ANYWAY! I'll put the rest below the cut because, while not really spoiler-y, it might nudge into that territory and I don't want to accidentally ruin it for anyone :)

I'll preface this by saying GRAIN OF SALT. Actually, several grains of salt, I have done absolutely no story planning or mapping for this, I have some scenes I can see in my head and some vague ideas for overarching plot so all of this is so subject to change it's ridiculous.

HERE WE GOOOO

Takes place outside of the show timeline, Javi is working probably in Florida to deal with trafficking into the US. He has a suspect he has to take to the hospital and, while said suspect is being treated, he's completely stonewalled by a very stubborn but sunshine and bubbly nurse who is like "mmmm nope, don't think you can talk to my patient at he moment, he needs to rest. Come back with a warrant! 😊" and he tries to charm her and it just... does not work. She's like "Nope, sorry! 😊" until she decides her patient is stable enough to handle questioning. This drives him NUTS.

But he's done with her once the suspect is discharged, right?

LOL nope!

He keeps bumping into her and she keeps being VERY hard core on the patients rights issue and he's absolutely losing his mind and eventually is like "what is your DEAL" and she gives him a kind of impassioned speech and he's charmed as HELL. Like still frustrated and annoyed - both at her stonewalling him and her stubbornly sunny and happy disposition - but also like "If anyone fucks with her they're going to have to deal with me." And he just kinda sticks around one night after his suspect is taken away and asks her to breakfast and much to his surprise, she's like "yes please!"

He falls hard. And fast.

And then she ends up on the wrong side of some drug runners. Angst and drama ensues!

Anyway, that's the VERY LOOSE idea of the fic at the moment! The core stuff is grumpy/sunshine with some kinda sorta forced proximity vibes.

Of course, it's me, we'll be delving into big feelings and stuff, too lol I have to build out her backstory more and all kinds of things and put it all together beat by beat yet. I'm so excited for this, for real!

I have so many fics I want to write and only so many hours in the day, it's becoming a problem. Anywho, I hope you enjoy this one when I finally sit down and write it! Love you!!!!

oh yes! boba! let's talk about boba! berry's personal recommendation is to start with the most basic one ahah ;; i love the classic milk tea with black or red tea as a base, it's always so good and i feel like it's a good beginner's choice also it's ayato's favourite so you know it has to taste delicious

it's also the easiest to try making at home to be fair!! you just like need to dissolve some sugar in water into a hot pan, when it starts reducing add a bit of tea leaves and once it's nice and infused i just like, strain it straight into cold milk :'' a bit rustic but it works in the hot italian summers

also my like personal fave is matcha latte with salted cream cheese foam on top but matcha has a bit of a strong flavour that not everyone likes so you know, i'd recommend starting with a milder tasting tea if you're not already acquainted to the matcha flavour. also like, tapioca pearls do taste a bit stiff for some people so if you try them and feel like they're not your thing i usually just either ask for them to not be put in my boba or sub them off for other jellies :333

Japanese was making me so confused, I think I’ve learned a few key phrases, or I’ve learned enough to know when something sounds positive or negative or neutral. (Speech patterns,,, sorry for making it sound so complicated) and French,,, Just everything sounds and looks the same with that language after a while T^T I’ve heard that Spanish isn’t that hard, I might try there first if I ever want to learn again. Kacchan showing up to save him right when he’s at his most desperate and feeling the most alone. Kacchan, showing up to save him.

this is the person he always looked up to as a child (to be fair he was quite a strange child lmao). the person who was even closer to him than All Might. the person he always thought was amazing. and bam, here he is now. appearing in the sky out of nowhere to one-shot the bad guy with a single blast (which, btw, that was his armor-piercing attack too lmao dslkjlk take it easy there kiddo). like, that must have felt absolutely surreal to him, especially coming at a time when he’s already half-delirious and barely hanging on to reality. he must have really thought that he was losing it there for a second.

but he’s really there. it really is him. and for this brief moment -- before the rest of the situation catches up to him, and he remembers about all of the fucked-up AFO stuff, and remembers why he was so afraid and why he was pushing everyone away -- for just this one brief moment, he’s too exhausted and stunned to do anything except to just react. just stands there, looking up at him in awe.

and you know, it almost reminds me of...

just. you guys. the character development. the freaking character development. someone who brings reassurance. someone who shows up and makes you think, “oh, it’s all going to be okay now, because [person] is here.” the role reversals. the growth. the payoff!! because who is the one person who always had faith that Kacchan would one day grow up to become an amazing hero like that. idk ur still doing the confessions thing but anyway. it's not really wild or anything, i just needed to get it off my chest lol (you can ignore this if you want this gets pretty long and confusing i think so buckle up)

also shoutout to the 6th grade anon, i had a similar 6th grade exp. middle schoolers are the worst. i literally had little no friend AND was bullied lol.

anyway there was this one girl in my class that was like a sorta popular girl i was friends with. so during 6th grade, i had no friends except for her (i dont think she saw me as a friend tho or were even friends in the first place?? idk) and i would always crave her attention. i didn't know i had a crush on her i think.

