seriously doubt adam or lawrence had any close/trusted friends which just makes their relationship in the bathroom that much more weirdly emotionally charged. codependency bait to the max

Casual reminder that the local teddybear himbo is also a bloodthirsty cultist and he could be coming for you xoxo
also rest in peace Husk, I guess
Blackdragon realises he doesn't have to be beautiful to live a life surrounded by people he loves
And last but not least Dire Wolf is a child now!! She's super cute for a future psychite-dependent swamp creature, and I love her to bits. The older cultists are currently in the process of building a cozy cottagecore bedroom for the three girls to share <3

Kiss Me in Komorebi+ 🌸
[Episode One] First Impressions.
introducing Daithí Murray by @buglaur!
THESE TWO. idk what it is with our sims laur but when we make them with the intentions of liking one another they always have other plans!! these two had the perfect little meet-cute, daithí was tense because of dan’s celebrity status but dan chatted him out of it - and when i go to check their sentiments i see THIS!
also included dan’s literal first interaction with daithí being asking him for fizzing juice tips and it apparently insulting dai to the core dhsjhd

Dude do you know any places where people resell the plushes or the Gabriel pillow case? I'm losing my fucking mind and I feel like a crack addict about to commit murder.
I checked eBay and there wasn’t any. Apparently there was only 500 of each plush. Mr. New Blood (Dave Oshry) said they would restock the plushies eventually. Idk about the pillows tho.

bones have been washed with hand soap and water. not a whole lot of degreasing to do since they’re pretty old and a lot of it has been done by nature already but they could definitely use some. gotta find a container to put them in and i will start degreasing 👍

it occurred to me to Juxtapose the current lackadaisy triumvirate w/the former, now especially mysterious one: namely [rocky ivy freckle] vs [atlas mitzi mordecai]
you have mitzi and ivy where this is sort of an alternate, glamorous, welcoming and potentially promising world. ivy saying everyone treated her like royalty, mitzi's focus on atlas individually and the surprise of his interest & treatment.
then there's freckle and mordecai at least somewhat spontaneously drawn into "but he's just so good at it!"-based professionally shooting and killing you. perhaps also being obliged to someone as further motivation, whether they helped you finish school or not be killed today.
atlas is too mysterious & undialogued to cite any examples while considering Parallels, but you can wonder about rocky kind of being at the helm of the trio / drawing the others in, and trying to get to compose the result you want even if you're improvising your way there, but the proximity of disaster anyways

Me: *shows my partner pics of strawberry squid* isn’t it neat?
Partner: It’s… macabre.
Me: Macabre? How so?
Partner: … it just is.
Me: But… it’s strawberry colored?
Partner: *under their breath* You are the worst crustacean ever.
to be fair it is the worst crustacean ever because it’s actually a mollusc
but i mean
look at this guy. that is a fruit

This event really recontextualizes Li Ling's distaste for authority and desire for justice, doesn't it? It's not just rebellion for rebellion's sake, it's also because Yun Chuan, one of the few people he truly respected who engaged with him on his level was imprisoned and (he was told) dead despite him knowing that Yun Chuan would probably never do anything worthy of imprisonment, and never being told the crime and essentially being told to just forget about it. Like, that's someone who's main interactions with authority were clearly ineffective, and when he finally receives respectful guidance it's taken away in what appears to be an unjust example of authority. No wonder he was a trouble student.

So you choose not to step through the door, after all why mess with nonsense when you're already in nonsense? You check the items in your pockets, your phone you shut off to conserve power, the dog tag, key and top clink together but offer no help, and when you fiddle with the walkie-talkie you manage to get it to turn on, excitedly you call out to the void but only static responds, which is disappointing but predictable, so you put the items away and hunker down for the night, looking at the sky you can see that the stars seem strange, though you're no expert, and the moon seems to have a second smaller moon near it which looks pretty cool but is a stark reminder of how not on your own world your predicament has landed you.
In the morning you begin looking through the nearby bushes and plant life taking note of anything strange, you notice the berries you had been picking before you stepped through the door are also growing around here, they look and taste the same, and some other plants seem pretty similar to the forest from before as well, although the further away from the door you go the more unfamiliar plants you come across (of course that may just be your lack of familiarity with plants) and the few animals you have noticed are bizarre in a way that you can't explain, like the people from town, they seem almost perfectly familiar, just a little off and the noises they make have you thinking they wouldn't be able to communicate with their counterparts either, brushing aside another branch you come across a strange funnel made of metal which you pocket and what looks to be a regular whistle, you wipe it down and blow but hear nothing aside from the air going through, you consider it is either broken or maybe a dog whistle, as you go to put it away you hear something big running in your direction, before you can decide how to react a large creature storms out of the bushes and stops in the clearing before you, it's huge as a horse with paws and sharp teeth it licks as it looks around and spots you, it shakes its head again reminding you of a horse, then steps closer before turning and staring expectantly, you get the feeling it's waiting on you, impatiently, and you realize it seems to expect you to get on its back. Do you get on?
Yes.

Even if the ICJ does nothing, South Africa and other countries making a case against Israel sets a precedent that now eyes are on them and soon they won’t be able to just keep doing what they’re doing without other countries (besides their masters in the US) turning their backs on them when someone finally retaliates
The issue is no great power wants to intervene in the middle east on Gaza’s behalf. The Europeans and Asians just want their oil and goods shipping to be secure. This isn’t going to push the Arab nations to action because they’ve seen it clearly as genocide from the start, and their rulers don’t want to risk their political power through conflict with Israel. The only way Gaza can be saved in the long-term is if they can find a strong international ally with an economic stake in their existence. The best candidate for that I think is Russia, as having a political entity they can use to cudgel Israel is in their interest. For all the hate Russia gets in the West, they have often been during the Cold War the only nation standing between the US/GB and genocides in many developing countries. A multipolar world with a strong Russia benefits the world greatly, especially as the US is permanently locked into the deadly and idiotic zero-sum game of international politics envisioned by Kissinger
