Just thinking about the fact that on the ride back from the zoo, Theo told Liam “You get angry when your afraid.”

And we witnessed Liam continually being angry while he was with Theo (very rarely when he wasn't), so couldn't the explanation for Liam's behavior be fear of his feelings for Theo, as well as maybe rejection?

Or the fact that he developed feelings for THEE Theo Raeken? Big bad Chimera of Death and all, and it scared him, so whenever he was in Theo’s presence, he didn’t know what to do but get angry. 

Does that make sense? 😭😭

I'd absolutely love some sterek fic recs because I'm trying to broaden the ships I read. I've watched the first 3 seasons of teen wolf but haven't read any fics and don't know where to start. I'm fairly open to reading any content, although I'm not the biggest fan of like the common school/coffee shop etc AUs.

Also I love how you're gotten into blogging hockey recently. Have you read any hockey rpf since getting into nhl? Personally sidgeno and mattdrai have my heart, but like I said I'm looking for new ships to read like sterek.

I will say Sterek has the potential for an age gap concern but I don't read fic where that's written as a predatory thing, FWIW, but I do read some where Stiles is 17 but where I feel like it's handled at least somewhat gracefully

Gravity's Got Nothing on You by @zosofi is great - I really like all their stuff actually!

@kalpurna's Fascination and @drunktuesdays' bigger, longer and uncut are both *gems* - so funny.

We've Written Volumes (in Blood and Scars and Ink) by @notthequiettype is absolutely brilliant, one of my fav fics of all time, way up on my reread regularly list. They only have one other Sterek but I love that one too (and they write hockey rpf but I haven't really dived in there yet!).

The Moon's Gonna Follow Me Home by @turningterrific is stunning. They're SUCH a good writer, although sadly this is their only Sterek (but they have written some amazing hockey RPF as well!).

Every stumble and each misfire by @everchanginginks is fucking phenomenal. True story, I read this fic and then didn't keep track of it but it stayed in my brain, and I spent literally HOURS combing my AO3 history to find it, and when I did, I promptly downloaded it and created the "Best Ever" collection on my Kindle specifically for this fic.

Everything by @suburbanmotel. They are an incredible writer and even more incredible person and I'm so lucky to call them a friend!

I really love @lunacanislupus-22-blog writing but particular favorites are: Feel it like a fever, burning through the night , Spirit grows when love goes away and I know that you love me, even when I lose my head (and I'm not normally one for amnesia fics because they make me SO ANXIOUS but this one is SO good).

Cornerstone by Vendelin is really good too (mind the tags on this one).

By Any Other Name by @entanglednow is fucking phenomenal (and again with the amnesia fics?!?!) and so so well-written. Check out all their stuff!

I really love @devildoll's writing very much a lot! Particular favorites include: Come with Me and Walk the Longest Mile (and I don't usually gravitate to post-apocalyptic fic even though I love the genre in fiction but this one is fucking brilliant); Stand Fast in Your Enchantments (painful and so good); My Heart Comes Tumbling Down (OH MY HEART) and Love, Like a Sentence of Death.

There's Monsters at Home by @wellhalesbells | calrissian18 is a classic and really good! They've written a ton of really great fics (the Hilary Duff lyrics one is a another personal favorite!)

Not Quite Lost (Not Quite Found) by @alocalband is gorgeous. Just. beautifully written.

stuck in reverse by @crazyassmurdererwall is also really good! Definitely check the tags on this one, as it is Stiles still in HS.

Start Small, Like Oak Trees by smallbirds is really lovely. Everything of theirs that I've read, I've really liked.

Okay, just a couple more I promise!!

The Difficult Kind (series) by whiskey_in_tea is an old one but really really wonderful.

The First Date series by @halffizzbin - the whole thing is delightful but I absolutely adore the final installment!

I will note that many of these authors also have Hockey RPF fic, JUST SAYING (I really am fascinated as to what that pipeline is??). I've read a ton of hockey RPF as well (sidgeno for sure) and I'll check out mattdrai now!!

