Derek is so captivating to me because, like... He looks dangerous when you see his scowl, his stare, him lurking somewhere and when he shifts is just a whole other story. He can hurt, he can kill, he can say deranged shit, but what pulls you in is that you know he will never do that to the people he loves. To Stiles, to Eli. He will protect them, he will provide and just... you can breathe out and relax. Because Derek is here. You can trust him.

I gave up on trying to finish my wip before the New Year 😭 it's too long and work is taking every ounce of strength from me. I want to write but I don't have time or energy to. So please forgive me.

I will probably post a sneak peek 👀 I feel like I have to post something for festivities but gonna be honest I don't have any surprises 😔

I can promise you though that the first fic of 2024 is going to be EPIC.

Rain. You ever listen to those thunder storm ambience vids on YouTube? 🤌 the sound is lovely and the smell following a good storm/rain 🥰

Music. That feeling when you find a song that itches your brain just right. I'm autistic and singing is a major stim for me, it gets out energy/emotions that I don't really know how to express otherwise

Journaling. I just kinda empty my brain out on paper whether it makes sense or not and it feels nice lol

Halloween and autumn in general. The scary movie marathons and all the lovely colors 😁 (rain with fall scenery is 🤌)

My dog has recently taken to sleeping in bed with me, love all the pupper cuddles 🐶🥰

Sanford: I got a whole werewolf outfit picked out! I've also been workin' on my howling skills.

Deimos: I'm going as a vampire to contrast San's wolfyness. I honestly don't even really know what a werewolf is, I just know they don't like vampires.

Doc: Another holiday, another excuse to drink and eat unhealthy amounts of candy. I suppose I could channel my inner "Reanimator" and fabricate a costume based off of that.

Tricky: MYSELF, OBVIOUSLY!!! KILLER CLOWNS ARE ALL THE RAGE THIS HALLOWEEN SEASON!!

okay so with that joel/ren post it could go a couple of ways.

1. stays just joel/ren (however this in itself has options)

2. becomes joel/ren/lizzie/etho

2a. lizzie is a fairy in the forest and also is the cause of rens wolfyness but it was an accident and theyre still friends but it kinda cant be undone and then etho is joels arranged marrige betrothed but they all fall in love

2b. ren becomes joels like personal guard and then lizzie is who his arranged marrige thing is with and etho is lizzies personal guard and they all fall in love

Imagine if you will:

Wednesday didnt want to go to nevermore because she didnt want to be away from her family. She eventually does go over board defending pugsly, but not through piranhas in the pool and not because he was shoved in a locker. If I were to come up with somthing on the spot, she has been getting back at pugsly's bullies without getting caught (taking pugsly along as sibling bonding). Eventually theres a full confrontation though and she just snaps. Straight up breaks a kids arm.

So off to nevermore she goes.

She meets Enid. She does not really care about her one way or the other. Then she sees their room and divides it to take all the color out of her side. Enid and her argue, because Enid feels it was a violation of her space and Wednesday doesnt under stand why. Sharing= halving= she gets control of her side.

There could be some soft conflict from them adjusting to eachother. Maybe fleshing out Enids wolfyness with her being touchier about her space than non werewolves.

Wednesday doesnt relate to Enid's parent troubles. They dont bond over it. Instead Wednesday tells Enid that being a lone wolf is a natural part of social maturity. It's not particularly comforting. They spend awhile on the balcony, side by side, in silence. And that is comforting.

The fencing thing would also go differently. Wednesday doesnt challenge Bianca because shes a bully who needs to be taken down a peg. She sees her as the best fencer in the club and goes feral. Which results in the same match but she has a little excited smirk. And when Bianca draws first blood? She Grins.

Bianca's her new favorite person and bianca is Not about it.

After Wednesday beats her in the boat race thing she'll chill out.

Durring the boat race thing is also when Enid is solidified as a friend.