(side note: i would rate the girls in my class based on how pretty and nice to me they are, (i think i put her on 2nd lol))

so then whenever she was absent for the day i would feel sad and all that shit. whenever she was around i always do anything to please her or make her think im cool or something (i was not cool, i was a loser). we would talk endlessly on messenger, talking abt random shit, how shitty her mom was, how shitty my mom was etc. one time during our first class for the day (which was about 5am i think) she was acting weird, i asked her about it, she said her stomach hurt. so me, being all lovesick and shit gave her my lunch ( i didn't have lunch money and only had sandwiches lol) when she thanked me for it, and said she felt better, i felt so proud. idk i just felt so happy then

fast forward to end of 6th grade, we were graduating. by that i mean transitioning from 6th grade to 7th grade. anyway. so we graduated, kept in touch, still messaged her on messenger, and then school got in the way and my phone got taken away cuz i failed sum classes in the 2nd quarter. never had it back since. so we didnt talk for about 4 years.

so back in 2020, my parents got me a laptop for school, and i made a new mess. acc. i reached out to her again. we talked, talked abt shitty moms, i found out she's bi and i told her im a lesbian. after a few days i asked her if she'd ever had a gf or bf or whatever (like the idiot i was) and said she didnt have to answer if she didnt want to obvi. she said yes she's had bf's before. i said, cool. then she asked me why i was asking i told her i was just curious.

so then like about a week and a before my bday was when shits started to go down.

i messaged her, said a quick goodmorning cuz i had classes and how i wanted to kill myself and shit like that (dont worry, im not actively suicidal and she already knew this) she replied and i quote "Good morning, love. I love you."

then like after classes, i messaged her, asked how her day was, told her about my day etc. i waited about an hour. (she doesnt typically reply for about 10 - 15 minutes cuz duh she does have a more eventful life than mine) so i thought none of it. thought she was just busy. so it was nighttime and still no word from her. so i said good night and wished for her to be safe.

morning came, i checked my messages, still nothing, she didnt even see it yet. i went on with my day thinking nothing of it. told myself she might have some problems at home and all that. by the 3rd day, i was pretty anxious and i couldnt think properly. my brain conjuring up scenarios where her mom found out, and her phone got taken away. anything just to convince myself what the dreaded truth was.

it was the 5th day was when i gave up. i saw she changed her pfp, and captioned it like she would normally caption it. replied to the comments, that kind of shit. so then i was so mad by then so i commented too. ofc she didnt reply. i spent days worrying over her safety, when in reality she's just an asshole. and i really thought she really like me you know? i really thought she'd at least considered me as her friend, i guess not

my bday came, we had a party but i wasn't really feeling it ya know? by then i'd already spent the past week crying myself to sleep. no one noticed a thing.

a few months ago i saw she had a bf, and by that time i already felt like my old self again, no longer the broken pathetic shell she left. i was back to square one. so i cried again.

present day, i still see her posts, her ig stories, (i dont think she blocked me). and i cant bring myself to block her either. like idk on one hand i'm so mad that she just left me hanging, that her relationship with her new bf lasted longer than we were together and on the other i knew if she ever reached out again, i would latch on to every inch of her. (that's probably bad lol)

Last time, the story started in the middle of an inexplicable fight, Izuku gave Shoto his phone number and had multiple houses, and Katsuki told Izuku he doesn’t want Izuku to call anyone by their first name but him! Because being controlling is romantic, right?? (Sarcasm.)

In today’s chapter, Katsuki attempts to confess his “love,” Izuku is forced to dress as a girl, Shoto kidnaps Izuku, I rant about people uke-fying my favorite characters, and Kirishima offers some terrible advice!

