because i fucking love this game

annabeth

so good. like. too fucking good

prefers the imposter role because she is amazing at sabotaging and killing without getting seen

a master at travelling the vents unnoticed

very good at making sure she doesn’t form a pattern in who she kills

only self reports when she knows she won’t be suspicious

changes her behavior in real life to be less suspicious in game

percy always gets so offended when she kills him out of convenience

(“i can’t believe you killed me!” “you were literally in a room alone doing your task it was too easy”)

memorized every task so she always has an alibi

when she’s a crewmate she just finishes her tasks and always saves the crew when they imposter sabotages the reactor or something

is always able to figure out who the imposter because she memorized everyone’s tells like the little shit she is (and percy can’t even lie to her anymore like he’s the worst liar)

is kinda good at being the imposter but definitely kills certain people on purpose

those people: jason (duh, he liked to piss him off), piper (cause he thinks it’s funny when she’s mad), reyna (bc he considers that a fucking accomplishment he would totally go around camp jupiter telling everyone he killed the praetor), and leo (no explanation needed)

refuses to kill: annabeth (bc he’s a simp), hazel (bc he loves her too much), grover (🐐)

people he’s indifferent to killing: frank and nico (but he still feels kinda bad bc my boy is too sweet)

when he’s the imposter he’s so bad at defending himself

and annabeth can read him super easily

so when she accuses him he’s just like “yeah just vote me out lolz”

when he’s a crewmate he kinda just does his tasks idk

but he never saves the crew when their being sabotaged cause he doesn’t like that pressure

main difference between her and annabeth is that annabeth is more strategic whereas reyna just kills whenever she feels like it

annabeth and reyna have an unspoken agreement that when reyna’s the imposter annabeth won’t say anything as long as reyna doesn’t kill her

Reynabeth Headcanons :)

Some Reynabeth headcanons because they are my favourite non-canon queer ship :D

- Annabeth does Reyna’s hair often because they both find it very relaxing

- Both of them spend hours together in the praetor’s room while Reyna goes over stuff for the legion and Annabeth re-designs Olympus

- Annabeth can’t cook very well so Reyna does most of the cooking

- They spar a lot together for practice and they always somehow end up making out (no I love the trope where one person pins the other against a wall shut up this happens A LOT with them)

- They go on picnic dates a lot. Annabeth is sitting as she reads a book and Reyna is laying on her lap. Annabeth has one hand in Reyna’s hair or Reyna holds Annabeth’s hand to her chest so she can feel her heartbeat

- For some very fancy event that Annabeth gets invited to they wear formal clothing and Reyna wears a black suit with a deep purple tie to match Annabeth’s deep purple knee length dress. They both look hella fancy with their pretty hair and champagne glasses

- They go on TONS of double dates with Jercy- yes valgrace but I ship valdangelo so deal with it- where its just Reyna and Percy fighting to see who is better/more powerful while Jason and Annabeth catch up or have a tea date together (me: *starts writing jasabeth shit in my head*)

- Competitive karaoke. They have a shitload of these while both of them have mediocre voices together they sound unstoppable. THEY SING TAYLOR SWIFT SONGS A LOT THAT IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY

- No I’m not done

- ARCADE DATESSSSSSSS!!! They get super competitive about who can win the other better prizes (like for the other ykwim?). They also get generally competitive and both of them just look at each other and go ‘goddam she looks so hot when’s she’s like that’

- They send each other wholesome memes when they are away from each other and the other always replies with a key smash and a ‘gods I love you so much’ and a crying emoji

- They have one of those queer couple tik tok accs and they are like.... super famous and everyone loves them. They even have a joint acc with Jercy

- They use the 2/2/2 rule. Basically every 2 weeks they go out for a day every 2 months they take a week off and every 2 years they vacation for a month. Every two weeks they go on a picnic date, shopping, and either to a museum or library. Every two months they visit each camp alternatively or go on tiny road trips or they binge watch a show. And every 2 years they go on an international trip and explore many many mannnnnyyy different countries (look these 2 have both never really had homes other than their respective camps so they love exploring EVERYWHERE)

