A Guide to Choosing the Right Deer Hunt Texas Outfitters
Embarking on a deer hunting adventure in Texas is an exhilarating experience, and choosing the right outfitter is crucial to ensuring a successful and enjoyable hunt. With numerous outfitters to consider, each offering unique experiences, accommodations, and services, it's essential to navigate the options carefully. In this guide, we'll explore key considerations to help you choose the right deer hunt Texas outfitters wilderness adventure.
Tumblr media
Define Your Hunting Goals
Start by clarifying your hunting goals. Are you seeking a trophy buck, or is the overall experience and camaraderie equally important? Different outfitters may specialize in specific aspects of deer hunting, so having clear goals will help narrow down your options.
Research Outfitter Reputations
Conduct thorough research on outfitters by reading reviews, testimonials, and online forums. Reputable outfitters will have positive feedback from satisfied hunters, and any concerns or issues should be addressed promptly. Pay attention to outfitters with a long-standing reputation for delivering successful and ethical hunts.
Evaluate Hunting Packages
Examine the hunting packages offered by outfitters. Consider factors such as the duration of the hunt, the type of accommodation provided, the number of hunting days, and the inclusion of amenities. Ensure that the package aligns with your preferences and budget while providing the hunting experience you desire.
Expertise of Guides and Staff
The expertise of guides and staff significantly influences the success of your deer hunt trip. Look for outfitters with knowledgeable and experienced guides who understand the local terrain, deer behavior, and hunting techniques. Professional and attentive staff contribute to a positive overall experience.
Access to Prime Hunting Grounds
The location of hunting grounds plays a pivotal role in the success of your hunt. Opt for outfitters with access to prime hunting areas known for their deer populations. Texas is vast and diverse, offering different landscapes, so choose an outfitter with access to the type of terrain you prefer, whether it's dense forests, open plains, or a mix of both.
Transparent Pricing and Policies
Choose an outfitter with transparent pricing and clear policies. Understanding the costs involved, including any additional fees, will help you plan your budget effectively. Additionally, review cancellation policies, licensing requirements, and any other relevant terms to avoid surprises later on.
Personalized Services and Attention
Personalized services can greatly enhance your hunting experience. Outfitters that offer a more tailored and personalized approach, taking into account your specific needs and preferences, often result in a more memorable and enjoyable hunt.
Visit the Outfitter if Possible
Whenever feasible, visit the outfitter's facilities or attend hunting expos where they may have a presence. Meeting the outfitter in person provides valuable insights into their operation, the quality of their equipment, and the overall atmosphere of the hunting experience they offer.

It's still absolutely surreal to see Sonic dressed as a Scout. I think that the first time I saw it, it scared me, as I'd never really seen something so close to home portrayed in larger media. A lot of popular games and shows even back then were from America, Canada, Australia, Japan, so on so forth. I always manage to forget that StC is British, until I see something so stinkingly Brit that it knocks my socks off.

The dangers of Whitewater Kayaking were many. But he never realized that ending up naked would be one of them... The last waterfall had seen him tip over and he had ended up swimming the rapids.
And in the process he had lost his only piece of clothing!!! Search all they might, no one was able to find his swimsuit in the dark water. He would have to continue au naturale...
So with an all over body blush, he retrieved his kayak and proceeded to join the rest of the group. They were open top kayaks so his cock was in view of everyone who looked and he couldn't even cover up while paddling!!?!
The guided trip was only half way over and they still had a bus ride back to the Outfitters! This was going to be a long and embarrassing day...
And it would only get worse once the embarrassment caused him to get an erection in front of everyone!! And then to have his naked body captured on film to be used in the instructional videos for future groups to watch... At least the water was warm that day....

Hi anon! I made a Violet-inspired gift guide last year (linked here!), but here's a couple more ideas (i might repeat a few on accident lol).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Things Violet would want for Christmas:
Room decor:
a cd / cassette / record player
a little trinket dish
posters
a tiffany lamp, rock salt lamp, or fairy lights
scented candles or candle sticks
a decorative boho-style rug
any kind of furniture for her room (shelves, a pouf, desk chair, etc)
a chalkboard (if she didn't already have one)
Fashion:
urban outfitter's tights and socks (or clothes in general)
rings, necklaces, or earrings
dr. marten's boots, mary janes, or oxfords
band tees
scarves
a pork pie hat, beanie, or any other hats
a new bag/wallet
Miscellaneous:
new books
a camera of some kind
any makeup or skincare products
a chess board / board games
more cd cases for the cds she burns
pins or patches
money, gift cards, and concert tickets
ways to listen to music; new headphones, a speaker, an ipod, etc.
cd or vinyl storage/shelves
Realistically, I don't think Violet would ask for much (if anything!), but if she was gifted any of these things, she'd probably be really appreciative! These are more just Violet-inspired gift ideas. I hope this can help out <3! Happy Holidays :)

