Here is the map of Tamriel I made for my UESRPG campaign last year. It's rough in a good amount of spots, but I'm still pretty happy with it, and it serves its function well for our TTRPG game.
I've been planning on remaking it, and started some work on that a few weeks ago, but that's been shelved for now in favour of me work on the fanfic and so on.

Redid the world map for my Pathfinder setting. This thing is huge, like 7016x9920px.
The party in my upcoming campaign has a little magic slate that lets them look at the map in detail so I wanted to get it looking real pretty and also full of information for that. More detail:

Island of the Skull - Map
Tumblr media
This is a map I made in the program Wonderdraft that shows my personal take on the archetypal "Skull Island" as seen in various pirate- and adventure-themed media.
Unlike some other variations of the trope, my version is located deep within the equatorial Atlantic Ocean and owes its flora and fauna to migrations over the course of at least 150 million years. The island's most iconic megafauna are the dinosaurs and other descendants of Mesozoic migrants. However, later arrivals have managed to eke out their own niches beneath the giant saurians, including monkeys related to New World platyrrhines, gorillas and chimpanzees, elephants of African forest affinity, pantherine cats of mixed leopard and jaguar heritage, and even phorusrhacid "terror birds".
The island's human inhabitants would have arrived from the West African coast sometime before 2000 BC, bringing with them established traditions of agriculture and ferrous metallurgy that allowed them to colonize the treacherous landscape and carve it into numerous chiefdoms and states over the course of centuries. The most famous of these societies, the so-called "Kingdom of the Skull", developed in the rainforest on the windward side of the volcanic "Mountains of Hell", but fell into ruin at an uncertain date, although local traditions attribute its collapse to provoking the wrath of a deity known as the "Flaming Skull". Nonetheless, the islanders remain numerous across the island's breadth, maintaining a rich variety of distinctive cultures and dozens of different languages, albeit all sharing what may be a distant kinship with the Gbe languages of coastal West Africa.
It was in the late 1400s when Portuguese mariners first chanced upon the Island of the Skull and shared their knowledge with other Europeans. Nonetheless, both the mosasaur-haunted waters encircling the island and its own hostile terrain have discouraged large-scale European colonial expeditions, although some daring buccaneers and corsairs have nonetheless succeeded in establishing commerce with indigenous communities on the coast. Many of these swashbucklers covet the fabled riches of the ancient Kingdom of the Skull, but few who have penetrated its interior have come back to tell the tale…
And here's the (admittedly Google-translated) Portuguese version:

The lack of islands on my world map began to bother me, so I redesigned parts of it to contain more than just the two big ones that were there previously. I also decided to experiment with adding region labels, though for now they remain mostly the ones I have already defined beside the Kalamir Link and Malani pass, which I had previously not been able to think of a name for. The maps are made using wonderdraft.
For the archipelago I was debating how to design it for a while, and I ended up with a particular design in mind. While I was thinking in about both the shifts from volcanic activity and the potential of tectonic plates, I am by far no expert on it so it was instead made as far as I could have it make sense by what I do know.
The western archipelago was designed as being several smaller islands, with the aim that they were shattered parts going roughly in a line from the label it has to the northern label.
The northern parts were a little different as the parts are bigger, being some of the bigger parts of a land bridge to the south which can still partly be seen by the two northernmost islands that are 'reaching out' to each other.
Both of these are separated from the eastern archipelago by a chasm of deeper water. Here it can still be seen they follow the same pattern/line of the western part, but have larger fragments as they were once part of the Kalamir Link, before they moved away.
All of these islands are still a part of the Dulinri culture, though in the future I might consider adding some more variation to their culture depending on which parts they are from. The maps can also be found on my world anvil, though it still need work before I am done setting it up there.

(e)Map Maker Announcement!
Some of you probably know me already from the Twitter spaces, but I'd like to reintroduce myself properly.
I'm Ema, I'm a software map maker for the worldbuilding/narrative/TTRPG sphere!
I work mainly with Wonderdraft and CC3+ - I may be taking a break from city maps as they get rather overwhelming, but I'm still very active for land maps!
I hope everyone is doing alright wherever you are and that you're taking care of yourselves.
I'll soon be opening commissions for that, so stay tuned.
If you'd like to check out my work or tip me in any way, you can check my stuff out here and on my Ko-fi!

