i'm sorry but steve looks like the type who would enjoy you washing his hair. like he would come home exhausted from work and life in general, but today was really tiring.

"right day?" you'd ask.

"this kid managed to sneak into the back and his mom yelled at us for the last ten minutes." he'd mumble while flopping on the bed.

you let out a hum. "wanna shower?"

he knew it wouldn't be anything sexual so he nodded his head. you go turn on the water and get it warm. he'd sluggishly walk in and start taking his clothes off, but you'd step in to take his shirt off.

you'd both get in at the same time but you'd make sure that the water hit steve first. he'd let out a groan, feeling like his body was finally relaxing. he'd turn around to wash his face and get his hair wet and when he turns back to you he sees you squeezing shampoo into your hand.

"here, you get in the water." he'd mumble while switching spots with you. depending on your height he'd either bend down a bit or just lean his head back into your hands. as soon as you start massaging the soap into his scalp he swears he's in heaven. he'd lean into your touch closing his eyes as you scrubbed away his worries and stresses. suddenly today's events don't matter and he's not even thinking about how tomorrow he has to switch the comedy section with the action one. all that matters to him right now is you and your magical little fingers.

not wanting to break the comfortable silence, you tap his shoulder letting him know he's good to rinse away the suds away. you start to grab the shampoo to get ready to wash your own hair now but steve's hands stop you.

"let me rinse this out then i'll wash your hair."

of course bepo didn't witness zepo die (pedro could have shared with him the experience as someone who knew zepo very closely, unlike bepo himself. it could have fueled bepo) and it's been years since they seen each other

it would have given law fighting personal stakes. of course bepo would have been taken out of the fight early on but it would have emotional impact. and it would develop both bepo's and his characters and showcase once again strength of the bond between captain and first mate

law would understand! he just came back from his own revenge quest! imagine the impact of him teleporting bepo to safety after he gave it his all and finishing off big mom