- ESKIMO KISSES!!!! They both take some time to adjust to being physically together and something that they both love is Eskimo kisses (nose rubs if your wondering) and they constantly give each other Eskimo kisses whether it’s... *starts blanking coz how the fuck do u explain ‘chumma’ to a non-Telugu/Tamil speaking person?!* ummm.. uhhh just to express love or chaste For those who do know what ‘chumma’ is: Eskimo kisses whether it’s just chumma or filled with love and passion

- They bring each other up whenever they can no matter what the conversation is about

✨My Opinions on Random Fanon Ships in Percy Jackson✨

Theyna- MY FAVORITE SHIP IN THE ENTIRE FRANCHISE 😭. They had so much chemistry, potential, and naturally amazing and hilarious dialogue. I fell in love right away. They have so much in common and feel so right for each other, doesn’t matter if they’re Hunters. Besides- Reyna got rejected by the brother, so what better thing to do than to steal his sister? My queens deserve each other-

Tratie- I have no idea where this came from or why it’s so well-loved, but I like it. It’s a really cute concept though I wish their friendship was expanded on more in the books

Clarilena- Honestly yes. If Clarisse didn’t have Chris, she definitely should’ve gotten together with Silena. The butch and the femme will always be one of the most iconic relationship tropes ever, plus their chemistry and how close they were was really cute and interesting

Reynabeth- Lowkey. If Annabeth wasn’t dating Percy (and Theyna didn’t exist) Reyna would probably be my first choice for Annabeth. They had more chemistry in that one New Rome tour chapter than Percy and Annabeth had in 12+ books and had so much potential as intelligent badass leaders

Pipabeth- ew. Riordan says they’re BFFs and then degrades Annabeth for Piper’s sake, never shows them doing anything friends do, and they never talk, hang out, etc. and their friendship was never explained or expanded on. Kinda just seemed like Riordan created it for the sole purpose of giving Annabeth a BFF and to make the readers like Piper more by having Annabeth like her too despite them being polar opposites and realistically would’ve argued ten times a day

Thaliabeth- pedophila??? and lowkey honorary incest???

Lukabeth- YUCK same thing as Thaliabeth but even worse and toxic af

Pipeyna- nah sis my queen deserves better than some kid who stole her boyfriend then thought she could talk to her about her love life even though was the one who ruined it and made her feel even more lonely, bitter, and shitty without an apology. Also a not-expanded-on-or-explained friendship that made no sense

Perachel- Amazing. So much chemistry and naturally flowing dialogue that just made sense plus it’s super healthy and realistic. Doesn’t deserve all the hate it gets

Dreyna- Lowkey kinda cute. Reyna showing Drew how to fight, Drew and Reyna doing each other’s hair and makeup, Reyna teaching Drew to be nicer, etc.

Jercy- Meh. Their bromance was kind of bland and the fandom over-exaggerates it. They hated each other more than they liked each other, but the potential was definitely there

Valgrace- GIRL YES. Literally gay Frazel and their friendship was so cute but left in the dark honestly my favorite ship besides Theyna

Valdangelo- Yeah kinda. They have a lot in common and could talk to each other about their similar pasts and trauma, plus they’re actually quite similar

Racheyna- I wouldn’t mind it. The artist and the war goddess’ daughter is a cute concept

Jasico- Not really. I don’t really see them being anything more than friends

Perleo- Sassy best friends and sassy boyfriends

Thalico- girl stop with the pedophilia-

Pipalypso- This exists? Why???

Rachabeth- The concept of Rachel having a crush on Percy and Annabeth during BoTL is a concept the world can’t handle but my queen deserves better than some blondie who went ‘you’re friends with my boyfriend and you have different genitals than him? I’m going to hate on you for two years straight for no reason ❤️’

Pipeynabeth- I like Reynabeth but Pipabeth and Pipeyna I don’t so nah

Pipalia- Thalia would’ve realistically hated Piper (and so should’ve Annabeth) for her charmspeak ability (Luke controlled by Kronos who?) and they have absolutely nothing in common or any chemistry so no

Leyna- Honestly sort of. Their concept is cute. Reyna could teach Leo to be a stronger fighter and how to be a better leader and Leo could teach Reyna to let loose. Good friends at least

Perzoe- My queen deserves better than some arrogant douche who went ‘is that the guy who broke the heart of the girl who sacrificed herself to save me? no it isn’t ❤️′

Pipazel- Honestly makes no sense. They didn’t share any moments whatsoever in the books and barely make good friends much less good girlfriends

Thalypso- This also exists???