My Marauders Headcanons Pt. 3 ~ Remus John Lupin

(Daniel Sharman as Remus Lupin makes sooo much sense, in my head. I mean he is soggy, wet dog of a man like Remus. He plays a werewolf on Teen Wolf. He has the hair, and if cocky, cool Remus is your thing he can pull that off too. Also there's a pic of him in a cowboy hat for all the Cowboy!Remus going on rn)

Hes an old man at heart and he always has been

He's very awkward, like if it weren't for the marauders he'd probably have like no friends

He actually gets along with everybody despite the facts he's awkward as hell

Became friends with The Pantheons/Slytherin Skittles/The Emeralds (whatever your preferred term is) after the prank

He looks so funny sitting there wearing his light clothes next to them in all their dark ones

Still as cute as ever

He is not the smartest marauder

I mean in book sense yes but absolutely nothing else

He's become best friends with Evan and Regulus

Show/Movies I would show the Helluva Boss characters

This is rlly random but this started with the thought of Blitz liking MLP and kinda spiraled from there.

MLP: I think this one is pretty self-explanatory. I think he would like the ponies and the whole friendship thing. Actuakky think he would bully a brony to get a figure of his favs (and tell them to shower). He would probs love Pinkie Pie. (this stemmed from This Day Aria playing lol)

Teen Wolf: A show I know nothing about. Just would show it to her. This would probably get me killed.

Steven Universe (both the shows and movie): Purely because of the music. If anything, he would also enjoy the animation and he would LOVEE Pearl. He would create a teir list of all the songs and rate them.

Tbh not really a show, but any crime documentary or documentaries with the baby animals.

Selena (1997): I think Millie would LOVEE Selena, and I also want to instill the hatered ofYolanda into her. That woman could never have too many haters.

Any historic romance drama (like Bridgerton): We already know he loves telenovelas, so I also think that he would love the messiness of the relationships. You know how in every season, the main couple would have an arguement and not talk for a while? He is sobbing like a baby LMFAO- Also would show him any romance K-drama, esp the BL ones.

Moulin Rouge: Kinda historic, but mainly bc it has main character death lol he would also enjoy the music.

Striker

Moonshiners: I have no idea what this show is about, probably about people making moonshine. Never really watched it,but I have seen glimpses of it when my grandpa would watch it. Think because of it, he would probs try to make his own moonshine.

The Godfather: He would probs like all the violence lol. it just fits him idk kekw

Grey's Anatomy: Not because it's a doctor show, but because it's SOOO MESSY LMFAOO- Have y'all seen that one tik tok of the person with the chart of who slept with who? That would be Ozzie. Also think he would love the drama.

I try to! There was a couple years where I wasn't really writing for fic or reading it and I kind of just ignored Ao3 and came back to like 500 comments that I didn't respond to, but I read all of them and loved them. I respond to all of them now though and did before I went inactive.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I don't typucally write angsty endings. I typically write fic because I want a happy ending. I did write a very angsty, very short first person fic from Stiles POV at the end of Teen Wolf? I guess that would be it. With a Wimper is also my least read fic in terms of hits lol.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

ALL OF THEM! I write happy endings baby! If I had to pick just one I'd probably say my favourite Steddie fic I wrote - Baby on Board just because it's a prequel to a very happy fic and the end of BoB is also happy and hopeful.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not recently. Back in the days of a very active Sterek fandom I had some, usually from people who didn't ship Sterek. It was always wild to me because that meant you intentionally commented on a fic for a ship you didn't ship just to be mean?