Cal Kestis headcanons, apropos of nothing:
He crash-landed in the wastes of Bracca after Order 66. Dazed and wounded, his connection to the Force suddenly painful and frightening for the first time in his life, he tried to bury Master Topal — but he couldn’t lift his Lasat master from the escape pod, nor effectively use the Force to hide the pod with stones from the wastes. He was forced to abandon his master again, a guilt he carried with him for many years.
He found his way to the Mining Guild outpost more or less by luck. The Force guided him with a vision of sparks and metal, but he could not see it more clearly, relying more on a feeling than any sense of where he was going. On the outskirts he saw holos about the Jedi’s “betrayal” and cut his Padawan braid with Master Topal’s lightsaber, the last time he would ignite it for several years.
Prauf took one look at the shellshocked kid with muddy, scraggly robes and a fresh blaster wound to the face, and marched him straight to the guild outfitters for new clothes and a job. When the guild rep asked who the kid was Prauf told them he was a distant relative. Very distant. By marriage.
The Scrapper Guild tattoo was mandatory after a week on the job, when it was clear Cal probably wasn’t going to die immediately from the work, and was worth claiming as an worker. A droid stamped the image out onto his forearm in a matter of minutes. It hurt, but it was a distant, muted pain that barely registered. It startled him for weeks when he would catch sight of it. As an adult, the tattoo is an afterthought. He’s considered removing or embellishing it - plenty of backwater tattooists out here on the Rim - but he always winds up leaving it. He’s not ashamed of the time he put in on Bracca, nor the skills he learned there.
He didn’t realize he had a scar for weeks after the fall of the Albedo Brave. They didn’t keep mirrors in the scrappers’ quarters and there was nowhere else to go. He caught sight of his face in a shipside stretch of hammered durasteel on a rare sunny day, and the harsh red line rippling from his neck to his cheek shocked him. He stared at it until he got yelled at, and he got back to work, cheeks flushing with shame.
The scrapper uniform shop included heavy durable ponchos that stood up to the rain and repelled sparks and oil. When the outfitter droid plonked one over his head Cal didn’t argue, even though it was enormous on him. It was far enough from his robes that Cal felt safe and hidden, but close enough that he felt at home. He’s kept one in his wardrobe ever since, and wears them when memories press closer than he’d like.
Cal doesn’t sleep well, even into his twenties; shadowy dreams, sleep talking, night terrors. By the time of Survivor, it’s much better than it used to be: Cere taught him specific meditations he could use to help clear his mind, Greez kept the Mantis stocked with tea that helped him fall asleep faster, and Merrin used to sit up with him if he woke up in a panic. But it’s still his most vulnerable time, and when things are especially hard or emotional, he’s more likely to slip back into the fractured sleep he had throughout his teens.
As a new scrapper he once fell asleep while at a dangerous post, and the foreman screamed at him over it. (Not out of worries for his safety, but because it’d be annoying to find another worker as small and agile on short notice should he plummet to his death.) Prauf found him headphones and a little track player a few days later, told him to blast the music when he needed to stay awake. Every few weeks Prauf just happened to find another track to add to his collection.