Perlia- My queen deserves better than some arrogant douche who went ‘we were best friends and have a lot in common? no we weren’t ❤️′

Perlypso- Even tho I don’t really like her this girl deserves better than some arrogant douche who went ‘you saved and healed me and I promised to take you off your imprisonment island? no I didn’t ❤️′

Liper- My baby boy deserves better than some girl who went ‘we were best friends for months and knew each other before we knew we were demigods? no we weren’t ❤️’ like girl didn’t even bother thinking about checking on her so-called best friend cause she was too busy drooling all over her boyfriend-

😂 Yes I do! I have multiple AUs for them, like Annabeth being switched with Jason or Reyna being switched with Percy. But here have some more classic ones that I love ^^ :

They grow closer when Annabeth starts helping the Romans rebuilding New Rome.

Reyna already talked with Jason about what happened to her and Hylla after they'd been captured by the pirates, but never did she find someone who made her want to talk so much before Annabeth.

It took Annabeth a long time to convince herself to share her childhood with Reyna, who went through much worse, by fear that she would laugh at her. Thankfully, Reyna put her at ease and knows how to be a good listener.

They'll never agree on who confessed to the other first. Annabeth would tell you that Reyna inviting her to sleep at her house with her was the first one making a move, while Reyna would argue that kissing her when she was trying to grab the coffee the next morning was the true first confession!

You could think that they love sparring together, but not so much. They know each other's powers and technics way too well and even if they enjoy a little duel from time to time their favorite shared activity is to plan constructions and battle strategies together.

Reyna's favorite coffee shop quickly becomes Annabeth's and they spend so much time there working and chatting until night that the owner knows what he must always have to make their orders.

Annabeth has one rule whenever they see each other privately: Reyna has to take off her armor, her cape and her weapons, because Annabeth knows how tired wearing this makes her be and how she has difficulties showing herself as a "normal" girl.

Annabeth fell asleep in one of Reyna's cape one day and now it forever is her blanket.

They go along very well with Hazel and Frank, in and outside work, and they often go on double dates with them.

Frank stopped counting how many time he had to find Reyna excuses for being late when he actually knew that it was just Annabeth refusing to let her leave bed.

Reyna doesn't like a big part of the "people" she's working with, but she'll never bitch about them like Annabeth does.

Hylla accepts Annabeth, but she'll never stop poking fun at her, good thing Annabeth is good at answering. And let's be honest, after a few months it just became a game between them.

Yes Jason gave Annabeth the talk; yes Percy gave Reyna the talk. Did they threaten them to never hurt their best friend? Yes. Were they the most scared of the two? Also yes.

They're forbidden, forbidden, from being in the same team at war games!

You have no idea how many quarrels they settled in war games, no idea.

Athena was kinda angry that her daughter chose a roman girl to be with, but hey! can't be worse than a son of Poseidon.

Annabeth's the only one allowed to call Reyna by her full name, but she only does it when she needs to seriously convince Reyna to be nicer to herself.

.....Annabeth's the little spoon. But if you tell anybody...you're dead.

a lot of people have been doing this so i decided why not right. probably gna lose some followers or smth but anyways. pls respect my opinions! if u disagree, thats fine, but please be polite. unless any of my opinions strikes u as morally wrong then pls point it out to me respectfully. thanks!

