It doesn’t take long for things to settle down; I’m essentially useless now that Zuko has gotten his bending back. Even if he did it how I told him to do it all along but whatever.

The bickering still happens, and I want to throw a knife at him but part of me still loves him. I didn’t hate being betrothed to him as much as I thought I did.

“Did you ever miss us?” I ask him, “after you were banished. I refused to Azula to give away your location and then the Avatars when you wrote me” I confess, “so I left”

“I think. At first I did, but I don’t— I don’t think we would’ve worked together. We fight all the time. I hated you at first. And you hated me” He admits, looking down slightly. He sighs heavily

“Yeah. I guess. But I didn’t really hate- hate you” I admit, “I missed you. I liked knowing you”

He nods, “I did like knowing you too, you’ve changed so much. I mean your fire it’s pink” he laughs

“Maybe it’s from my bubbly personality” I tease, he laughs

“Yeah. Gotten married” I laugh, and I keep laughing because the thought of getting married feels so small and childish to the war we’re supposed to be preparing for.

He laughs; rolling laughs that make me keep laughing. My laughs turn short and wheezy before his face straightens, “are you ok? Can you breathe?” His face turns to me and he smiles seeing my smile. It’s a smile that makes my cheeks hurt and heart race.

“As the Prince of the fire nation. I’m supposed to hate you. Because you’ve betrayed our nation. But as Zuko. As your Zuko. In this moment I don’t feel anything but hate. I feel love for you. A fire that I never want to put out” he tells me, scooting closer to me. I let him cradle my face, “I never hated you”

And how does this affect the 141’s views on Hound after rescuing them?

Like Price who is fighting the exhausting battle with his superiors to let him try to help Hound instead of putting them down like a dog. The battle drains him, and he becomes snappier than usual, irritated by the fact that a small voice of doubt is telling him to give up.

Soap who would love his old comrade back but can’t let go of the fact Hound had killed a teammate he was close with. He wants to forgive and forget but one can’t just do that about the murder of a friend by another. He’s especially bothered by the fact that Hound didn’t seem to feel any guilt for their actions, at least not until they begin to return to their normal self.

Ghost who can’t let his guard down around Hound, fully believing he’d lost the old soldier he once knew. Always lurking nearby Hound, keeping his eyes on them, almost paranoid he’d lose another family team member. But deep down he hopes, and the internal conflict is tearing at him.

And Gaz who worries there’s no hope for Hound, conflicted between seeing them as the monster they’d been turned into or the person he once called a friend. He both pities Hound for what has become of them yet resents them for the harm they’d done to the task force and his friends. Gaz struggles to keep both those opposite emotions under wraps as whenever Hound is brought up.

"mikey, what did you do?"

mikey was screwed. he was really utterly screwed. and it seems like the whole gang knew it too.

"i didn't do anything." mikey whispers back. "i think."

"you think?" baji pipes in, smacking him on the head. "well you better figure it out because it doesn't look like they're going to stop."

mikey gulps as he watches you, the love of his life, the only reason he gets up for the day— beat up a worn out door. and you're terrifyingly good at it too. he's pretty sure they have to clean it up later  —lord knows no one was brave enough to approach you right now, not when you're this angry. angry at him for that matter. 

look, it wasn't like it was intentional. these last few weeks has been busy and sure he hasn't seen you in a while but he thought you understood that. well—you did and you also did bring up the fact you rarely see him anymore and maybe he kind of sprung it on you that you were annoying him when all you wanted was to work on your relationship—okay fine he gets it. this was entirely his fault. 

and maybe it was kind of his fault for teaching you how to fight too (okay that's a lie, he thinks it's attractive as hell but he never thought he'd actually be at the receiving end of it.)

"mikey," draken drawled out, holding his shoulder in a very tight grip, "fix this. we have a meeting in a few and seeing your partner murdering a door isn't something we want others to see."

"yeah yeah, got it." he says, taking a deep breath before making his way into the room. he can do this. he's the president of toman for crying out loud. he can definitely talk to you rationally and come out unharmed.

yeah, he's getting his hopes up way too much.

"10 bucks says he'll chicken out." kazutora said.

"not helping me here." mikey says through gritted teeth but still made it towards the room.

"hey baby…" he starts off, testing the waters. he sees you stopped midair from stabbing the wooden door—or whatever is left of it. "can we talk?"

"i don't know, manjiro. can we?" he winced at the use of his first name.  

"yeah, i deserved that." he paused when you went back to stabbing, then tried to lighten up the mood. "heh, are you imagining kisaki's face again there, babe?"

