Lost, Confused, Hurting, but most of all, Hoping
Entry # 1
- hindi talaga ako into blogging or having to do some thought catalog, but lately, I hate writing, it only makes my fingers hurt, so I decided to make a blog.
Thoughts as of September 15,2019
- I woke up with a bad sore throat and a sore body, siguro dahil kasi pinagod ko sarili ko this past few weeks, hoping na it’ll make me pre-oocupied and organized, but I was wrong, inabuso ko ng husto yung katawan ko and now i’m having this annoying colds and mala fire-crackers na ubo.
last 2 weeks, on the last day of August 2019, I broke up with my girlfriend, okay but here’s the thing, hindi ko alam kung anong statuts naming but we say I love you to each other and we always call each other at night, met her through, twitter roleplay last 4 years ago (2016) and there, we started of AS ROLEPLAY COUPLE ONLY.
- I told her about how are we gonna work things out when i’m busy at ngayon ay nagrereview na for boards, alam mo yung kahit ayaw mong gawin pero kinakailangan makipag break kasi ayaw mong maramdaman nya yung pagkukulang mo. kaya ginagaw ko kung ano yung tama, pinakawalan ko sya kahit hindi ko kaya, 4 days after I tried to get her back
“okay, you have me back, then what?” at that moment, hindi ko alam isasagot ko, but my fingers tapped their way through the keys and said na “I want to make things better for us, and just love you unconditionally”
her response was “I want too but, getting back is not an answer” I felt my heart crushed, yung luha ko nangingilid na kaso bawal kasi nasa 7-11 ako nun nakikicharge lang HAHAH. ever since, I tried to avoid her conversations in IG and WA, I even unistalled WA, but eventually she asked me to do kasi nahihirapan sya makipag communicate sa IG, ang gaga nag install naman ng WA, pero dahil gusto kong iwasan yung sakit at maramdaman nya din ang sakit ko, I replied coldly, pretended that everything is okay.
Until she said “that’s funny”
bakit?
She told me na how I looked funny pretending that everything is okay, and how I replied so cold to her, that sometimes she hates me at those moments, but she understands it
hindi ko na kaya. I told her I was too broken that’s why I did those things para mas less yung sakit na nararamdaman ko. I told her eventually na it was a bad decision to install WA.
“go on, go” this replied made me cry, but I cannot because I’m inside the train and there’s a lot of people na nakakakita. I cannot bear the hurt anymore, I deleted my account on WA.
now, i’m trying to focus myself on studying and avoiding her in IG but ang gaga ko din kasi pag nakakakita ako ng new story nya, view ko naman agad.
ang hirap, kasabay pa ng burden sa acads, nahihirapan ako, nastress ako lately. will I be able to make it?
habang tinatype ko ito, ang bigat bigat sa pakiramdam, gusto ko umiyak. pero saka na lang.
sana makaahon pa din, kasi napapagod na akong masaktan eh.

Stress has become an unavoidable factor in academia these days. It was always a part of student’s life but the persistent pace of modern era and competition in educational and professional lives has brought it to the extent where it has created some serious mental health problems among students. Beyond the usual challenges of adolescence, modern teenage girls face a society that is increasingly difficult to navigate. High levels of academic stress, complex and fickle friendships, coping with body and social image issues, all within the context of social media and its complexities. If allowed to take its toll, the pressure to compete and conform can leave teenage girls plagued with self-doubt, anxiety and a negative self-identity – a heavy load to carry into adulthood.
BLOOM is an immersive experience designed to help teenage girls kick-start a journey toward greater self-awareness, empowerment and resilience. In this 2-part workshop, participants will be guided in exploring and critically examining topics that commonly affect teenage girls today. They will have opportunities to deepen their understanding of themselves and to learn and practice using healthy ways of navigating the ups and downs of modern girlhood.
Topics:
❀ Love the skin you’re in: Body image and identity expression ❀ Stop, I don’t like that: Personal boundaries and internet safety ❀ BFFs and Frenemies: Navigating friendships ❀ Surfing the waves: Healthy ways to cope with stress and anxiety
Participants of BLOOM can look forward to:
❀ Thought-provoking guided discussions ❀ Stimulating experiential exercises (e.g.role-play,journaling,art&craft) ❀ A hands-on introduction to a toolkit of distress coping skills for daily life ❀ A safe space in which to connect with other young women over common experiences

at parkshala, we've always been focused on the mental-emotional wellbeing of the kids who come to us. you can't take care of someone's "education" keeping their mental-emotional wellbeing aside.
we try to create a 'safe space' for children & young adults.. a space for them to just open up and let their emotions free fall.. a space where they can be themselves without feeling judged or pressurized.
over the years, we’ve conducted workshops and counseling sessions where mental health issues were being addressed. however, nothing beats an open heart and a sympathetic ear.
one of the key factors of dipping mental health is academic pressure that society, family and, the children as well, place upon themselves.
academic pressure is more prevalent where the marks and grades obtained in schools and colleges decide the social status, livelihood, and future of an individual.
it is seen in those systems where students are put through a standardized evaluation procedure limiting their scope to excel within the boundaries and unleash their talents just for the sake of a pre-assumed, pre-set, and pre-conditioned social life.
keeping this in mind, parkshala adopts innovative teaching techniques to make learning fun for children.
