It isn't common that I have to take a bus or train early in the morning, especially now, but when I have it's a very good reminder of my place💖

We live in an area with a lot of Tradesmen, so early buses are usually all Men going to work their important jobs💙💙 When I'm sitting around them, with all their work clothes and heavy bags, and I'm in a dress that's bursting at the seams because I've got a huge baby Boy in my womb, I feel so weak in the knees, none of them could be as weak and vulnerable as a pregnant women like me if they tried 💖

They're all so strong, so big. They dominate any space just by existing!💙 If all the seats were taken and a Man asked me to move, even when I'm as pregnant as I am I'd do it in a heartbeat 🤰 They should all know just by looking at me that I'm a good woman 💖💖

The lack of advocacy for choice feminism and the practice of taking away women’s choices, rights and freedoms is exactly what led to the erasure of women’s reproductive rights in multiple US states and almost fully eclipsed them in others!!! The same people who put that in motion are the same people who told your female ancestors that they couldn’t wear pants, weren’t fit to work, and that their lives purpose didn’t include anything outside of child bearing and coddling and enabling a man. Do you understand though that when abortion gets banned, there’s no case by case basis? Women die because doctors don’t want to go to prison for performing an abortion even in situations where their baby has already died and their life depends on it. Literally weeks after Poland passed laws banning abortion, a 34 year old woman died completely needlessly after she suffered severe but treatable complications during pregnancy and doctors refused to act.

I'm not sure what you mean here. How does the absence of abortion remove the ability to view each women's situation on a case by case basis? I've often seen abortion used as a band-aid term that's applied to these "life of the mother" situations, rather than people looking at the uniqueness of the situation (because this is a very, very rare thing in the West).

What you described is not an abortion. Abortion is the direct, intentional killing of a baby before they're born. If the child has, tragically, died before birth, then those doctors wouldn't be performing abortions. I'm not a medical professional, and I don't have time to look up what procedures would need to be done to prevent sepsis or other illnesses, but abortion wouldn't be it.

Again, I don't know that situation, and I don't have the time to look it up. I skimmed over an article discussing the death. My heart breaks for her family, to lose three family members is so tragic and awful. I can't imagine how difficult that must be for her husband and children. But again, it doesn't sound like an abortion would have changed anything. From what I read, one of her twins had already passed away, and she most likely died due to septic shock. If there was (I think there must be) a way to remove the child, then maybe something would have changed for the other twin and the mother.

I try to be optimistic, sure. (That's my Christianity coming through, I bet). But what about my view is unrealistic?