"no, i'm imagining yours." 

ouch. okay that backfired.

"look i'm—" he settles down behind you, sitting on his knees, "i'm sorry, baby."

"sorry for what?" you mumbled, stopping and looking behind you. 

"i'm sorry for not listening to you before. i know i was tired but i had no right to say that to you." he sees you drop the knife, thank god.  

you've turn around now, the murderous glare you had before slowly morphing into a disappointed one. "i was just worried about you. but you made it seem like i was suffocating you or something and if i am then, "you let out a sigh "then just tell me and i won't bother you again, manjiro."

"you're not," mikey immediately interjected, taking your now free hands in his. "shit, im sorry for not handling it any better. i really do appreciate everything you do and i promise to be a better partner to you. please don't stop bothering me. you know you're the only thing keeping me sane here, baby." 

you let his thumbs draw circles on the back of your hand. "you mean that?"

"god yes." he's doesn't hesitate to pull you in a hug. "i might actually go crazy if you're not here with me." 

"then do better on making that known." you muttered, hiding your face in the crook of his neck as you relaxed in his hold.

"trust me baby, i will." he kisses your temple before looking back at your face. "am i forgiven?"

you nod, which was all he needed to know before he kissed you and was happy to feel you were kissing him back.

I am glad that you are interested in my au, so I will try to tell you everything simply but in detail :3

Just two of us (JTOU) is an au in the form of a visual novel on behalf of Adam Murray. The development of the game is still frozen, but I want to release the prologue in the summer

When Adam went down the stairs to the basement (as we know from vol 2), he begins to realize his guilt to Jonah for yelling at him and telling him to leave this place. He wants to contact Jonah on the walkie-talkie, but Jonah's line is suddenly cut off. Adam got nervous and rushed out of that house in search of his partner. After a while, he finds a BPS van near the highway that crashed into a tree, and Jonah himself was in it, but already dead. After this moment, Adam was constantly followed by a feeling of great guilt, as well as his depression gradually developed. He started drinking, and after a while he accepted that Jonah was dead. But a year later, one day he meets Jonah on the street. From his drunken state, Adam does not realize that he is now seeing him, and even feels him. Only then does he realize that Jonah Marshall is standing in front of him, and not dead. Adam blinked and saw that his friend was now in a different guise, because he had become half an alternative. Despite this one, who now lives in the same body as Jonah, he remains conscious and in no way wants to harm Adam. Adam runs away from him in fear, and after that, for a long time, Jonah tries to regain Adam's trust. Cesar and Sarah try to help Jonah convince Adam, while Mark doesn't want to get involved in this whole damn thing at all, and Evelyn is already desperate, and if she sees Adam drunk again, another tantrum will arise. From the very beginning, Sarah was angry at Adam for drinking, smoking, hanging out somewhere and leaving work with BPS somewhere behind. Therefore, she was the one who asked Cesar to deal with Murray. Then, Cesar invites Adam to his house for a conversation. Because Cesar had been interested in alternatives for a long time, which means he was sure that he would be able to convince Adam that Jonah, despite the alternative, remains the same Jonah. As an example, he cites his cat Johnny, who, just like Jonah, once died and became a monster, but at the same time remained in his mind. Adam is annoyed that Cesar is trying to be instructive here, he makes one sharp movement and breaks the frame with the photo where Cesar was with Mark, Sarah and Johnny. Adam immediately looked into Cesar's eyes, which turned red, or else they looked like Johnny the cat's. He begins to feel something paranormal around Cesar and runs away from home. It turns out that Johnny, as a half-alternative, was able to do the M.A.D effect on people. He taught Cesar this, and besides, they are together almost as one. Adam also left his bag at Cesar's house, and Torres, after rummaging through it, finds a knife there. It immediately became clear to him that Adam could resort to extreme cases and kill Jonah. In the future, Cesar will return the bag along with the knife to Adam, but he will no longer help. Sometimes Cesar will, on the contrary, interfere with Adam, show him what a pathetic alcoholic he is. There is also another line of events between Adam and Tetcher. Thatcher suspects Adam of killing Jonah, and Adam's task is to turn around from the police and plead not guilty.