Revamped Broken Isles map for our World of Warcraft D&D campaign. Was made using Wonderdraft based on the existing Broken Isles maps, though some things have been adjusted based on our game because we are AU. We wanted something that had all the areas actually listed with cities closer in size to what they'd be on an actual map (looking at you Suramar xD)

Hello there!
I make maps of fake places for TTPRG games, GM'ing needs, and other such things using primarily Inkarnate and Wonderdraft, with some touching up in other programs! I GM myself, and worldbuilding is a passion of mine, with making maps one of my favorite parts of the hobby. Born too late to map the New World, so now I just map imaginary ones.
That said, it turns out money is something you need to live! So this consider this the grand opening of this tumblr.com webpage as a way to show off some of my favorite maps I make and share with other giant nerds!
Fancy a map? Commissions Open!

I made some diverse flora sets for Wonderdraft cause I liked the HD set, but it had very little diversity. so I aimed to fix it.
We got: Acacia trees, Various Cacti, giant fantasy mushrooms, cat tail reeds, mangroves, and palms. I wanna do joshua trees, and some forms of jungle trees, maybe some lily pads or something too.

Thought I'd share the world map I made using Wonderdraft for Link Across Realms, the 5e Zelda campaign I've been running for a couple years. Heavily based off of the world map of Ocarina of Time, but with a few changes here and there!
Now that I've gotten a little more experience under my belt with Wonderdraft, and mapmaking in general, I'd like to revisit this someday maybe. but I'm still very fond of this.

work in progress of a city map
Tumblr media
Finally trying out some new city assets after hitting a brick wall when it came to using some of the stylized ones for this map. Gonna try and go for a relatively minimalist approach and not put too much on the map other than the buildings and eventually labels. (though I may try and integrate labels into foundry)

An Intro
Heya, I'm Juniper Jones!
I'm 37, demigender, and use primarily they/them pronouns. I'm pan, and married, with zero kids (possibly furbabies in the future). I have an alphabet soup of mental health issues, joint hypermobility, and chronic fatigue.
I'm a fantasy writer (OCs only), D&D GM (5e), DW GM, cartographer, permaculture designer, medicinal herbalist, astrology enthusiast, and hedgewitch. I'm not terribly hip about Tumblr, so you'll have to excuse my mess.
My current games/projects are:
Monthly challenges for October
Starcrossed, a modern fantasy romance novel based on some previous work (you'll see posts about it under the tag #starcrossed novella) Currently looking for beta readers!!
Diver Down, a Back to the Future fanfic (on the back burner)
Fenville, an in-person & online D&D game running since 2018
Expedition to Alcanza, an in-person Dungeon World game for some other local friends
a novella about Fenville
assorted cartography for these stories/games
I use Dungeondraft and Wonderdraft for my cartography, and while I'd love to use Scrivener for my writing, I only use Linux. 😅 My search for good software is endless.
My side blog that I’ll be transitioning political and non-writeblr content to is Jun’s Pile of Everything Else. I might start a witchblr sideblog to keep that separate as well, idk.
I'm not terribly fandom conscious, as I've missed out on a lot of popular media, but I'm currently enjoying:
The Witcher novels
Disco Elysium
Ascendance of a Bookworm light novels
Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju (current fav)
Log Horizon
and My Next Life as a Villainess
In non-online life, I exclusively use a bike and public transit to get around my city, and I'm an activist for accessible public transit (among many other leftist causes).
I'd love to be mutuals if:
You have a Discord (DM me for my handle),
You're a writer looking to collaborate, beta read for one another, or just to share work,
You're an artist interested in drawing my characters, or collaborating on a light novel,
You want to ask me anything,
You like my stuff and I like yours!
Updated 9/26/22: Removed AO3 link until I can figure out what to do with that first draft. Added a link to the challenges for October & November. Added a link to the sideblog. Updated 8/24/22 with the link to Starcrossed on AO3!

The known world (3590)
(a.k.a I got my hands on Wonderdraft and went way overboard)
Tumblr media
The main idea was to create a pseudo-Mediterranean landmass with some magical influences (e.g. the Red Circle in the middle).
Tumblr media
I tried to keep geography, rivers and climates at least somewhat realistic. I do realize that MUCH more rivers would be needed, but yeah... not doing that.
Tumblr media
The polities are also very pseudo-European, so we got:
Not Byzantium (Goldhorn)
Not Papal States (The Sacred Eye)
Not Italy (Atto)
Not HRE (Semnones, Swágur & the Štyrs) Note: I could not be arsed to come up with hundreds of tiny states in proper HRE style so that's all I got
Not Mongols (Yellow Khanate)
Not Hansa (Freeports)
and some additional goodies like Not Celtic Tribes (the Dhuines), or Not China (the Zhin).
Depending on IRL workload, I'll try and write up some proper descriptions for the world and the different states in the coming weeks.
