• Alucard may seem slightly distant at first due to being completely unprepared for the thought of having a child, but after processing it he’ll be very happy about it. He will be concerned about you and any problems that may occur along the way, but overall he’s excited about a further step in your commitment to each other.

• The thought of twins make everything much more dramatic for him, as he’s going to be rushing around trying to figure out what he now needs for two babies on the way. He wouldn’t struggle trying to keep up with them, but having to care for them and keep them happy and out of danger (which he tends to be near quite often) is a daunting thought.

• Having a human significant other would worry him a lot, especially since his traits could be a prt of both children. He doesn’t want them to hurt you before they’ve even been born, and once they start to grow they could easily cause you a lot of damage during a tantrum which is something he always keeps in the back of his mind.

• While they’re growing up he’s very proud of both children, even if they’re just behaving like normal babies. He’s proud of them because they’re his and seem to be growing well and healthily, and any achievements or milestones they have will lead to him fixating on it for quite some time (you’ll probably have to tell him to shut up because of how often he brings it up).

• If they do have any long standing behavioural problems then he will be concerned since he knows how hard vampires are to control, but his own children being half human make this even harder. It takes him a while to actually figure out their strength and capabilities, and whether this will lead them to hurting other humans or causing damage towards you during an argument or time of being upset.

• Since you are human, other vampires will probably be curious as to who Alucard had children with, which will definitely put yours and your children’s lives at risk. Alucard would be very protective of all three of you at all times, even if danger doesn’t seem imminent, as he knows that it could still happen at any time and losing his family would cause him to spiral more than anything.

• skills and learning - Alucard would spend as much time as he could to teach both children, both discipline and skills. Alucard doesn’t want his children to grow up into someone like him, but if they do he wants them to know how to look after themselves and be independent if they need to be in the event of anything happening to you and Alucard when they’re older, as well as wishing them a life they can enjoy.

Alucard chuckles, as he picks up the blood packet from the ice.

You're unsure of what to say when he gets like this; you just sit there with your face continuing to feel warmer by the second.

Y'all ever think about how upset Alucard was when he realized he wasn't dead after he stopped existing thanks to Schrödinger's blood?

Like, we know Alucard has been desiring death for a long time and showed that side to Anderson before Anderson decided that fucked up flowey was the way to go, but like Alucard looked peaceful as he faded away. Sad, but peaceful.

And think the reason why, was because he thought that he really was finally going to die, which makes me think he probably was incredibly upset upon realizing he wasn't actually dead, but merely didn't exist. Which had to be made worse, because of the amount of souls he took with him.

Even if he doesn´t understand all terms or explanations he´s just going to make sure his child is safe (as safe as a child of Alucard can be anyway) and enjoys themselves, he doesn´t really care about anythingelse

Oh and if the child ever finds their heart being broken... well Alucard can definitely can take care of that asshole...

Overall amazing dad 11/10. Always does his best, just sometimes a bit confused what the fuck is even going on. Never judges and definitely always willing to give his child a hug, especially when he has no clue what to say to comfort them properly.

Alucard's Clothes Headcanon

His psycho murder face gets me wet

Alu used to have real clothes tailored for him. He had an entire wardrobe of fine suits complete with cravat and silk handkerchiefs, as well has multiple sets of gloves embroidered with his restriction seals. And fedora hats. And each set of clothes lasted no more than a night in the field. Actually, they lasted no more than 5 min once Alucard went for his walks

At first, only Walter was appalled because he was supposed to clean and patch the clothes, but eventually, even Integra snapped when faced with Alucard's wardrobe budget. So she made him materialize his own clothing

His choice was between wearing clothes or having unlimited blessed ammo (Abridged Alu went on one mission in the nude just to troll Integra)

- Alucard tries to his best to protect you from everything and anything that could possibly pose as a threat to you in everyday life, and in dangerous situations. Because of this he’s always on the look out for possible threats, and may become slightly paranoid by the thought of you getting hurt because of this.

- When you are in danger he almost becomes feral, to the point where you’re the only thing he thinks about and attempts to protect. Any other goal or priority he had before realising you were in trouble goes completely ignored by him until you’re out of danger and he’s satisfied that you weren’t hurt. 

- His devotion to you, corresponding to the protection he places over you, is constant. He isn’t sure where it initially came from but it’s something he’ll never be able to stop or let go. Anything you ask for is given to you, and he’ll go out of his way to make sure you’re happy and comfortable at all times.

- Other may definitely think it’s strange that Alucard has devoted himself so much to a human, but to him he doesn’t see anything strange about it. He’s so used to his feelings towards you so he doesn’t imagine falling for anyone else, although he would prefer you to be with him for much longer than your human life span.

- The fact that you are human makes him much more vigilant and protective over you as he views you to be incredibly fragile compared to himself, even if you can handle yourself as a human. Not only this, but many of the people Alucard has problems with may also attempt to get to you which makes him look out for you even more than he may have originally would have thought to.

- He finds that turning you into a vampire would make protecting you much easier and would contribute a lot towards his peace of mind. However, this would also reassure him that you’d be able to stay with him for much longer than your human life-span would allow, which ultimately ends up being his one goal when trying to convince you to let him turn you.

- If you don’t want to be turned into a vampire he would be quite shocked and confused for quite some time, although he may express this through aggression and going after those he’s purposefully hunted down with much more violence. But after settling down and talking with you, he’d be more open with seeing your point of view.

- He desperately wants to turn you, so that you can be with him eternally, but he doesn’t want to betray you by going behind your back and forcing you to become like him. He’ll try his best to convince you in subtle ways to turn and be with him, but will settle on your decision if you continue to refuse.

- After settling on your decision not to be turned, he then makes it his goal to make the most of the time he can actually have with you. This includes giving you as many experiences he can that most people could never even imagine and making you as happy as you can be despite his continuous dread towards eventually losing you.
