit he didn’t care? Idk someone talk this out with me

Crap crap crap crap. Oh she was definitely going to be late. Like, super late. She'd been getting some last minute training in with the help of some local Pokemon and completely lost track of time.

But it was fine, it was fine. She had Latias and Latias was fast. Still, she couldn't help but mutter "c'mon, c'mon." under her breath as they flew.

"You seem tense, Maresy." Latias said in her head. Most people would have gotten a snarl for calling her that but Latias was one of the few people who got nickname privileges.

"Course I'm tense." Mare replied. "I don't wanna be late. That'd be embarrassing. Plus, what if this is the last time I ever get to battle her. Renee seems pretty convinced she's gonna vanish any day now."

"Relax." Latias said flippantly. "I'll get you there on time. I always do." Mare couldn't see it but the Eon Pokemon winked.

Sure enough, Latias was right. They arrived right on time. Say what you will, Latias was nothing if not punctual. Unlike last time, where Mare had done a dramatic leap, Latias simply landed, er, hovered and Mare slid off her. Once Mare was on the ground, Latias put on her human illusion.

"I'm here!" Mare declared as if that wasn't obvious. "I hope you don't mind, but Latias wants to watch this one."

“Katniss, would you please come out of there?” Peeta calls, leaning on his forearm crutch and knocking on their bathroom door.

“No!” she shouts. “Go away, Peeta!”

“It’s really not that big of a deal,” he tries to soothe, but he knows he’s failing because he’s trying so hard not to laugh. “It’s not like you did it on purpose.”

The door flies open and he quickly tries to wipe the amusement off his face. Her narrowed eyes and deepening scowl tell him that he’s definitely failing.

“Easy for you to say. You’re not the one who farted in the middle of an orgasm!”

“I barely even felt it,” he says and then cracks with a short laugh before managing to get the rest out. “Even if I definitely smelled it.”

“Argh!” she shouts and slams the door in his face again. He takes a moment to get his laughter under control. Trying to understand how embarrassed Katniss probably is.

“Besides,” he says and knocks softly on the door again. “I’m choosing to take it as a compliment.”

Only she’s not entirely infuriated. Her lips are twitching. Peeta grins and wraps his arms around her waist, peering up at her innocently as he can.

“Alright, I take it back. But I’m never lighting romantic candles for us again. Wouldn’t want your flatulence causing our sex to literally send the room up in flames.”

Arven was pretty sure something was wrong when he woke up from his impromptu nap.

Firstly, he’s not in his dorm. He was fairly certain that’s where he fell asleep.

Secondly, he’s in a bush.

He abruptly sat up, confused out of his mind. After a quick glance around, Arven realized he was in Mesagoza. But how? He’d never sleepwalked before.

He stood, glancing at the school. The familiar purple was a comforting si- wait. Orange? That definitely wasn’t there before. How long had he been out??

He stood and walked through the plaza, checking his pockets. All the pokeballs were there, and his phone, but that was along with a stupid amount of pink and blue glitter. What kind of stupid prank was this?

In his confusion, he bumped into someone. “Oh shi- I’m so sorry.” He dusted off the small amount of glitter that got on his vest, thinking to himself what a good question would be. He suddenly remembered that time ran differently in the separate universes, “Er, what year is it?”

hey! I agree with every word of yours. I’m learning so much from ipk and I absolutely love loving the show! And regarding Arnav, I went from being like “this dude’s a total jerk” to being absolutely smitten by him. His character arc is just mind blowing. I think I genuinely started finding him attractive AFTER he started to fall for Khushi, when he was no longer denying it or was confused about it. Before that, he was just a really good looking guy with an asshole-ish personality, but it kind of justified who he was, so no complaints here. I liked that he had layers. I must say Barun killed this role. And it amazes me how we cannot see even one single speck of Arnav Singh Raizaada in Barun Sobti off-screen (the little fun interviews during the shoot) This kind of points out his unbelievable acting caliber, and how brilliantly he portrayed this role of a “heavy-duty complicated” man, despite being absolutely NOTHING like him in real life. Sanaya’s real life personality does reflect a hint of Khushi though, and I love her for it. She radiates such positive and fun energy!

I'm glad you resonated with my thoughts! Arnav has been a favorite of man in the sense of he was written outside the template of the nice guy, had a compelling past and was set up as a villain/anti-hero.

He dehumanizes people beyond a certain economical strata and the show always shows how screwed up he is.

We are meant to dislike him, and I think that's the aspect I like the most. The show sells Arnav as rich, powerful and despite good motivations - he isn't just a good person.

Until he is.

Barun is really good in playing understated characters. He has shined in characters like Arnav (it's role where he legit learned and refined his acting skills - and benefitted from having solid co actors too - especially Sanaya), Arjun, Yusuf, the dude in Kohrra and so on.

In short when he's convinced of a character - he's really good in wearing the skin of the character.

Sanaya legit made Khushi likeable. And definitely she vibed with Khushi's energy post playing Gunjan, who was very different from Sanaya's core personality.

Some actors have an undertone and they shine when placed close to it, and some actors are really good in switching between themselves and their characters.