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I do, but not as often as I used to. Typically my smut ends up also being sappy, but sometimes I dabble in bandage or light D/s stuff.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

One time I wrote Stiles Stilinski/Jason Todd and it was very fun for me and hopefully for the like 500 people who read it. - if you're interested it's Back Alley Deals lol

Yes! I've had some wonderful folks translate some of my fics to Russian, Mandarin, and Ukrainian and I think a few other languages I'm not rememebring

Yes, I did the jaytim WIP exchange which I think counts as co-writing. We just wrote in shifts lol

14. What’s your all time favorite ship?

Probably Sterek simply because I can always go back to it like a warm little blanket and because I was so in it for so many years.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

probably my Buddie double timeloop fic :( maybe one day i'll finish it

I think dialogue and being able to capture a character's voice

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Conflict probably - I just want everyone to get along so I really struggle to write it, but I do write it and that's what counts

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I struggle with it because I'm only English speaking. I think if I get better at French or Spanish I'd be more comfortable with it, but for now I don't like relying on Google translate.

noah/devon

who start out on the worst terms (romantic rivals for avery/garvith. who is simply Done With It on both ends f) but in the little space of reefair where avery has dropped off the map completely, noah+devon end up living in the same house & get pretty buddy buddy. devon is the first person noah trusts with the secret that he is a god, and devon has a phd in being a whore instead of going 2 therapy so they have a good time, as we say on this main blog where content restrictions apply. :)

anwy let's bring this baby home. ive talked abt court of the dragon before but the tldr is; noah dukes it out with his vengeful other ex that until now ive omitted. which is a shame bc damia is my fav oc, but the endgame is this:

noah+damia end up in a dual body consciousness situation a la pandora hearts, with one body stuck at the bottom of the ocean in dead world space & the other able to move freely, with the two of them having 2 play real nicey with each other taking turns who controls which body. by then avery has sort of rejoined the polycule (when she's not out adventuring across verses w/ lucie) but in an all members present scenario u get:

So the a couple hours ago I was talking with my aunt about Harry Potter. (‘cause we both love the books, are potterheads, etc.)

And to make conversation I was like “oh uh who’s your favourite marauder?”

And she gives me this blank stare…

A few seconds later she says “uh…Remus?”

Of course I’m like “Oh yeah? Me too! What’s your favourite marauders ship?”

And she looks just really confused, and then “James and Lily I guess..?”

And obviously I’m an idiot so I follow up with “oh cool. My current fav is wolfstar.”

Again with a weirded out look, followed by: “uh who’s that?”

I’m quick to respond with “oh! Y’know, Remus and Si-“ and then it hits me. Of course my aunt doesn’t know who wolfstar is or any thing about the marauders. She hasn’t spent years scouring the interwebs for fanart . She hasn’t read hundreds of fanfictions. She has barely scratched the surface of Harry Potter.

So yeah then I had to act like I had confused teen wolf with Harry Potter so she wouldn’t think I was insane

Just finished Stranger Things 4 and i have thoughts:

1- Nancy and Steve: stop. Just stop, please.

I love them both so much, but I do not ship them, never have never will, and I've always shipped Nancy and Jonathan and to me Nancy and Steve broke up for some very good reasons and, even tho they make great friends, they don't really make that much of a fine couple from my point of view.

2- Steve: 1: fucking ally or what?! 2: it's because you're the best babysitter, sweetie. 3: (most important) him ripping the demobat's head/body off was really hot. Like, sexy and hot and it got me all hot lol. So hot. Rip that head off! 4: i shipped him a lil with Eddie at some points. 5: he's such a great person. How he supports his lesbian girl at a small town in the 80s is amazing. Like Eddie said -he said something, i forget fast.

3- Robin: i felt represented. She won't shut up. Not great with the social skills. I love her and want her to be safe. Wish we could've seen more of Vickie. Her friendship with Nancy got me shipping a lil, but i loved their friends dynamic. Beware of rabies.

4- Argyle and Eden - ❤️ the way he was just instantly smitten was so cute. Him freaking out was also cute.

5- When i saw the promos saying El thought Will had a crush i was so happy thinking it might've been someone new and that liked and appreciated him, maybe that guy in the pink jacket. But no. He's still into Mike. It broke my heart when we knew the painting was for Mike and then he got there and everything was just super awkward. I'm really curious about the painting. And, it just got pointed out to me here, that Mike may not be able to say he loves Eleven bc he's into Will too? He said it in the last season and he's been treating Will kinda weird for some time... So i have no idea what to make of this. I just thought Mike and El were endgame. I can see it both ways. Adding: that moment they were talking in his room, i thought Will would kiss Mike for sure.