There are two endings in this au: the good and the bad. A good one, where Adam accepts Jonah as he is and they continue to be friends as childhood friends. And in a bad ending, Jonah gets tired of putting up with it all and then, losing control, he gives himself up to an alternative. The alternative Jonah brings Adam to the point of semi-death, and then kills each of his acquaintances in front of him: Sarah, Mark, Cesar and Evelyn. At an unexpected moment, a bullet flies into Jonah, and turning around, the monster sees Thatcher who is trying to stop the alternative. But in vain, Jonah did not feel pain and then he kills Thatcher too. And then he kills Adam. It all ends with Jonah crying and being left alone.

pain: What's the worst pain your OC has ever felt? Do they have a high pain tolerance?

My smuggler Kaaydan is very tough, he overcomes whatever life throws at him but there was a time he was WAY more vulnerable and that's when he experienced the worst pain ever. This is essentially the story behind his scars. Back when he lived in Nar Shaddaa, he tried to steal spice from a dealer's warehouse but obviously he got caught. [TW: assault/knife] The dealer's enforcers beat him up, then the dealer got out a knife and left two cuts across Kaaydan's face. And that, folks, was K's most painful experience (not counting also the mental aspect of it). Since then, nothing seems as painful, so he's definitely got high pain tolerance now.

hate: What does your OC hate? Why? How do they act towards the object of their hatred?

This one is complex. Yuthuura sees injustice pretty much everywhere but what she truly hated was that no matter what side she was on, she was still caged and manipulated. She grew up as a slave, changed ''owners'', she got into a force cult and then the Empire sent her to Korriban. Almost every aspect of her life was choosen by someone else and it filled her with so much resentment. How did she act towards her hatred? At first, she tried to be a Sith, she tried to believe that the Sith liberated her, but she was only being used again EXCEPT this time she could do something about it. So at the end of the class story, instead of killing Darth Thanaton to join the Dark Council, she killed Darth Thanaton to earn her freedom and leave the Sith forever. That's how her healing journey began.

All her story revolves around freedom/hate/confusion, one day I'll write a proper backstory and explain this in details hihi. There's this line from the Sith Code that describes her perfectly ''My chains are broken, the Force shall free me'' Yuthuura

When I read your matchup description all I could hear in my mind was: Luca Luca Luca Luca. He just matches your list of interests and I think your personalities would mesh really well.

When you guys met you didn’t exactly start on the right foot. You are part of a very powerful and prestigious mafia family, the soul heir and only daughter of your family (idk if you have siblings just pretend).

Your parents loved you and were very protective of you because of this fact, however they also really loved their work. So as a way to kill to birds with one stone: they arranged a marriage between you and the son of the Kaneshiro family.

Your family and the Kaneshiros had been rivals for years, so this was a way to not only broker peace but also ensure you had a husband they could trust and would always protect you. Of course you weren’t happy with this decision at all.

You were devastated that your future had seemed to all have been decided for you, but you loved your family so much and wanted them to be happy. And so you found yourself getting ready to have your first meeting with your fiance.

You guys met at fancy (fully rented out) restaurant. When you got there you were met with a tall blonde anxiously bouncing his leg. He caught you from the corner of his eye and turned to introduce himself. His name was Luca Kaneshiro.

The date was pretty awkward at first. You could feel the heaviness of the tension in the air as if it were thick humidity. However once the food was served, you two noticed you had something in common: you’re both picky eaters.

After that you guys realized you had a lot in common from a love for jewelry to a fear of bugs. After the tension was cleared a bit you two decided to facs the elephant in the room. You two agreed to treat your marriage as a work relationship, but agreed to at least be friends. Little did you two know however is that you two would be more then just friends marriage or not.

Over the next couple of months you guys would go on countless dates: visiting petting zoos, going for long walks, playing video games, shopping, you name it. Slowly you started to fall for your himbo mafia boss. However in respect of your agreement you decided to keep quiet about your feelings as to not complicate things.

However one night on your way home you noticed a black car following you. No matter how many turns you took or alleyways you ducked into they kept finding you. You decided to try and head to a crowded area so you could call for someone to pick you up, when everything went black.

You woke up tied up and gagged (not in a sexy way). In walked a tall man in a dark trench coat and obnoxiously cocky grin. The next few hours felt like agony you had to listen to this dude evil monologue. Turns out he heard about your engagement to Luca and got jealous and wanted you to himself. Not only would he have power over your family but he’d get a hot trophy wife (*cough* creep *cough cough*).

He slowly started to creep over to you when you began to hear commotion outside the door. He went to go see what was going on when the door burst open, and standing there was Luca who had a gun aimed at your captor.