I don't get it. Has Bakugou supposedly found Izuku's stare cute this whole time, or is this a recent thing? It's so outside the realm of possibility that it's not computing

Omg I saw this and had the best idea for it (especially for this time of the year lol). I’m really proud of myself and what I’ve written so I hope you all like it as well. I’mm also gonna tag some people who I thought might like to read this:

Christmas is the one time of the year to send obnoxious gifts to your friends, or in some cases cheesy holiday cards to the people that mean the most to you. It was about 2 weeks till Christmas when you and your girlfriend Zendaya decided to send out a card to your friends and family this year. Granted some were far away from where the two of you lived but you knew they would arrive eventually. As for your guys’s friends Tom Holland and Harrison Osterfield, it had gotten to them just a little bit before the new year.

A couple weeks later, the boys decided it was finally time to take down and put away the decorations they had up for Christmas. Attempting to make time go by faster while doing so, Tom decided to go live on Instagram while he and Haz got to work on cleaning up the house. About 20 minutes into the live stream, Haz was answering a question regarding any upcoming projects he may have while taking ornaments off of the tree.

Tom was half listening, already knowing the answer and wanting to finish cleaning as soon as possible. He was putting away some knickknacks in a box when he saw the numerous holiday cards he and Haz had gotten from both of their family and friends. Someone in the chat saw Tom in the background looking through all of them and had sent a message in the chat asking what he was looking at. Haz saw it and turned around to look at Tom. “Hey, what’re you looking at, mate?”

Tom looked up at his friend before walking over to where he and his phone was, Christmas cards still in hand. “I found the cards we got this year.” He sat down for a moment in front of the phone, talking the hundreds if not thousands of people watching. “Some of our friends do the craziest Christmas cards imaginable.” He laughed softly as he saw a few in particular and explaining to the live stream what the card basically showed. Eventually he came across yours and Zendaya’s card.

You two decided to do a take on the classic movie Home Alone. Z was dressed in leggings and a cute Christmas sweater while holding the end of a strand of Christmas lights that were wrapped around you, who was dressed in all black with a black beanie to make you look more like the robbers in the movie. The caption at the bottom of the card read “Hope you’re not Home Alone for Christmas!”

Tom smiled to himself, thinking it was fine to show it to the live stream. He had known of the girls’ relationship for the past few months, as the couple had been together for a little over a year. He placed down the other Christmas cards except that one. “This one from (Y/N) and Zendaya is honestly really clever. I swear they’re better roommates than us.” He laughs softly, thinking back to the few times he and Haz had tried to make funny cards for holidays as well.

He looked at the card a little bit longer before turning it around and showing it to the live stream before realizing the card also had a back side to it as well. His eyes widened and he felt his heart drop before quickly putting the card down, “Shit, shit, shit,” and ending the live stream.

Harrison had heard his friend curse and walked over. “What did you do?” He noticed how Tom was holding his face in this hands, obviously guilty about something. He looked around at the floor before seeing the other side of yours and Z’s Christmas card. He picked it up to get a better look.

You and Zendaya were underneath a mistletoe, still in your Home Alone costumes from the other side of the card. The two of you were sharing a sweet kiss while Z held up a bag of ‘expensive’ items that you had ‘stole.’ The caption at the bottom read “We most certainly won’t be.”

There was a second picture underneath the first one where the two of you weren’t kissed but seemed to have just pulled away from one another. Zendaya’s mouth was slightly open, a small speech bubble pointing to it as it read “Keep the change you filthy animal.”

Haz sighed, looking down at Tom as he was still wallowing in self guilt. “You messed up big time, mate.” He laughed softly before walking away to finish taking the ornaments off of the tree while Tom groaned loudly.

Back at your and Zendaya’s house, the two of you were watching some movies and having a lazy day. In between movies, you had offered to make lunch so Z decided to browse through Twitter. She went to the trending hashtags of the day, the first being her own name, and the second one being Tom’s. Confused, she clicked on her name to see what the chaos was about. Her eyes widened as she read through the top 10 or so hashtags explaining what had happened, one of which included screenshots of their Christmas card.

She couldn’t help but laugh. “Of course this would happen because of Tom.” She got up from the couch, walking into the kitchen. “Hey babe,” she chuckled softly, “guess what our god friend Tom did?” You turned around, leaning back against the counter top in thought. “Hmm, did he spoil something for his new movie again?”

Zendaya shook her head before taking out her phone. “Nope,” she walked over to you, leaning back against the counter like you, “but he did spoil something.” She laughed softly before handing you her phone to read through all of the tweets. You couldn’t help but laugh as well. “Damn it, Holland!”

You and Z had been planning your guys’ relationship reveal for the past few months and were so excited for it to, but then again, you should have known that the king of spoiling things himself would do it for you. Neither of you were mad, if anything, both of you thought it was hysterical.