6- Eddie: what can I say about this man? He's so cute and awesome. Such a caring drug dealer. An extra lil dad for Dustin and the others. He seems like he could be friends with Robin very easily, but him and Steve bonding over Dustin was my fav. And jumping into a Watergate for three basic strangers was pretty cute. Even if it was for shame reasons. It also looks like he's filling in for both Billie and Jonathan at Hawkins, but not too much because he has his own manners and personality that diverge from both characters, and i love that.

7: I missed Erica. A. Lot. Just the facts. The couch is on fire lol she's always a badass. And speaking out in the middle of an "adult" conference was pretty cool. Also, calling their bullshit and noticing the lights.

Extras:

My fav Dustin moment was: "I overestimated them". That was some beautiful moment right there.

The fact both Steve and Eddie felt jealous of Dustin is so wholesome and weird at the same time. Just wanna see those three together.

The ending caught me by surprise. But if i stop to think about it, it was kinda predictable?

Susie's family was fun. Hope to see her in Hawkins one day.

I love Russian. That one Russian prisoner was Svetlana's husband in Shameless.

Me, everytime that one basketball player spoke: Hey, Garrett? Shut up. (He played a character named Garrett in Teen Wolf)

Liked how their parents got all involved together this time.

When that cop said Max was mean. Lol. Hell yeah.

first ship: no one laugh but my first conscious ship was bechloe from the pitch perfect movies (IN MY DEFENSE… HAVE YOU SEEN THE SHOWER SCENE?) but looking back before i even knew what shipping was (or that i was gay) i wanted silena and clarisse from the percy jackson books to be girlfriends so very badly.

currently reading: i haven’t had much time for reading recently because of finals but now that i’m graduated and i know my sister is getting me books for christmas i’m hoping to get back into it more. and in terms of fics i am actually hanging onto every update of green zone <3

last movie: in theaters it was wakanda forever (twice) but i also pirated the cam version of the menu last week because i was desperate to see redheaded anya taylor joy but too cheap and too busy to go see it in person. both very excellent. the menu was not about what i thought it was gonna be at all tho 😭 oh and my father decided to watch a very corny hallmark movie last night called the 9 kittens of christmas and i indulged him by sitting through it because it was about cats.

currently watching: i have multiple episodes of 911 to catch up on but i decided to rewatch s3 of teen wolf again, i just started willow because they have a knight/princess sapphic couple (thats canon!!!!), and also the world cup just ended so i was busy watching that too (last match almost gave me a heart attack i was covering my face and feeling ill every time the scores were re-tied).

consuming: now that i am no longer living in a dorm or on a dining hall plan i am eating any and everything to make up for my past few months of torture and deprivation.

Because we are iconic like that. I had the Barbie version of the makeup doll lol, but I definitely was not any good at it 😅😂. I collected Barbies though, had a massive bag of them and clothes and stuff. And had a few MH ones, Frankie and Draculaura are the ones I can remember. Me and my sister used to play pretend a Lot, and we would always make the Barbies kiss, as baby gays do.

2. Dio, "Holy Diver" - yeah, classic, guess this one is pretty self-explanatory... I did just read what's currently my all time fav ST fic, this time loop fic star of the masquerade by glorious_spoon, and eddie's fav track there is holy diver.

Steely & Clevie, Righteous Flames, "I Was Born To Be Loved" - idk I just freaking love this dancehall track from 92, heard it on the radio a while back and put it on my 'seattle wip' playlist, which I was listening to while noodling around with a post-u mich kj/owen story that alas has not materialized beyond a set up and a few scenes. it's always gonna be a kj and owen mood for me. :')

4. Kate Bush, "Running Up That Hill" - for a while in college @dirigibleplumbing played "wuthering heights" like everyday BUT somehow i never heard/took in "running up that hill" until i started watching Pose last year - when it plays at the end of the pilot !!! while that man is picking up angel !!! I just !!!! stay away from her, get a job !!!! anyway, also, max gender, is there a more gender-y song?