- i actually liked drew. im so sorry to everyone who hates her but full offence, why. think about it this way ok, first of all drew became hc because silena died. silena was the traitor, the one who betrayed chb, yet after she died campers celebrated her as a hero? and then drew suddenly has to replace her and live up to idk that legacy she left behind,, when all of a sudden this girl named piper swoops in and takes her place. idk abt u but i wld be salty abt that too. not only that, but as an asian, the chances of drew having faced racism/bullying as a child is pretty high (she studies at brooklyn academy). which means that when she finds out shes a demigod, and arrives at chb where most of the campers are white (this is an assumption btw), she’d obviously be scared of being bullied for her skin color right?? so the first thing she wld do before the campers get to bully her is to bully them before they can do so. (sentence structure here is wack i apologize) ofc this might not even have happened, drew could have had a perfect childhood && was a b1tch for no reason, BUT EVEN THEN HER ROLE AS A BULLY WAS PRETTY VITAL BECAUSE THAT FURTHER SHOWED THE CONTRAST BETWEEN HER AND PIPER,, HIGHLIGHTING PIPER AS A HERO//GOOD CHARACTER,, AND THEREFORE MAKING READERS LIKE PIPER MORE. anyway stop hating on drew please. ALSO WHY IS THIS SO LONGA SDFJHG

- jason isnt bland, the fandom just kinda erased his backstory (thanks to @pjohoo-memes for the phrasing lol)

- reynabeth wouldnt have lasted/would have broken up several times. idk i just see them as two extremely powerful characters who have firm opinions and will definitely clash at some point. in a platonic relationship,, i can see them as really good friends but as lovers? idk i just think theyll break up

AND THEN GREEK DEMIGODS COME TO CJ AND ONE OF THEM BOMB IT UP?? octavian has been told all his life that greeks are scum and this dude called leo valdez attacks cj. sure it was an accident, but did octavian know that? no. so it was honestly justified that he was such a salty prick im just saying. also some of yall be hating on octavian for cutting a teddy bear open and thats the funniest shit ive ever heard i swear

- luke didnt go to elysium

- travis and connor stoll r way too underrated. the two have been head counselors of the hermes cabin since luke was revealed as a traitor, can u imagine the stress? luke, the person they probably looked up to as a brother, betrayed them. and they didnt even have time to process this when they were thrown the roles of being hcs. that would have been so stressful and i would probably have broken down if i were them. the stoll brothers taking turns to wake up at ungodly hours because a new camper is crying and homesick and terrified, the stoll brothers having to comfort and take care of new campers, having to deal with the amount of people in that cramped space because not enough campers are being claimed fast enough. having to resolve issues between campers in the hermes cabin all the time. the stolls arent just comedic relief, and we need to stop treating them as such

- tratie shldve been canon idc idc

- demigods of the demeter cabin arent talked about enough and i love the fact that meg was demeters kid. like she isnt the child of one of the big three yet shes so powerful.

- we need to hype clarisse up more her character arc was phucking amazing

- rachel is overhated. sis found out greek gods exist and regularly come down to earth to fuck around and went “ok cool”. queen shit behavior methinks

- the floor 19 crew of mcga is srsly underrated. like do u even remember halfborn gunderson, mallory keen, tj, etc??? bc i feel like we only remember samirah, magnus, alex, and sometimes blitz and hearthstone

- sadie (tkc) was kinda annoying at first. i like her more now tho but i rmb not liking her for a phat while

- tkc and mcga need more love

- carter kane and jason grace arent boring. theyre just really sweet boys who are too good for this world and yes yes yes

- hazel and frank (especially frank) need to be hyped up more. i hardly ever see anything about them. also yall seem to forget that frank was literally made praetor and that even hecate admired hazel and was willing to fight beside her because of how powerful she was

- frazels age gap is kinda sketch but i still think theyre really cute

- nico definitely had trauma from going to tartarus on his own

- GROVER IS PERCYS BEST FRIEND

- annabeth isnt smarter than leo but neither is leo smarter than annabeth. ive seen a lot of discussions about who is smarter and heres my hot take on it: neither. theyre equally smart, just in different ways. leos a genius mathematically speaking. he has no issues solving math problems meant for people much, much older than him. annabeth on the otherhand, is great at strategies etc. she can make an army of 1000 more powerful than the enemy, even if theyre outnumbered. so in my opinion, both are equally as smart//u cant compare their intelligence, because their talents lie in two different areas.

