So i have elaborate backstories for the mci kids here bc i'm so unreasonably hyperfixated on bsd that I must give every character something unique and tragic. Another thing that i'm not really gonna be doing is many location changes. Feddie Faber's Pizza Place is the same building as Fredbear's with a rebrand. The only location changes will by Circus Baby's/sister location and Pizza Sim restaurant.

anyways RANPO. Ranpo is 17 when he dies, the oldest of the kids by a looonng shot. He's an orphan at the nearby orphanage and comes to pizzeria to have some fun for himself. Earlier on, he had met Fukuzawa, the co-owner, and really admired him. Fukuzawa was also like the parent that Ranpo never had. But after Yosano's death, Fukuzawa leaves the town and the company behind. Ranpo definitely knew why he left, but still kept going back to Feddie's because he liked the ambience, the food, the games, the characters, and he wanted to see if Fukuzawa would ever return. Just for a moment. Secretly Ranpo had wanted to ask Fukuzawa and Yosano to adopt him, but after her death, that dream died.

So in 1985, Ranpo is 17, and he becomes friends with the Pizzeria's owner, Dazai, 15, who started hanging out here bc he didn't have anything else to do with his life. Dazai sort of admires Ranpo bc he's smart, and having older friends is cool by default. Also Ranpo is energetic and lively in a way that a severy depressed and grief stricken kid like Dazai would definitely latch onto.

During the Disappeared Kids Ordeal, Ranpo was actively trying to solve the case himself and figure out why a bunch of kids in the neighborhood were going missing, however a lot of his personal connection and admiration would prevent him from fully putting the pieces together and figure out the killer's identity until it was too late for him. When Mori caught wind of Ranpo's investigation, he did him in and put him in the Feddie Faber animatronic. Ranpo solved the mystery, but couldn't get it out to the public. He's also the very last kid to be killed during the incident.

here's his Ghost Form! During the day, and most of the night, he like the other kids stay in their animatronic form. But during some moments and in the Flipside, he has this ghost form! They get a costume that resembles the character they're possessing. Ranpo has a little cape action going, reminiscent of his canon design.

Ironically Freddy was Ranpo's favorite animatronic.

#anything to talk about LORE!#random thing to note but Fukuzawa is wearing the glasses the he would've given to ranpo in the canon world.#representing the innate tragedy of their lost relationship in this au. missed chances.#There's also the fact that he's unaware about the crimes mori is committing through their company. he still thinks mori is his friend #so they're his 'rose-tinted glasses' that he needs to eventually lose. which he will.#the glasses ranpo wears in canon represent his willful distance from reality. so y'know. symbolism. if you care.#doodles #ask #also Yes dazai wear's feddie's merch unironically.

Keep in mind, all of my AU Butchlander threadfics on Twitter are the unpolished first draft versions of what'll eventually be polished up into long fics on AO3 under the Shock and Awe series. So you may regard this threadfic as an experimental first prototype and exclusive preview whose contents may or may not be changed in the future final draft version. We’re just loosely playing around with ideas and concepts for now!

(A/N) - Notice how the Evian bottled water mentioned earlier finally serves its purpose here? And peep at the mention of Billy's bare wrist—when it'd been mentioned he'd been wearing a Rolex watch prior when he'd entered Homelander's penthouse. :) The watch will come into play later; a classic underhanded CIA tactic to orchestrate a second meeting with the target.

Cut Content: Mirrorlander almost made an appearance in this update, where HL would see his own reflection approaching Billy's reflection in his mirrored bedroom...and being all handsy and just, in general, kinda creepy about it, haha. Reason why it was cut: pacing. It's also very similar to what'll show up in Truce ch4 and I didn't want to essentially rehash the same desperate obsession and tense introspection here, especially this early into this threadfic.