Soon the two are trading blows one after another. Even using the blunt ends of their guns for some extra edge. Soon the enemy pulls a knife and tries to stab Luca in the gut. You let out a gut wrenching scream at the sight. Thankfully Luca dodges and, despite being significantly grazed, uses the opportunity to successfully knock the guy out.

Once he’s sure his opponent won’t get back up he rushes to you to untie you. He checks over you to see if you’re injured and asks if you’re ok. You reply and then the two if you fall into silence as Luca’s men start to deal with the bodies.

He tells you about how he had been searching for days without rest since you disappeared. No eat no sleep and spent every resource possible to finding you. He was so scared he was gonna lose you. After a brief pause after he admitted his feelings, you grabbed and kissed him (ooc chia chan but shhh)

Since then you guys decided to be a real couple. Although you did ask your parents if you could have some more time just being a couple without the pressure of marriage, and they agreed it was a good compromise.

You two now spend your days laughing and being silly, kissing and cuddling, Luca picking you up and spinning you around, and sleeping in on lazy Sundays cuddling his puppy. After the incident Luca has become quite protective and a little possessive, but you reassure him everyday that you’re there safe and sound and all his.

I feel like i could’ve done better on the ending, but I hope you like it.

Ok but I love this idea. I've played around with the idea of vampire slashers and having a vampire reader seems super interesting to me. I'm using the vampire lore from the lost boys because I like that vampire media the best so I hope this matches what you were hoping for. Also for the sake of this I'm saying the boys are in college along with the reader.

Because you're a creature of the night you've probably met Billy and Stu at a party they went to or out at a store late one night. They'd obviously exchange a look about how hot you are and start flirting.

Once you're dating after a few months Stu will crack and tell you that they kill people. You'll be ok with it and keep their secret if they keep yours. When you tell the you're a vampire they won't believe you.

But when you come along one night and show them that you are in fact a vampire and that you do drink blood they're so into it. They already loved your gothic look (Stu a bit more than Billy) but it all kinda fits together now.

They'll try their best to take you out when they can. Their sleep schedules will be so messed up after this but it's worth it to make their lovely s/o happy.

Stu will have all sorts of questions to ask you and Billy has them too but he won't be so annoying about it. "Hey Y/N do you still have to drink water in order to live?" "Honey do all vampires dress like that?" "How do you hide your fangs?"

They'll be happy to have you join them on killing sprees so you can drink their victims blood. Will also probably ask you to help clean up the blood off of them. You know how people lick the spoon after baking? They'll let you lick the knife after they stab someone.

They'll set up a system of who you can feed off of and who they want to kill before you feed off of. Also there has to be some rules about who you can't feed off of too.

They won't believe you when you say you catch on fire in sunlight but when you do actually show them what happens they panic and promise to never make you go out in the sun.

It's so sad cause she just needs someone to explain things a bit slower.

Leore would describe himself as child of stars. His parents are dead as are his brothers. Sorry there will be 0 helpful older peeps in this story. Character flaws is he forgets to look after himself, has a breakdown, then pretends he's fine.

Larch lost everyone and everything so he kinda stopped appreciating life and started killing. If you ask him 'who are you' he'd say 'I'm a murderer' he hates it cause it goes against his culture but it keeps him safe. Character flaws is he gets riled up really easy and it's hard to keep him calm.

the fact that grian realized he was drawing on everyone while he was asleep and decided to not sleep and ended up having a panic attack and accidentally amplifying scar and xisuma's feelings to the same level its like.. living with a mental illness. you can't be passive and ignore it (which for grian would mean sleeping and hoping he can just *not* do it) but you also can't be aggressive and try to get rid of it (which for grian is not sleeping) you just have to learn to live with it and have it not harm you or other people (which he hasnt found yet)

also i might just be vibibg this but i think out of everyone tango feels a sort of parental obligation to grian. hes worried he'll stop breathing in the night, he gets him out of his room, he beams when grian smiles. pearl and mumbo have the sort of betrayed sibling feeling, scar is still trying to hold everything together and xisuma is harbouring the guilt of being the guy who kicked him for the good of the server because they were also good friends. tango has ideas of what is good for grian but being peers ig? also doesn't want to go over what grian wants too much. tango is a little more divided from the others, hes here for jimmy and grian getting better extends to everyone else in their immediate party and further back to hermitcraft and to jimmy and joel and lizzie and everyone

+ tango is our like relief character ig? he doesnt bring all the same weight and its so amazing because a) i love tango b) hes able to be lighthearted and joke and hope and its so necessary with everyone else drowning (even if no one can really tell scar is falling apart)