- while i do agree rick riordan isnt a god and that hes bound to make mistakes,, AND that hes given us a lot of representation,, if the representation offends the people its sposed to represent, then theres a problem. im talking about piper as a poc and wearing feathers in her hair. im not a poc, so i cant speak for them on whether or not its wrong, because i dont know either. HOWEVER, i have seen multiple posts BY pocs talking about how they didnt really like rick’s representation of piper, and thats an issue. pocs have been and are still oppressed and discriminated against by many. as a white cis man, we cant really blame him for not knowing (tho he could have done a research,, asked some pocs,, idk), but by representing pocs in that manner, hes influencing impressionable kids/teens into thinking “oh pocs wear feathers in their hair all the time” etc, which isnt true. the pjo/hoo series is extremely successful, and kids who read the books will probably start forming inaccurate opinions on pocs. the amount of fan art that depicts piper with feathers in her hair dont help either. “but rick said so in the books, so its canon” yeah well rick isnt a god and he can get some things wrong at times. im not saying we should cancel him, im saying we should start educating ourselves and not spread false info like pocs wearing feathers in their hair all the time. also that snake song shit where she sang Summertime was just- yeah. bc heres the thing you can be racist, and still include minorities, but portray them in a racist way. And even then, ignorance isn't a thing to admire. Getting those facts wrong still has a major impact. It continues to perpetuate racist stereotypes.

- the fact that most of the strong female characters in the series refuse to be “girly”, and ngl i dont really like that. just because ure girly doesnt mean u cant be strong.

- piper would have been a great way for him to start making the strong characters act girlier, but instead he went with the “I’m not like other girls” trope which is quite obnoxious to hear constantly, and I don’t think it’s necessarily great for younger girls to read that idea growing up. the closest we've ever had to a strong female character who was also into "girly" things was Silena. when I was younger I admired Piper's "I'm not like other girls" thing, but then I got older and realized that the whole mentality of "not like other girls" is super obnoxious, and a little bit toxic

jason being the seventh wheel is the hottest take i’ve seen in a while. YES i love it i think it would’ve played so well with his quest for identity (if that hadn’t been thrown under the bus as well LOL) and it would’ve made leo HEAPS more likely to actually deal with his grief and trauma instead of launching into a relationship bc he thinks he should which i would’ve LOVED to see. the enormity of ur brain. i love to see it

i rly like thinking about jason/annabeth and percy/reyna dynamics bc i love em and analyzing every single possibility in canon is ma jam but i don’t actually think they would’ve been friends in canon, i think jason and annabeth would be passive aggressively arguing all the time bc they both want to be the leaders and i just see reyna as too orderly for percy/piper’s chaotic energy? also i’m totally a slut for reynabeth so i see reyna and annabeth gettting along much easier than percy and reyna. i would’ve loved to see frank, annabeth and reyna as the perceived-as-stoic-actually-quite-emotional-good-at-rational-thinking-badass-mofo trio and percy, hazel and leo/piper as the chaotic good trio/foursome lol

percabeth royalty/magic au (started out inspired by historical fiction as a royalty au only but really, the only way to make it work was to add magic, so it became kinda high fantasy? there’s balls and pretty dresses and fake dating (yes, i did) and people controlling elements and pining over each other and it’s gr8)

reynabeth royalty au (kinda same concept as the last one, except it’s set in a world where the magic aspect is more prevalent, and it’s more focused on a political story (cause the percabeth one is totally self indulgent romance, lol). LOTS OF PINING i love this one sm it’s like the older sister of the first one. it’s also the first multi chaptered fic i ever finished so like. yeah)

What third person would you add onto Leo/Nico? Percy/Nico? Jason/Reyna? Reyna/Annabeth?

Huuum, to Leo and Nico, probably Calypso or Percy (or Will maybe). I see Calypso being a confidant for Nico and slowly developing feelings for him. Leo who would already feel something for the young Italian boy and would see with Calypso to propose him to be on a relationship with them. At first flustered, Nico would quickly feel at ease with those two. I really like Nico/Calypso and I'm sure it'd be great. Gardening, crafting, playing video games... They'd do many activities like this and always have plenty of laughing and cute moments.

