I can kinda understand the frustration from oversaturation. But as a short trans guy who had bad social anxiety, and grew out of that by finding myself in masculinity, yeah, I do like headcanon's for short shy men being trans guys. That's me. I'm short. I'm shy. I'm growing into a happier person by accepting and embracing my masculinity that is not separate from my body or my personality.
I'm not being fetishistic, I'm projecting my experiences onto characters like any other person. Watching a shy insecure guy grow into someone who loves every part of himself and expresses his masculinity with the same gentle kindness that I identify with is comfort like no other.