5. Afsky, "Tyende Sang" - more metal. first track i heard on Seek & Destroy that gave me a fanfiction oh. moment. like, we are no longer just doing fic research, we go here now.

6. HAAi, "Baby, We're Ascending" - this song is fine/fun, i threw it on a recent playlist so i'm hearing it a lot, but i loved loved loved HAAi's recent Resident Advisor mix & listened to it a bunch. tried to put it on during a philly wedding afterparty last spring but then it was TOO LOUD and we had to leave to the hotel. :(

7. Built to Spill, "Car" - I think this is my favorite track from their early 90s album There's Nothing Wrong With Love, an all time album which i also loved as a teen. good to sing along to.

8. Sevana, "Lowe Mi" - this has been playing all the time on KEXP's saturday morning reggae show. it's super catchy.

9. Leonard Cohen, "The Partisan" - as previously discussed i love a good time loop story - it's maybe one of my favorite tropes?? the melancholy and bittersweet yearning can be so exquisite, it fully KOs me - anyway, this track is used so well in Palm Springs, under that slow-mo close up on Sarah while Nyles realizes he is big time in love and needs to get his shit together -

10. Florence + The Machine, "Morning Elvis" - this is my Grey's end of season 2 song for Izzy and Denny :((((( I guess 'cause "we are trying to make it through the devastation" vibes + Denny is from Memphis.

currently reading: uuhhhh..... I haven't picked up an actual book since before the pandemic honestly 🙈 but it was The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater. otherwise just fanfic (Descendants, One Piece, ATLA, VLD, Teen Wolf, the occasional Avengers or Flash/Batfam)

last song: I usually have the TV on for background noise. I guess the Encanto soundtrack? mostly listened to "surface pressure" and "what else can I do?" on repeat

working on: finding out what my newest health problems are (liver biopsy next week! 🤪) and finding the right combo of rx pain meds + medical marijuana........ on the happier side, we've been looking to adopt a 2nd dog. it's tiring but v exciting. got our feelers out in a couple rescues and hope we'll find the right fit soon 🤞

thank you for the ask :D this has been sitting open since friday night oops. I was struggling how to answer this 'correctly' 😂 oooh favs is hard. I tend to go from one to the other and back and most of my au/crossover favs come from videos and or gifsets. I do really like the idea of Hal Mason & Charlie Matheson together. I think personality and spunkwise they'd match pretty well.

But then again I just put Lucas Taylor and Charlie Matheson together and I could see that work too haha.

I've been frequenting some Daisy & Bucky ( x and x are particular favs) vids recently. I think that counts as a crossover or at the very least an au. Honestly give me make a great gifset, or a beautiful vid and I ship it. Speaking of videos, I absolutely adore this Yelena and Kate assassin/shield agent au. Other crossover ships I enjoy, ElenaxStiles idk why but it works. Same for Derek (teen wolf) and Hayley (tvd/to). Billy Hargrove x Cheryl Blossom. did you go to disney?? i go to disney a couple times a year. it’s one of my fav places 😭 if you haven’t seen avengers campus already, i volunteer to take you there because it is the best. captain america once made a hand heart at my brother but not at me😤😤 was big time salty about it. calabasas scares me because it’s full of celebrities and i feel like they’d throw things at me. that’s awesome! i never got to go to coney island when i went, i was more by like 5th avenue and times square. it was so cool though,. everywhere you look is a building you’ve seen in a movie. and that’s so cool you have family over there! i have an aunt that was in the middle east for a bit for a job. i would love to go to jerusalem someday, just because that’s an important city in my religion :)

i did end up getting my starbucks! i found out i actually had plans on new years and decided to get my eyebrows done (finally) and went to target :)

I did, but I was like 13 so unfortunately they didn't have Avengers Campus yet, but I wanna see that really bad! I didn't see any celebrities but I saw like celebrity houses, like I saw (what's rumored to be) Justin Bieber's house and a house they filmed some of the CW Teen Wolf in. I also saw these houses as we were driving and probably got too excited