And for Percy, those three would be battle terrors. Percy and Leo would constantly be on a new "project" to have fun, and Nico would certainly be the responsible one in the relationship. However, Percy and Leo would always be there for them, everytime he'd need any support.

With Percy/Nico, except Leo of course, I'd add maybe Magnus, with who, like Leo, they'd have a full of sassy and cute moments relationship, or Rachel (who'd be the connection to the real world they both need, + Hades would love her) or Ethan (cause I love Ethico and Percethan) who'd be the down to earth one, and the bond between Percy and Nico who can sometime have stupid conflicts.

With Jason and Reyna, I particularly love Hazel, Octavian or Rachel. I've already talked about the first two (I love the romances between the romans) and for Rachel, let's just say she's the fun they need in their life (like Percy could be too), plus she works at Camp Jupiter now, so bonding over work ? Yes ! (I also like pipeynason between)

And for Reynabeth, I'd add Piper, Clarisse, Sadie or Rachel in first. The first cause she's needed to complete the badass trio (do I really have to explain the appealing here ?). The second for joining the best strategists and fighters of both camp in a polyship and like this destroy any chances for their adversaries during war games. The third, cause she's the fun and the cuteness they both need of. And the forth one cause she would be great with each one so with both ? Of course I like it !

Hazel really is a great third person to add to Pipachel. She's nice, powerful, an artist and the most important, she just came back from the dead, she could want to discover the world, travel, learn the most things she can. And for that, she'll need money, and who are the two richest demigods we know ? Yes, that definitely sounds like a great ship. And with the same way of thinking, I'd add Calypso. Or maybe Will, cause I think he would suit really well with the two : I already picture them like the three most relaxed, fun, smiling and chilling campers. I want them to be friends, so in a relationship is as good if not better.

Ok, know that I LOVE Rick Riordan's characters a lot, and it kills me to not say Clarisse, Reyna, Calypso, Carter, Ethan or Zoe are my favorites. But that place will always be taken by the one and only queen of these series : Rachel Elizabeth Dare. She's one of my, if not MY favorite book character of all time ! (And I can guarantee you I read a lot)

What were we talking about ...? Oh ! Yes ! Who I ship the queen Dare with ! Well let me count... hum... Percy, Annabeth, Grover, Piper, Jason, Leo, Hazel, Luke, Ethan, Clarisse, (I'm thinking about shipping her with Frank), Will, Drew, Reyna, Lou Ellen, Nyssa, Nico, Zoe, Thalia, Juniper, Calypso, Kinzie, Kayla, Austin, Connor, Malcolm, Lacy, Bianca, Echo, Ella, Tyson, Apollo, Britomartis, Alabaster, Alex, Mallory, T.J., Magnus, Sadie and Walt. I think I have everyone. 40 people... I love her and want her to be loved. I think Rachel has an aura, a friendly and lovely aura, for me she's this kind of girl who's loved by everyone. So for all the people I don't ship her with (yet), it's just cause I prefer to imagine a great friendship between them than love (yet) (like with Carter, Samirah or Hylla).

The person I ship the most must be Rachel (with Percy and Calypso close behind).

My favorite m/m ship ? Gods it's hard cause it often changes. But I will say Ethico (Ethan/Nico) or Valdangelo. (Love Percico by the way ^^).

My favorite f/m ships...... Preyna ? Ok, ok, I give this one everytime, that's my favorite ship out of the whole fandom, so I can give you some others. I also really love Percalypso, Perachel and Perzoe (... what do you mean I also always talk about these ones ?) Ok, fine. These ships are the first fanon ships I had for this fandom so they have a special place in my heart. But I'll also really really love Jeyna, Jachel, Nicoe (Nico/Zoe) and Calico (Nico/Calypso) about which I talk less...I think.

And my favorite f/f ship is Hazeyna/Reynazel with Zoeyna close behind (have to name Clarypso (Clarisse/Calypso) and Rachabeth, sorry I can't help myself, it'd feel like betraying them not to do it). (between, I love Reynabeth, love, love, love. But I tend to have more affection for the completely unknown ships. But I'm so happy that's a popular ship it deserves it. Like Pipazel which is beauty too).