Jason Todd: [had an abusive father who hit him & his mom, a good stepmom who died too early, was homeless for a couple years before a chance encounter upon Batmobile, which led to him becoming Robin (& adopted by a billionaire), his bio mom showed up and sold him to the fucking Joker, got beat to death by said deranged clown via A CROWBAR and THEN blown up, fucking DIED, got resurrected INSIDE HIS COFFIN, had to dig himself out of aforementioned coffin SIX FEET UNDERGROUND, was catatonic for six months or so, got found by the LoA and dumped into the Lazarus Pit, was finally back to his old self except angrier, got back to Gotham only to find out he'd been replaced as Robin, became a crime lord almost overnight, beheaded a few criminals that definitely deserved it, more traumas here & there etc etc]

Me: He likes reading literature and learning languages I think :D He also supports women and children :D

How is Gabe and Six's dynamic a "friendship"?

Lucifer has always called it a friendship and their dynamic has been going for thousands of years now. Six is an alternate and has only recently developed humanity - so he doesn't really know any better. To him, a friendship is an exchange - you do as you're told and the person who's able to destroy you won't do that. Six thinks their friendship has only recently turned bad, but there's always been a kind of threatening air about Lucifer and how he views alternates as beneath him. Six is only just fully realising that over the past couple of decades since the Heathcliff house though.

So when it came to the prequel games, you actually couldn’t play Gran’s routes until after you unlocked all endings of all the other routes.

Primarily because Gran’s routes took place before AfO was petrified and imprisoned in his castle’s gardens- with said castle being converted into a magic school that Inko, Rei, and Mitsuki all attend together.

Gran’s routes are basically a “This is the story of how All for One was petrified, provided you don’t get the Bad Ending for the AfO Path.”

I like the concept of the comic, just not the execution, hopefully I'll get the full thing out to my liking soon enough :p

So because half of my Pacific Rim special interest involves making aus, new au time!

I call this one the Ricochet AU. It's split into two parts, the prequel/prologue that I call Alter Eon, which is based on @/eeriedragone’s original au, and the aftermath. This au is a runoff/addendum to my Crestfallen Au, which is my canon-compliant au of Uprising. (I’ll add a link to Alter Eon when it's published) I'll give the summary for the aftermath below, though be aware it contains slight spoilers for Alter Eon.

In Pacific Rim: The Black, there is a Kaiju-human hybrid who simply goes by “Kaiju b0y”. I’ve decided to take my own spin on that concept. Some time after Alter Eon, Newton detected the presence of a kaiju along the southern coast of Japan, but it felt off as it seemed to be stationary. The PPDC investigate, and to their surprise, they find what appears to be an unconscious human boy. However, they quickly learn his DNA is far from human. He’s taken back to the Shatterdome where he is tested, and is given the nickname “George”. Scientists found he had DNA traits that matched both humans and Kaiju, though unlike Kaiju DNA, it was not cloned. The boy awakens sometime later, and when it's determined he is not a threat, he is questioned. George only has vague memory of originating from the Antverse, along with general human knowledge the Precursors “programmed” into him. He also has the ability to shift into a Kaiju form, which he willingly demonstrates in a test chamber. Shortly after, he is introduced to Newton, uniting the only known Kaiju-Human hybrids. They talk, and Newton, who has recently learned how to shift between forms, explains himself and his history. He notes that while they are both part Kaiju, they do not possess the “hive-mind”. Newton hypothesizes that if they drift, they should be able to recreate it, as he connected to the hive-mind when he drifted with a Kaiju. Additionally, they may be able to search into George’s psyche, and discover the truth of his origins. After developing a modified neural bridge, the two drift successfully. It is revealed George was created as a prototype of some kind, but they are not able to find out what for. Something went wrong in the process of George’s creation, and was discarded, explaining why he is not under the Precursor’s control. Afterwards, a neural link is established between the two. From there, the hybrids along with K-science work towards finding a breach to the Antverse in hopes of defeating the Precursors once and for all; before they regain control over Newton and George.

Like Kaiju b0y, George is able to control his human and Kaiju form with ease, and is skilled in terms of physical altercation. However, he doesn't immediately know everything about the human world, which Newton teaches him. Over time, he becomes something of a mentor figure to George as they work together. George’s Kaiju form is known as Ricochet (hence the au's name), and Newton’s is Kynmatik (mostly just because I wanted to give him his own Kaiju name hskgbakhg).

Also, I made a little picrew to give an idea on what George looks like.