Later that day, Zendaya posted a picture of the two of you during your lazy day regarding what had happened due to Tom’s little mishap. She explained some stuff, mostly just saying how in love with you she was and how happy she was to have you in her life.

Tom of course replied to Zendaya’s tweet saying how sorry he was, which only got a sarcastic reply from you saying how he isn’t allowed anymore holiday cards from the two of you.

Lu new rules is always worth the wait. I love it when the OC stood up to him. And Jungkook being whatever he’s trying to do is leaving us in suspense. But last the scene is perfect. I can picture that scene as if I was watching a drama. Especially when she say “it’ll be easy getting over you” and turn around VERY slowly. Gosh I just want to cry cause it’s beautifully written. JK probably scare that he’s not good enough for her?JEON JUNGKOOK you get on my nerves but I still love him.

BnHA Chapter 297: We’re Bustin’ Outta This Joint

Previously on BnHA: Horikoshi did his best to undo all of the good vibes from the Girl Power arc by killing off Midnight. It sucks and I still don’t like it, but it is what it is. Unfortunately, Not Killing Off Your One Female Teacher Character With Any Character Development was worth 30% of his grade for the semester, so it brought his average down all the way to a C-, and so he and his report card will just have to live with that. Meanwhile Ochako did some rescuing, and the other U.A. kids lay around unconscious and/or traumatized. The chapter ended with an abrupt cut to Tartarus, where AFO is apparently just chilling and waiting for the Nearly High Ends to come bust him free. What kind of a cliffhanger is that to leave your fans hanging on for three whole weeks. Who’s suffering more here, the characters or the readers.

Today on BnHA: Horikoshi is all “okay I know you all want to know what happens to Deku and Shouto and the rest, but have you considered finding out what happens to Overhaul and Muscular and Moonfish and New Girl Character instead?” Fandom is all, “you had us at New Girl Character.” Seiji’s dad is all, “I’m just going to say a bunch of stuff to help make sure none of the readers feel conflicted about cheering on a bunch of mass murderers escaping from prison.” Tomura is all, “dammit AFO why are you still here.” AFO is all, “shhh, Tomura, go back to sleep.” Tomura is all, “wtf but you’re literally hijacking my body and continuing to shred it to bits while we break into BnHA Alcatraz to recruit your own personal Suicide Squad.” AFO is all, “:).” Real!AFO is all, “HERE I AM, EVERYONE, SORRY TO KEEP YOU WAITING.” And then the chapter ends. so this is really the end of the arc then! or at least I hope, good lord. anyways, all right then so let’s do a quick status check:

it looks like the Noumu are hauling Tomura and Spinner away to safety, but it doesn’t look like they managed to save Machia or Compress. this honestly might be in Compress’s best interests though. the heroes can get him some medical help along with Kacchan and Endeavor and everyone else

Dabi is apparently hidden inside Spinner’s scarf, but do they have any way of releasing him without Compress there to undo the quirk? will he be all right in there. like how is he going to get food and water and air and stuff lol. does it wear off after a bit? can Compress undo it when he wakes up, even if he’s in custody? is there a distance limit on it?

and Skeptic was presumably turned into a marble as well, but Compress didn’t bother mentioning him at all. nobody cares about poor Skeptic lol

and bonus AFO theories status check:

Dad for One - AFO called Deku worthless and hasn’t seemed to take the least bit of interest in him despite getting to see his fancy SIXQUIRKS up close and personal. so if he is his dad he sure as heck is a terrible one, that’s all I can say

All for One for All/Deku is a horcrux - well the Spidey Sense seems to offer an alternative explanation to why Deku could sense AFO’s presence, but on the other hand it doesn’t explain why AFO was able to sense Deku’s as well (seeing his dreams and such). still thinking there’s a connection there, guys, idk

AFO is the final villain - five words for you: “EVERYTHING IS FOR MY SAKE.” is that concrete enough yet lol. pretty sure this arc marked both the beginning and end of Tomura’s brief stint as the Big Bad. Deku’s got it in his mind to save him now somehow, and we all know what happens when Deku starts getting determined to save people. look out AFO

as for the heroes, they’re all varying degrees of Fucked and I think it’s honestly too much to even take stock of at this point. maybe if I get a rush of hyperfixation in the next couple days or so I’ll do a separate post analyzing the impact of this arc and where things currently stand and where they might be headed from here

but in the meantime, ngl, this chapter was kind of a hot mess lmao. but whatever, I don’t even care because at least he managed to get all of it done within the allotted 17 pages, meaning that next week (or rather two weeks from now, sob) we really can get moving onto the aforementioned Triage arc!
