Hey this is weird to do on tumblr but I’m scraping the bottom of the barrel here so I’m going to cross post something that I’ve posted on Facebook and instagram:

Hi all,

As you may know my great aunt passed away last Wednesday and she had six cats that she loved dearly. As a small update, we were able to get the two cats with medical issues into a good shelter and we have four more cats to find good homes or a good shelter for. Now my record for shelters I’ve contacted and been advised that they are full (with some even telling me that we should just euthanize her cats which I won’t and can’t do) is creeping up towards the seventies and it’s becoming more and more apparent that our best bet are kind individuals with good homes that would like to adopt a cat(s). Even if you’re not in Florida you probably have a friend or a family member or a very kind neighbor who has been thinking about adopting a cat and this is a great time to do so! I’ve contacted their vet and have all their medical records and I’m here to talk to anyone that may be interested in them.

The cats:

Lily is a nine year old girl, she’s black and white and can be quite shy so she’s very good at hiding but she is a sweet cat (pictures one and two)

Okie dokie is an 8 year old boy, he’s black and white and very affectionate he can just be very timid (pictures three and four)

Palmer and tiger are a bonded pair of 7 year old brothers, obviously the important thing is that they all go to good homes but it would be especially ideal if these brothers could go together as they feel more comfortable eating when the other one is there, they are tabby cats and are very cuddly with people but can be pushy with more timid cats. (Pictures five and six)

this is the main sign for this bakery which i should include to keep the post sign-related but the Real reason for the post is THIS:

there's a statue of a cow outside as well. look at it. BEHOLD

but looking at google maps history, it wasn't always pink:

it was black and white for a few years when the bakery was a latin grocery store,

and was brown and had a look of perpertual horror when the store was a latin butcher's shop. it looked like this when the google street view history began

in trying to find out if it was there before 2007, i found on roadside architecture dot com like 9 pages worth of signs with cow statues in the usa including:

the beef country bull in port charlotte florida!!!!!! i live near him lmao. it looks like it could be the same mold as the one in tampa?