My Wild Horse Story
By Dailynn Palmer, WY
I wanted to write a post about one of the most special horses I’ve ever had come through my life. I’ve worked with hundreds of horses, but my life would not be what it is had this specific mustang not been a part of it.
Meet Oliver.
I forget what HMA Oliver originated from but he was started in a women’s correctional facility in Wy. Oliver had a good start in life and was eventually sold to a wonderful family owned guest ranch/outfitter.
At some point Oliver changed- he became the horse no one wanted to work with. He bucked off some of the best riders who came through that ranch.
I had a series of extremely hard events happen in my life in 2018. I couldn’t face my current life so I decided to disappear to Wy for a time and happened to begin working for this same ranch in 2019.
I worked with some other horses, and listened to everyone talk about the black-listed Oliver. Even one of the other riders, who I truly admired for her skill, was vocally nervous about getting on Oliver. This is someone who would gallop across the 700acre property bareback, jumping anything in sight. I don’t even have the balls to do that.
Well, we were short-mounted one day so I was left with a choice between Oliver and an older gelding. I chose Oliver, and I’m sure glad I did.
There are no words to really describe how this horse healed me. He holds such a special place in my heart, akin to my first horse but so wildly different.
Now this is starting to sound like a fairy tale, huh? Well let’s get something straight- he was an absolute a** when I first started working with him. But I persisted. We spent a lot of hours in the arena just goofing off. Eventually, we built enough of a report for light trail rides outside, which led to days worth of adventures into the wilderness completely alone. We saw the world together. We watched deer, birds, antelope, rabbits, a bobcat and even a couple bears together. This dude had a heart of courage and our adventures together were limitless. Nothing phased him. He reminded me of a time in my youth when nothing mattered and I felt invincible. I felt my fire for life slowly returning and my deep wounds slowly healing.
Eventually, we started with leading out guest trail rides. He loved it. Then we began leading pack-strings in preparation for the hunting season. He loved that. Soon enough, we were leading all the hunters, guides and packhorses through 15mi worth of certified wilderness to go to and from camp. He was a star. Everyone was floored by who this horse had become. I didn’t feel the same way because I simply felt like he was the same Oliver I had to spend a century trying to catch that first day.
Towards the end of hunting season (right around Oct.) things were starting to get very cold and the weather unpredictable. We were headed back from hunting camp, getting close to the ranch, a horrible thunder and hail storm took over earlier than expected. We were leading the pack at this time. We all had to dismount because the lightning was striking so close and quite a few of the horses were shod. It was terrifying. The hail was so strong it would leave marks on your skin, and you couldn’t see a few feet in front of you. We had a long meadow stretch to get through. I was leading three packhorses and Oliver was next to me. He understood his job in that moment and powered forward. He allowed me to shield my face next to his neck and kept me warm as we slowly made it through this wretched storm. It was physically draining and scary. But I had my best friend by my side and a silent assurance from him that he would take care of me and get us home. I trusted him, and at the time it felt like with my life. At that time, we had absolutely leading me.
We made it home.
No damage was apparent until our next pack trip, when I urged Oliver to the front of the line to lead and he stopped completely and refused. He lost all of his confidence in leading, which was his favorite thing a week prior. This broke my heart. It was a slow process but he eventually gained back his courage to lead. It was almost like he rebuilt my courage so that I could help him regain his when the time came.
A month later it was time for me to pack up and leave. I helped haul the horses to their wintering paddock and personally turned Oliver out. I gave him one big hug goodbye and that was the last time I saw that wonderful horse. I have stayed in touch with the owners and have received glowing updates about what a good boy he has been since. But I’ll tell you what, I miss the crap outta that animal.
He wasn’t the prettiest horse on the planet, he had a horrible trot and he was always a difficult catch, but boy do I love that guy. Even now as I write this, I tear up thinking about him and how much he changed me.
I know this was a long post, but I just wanted to share about a mustang that truly changed my life.

An Intro to Binders
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Binders are a great! Here's a quick intro into what they are, the many styles and options and some links on where to get one!✨
There are no rules on who can wear a binder, it's shapewear, if it helps you achieve your desired shape, then go for it! No one owes you an explanation as to why they choose to wear a binder; it's their body, their clothes, their choice.
If you are looking into getting a binder for yourself, it's important you do plenty of research into what style, size and materials are right for you. Check out resources from Point of Pride, Spectrum Outfitters, Amor Binders and Mermaids for safety and measurement guides. Or if you want video resources on binders, check out YouTube channels for PinkNews, Jammidodger, Ashton Daniel and As/Is.
It's important to note as well, that binders wont work for everyone, but there are other options for a flatter chest, like wearing baggier clothes and layering, working out your upper torso and arms, using trans tape or top surgery.
A dedicated binder safety guide post will be coming soon so stay tuned!...
Also, if you have any other recommendations for brands or resources, please share in the comments 😁

How To Dress Like A Shoujo Girl
since spring is here i thought i’d do a little guide on outfit inspo for shoujo girl spring. this may be a little long and i plan on (if this does ok) making this a series on my blog 🫶🏻
this post will be split into sections based on top half, bottom half, dresses and accessories, i hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Top Half
in terms of tops you want to look for items that have a lot of frill, floral and lace details. Blouses, vests and camis are a must, as these items have a romantic feel to them. Cardigans and knitwear are also a good add on for layering as they have a warm and cozy feeling to them while being both cute and practical. Tops with collar details are also a good idea as they recreate the preppiness of many shoujos.
Here are a couple pieces i think really fit the vibe.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bottom Half
On your bottom half i would recommend mostly wearing skirts, but i will be giving options for jeans and shorts. Layered/ruffled skirts should become a key item of your outfit, whether that is maxi or mini and once again stick with floral patterns, lace or frills. If you want to wear shorts or jeans i would recommend going for something with details on them, either ruffled shorts or jeans with embellishments. A dress/long top layered over the jeans would be very adorable too!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dresses
For dresses i will keep this part pretty short as a lot of the details are things I've brought up already. In terms of dress style i would recommend a lot of cutesy sundresses, babydoll dresses and maxi dresses, as long as its cute and flowy it will work.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Accessories
For accessories you can add as many or as little as you feel. I think the things you see most are bows, pearls and flowers but anything cutesy works. Bags are also a key thing with most shoujo girls either having a mini backpack or a small handbag, once again though whatever you feel works best for you. Leg warmers are also something i would recommend, as they are a simple way of elevating any outfit to become more cutesy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some places i would recommend buying from if you're into this style is Peiliee Shop, Vinted, Urban Outfitters or H&M. The best places to get inspiration for this style are Pinterest, your fav anime girls and fruits magazine.
if anyone has any questions or anything they want to add feel free to comment below.
See you soon! - mimi °ʚ(*´꒳`*)ɞ°
