I feel like it would either be The Proper People or Watcher. Does anyone know if either of those channels went there?

i spent some time at this psych hospital in my teen years, it was super surreal coming back years later. this place was almost like a second home for a while. a lot of memories and friends were made at the units i was admitted to. i’ve long lost contact with most of them. i hope all those ppl are okay now, and are healing from their traumas 🫶🏼

The cool thing about a horror movie that takes place in a mental hospital and, shockingly, actually turns out to be on the side of mentally ill people is that it avoids all the common disgusting pitfalls of mocking, demonizing, and infantilizing mentally ill people.

not even gonna touch the discourse bc i think we all know how that goes by now.

as for the actual art format itself, i find it a little samey and repetitive. i end up making a decent number of vent-heavy edits on here, but i would like to imagine they at least are more visually unique? i think means of self expression that aren't aestheticized for visual appeal / not meant for like Consumption As Art are important, but a lot of it ends up being really cookie-cutter in a way that doesn't feel genuine
